Helena Woods is a and now listen to me for somebody who knows, like, who loves all things like readings and astrology.

I don't really know the first thing about astrocartography, I can hardly even say it.

So you specialize Helena in astrocartography.

Wait, say it, say it.

So you specialize Helena in astro cartography.

Yep, I finally got it.

I am so excited about this podcast and recording with you because I mean, obviously since I hardly know how to say it I've heard about astro cartography.

I really don't know how it works, but I do know and believe that certain people belong and are drawn to certain places.

So thank you for being on the show.

I'm so excited to chat with you about everything.

First things first, since I hardly know what it is, can you, for people who are new to astroc cartography, can you explain it in really simple terms?

Yeah, it's the astrology of place and location.

So, just like how we have birth charts which show our natal promise of our lives, we also have a unique map of the world that shows us the natal promises of our stories and where they happen.

So where do our people frequently come from?

Where are our career opportunities?

Where are we more seen?

Where do we connect with certain aspects of our lives?

Where is that happening in the world?

So, essentially, it's just a map of your best places in the world.

Okay, and so I have my best friend, trish, who's been on this podcast before, and people who follow me on Instagram know that she's my bestie.

She moved from California to Atlanta and she was miserable, but does that have to do with your astrocartography or does that just have to do with your personality?

More astrocartography, for sure, and timing as well.

So I've seen so many people when they live in a location that's not supportive for them.

With that, what we have on our maps are called planetary lines, and so these lines are showing us the energies and the stories of that location, and you can feel it immediately when you're on a train, when you're on a cruise, when you're flying in the air and you notice you feel differently depending on where you are on that flight.

You're crossing over all of these different lines that have specific energies.

Some are more colder or more serious, more introspective, others are a little bit fearful or more stressed, and then there's other lines that are more pleasure-filled and relaxed or more abundant and seeing the possibility and like expansion of the future.

All these different planets have specific energies, and so when you're visiting or moving or just flying over these lines, you feel that, and so absolutely a lot of people when they live in a place that they don't like.

It's usually indicative in both the map, but also we have what's called a relocation chart, which is separate from your birth chart, and it shows the entire story of what's happening in that location for you.

Okay, tell me how that works.

I mean really dumb it down like pretend I am five years old, because I don't necessarily even understand how astrology works, let alone astrocartography.

So you're saying that because of where I was born and what time where the stars aligned then really have an impact in where I'm drawn to here in my life?

Yep, and basically, when you were born, at the exact minute, certain planets were on certain points.

So like the moon was rising in this part of the world, or the sun was setting in this part of the world, or Venus was setting over here, so all of the planets are in different positions and then it's cast down on the planet and that's where we get these called power points or power locations, where those lines are and where that energy is magnified.

Okay, so you don't really know anything about me or what I prefer, where I prefer to live, so I gave you my time of birth, the date and where.

So what were you able to see in my chart?

Yeah, one of the first places I noted for you that I really loved was actually Madrid, spain.

Have you?

been there?

No, but that's actually where my ancestors are from.

Oh, wow, well, you've got a beautiful relationship line.

It's a romance line.

Well, you've got a beautiful relationship line.

It's a romance line.

It's all about like romance, love, connecting with spiritual kindred spirits.

Relationships are so big there.

And then, crossing in that location, you also have a career line which is all about Venus.

So beauty, you know, beautifying a space or design beautiful things, textures, clothes or something with the arts, that planet of Venus is at the top of your chart.

So it's like your career, your public image, your scene, for those things it's great for a photo shoot, like, if you ever wanted to do a photo shoot in Madrid, definitely would recommend that.

And so there's this story of like balance, of career support and help.

And also it's a great financial abundance line, mixed with romance and like connections with people in that spiritual way.

So what does that mean for my life?

Like I should go on vacation there, I should have my honeymoon there or I should live there.

Yeah, I would definitely go on a vacation there and plan a honeymoon there, for sure.

And maybe, if you are able to have a career, if you're able to plan something where it's like a trip, but maybe at the beginning or the end of the trip you do something like connecting with people or doing maybe like a branding photo shoot or something like that, where you're connecting more with that Venusian.

Maybe it's like you're getting a new wardrobe for your show or something and you're picking out the design and the aesthetics and it's going to really enhance the next season, for instance.

So that would be a great way to use it.

You don't have to move to that location.

Not all of these locations you should move to, because we also have what's called home lines and these are places in the world where it's best for like long-term living and like seriously settling and living somewhere for a long time.

And were you able to do that on a chart?

Yeah, I mean, one of the places I really like for you is the West Coast.

Where are you right now, actually?

Los Angeles.

You're in Los Angeles, Okay, Because I really did like more South in.

Like San Diego, you have the nodes which are these points of fate and significance and important events in your life.

They relate to both home and career.

But San Diego, when you get more south to like Oceanside or Encinitas or Carlsbad, there can more be a deeper feeling of connection to the land and that location.

A deeper feeling of connection to the land and that location.

Los Angeles is a lot more innovative business.

You know more getting serious and organized about your business projects, whereas San Diego is more dreamy, more laid back, more homey.

But you have a lot of home indicators on the West Coast of the US and California for sure?

Yeah, I mean, I love California living, but do you have any practical examples of or any stories of clients that you worked with that who was significantly improved their life by either moving or basing their choices on one of your readings or their astrocartography map?

Oh, yeah, I had a client who went to one of her best, most successful career lines and she ended up traveling there when the timing matched up with going to that line and she ended up getting this massive opportunity.

In her art gallery she had this whole exhibit at a museum.

It was this really huge pinnacle moment in her entire career and she went to the successful career line.

It's called the Jupiter MC line and so you can find this for free on like astrocom and you'll see all these different lines and it'll show the planet that it is as well as what area of life it is.

So MC is like career and public image, and so she went to that line and she had that big opportunity.

I've also helped a lot of people find love and relocate for like finding love and finding their partner.

I've had so many clients get engaged or now married and it just it makes my heart so full when I hear back from them.

There was one client who she was swiping on the app and she set her location to an area that I advised her to and she ended up meeting her partner.

She was living in Denmark when I told her you've got a love line, actually the same one that you have in Madrid.

When I told her you have this love line in Montana you should go visit, she did, and her fiance was there and they're now engaged.

So just stories like that?

Is it timing and place Like, for instance, you see Madrid on my report or reading.

Does timing matter or does it mean to go to Madrid whenever?

Yeah?

So, in terms of energy, you can go at any time and you'll feel the energy of that planetary line, whatever it represents.

But if you want to time a specific event in your life, like a career opportunity or meeting the love of your life, that we definitely have to add timing.

So, seeing, in your birth chart you have what's called transits, which is when the planets are moving and when they hit a certain area of your life, like, for instance, the partnership house.

That provides a window of opportunity or an opening to go to that line and that's how I help people find love and get these opportunities is telling them where to go specifically and then when to go, like what week they should go.

Right, that's, I guess.

My question was how does this information, how have you seen it not only in your own life, but maybe a client's life, help improve their career, somebody to thrive in their job?

Mm-hmm.

Well, I help people relocate and move and time their trips.

So if they want to plan their travels for the year, we pick the best spots and then we time it for the best moment to go to get the best opportunity from that.

So tell me a little bit about your background, like where were you born and how have you used this in your own life?

Yeah, I'm originally from San Diego.

I moved to New York when I was 18.

Actually, on my love line it's actually the Mercury relationship line I dated a lot, had a lot of relationships.

Then I met my husband on that line.

It was actually an exact love latitude.

It was in New York.

I wasn't doing astrology at the time, but I was doing it as a hobby.

It was more for fun.

I wasn't doing it professionally, didn't know about astrocritography.

Met my husband on the relationship line, the love latitude.

My husband had similar placements with me.

We got engaged years later, moved to France in 2018.

He got an opportunity for his job.

Didn't know about astrocritography still at that point.

He got an opportunity for his job.

Didn't know about astrocretography still at that point.

Moved to France on my home line, which is like this line, all about like finding home and like finding where you belong and loving where you live.

Literally felt that.

Wrote a book about it, like the whole story of my life there.

Got into astrocretography.

Learned about all this.

His career lines, his most successful career lines, are here.

He's always had job opportunities in abundance with career here.

You're still there, yeah.

We're still here in France, okay, yep.

And I'm now, for the last two and a half years, I'm a full-time world traveling astrologer, so I literally time my own trips throughout the year, going to these lines and timing it for the exact moment.

And it's just been opportunity after opportunity.

Like it's incredible how this works.

I'll give an example.

I went to Helsinki, finland, because I have a lucky relationship line there.

This is crazy, right, it sounds crazy.

I went to Helsinki, finland, which has my lucky relationship line, so it's all about making contacts and meeting important people Went there when the timing was right, literally within two days.

My like I don't want to say guru, but like my dream teacher, the person that I've studied astrology with and I've looked up to for years.

He runs the astrology podcast Really big deal.

He went into my DMs and messaged me to be on the podcast within two days of being on that line.

I've had this opportunity countless times.

I went to Australia just last month to my career success line.

It's the publicity line is what they call it.

It's the Sun MC line publicity.

Literally less than 24 hours I got an email in my inbox from, like a major journalist and it was like I'm not doing anything.

I'm literally setting the intention going to the line at the right time and it's just like it's almost like when you set an intention this is what I want in my life and I'm going to plan my year around going to these lucky power places and then I time it right too.

It's like it just feels like a magical superpower.

It really does, and I've helped so many people do this, and I hear back the stories and it's like I'm on a mission to get this information into as many hands as I can, because it works.

And that's the power.

I just wonder how could, if somebody's listening and they're like, okay, I want to?

First of all, how could somebody really, if they're interested in getting their chart read, how can somebody do it on a budget?

Yeah, First things first, yeah, yeah, go to astrocom, the free website, and use the Astro Click travel feature, which shows your astrocritography map, and you'll see all these colorful lines.

And then you can get my free cheat sheet, which I'll give you the link.

It's helenawoodscom slash cheat sheet and that cheat sheet is free and it'll tell you a general description of what all of the lines mean.

And then, from there, it gets a little bit more complex when you add the timing.

That's more for like an intermediate, like if you want an astrology reading, that's what I would recommend going to a reading for.

But it's like, yeah, you get that cheat sheet and you could start reading what your map means.

And so for people I love anyone listening knows like I I have a show called the serena soto show.

I also had danielle page on there, who's a friend of mine, and we talked about astrology and I know that some people are very skeptical about astrology and, I'm sure, astro cartography as well.

So what's one myth or misunderstanding you think people have about this sort of science that you'd love to clarify?

Astrology isn't causal, it's correlations.

All we're doing is noticing patterns and we're observing cycles, and so my best advice for anyone who's skeptical about this is just track the data.

Notice how, when you go to one city or town like if you go to LA versus San Diego, what's the difference in energy?

Record that.

Note the observations.

You know.

If you're going on a trip and you notice that every time you go to that random place, there's always seems to be this reoccurring theme or even energy that you feel in that location, what is that?

Write it down.

Track it in that location.

What is that?

Write it down, track it.

Don't make any judgments until you track the data.

I always say that with astrology because it's not causing anything.

It's literally just a mirror reflecting back that which is already happening.

Think of it like a clock on the wall.

The clock isn't making it three, the clock is just showing that it is three o'clock, and so I like to point that back to your intuition.

Your intuition feels these callings of like.

Where do I feel called to go?

That inner compass, you know.

And so, when you consistently feel called to go to a similar part of the world, look at your map.

What's going in that area.

What's happening there?

You know it's getting curious.

Yeah, Well, that was my next question for you is about how important is personal intuition versus astrocartography when it comes to choosing the right location for you.

Yeah, it's huge.

I mean, I always start with the inner voice.

First, the intuition.

First I ask myself what are the top three places that I feel really called to go to?

And then I note from there what's going on in those locations.

And then I ask is that in alignment with my intentions, with what I'm desiring and what I'm valuing in that moment, in that present chapter of life?

Am I wanting to activate or enhance that specific area, whether it's friendship or career or spiritual growth?

Maybe it's a more silent meditation, retreat, right?

We have all these different activations depending on the place and what that brings up in our lives.

And so, starting with the intuition of where do I feel called to go, to look at the map and then ask yourself, once you know the basics of what those lines mean is this in alignment with my goals, my intentions for this year, et cetera?

So I always bring it back to the intuition, because the map is just a reflection of what you're already feeling, and so if you feel called to go somewhere, intuitively, it's shown on your map, and vice versa.

So if some, okay, so you're telling me for me personally, Madrid, Spain.

But if I, if somebody is listening and they go to and get their reading and they look at the map and maybe they don't have the means to go to their special place, what does it improve somebody's life if they take aspects of that place?

Let's say it's Hawaii, and if they start listening to Hawaiian music or they start eating Hawaiian food or they have Hawaiian decor, does that matter?

To bring those sort of aspects into their personal life here in the United States or wherever, or like have to be in that space?

I mean the ideal situation would be to be there.

However, there's what's called remote activation, which is bringing that energy to you, and so if you find that you have your contacts, your relationships, your good friends live in those parts of the world, or maybe you hired out, you're hiring out a team or you're hiring out an assistant and that person lives on that line, that's a great way to stay in contact with that line and get the part of the world and you have a lucky line there, like a really magical energizing line there.

That would be a great way to add that energy into your home.

So it's like if you have, you know, a certain flower, you have plants that are from that part of the world, it's like carrying, you know, those items.

The energy.

Yeah, the energy of it.

But I will say the easiest way is obviously to be there, plan trips there and, second, to have connections with people that are in those spots.

So you know, if you are in a Facebook group or you make friends or connect with people or even getting on a podcast, you know, like just what we're doing.

It's like connecting with those lines, no matter where you are.

So what are the lines that usually come up in a reading?

Like you said, for me Madrid was my Venus line.

Is that right?

Yeah, yeah, so, but I'm already engaged, so maybe that okay.

So, so what does that mean?

That can be a honeymoon, that can be a lovely vacation spot.

You know my husband and I we go to all of our like honeymoon, like love destinations and they're so much better than when we go to hard ones, like difficult lines.

So I mean, like a Venus line would be ideal for most people.

Now it gets a little complicated because it depends on the person's unique Venus in their chart.

Like one person's Venus is going to be very different from someone else's Venus based on the placement.

But a lot of the time people have beautiful experiences on Venus lines and Venus is a lot more than love and romance.

It's also slow living and connection to the senses and beautiful things going to the museum, buying a beautiful purse or something that brings you joy, connecting with your senses, noticing the beauty around you.

It helps you slow down that energy.

Jupiter lines if you go to a Jupiter line it'll be a purple line on that map, but Jupiter brings faith and optimism and expansiveness.

So even if you're not looking for like a job opportunity or to make important contacts, it could be a place where you just feel like the world's your oyster and you have so much faith that everything's going to work out, even if you know the circumstances aren't working at that moment.

There's this like innate belief that it'll work out.

It's just this feeling of like Jupiter enthusiasm and hope.

So in my reading or my chart, what was on my Jupiter line?

Oh, yes, let me see.

So I'm going to pull up your map here.

You have a Jupiter line in Mexico, a Jupiter line in Mexico.

You have one in Oaxaca, oaxaca, mexico.

You also have one going through Austin Texas, and that one is let's see which one is that one?

Oh, that's a home line, so that's more like a property investment, could be a long-term property investment that you make.

Let me see where else you have some other Jupiter lines.

You have a Jupiter line, let's see.

You have a Jupiter line off the coast of Australia and you should have one too over here.

The big one is, yeah, mexico and then going through Austin, texas, and then the other one, the other, oh, you do have a really nice one in the Canary Islands.

Wow so this is like.

This is like the Canary Islands, this is right off of Portugal, madeira, the Portuguese island, madeira, really beautiful spot.

You've got Jupiter on your census self, so it's like that feeling of like you just emanating Jupiter, enjoying travel, hope, faith, abundance, seeing possibility.

That's literally on your sense of self in the Canary Islands, madeira, and also Morocco too, wow, good.

Lord, I got a lot of planning to do.

I know, have you been to Austin?

No, or Mexico.

I've never been to Austin.

Ooh, check out Austin, I know I'm going to.

What about for people who maybe live in a place where all their grandparents live, their parents live?

They just don't get to move.

Don't get to move, you know, is what people were kind of I don't want to say stuck, but they feel really grounded in their hometown because they have kids and they like being next to their family.

You know what happens if they don't fulfill their chart.

That's okay.

You know, I'm a big believer that your soul knows where you want to go, and so if you feel called to stay grounded somewhere, there's a reason for it.

There's something about that place, that story with that chart and that location that you're meant to really go deep on and explore that in this lifetime.

I'm a big believer that what's for you will not go past you and you can't mess this life up at all.

So I believe that you know wherever you are, there you are, you're meant to be there, and so if you don't feel the call or you can't, you know, go, there's a reason you're meant to be there.

There is an additional technique that's really cool and this is for people who are checking out neighborhoods.

It's called local space astrology and it basically shows you like, what neighborhoods, what streets, what towns to go to nearby.

So it's a cool way to have like a micro version of this so that you don't have to go super far.

Say it again.

It's called Local Space Astrology, oh my gosh.

Okay, so that's really good to know, and that you can get online too, yeah online.

You can just go to astrocom right next to the Astro Click Travel.

That's your Astro Map.

But if you go to the next one it'll say Local Space Astrology.

Oh my God, Helena, this is so fascinating to me.

I mean I feel like I'm going to go look and see because I'm curious.

There are so many places in my life and music that I'm drawn to that I have no idea why and I always thought maybe it was like my past life.

But it's funny to think that maybe it is my astrocartography of my soul wanting to go there and your astrocartography showing all that.

I mean.

I personally have seen so many clients say I feel like I've had a past life in this part of the world.

Can you check this for me?

And it's always certain specific lines.

They're called IC lines, specifically the nodes.

So you have one actually where you are in California and then there's the Pluto IC line.

So if you see those lines on your map, they may be places where you feel a deep calling to explore that part of the world because there is some sort of soul, past life connection.

I love it.

So I know that you have a wait list for people to get a reading, but you said you opened up your calendar, so if anybody is listening and they want to get a reading, you're in Paris.

You've been there for a while now Seven years, seven years but you probably read people all over the world All over.

Yeah, and I'm a night owl so I work late at night to suit a lot of time ones.

But yeah, I've lived all over France, corsica, biarritz, all of the different latitudes too and you go a little bit north, a little bit south.

It really changes the story, so it's been very exciting.

But, yeah, I do readings.
