You know what I was thinking about it today?

I was watching so Substacks, an incredible place where you see people that don't have a bunch of followers, that do incredible writing, incredible content.

Uh, and then you'll see people with hundreds of thousands or tens of thousands of followers that do shit writing and shit content.

And there's a lady named Elisa Orlans who wrote an incredible piece today and I gave her flowers because I thought it was great.

She doesn't yet like a six eight thousand dollars pretty good, And I was thinking to myself, you know, this is just about community here, right, This is just about everybody going forward, going in the same direction.

And I know that there's you know, substack isn't just you know, pro democracy, pro humanity content.

I know it's got a dark side depending on the algorithm, and I know that that stuff gets hustled into you know, people that have dark side substack bullshit accounts like we see on social media, not on substack, but you know there this is the only place you will see guys like you know, Lev Parnas, Michael Cohen, you me, big people, big names, big followings, just hop on a substack with someone like twelve followers.

And it dawned on me today, I'm like, oh, this isn't about stars.

This is about community.

This isn't about you know, driving a brand.

This is about amplifying brands.

This is about you know, joining other people.

This is about you know, gathering and recruiting and helping other people by saying, hey, this person does great work.

You should pay attention to them too.

It's it's it's so overly protective in every other format, every other social media account, where nobody shares anybody else's content, they share screenshots, they take out logos, they refuse to say who, who did what.

But here, you know, this is what I love about this community is that everybody's like, this guy did a great piece.

This is something you should pay attention to.

I found it here.

I'm citing a source like Heather Cox Richardson put me in one of her pieces the other day, and I thought to myself, like, fucking, this is what This is what social media was supposed to be in the first place, right, We really lift people.

This is really what subset is.

Yeah, and it's great because you know, no other media source lets you do that.

When you're just a journalist at a place you can't really lift other people up.

Now it's up to the editors to do that.

But here, because we have this system which allows even encourages us to help other journalists or other influences.

It's a fantastic way to just to share some of what you get out of all of this community.

You know, this community that we have is so strong and so dedicated and just amazing in every way.

The unthinkable is becoming thinkable.

Canada's Globe and Man published what you and dozens of independent outlets have been screaming for months.

Canada must prepare for US military coercion, not invasion leverage.

Denmark's Prime minister as well, went further.

A US attack on Greenland, which is now becoming really open conversation on main cable news networks would mark the end of NATO.

She said, the end of the international community as we know it, the end of democratic rule.

It's all obviously following the Venezuela operation the Trump called proof of concept, it's still there's no assault footage, despite the claims of one hundred and fifty aircraft and delta.

Do you call it a proof of concept?

Is that what he call it?

I believe he did, but maybe he's not used the actual word.

But it is a proof of concept.

I've got the exact quote in front of me.

But it's kidnapping the leader of Venezuela and his wife is just a concept.

He's trying to prove it out.

Well, I don't get how they jump.

You know, these guys do this thing every day where they're like, at one minute they just doing a DOJ intervention and arresting a dude and really it's nothing more than that.

The next minute they turn around and they say, no, we're running the country.

The whole thing is ours.

We're in charge.

Everybody's in charge of funding our rules.

You know, it's us.

And I'm like, how does this work?

How do you do the how do you say one thing on one side and then the other thing on the other side is completely different.

So which proof of concept is it.

Is it a proof of concept that they were able to get this guy on a DOJ indictment and you know, Vella having faced a judge, or is it a proof of concept that we now own all the oil in Venezuela and it's all ours and we can do whatever we want to in that country.

That is unclear to me, but it's certainly.

I think it's unclear to him too.

I think it's unclear to everybody because yesterday, and I know when we're getting in the Canada story, but just a quick side step here.

Yesterday, Trump's like, yeah, we own it, and we kidnapped him.

And then they go to the UN Security Council.

We're like, yeah, none of that happened.

He was just picked up on an arrest warrant.

And Trump's like it was an incredible military action.

They're like, no, no, no, I swear to God it wasn't a military action.

And then he's like, we own all the oil and they're like, no, no, we don't all the oil.

We're just we're just helping Venezuela get the oil out of the ground.

Trump's telling the truth in every one of those circuits.

All of his proxies are lying.

It's fucking hilarious to me, you know.

Anyway, continued, then there was this this is our hemisphere.

Yeah, this is the Department of States.

This is not Donald Trump.

This is the Department of State actually putting out a tweet, which is policy.

You know, this is now State Department policy.

This is our hemisphere.

That isn't sending a chill down the spine of the Canadian government and the European Union governments.

It should be, It really shouldn't, because it's serious.

What's going on is a offensive against Greenland, maybe maybe sooner than we think.

And then Canada is on the list.

Yeah, you know, it's it's it's fascinating because that whole Venezuela thing was Trump kicking the door open to informing the rest of North and South America and every sovereign country and nation in the Western hand ms fear that he's our daddy, right like that.

That's what he thrives on.

He thrives on the egomaniacal perception that he's the fucking guy, He's in charge, he's gonna kick that door down, He's gonna take whatever he wants.

He's, you know, Steven Miller, or sorry, Stephen gibbles Uh says the other day, no one could stop us.

Donald Trump's like, no one can stop us.

And then Miller's like, not only can nobody stop us, nobody's gonna fight us militarily.

And that was a question that he was asked after Trump's like, we need Greenland, and the reporter was like, hey, Steven Miller, do you guys really need Greenland?

He goes, no one's gonna stop us militarily.

No one can.

Now here's the catch.

Here's the catch.

He's a military genius.

Yeah, he knows fucking nothing about the military, and he doesn't represent the military, and the military fucking hates Steven Miller.

Had a conversation with someone today in the Canadian military and they're like, dude, I talked to officers down there all the time in the US military, and they're like, we're no fucking invading Canada.

We're never fucking invading Canada.

If we got an order in vade Canada, we would tell him and them to go fuck themselves.

However, it doesn't matter because it's not about invading Canada.

Inasmuch as it is about pestering, destroying, creating coercion around Canada using their military might, their economic might.

But they're not gonna do something like they did to Maderro, like in no way or forty eight Chinook's gonna crest across the border, head into Ottawa Land at the Governor General's residents and pick up Mark Harney and Diana Fox Carny.

That's just never gonna fucking happen.

And here's why.

Because NATO's still a thing.

And while Greenland is this desolate, massive ice sheet of minerals and ice and belongs to Denmark.

That's sort of you know, this is gonna sound really shitty.

It's sort of up for grabs.

Canada is not up for grabs.

Canada is a nation of forty two million people.

Canada is a sovereign nation under the Commonwealth.

Canada has deep, deep, secure, already ties.

Canada is a major producer of everything that everybody in the fucking world wants.

It's not the case for Greenland.

But let's go back just a second.

Because Mark Carney is in Paris meeting with the Coalition of the Willing, met with the Danish Prime minister today and he's like, hey, by the way, just wanted to let everybody know, in no way, shape or form where we leave Greenland to be.

We are going to side with the EU.

We are going to join in a security compact and agreement, and we're going to go and help Greenland, and we're going to make sure Greenland stays in the Danish Kingdom.

On top of that, the EU and a bunch of different leaders from the EU yesterday said oh yeah, we're on team Greenland.

Norway, which who hate Greenland, denmarket Greenland.

By the way, they're like, that was ours first.

Norway, all the Baltics, every major country in the EU, France, Canada, England, they all said the same thing.

If there is a skirmish, we will be there.

If there are US troops, we will be there.

This is fucking unprecedented, not just because you've got a NATO nation threatening to invade, annex takeover another NATO nation.

What you have is every NATO nation that isn't the United States telling one NATO nation that, in no way, shape or form, what we allow you physically to go and co opt Greenland because that is sovereign Danish property.

It belongs to the EU.

It is part of our Arctic sovereignty and security all across the European Union into Canada, all the way through to Alaska.

So you can go fuck yourself.

And that happened yesterday.

But we don't hear those drum beats.

All we hear is what is he gonna do?

Is Donald Trump going to sent forces in Do paratroopers have parkas to thrill their guns?

Work?

Like?

I mean literally, we're sitting here talking about nuance.

None of that nuance matters because the EU and Canada not only stepped up, they told Donald Trump, they told the Trump regime Nona ain't happening.

So you annie up, will anti up even more all of us.

Both things can be It can be true that the United States has designs on Greenland, and it can also be true that the United you know, NATO, which is the EU in Canada.

Really we're not talking anymore about America being part of NATA in that case, could be in defense of Greenland and could unite in defense that.

It makes a lot of sense that they're saying that, otherwise we'll be in sort of appeasement territory.

We would be back, you know, appeasing Donald Trump in ab will takeover.

Then we can't do that anymore.

We know the lessons of World War Two.

The third thing that's also true, I will say is that it is very strategically important.

Greenland is not just Greenland anymore.

Greenland is the most It has the biggest rights, biggest claims to the Arctic because of its deep volcanic shelf.

Believe it or not, they are the key power in the Arctic region.

And so who ever owns Greenland has the biggest claim to the Arctic region, even bigger than Canada's because Kada doesn't have a quick deep volcanic shell for a steep one.

And so this is a major issue.

Plus, we know that the reason the Arctic is so important is because the ice is melting, the trade routes are going to go right through that area.

This is so powerful in terms of Russia and China's you know, strategic plan for the next thirty years all involves that whole thing melting and then being able to use trade routes from China all the way into the United States, Canada and Europe.

And so giving up Greenland would be suicide for Europe because it would take away their biggest claim to the Arctic, which they currently have, So why would you.

Give it up?

You wouldn't give that up.

It also makes complete sense for Canada to support Greenland in every sense militarily because it needs an ally with the deepest, steepest Arctic claim as well.

Otherwise it's just Russia and China again.

So it's absolutely vital that both Canada and the European Union and NATO whatever they want to call themselves and Greenland to the end, because Greenland is so strategically important.

It is something he's going for, It's something he really wants.

It's something America needs because right now all they have is a claim to the Arctic is Alaska, and that's good.

Yeah, yeah, And it's if you, if you know an think about geography and geometry, that claim is is fairly small to the Arctic.

That you know whatever, minerals land minerals.

Canada has big ones, Russia has big ones, Greenland has the biggest, which means Europe has the biggest.

Norway as well, the small Barred Islands if you've heard of those, Yeah, I mean the they Europe.

Europe bones the Arctic, as does Canada.

So Canada, Europe owing the Arctic, knowing how important that is.

Arctic is trending as of today because a lot of people just thought it was a desolate wasteland.

Well it's not the biggest oil mineral reserves unchecked undiscovered are there under the ground.

Greenland strategically is a huge not just trading post, but military post, and that is largely left.

And it's funny because like everybody knew how important the aren't it was, and now the climate changes here when he's like, holy fuck, we better start taking some land because shipping routes, military roots, control of certain continents are going to depend on who owns Greenland.

But that is again the importance here in Canada because not only are the drum beats of war coming for you know, the South American countries, whether it's Columbia, Mexico.

We saw what happened in Venezuela, by the way, massive firefights in Venezuela yesterday, Teetering on the verge of a civil war.

South American guerrillas are flowing into the jungles.

Yeah fucking.

Stopped.

I mean war fag breaks out when you take away military dictator.

Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, like you said dam when they move remove Saddam and all hell broke the same thing.

Anyway, back to Canada.

So Canada has, uh, you know, decided that we do something.

So we just took delivery this last year of six Arctic ice breakers, state of the art icebreak ice breakers.

The United States has none, by the way, zero icebreakers, and Canada also activated.

There's three hundred thousand person civilian defense force.

We're teaching three hundred thousand people to shoot guns, fly drones, et cetera, et cetera.

And Canada's also on this massive recruitment drive.

And then let's drop the bomb.

Canada is getting ready to announce the cancelation of their F thirty five order.

We're gonna take a couple of the F thirty fives that we've already paid for.

The promised money for the rest of the fleet will be removed.

We will avoid that contract.

Lockheed Martin is going to is he don't don't it short the Lockheed Martin stock everybody.

That's probably a great idea today.

And we're gonna be signing a deal with Sweden and SOB for the Grippin I believe it's the Grippin JS twenty nine.

We're gonna be producing manufacturing here in Canada, creating twelve thousand jobs.

And we are literally and Mark Carney, I think, is days away from making an announcement with the Coalition of the Willing, and he's got a bit of a dance to do because it's not like he can you know, it's not like you can come out and go fuck yourself.

It was evident in his statement about Venezuela when he's like, hey, Maduro is a dick, but Venezuelan should be allowed to decide what Venezuelan's futures look like.

So he didn't come out and say what you did was fucking stupid like all these other countries did.

He had to kind of walk a tightrope.

Mark Carney's not going to walk that tightrope.

When he's done with this Coalition of the Willing, he's going to be making a series of announcements, including these military announcements, and he's also going to be making a series of announcements and demands of the Trump regime along with the EU saying we're going to put boots in the and this is breaking news.

You can take this to the bank.

If you like, but we will be seeing a Western defense force boots on the ground in Ukraine to help with the lasting peace agreement that Mark Carney is currently with Macron Starmer and the Coalition of the Willing, and they should be speaking at around six fifteen tonight, I believe, making an announcement about what that might look like and what they're going to present to Donald Trump and Putin.

I cannot believe that they're going to be presenting this to them, but they are.

Whitcoff's going to be involved as well.

That basically says, listen, we're done.

We're going to be helping the Ukrainian people, whether you like it or not.

We're not declaring war on Russia, but we are absolutely going to go in and help maintain any kind of ceasefire or peace agreement, and that peace agreement needs to be predicated on Canadian you Canadian, French and UK troops on the ground.

Newton's going to reject that out of hand.

I mean, he's the last thing he wants is these European troops even closer to him, and he's bordered there, so it's not gonna it's not gonna go anywhere, obviously, but it is important that the Ukraine gets that gets that support and knows that there'll be an actual troops support because the United States is withdrawn.

It's it's supportive, but that is big news that they're willing to throw in that.

You know, between Ukraine and Greenland, those are the places we get to stop Russia and Taiwan to some extent.

Uh, you know, otherwise the fight is going to come to Canada.

And this is a real you know, Greenland doesn't have a lot of people on it.

It's thirty five thousand.

I think, yeah, yeah, we can.

You know, it's not it's important to strategically hold, but it's not a place that's going to have massive casualties like Canada would if the war actually got to Canada.

And you know, the war won't get to Canada if we can contain them to Ukraine.

And you know, whatever they're trying to do in Greenland's it sure seems like they're not expecting resistance in Greenland.

It would be very nice if there was surprised and they did get resistance in Greenland, that would be really good.

Yeah, but part part of uh yeah, I read another article today that said the Trump regime is preparing an offer to the people of Greenland and the administer of Greenland three thousand bucks in person and all you got to and you can continue to live there and do whatever you want.

We just want to have preferential treatment over all the shit that lives underneath here, the ground and the protection of the area, and we want all the shipping roots.

But you can continue to live here.

We'll give you three grand a person.

They're floating that today.

He was talking about how that venezuel needs to be safe, their oil supplies needs to be theirs, but Venezuela is better without Nicholas Maduro and then said Canada's oil supply is safe.

And I thought to myself, are you not going to fucking address the big elephant in the room, that it was a staged slash, illegal kidnapping of a fucking president of another country that could happen to you, dude.

And again, I know he's got to walk a tightrope, but yeah, to your point, I was absolutely disappointed because up until this point in time, he has been stoically brilliant in the way that he's handled him.

And even though he didn't mention Trump by name, anytime he gives him any praise, I fucking cringe.

And I know why he gives him praise and I know it's backhanded praise, and I get what he's trying to do.

It was like someone used this example the other day when he was addressing the Venezuela thing.

It was like watching him walk across the street with a faberget egg with the street was all ice.

He's like.

And I thought to myself, what do these people know about Donald Trump that I don't other than that he's serious about being a huge cocksucker.

Now he's taken the plaque down that has honored the service men and women who showed up to help that day, everybody in Congress showed up to protect the police, showed up to help people.

And took down the plaque that honored the three dead Washington State Capitol police officers that were killed during the insurrection that he fucking paid for and started.

And for us to be sitting here five years later, it's five years to the day, right watching him do what he does, watching him remove the history and the reality of it from America's lives.

In the fucking poor law enforcement officers that were killed in their families and injured, some people were maimed.

So you know, I just did this for endless months of months, and you can't walk away from that investigation and not believe in your heart that this was an organized operation in order to really destroy or disrupt our democracy in a way we can't understand.

It was nothing about It was organic, not even Donald Trump, but it was Donald Trump and Russia and China and all these other players that were fanning the flames of that day in order to really damage our democracy in a way that you know, I don't think we'll ever recover from.
