Go podcast.

Now we're on What are you?

What are you thinking about?

What are you talking about?

What are you doing?

I am thinking about the new Metroid Amiibo that has Samus on her new motorcycle.

I think it's pretty cool how long it is.

The motorcycle.

You like that length?

Yeah.

You're a motorcycle length guy.

I didn't know.

That about you?

I've never seen a amiibos that long.

That is one of the longest amiibos I've seen.

I think they also did Link on a motorcycle at one point, but they definitely did him on a horse.

He's on a motorcycle in the downloadable content for Zelda Breath of the Wild, I believe.

Yeah.

So motorcycles, everyone's getting them now.

Do you, do you care?

Did everyone get a motorcycle?

What do you think?

Probably I think that only the main character should get a motorcycle.

Should Steve from Minecraft get a motorcycle?

Well.

Deep thoughts about that?

I'm shocked.

Serious question.

Is this serious?

Am I looking at you being serious?

Yes.

He should not get a motorcycle.

Why not?

'Cause how would you craft one?

Oh, out of wheels.

There's no wheels in one.

What should there be wheels in Minecraft?

Let's take it there.

There is clay, there's slime blocks, there's.

Slime blocks, yes.

There, there is iron.

All right, So what if you took clay, slime box and iron slime box, slime blocks and iron and turned them into wheels?

Well.

Why wouldn't there be wheels in Minecraft?

Inventing the wheel is something humankind did a long time ago.

How did they invent it?

And they just started banging it out.

They're like, let's let's make it round, bang it.

They banged it till it was round.

Well, there's no rubber in Minecraft.

That's true, no?

Rubber.

There's there's clay, there's concrete, there's bricks.

True, and there's wood, and the first wheels, from what I know were wooden.

So why not make a wooden wheel?

Wagon Wheel.

Probably I'd just do black concrete but OK all.

Right, sure, fair.

You can make a concrete wheels just awfully heavy.

So I guess that was the intro to the podcast.

You're welcome everyone, I hope you enjoyed it.

Now that now the intro theme song, I have laughed.

I have cried, I have lost every game, taken all I can take, but I'll stay just the same.

Because you.

All I have, my boy, You are my life, my pride, my joy.

And if I stay, I stay because of you, my boy.

I do not watch youtubers anymore.

I've just stopped watching youtubers.

Totally different small subject that will never be talked about again.

Thanks for thanks for announcing what you're not going to talk about.

Yes.

Yeah, that's and so right now mostly I'm just thinking about them new amiibos.

I'm really.

Introduce ourselves.

This is Ryan.

He's talking.

He's my son.

I'm Jonathan.

This is our podcast.

It's the Talking to My Boy About Video Games podcast and he was thinking about what were you talking about?

Right, wait.

But before we do it, make sure to watch my YouTube video.

Oh it's always promoting his YouTube.

He is not watching YouTube videos anymore or YouTube burrs.

He watches videos on YouTube.

It's mostly stick bots and.

Well I kind of stopped watching videos on YouTube but I would watch my YouTube video, look up Jonathan and Ryan Pokémon and if you see a Pokémon card that has a blue Pokémon that's a fighting type card then click on that and you will hear it.

He's right about everything he says, I believe.

Yeah.

So you are truly my son.

I also promote things I do but don't actually like the things other people do in the same vein of what I do.

Oh yeah, and make sure to watch the old thing you did on Rd.

Rules.

No, I don't.

Dude, it's, it's great.

All right, Thanks.

Yeah, it's great.

I looked like my own son.

Then.

When you see me there, it doesn't look like me, right?

It looks like if I had a kid who was older.

Maybe you'll look like me when you're that age.

You might.

It wouldn't be terrible.

And so as I was saying, I'm really mostly I'm just thinking about the new amiibos that are out.

I'm interested in Silas because he's he's.

Or she.

Well, or.

She people don't know, just like Sam's first came out.

I'm interested in stylist because like they are a new character that I also just really like the suit and I've always liked last Metroid game.

I've always liked the Amiibo for that really cool Metroid.

Guy.

Oh, you mean the Emmy?

Yeah, the Emmys are awesome.

So let's take it back a little bit, Ryan.

People will appreciate some context, I think.

We just watched the latest Nintendo Direct, I believe.

Leave It came out on the 12th, so we're a little bit late with that, but life is busy and also getting Ryan to sit there and watch something that long was a huge challenge.

You said many times I'm bored, I'm bored.

You liked the Amiibo parts, You liked the new Kirby Air Riders Amiibo.

You said you want to get Waddle D but not Kirby because you're a little bit anti conformity.

You want to do it your own way and you wanted that motorcycle.

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond is getting 3 amiibos so far.

Samus.

Samus on a motorcycle that I think it's called the Viola which is weird if I'm remembering this correctly.

And also Silex, who has been the proposed rival to Samus since Metroid Prime Hunters came out on the DSI think Silex is going to be the green haired Samus from prior iterations of what Samus looked like without her suit.

When Samus first came out, the first Metroid game, everyone thought Samus was a boy.

And there was even like comics that were like, he's so cool.

Girls love him.

And then the big surprise at the end of the game is when Samus takes off her suit.

If you do well enough in the game, if you beat it quickly enough, you see, well, it's a bikini girl under there.

Oh, that's a reward bikini girl graphics.

And it's like, it's not really a reward, but it was nice in my opinion, to see that there's a little gender diversity in the video games.

And I think that the only way to make Silex really feel like a true rival to Samus because Silex is just like a random character from Metroid Prime Hunters ADS game.

Silex be like Dark Samus.

In a way.

And they are always doing a new version of Samus.

There was Dark Samus, there was the SAX.

Now Silex, I think is also going to be like either ultimate timeline version of Samus or some sort of relative of Samus.

It's the only way to make it feel like truly connected to Samus as opposed to just like some person who did some things nearby Samus who they fight.

So that didn't bore you that much, what I just said.

Slightly bored.

You, you watched this Nintendo Direct with me, and you were like, oh, my God, this is the most boring video game I've ever seen.

And it was Fire Emblem Weave, I think it's called.

Yeah.

And there were so many.

I feel similarly to you, right?

I wasn't exactly bored but it was like every other game was like in this game, craft and get items, power up your character.

Like I couldn't believe how generic every game seemed.

It should, yes.

Should we move on to Pokémon?

I mean, I was getting to that.

There's a new Pokémon game coming out called PO, PO Pokom, Pokom and no, no, it's PO.

There's a game called Co Pokem.

Nope, no man, I cannot remember.

Start with.

AP definitely starts with AP.

There was one game that was just a Splatoon RIP off where you shoot different colors and match the colors against what you shoot in order.

To do stuff.

RIP off's a little stronger.

It's just called the Ditto game Papulum.

No, it's got a PIA at the end.

That's just poco PIA.

I think it is, yeah.

I think it's.

Poco Pia And when I was growing up, there was a game called Gift Pia about going around a town and helping everybody out.

It sort of was one of the pro generators of the modern, like chibi robos and the Animal Crossings and stuff like that.

What is it?

I really wanna be the talking.

OK, I'm talking too much.

Sure.

So there's a new Pokémon game where you're Ditto, but you're Ditto and you take it from here.

So you are Ditto.

And so you come out of a Pokeball and so you see like a Pokedex and you see a body.

And then I think Ditto's probably thinking, oh I want to be like my trainer and just turns into a little girl and runs off and all I really remember is goes into a QB land and talks to a Bulbasaur.

But the weird thing is, yes, the Bulbasaur isn't QB, but all but the land is.

You're right, the land is QB.

Sort of like Animal Crossing, sort of like Minecraft.

I want.

To say Pokémon Quest.

There was, Yep, sort of like Pokémon Quest.

There were several games.

Dinkum comes to mind.

Dinkum was just like, battle and find resources, invite new people into your town.

And yet I'll try out Dinkum.

I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but this was the least original ideas direct Nintendo Direct I think I've ever seen this new Pokémon game.

Just like Animal Crossing meets Minecraft Dinkum, Animal Crossing meets Minecraft again.

PO Pokum Pokum maybe is the color of shooting one.

Then, geez, they're doing Mario Tennis again.

Now Samus has a motorcycle, but Blink also at a motorcycle and open world.

So it's doing the motorcycle thing again.

You're getting bored.

Your jaw just slacked open.

Like, Oh my God.

He's still talking.

And it's because I'm just describing this relatively unexciting stuff.

Virtual Boys coming back.

Yeah, but you know.

I don't, I don't, I don't.

All I remember is black and red and tennis.

Black, red and Tennis.

That would be the name of the the Virtual Boy experience.

Mario Tennis, it was one of the first games, if not the first game.

I think I might have a pack in.

Game.

And they're gonna make a game that's kind of weird because it's like a story about tennis.

Yes, yeah.

Mario Tennis fever, I think it's called.

Yeah, yeah.

What do you think?

Right.

What's it about?

That story, it's about Mario and his friends get a bad fever, no.

And then they turn into babies sort.

Of they get attacked by some sort of purple cloud.

I know it was a joke.

And while Luigi is a baby for the first time, yeah.

Thoughts, feelings.

Do you care?

I'm not at.

All not at all.

Nope, nothing there.

Why would anybody care?

Because Waluigi is like the quintessential long skinny Mario adversary, I hasten to call him a villain.

I don't even know what his motivations are, other than to be Wario's partner in tennis and maybe in life.

Other than that, it's just, you know, he's just a guy, and now he's a baby and you don't care.

There's so much of that, so much of it.

It was not a bad direct at all, but it was relatively safe and it seemed like a fair amount of games are just like, well, the switch to is popular, so let's just throw this game on there.

People will buy anything they can on their new system that they need an excuse to get, which is sort of the switch to in general.

It's just not exciting.

It's cool.

I like having it.

I'm not mad about it and you're talking I'm talking too much again.

Do you feel this way about the switch to ran?

You were playing a Switch, a game on the Switch to a lot this week.

I thought you were done with video games.

But then suddenly, after maybe a year and a half, two years of me being like, Ryan, I bought you Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga to play.

It's a video game.

You're gonna like it.

You're like no boring, hard pass.

All I need is to get older.

Is that what it took?

Yes.

Really.

It took being less scared of dying in video games.

Oh wow, that you so the whole time.

You see?

Yeah.

Because you're playing with a lot of a lot.

Of the time I get scared of dying in video games for some reason even though nothing bad happens.

Yeah, your your friends die badly.

Assault you.

You were bleeding off your gums a couple weeks ago.

You mean when Nico threw a card and it was so perfect that just scratched my gum above one of my teeth?

And then he punched you in the mouth after, right?

Or kicked you?

Which one was it?

I think you're talking about Sheamus.

No, I'm talking about you the way I remember this story, and sorry if I remember it wrong.

You're like I was playing with Nico and then he suddenly threw a card with expert timing and perfect aim and hit me right in the mouth.

Not mad at him at all, you're just impressed with Nikos card throwing.

Skills, yeah.

And then you're like.

And then he kicked me in the face too.

I was like.

That he didn't kick me in in the face.

He accidentally hurt me.

With what?

His fist or his foot?

He accidentally knocked me off the table.

Oh geez, Ryan.

So anyway.

Oh.

Yeah, and a friend of mine named Holden, we were fighting and he had my back jam into the corner of a concrete wall.

So yeah, you giggle about real pain and real attacks, which make me super sad, and I want to just reboot your entire friend group.

They're nice kids.

They mean, well, way too violent.

And you don't do any of these things to them.

You wrestle with them.

You'll be like, I'll grab you by the arm and they'll be like, I will kick you in the face.

You're like, OK, it's rough anyway.

But in video games you were classically really scared to get hurt.

But you did pick up the Skywalker saga.

You played the bulk of episodes one through 6 and you just started 7.

You said you don't wanna play it cuz you don't like playing as girls.

You've got a real bias against girls.

Yes.

You thought the Hades 2 trailer looked pretty good.

You thought the Fatal Frame 2 again, just this direct I thought had a lot of stuff we've already seen.

I thought every single person except the main character looked.

Good.

In Hades too, Yes.

Yeah.

And you love Phobos?

I believe that's yes.

Is that one of Hades sons or Aries's sons?

It's 1 of Aries's sons.

Aries has two sons, Demos and Phobos.

OK.

And you're hoping that he's in there.

You like those Greek gods?

From my knowledge, that is just from a YouTube video.

That is a Minecraft YouTube video.

Yes, gods, it had some.

Good info.

Has two big accents and Demos has a sword.

I don't think all of that is necessarily accurate.

That was just for a Minecraft mod that they made.

But anyhoo, back to you, Ryan.

You played this Skywalker saga, which again, the theme of this episode, I guess, is old stuff that's not new or exciting, but still kind of cool.

And it's actually a new version, I should say, of old stuff.

So how did you feel about playing through these games of movies you've never watched, you have not watched?

Episode I felt knowledgeable.

You felt like you learned the info.

I I learn info from you and other things, although I have always had a favorite scene out of every single Star Wars movie, whether Lego or not Lego.

OK, what's that scene?

It is the scene when they go to a cold planet and it's it's when they go to Hoth and the ad ads come.

Yep, I've watched that scene like once or twice and I remember a good amount.

You know, calling them ad ads is something I taught you and I apologize because I believe.

It's and it's are awesome.

I think it's like calling an ATM machine an Adam machine.

It's like nobody does that.

It's supposed to be atat I think.

Atat is the most boring name ever.

Adat.

You like adat?

All right, See, let's do it our way.

And what do you like about those adats?

It's still capturing your imagination.

I don't know, I have no idea.

Ha, just feels cool to see them going.

Yeah.

I think that.

A good name.

They do OK.

They have a great.

Name.

All right.

Sorry.

Sorry.

Yeah.

I have a feeling that for a kid, it's really exciting to think about being able to use your speed and your skills and your smarts to take down something huge, something that has way more physical power and physical size.

That I think is a universally exciting idea for a kid who often feels small and feels like you're disadvantaged when it comes to the world at large.

Do you think that makes sense?

I mean, I do have a big different disadvantage of mosquitoes.

Oh, so I think the mosquitoes see you as an ad at and they're like, can we take down this monster, this giant long lived?

Oh, you got one mosquito bite.

Yep, they took you down.

They took me down, I felt a little bit of biting and suddenly I saw blood sucking the evildoer on my arm and and started to panic.

You did freak out.

You said we gotta get out of here, we gotta get out of here.

And we went into the car and.

That's a normal.

It's are terrible.

I think it's normal to be like, hey, I really don't want to be outside right now.

There's mosquitoes.

But you were like, Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God.

I had to keep moving so they didn't keep biting.

I know you hated them and they bit you once and that's, I'm sorry that happened.

But you're, you're looking at me.

You're looking at me like I just don't get it.

Like this is one of the worst events of your life.

Yes, goodbye mosquito trying to bite you is is like a fox running at you.

What's wrong?

What's wrong with that?

No, a fox running at you trying to like, bite you.

But it didn't actually bite you, it just ran at you.

No it, but it tries to bite.

You right, right.

I get you.

And then and then it just like almost scratches.

Almost so.

And then I just run panicking.

Well, it kind of probably does scratch me.

And then I just panic more and and have to get inside of a car and then there is a coyote outside of the door.

Whoa, what's he doing here?

Is he going to fight the fox or is he after you?

No, the coyote and the fox both are doing this at the windows.

Oh, just like when he went to the zoo.

You can't see it, listeners, but Ryan is putting his mouth like zombie chomps up and down like we went to the zoo once.

And the fox.

No, I'm sorry, it was a wolf.

Yeah, he's.

Licking the glass like we wanted to eat Ryan's bones.

Yeah, I was not terrified at.

All I know, I don't know why you weren't.

But it's because I knew it was safe.

So this brings me all back.

Ryan, I'm so glad you're you're pointing out these things.

This may seem unrelated to the listener.

Yeah, we should do.

We should continue.

Video OK in a second, but we're going to wrap up this analysis of Ryan real quick, which is when you think of a really bad thing happening to you, you don't think of a actual bad event.

You think of maybe a bad thing would happen or maybe a bad thing would start to happen, but then I would escape.

You're like, oh man, this would be so bad.

This is like if a fox came at me, not if a fox bit me, but if a fox came at me and I hid in the car.

Like your threshold, and this is my fault.

As your parent, your threshold for actually knowing how to cope with bad things is kind of low.

Yeah, that's why you're.

Like.

No, you've never.

You've had an extremely, I mean, it's not been easy.

You've had some challenges certainly, and school is hard.

You did pretty bad on a test the other day.

So we need to study harder though.

It's not like it's stress free.

But in terms of like actual dangers, you're extremely protected.

Yes, Ryan.

I really want to continue the video.

The video game talk.

So anyway, This is why I'm almost done wrapping up.

Promise.

So This is why you're scared to lose in video games because you don't have any practice with losing, with bad things happening to you, because you've been pretty protected other than getting a bad grade out of tests now and again, which you don't care about.

You haven't had to cope with that.

How do I deal with it when life goes bad?

So we're going to practice that.

You're going to get stronger and better at dealing with the tough times in life because they're going to come.

You said to me not that long ago, Dad, am I going to have a bad life?

And I was like, no, your life's going to be good.

And you're like, what about Trump?

I'm like, he's not going to live that much longer, probably five more years.

So he's not going to be able to make your life worse.

And hopefully people figure out you shouldn't have guys like Trump in office because measles is kicking up.

People are being put in jail for no reason.

People are now being silenced because they noticed that a guy who talked about people was awful, and now they're getting fired and kicked out of the government and stuff like that.

It's all because Trump.

Trump and his gang are really stinking up the world.

So, yeah, we're going to help you.

Have a good life, Ryan, and get through it, even if the politicians are terrible.

I'm.

Gonna move.

On All right, sorry, go ahead.

Yep.

So we recently saw a couple new mega evolutions.

There are two new ones for Raichu which I think is now.

What's what video game are you talking about?

It's good to let people see ZA.

What?

I don't remember.

Is it Pokémon?

Pokémon.

So you can't just say, hey, so I've got this new thing.

It's so good.

It's so weird.

You're like, what thing?

Like you have to say, oh, it's a Pokémon.

Yeah, it's a.

It's a Pokémon thing.

So in Pokémon ZEA I have learned that they are doing 2 new mega evolutions for Raichu which I think was a copy of the two mega evolutions of Charizard.

Didn't feel like an original idea to you?

Nope.

And it's if I understand that Pokémon Legend ZA is going to have day one downloadable content you can buy for extra money in order to get Hoopa, the mythical Pokémon involved, and also these new evolutions for Raichu.

Is that worth the money?

It's like, why do you think they're doing this?

It seems like a little too soon to have downloadable content for a game we haven't even bought yet.

We haven't even played the regular content yet.

Yeah.

What do you think?

I probably think that they're just trying to get us really excited, so when it happens, we're probably going to be even more excited, even though that's kind of the opposite for me.

Yeah, so it's not working on you, which is a relief to me.

And I have to add, I was relieved in a way that you were not all that excited about this Nintendo Direct, because people get really excited about them.

They're just getting excited about being tricked into buying stuff.

It's like getting excited to be brainwashed into wanting to buy something that may not even be that good.

Like it's better to just play the demo and decide for yourself whether it's going to be good when you're like commercials.

They're going to make me want to spend my money and give it away to people I don't know for a thing that I might not like.

Like, that's not great.

So the fact that you're not excited about Nintendo Directs makes me hopeful that you're not going to be easily tricked by those people that just want to get your money for the video games.

Yeah, giving you some weird back scratches.

And you seem to like them.

What about Dinkum, though, Ryan?

Dinkum.

It's.

Probably a terrible game.

How about po Pokum?

Probably a fine.

Game OK, that's not the Pokémon one, that's po po Co Pokémon maybe is the color one and then the Pokémon one is Pokopia.

Yeah.

Pokopia looks good.

I'm gonna get it, yeah.

I think Pokopia is good.

Because I like Animal Crossing, I didn't want to play the last one that much because it was too much work, too much crafting and material gathering.

But this is basically you're a non binary Ditto who can change genders and you can get the powers of different Pokémon you meet and you just hang out.

No fighting.

I'm not in the mood to fight anymore.

Think of them.

You fight a giant shark.

I don't want to do that.

And they're the color 1 Coco Pokum.

Well, Coco Kium.

What?

Let's name it ourselves.

What's this color 1 going to be?

It looks fine.

You shoot colored balls.

You said the boss look good.

You want to get a toy?

The Boss.

It's like a snake.

Yeah, there.

What's that game called?

What are we gonna call it?

It's a color game, so I know it's got AC in it.

Color Game.

We're just gonna call it Color Game.

We're probably gonna call it Color Quest.

All right, that's not bad Color Game Switch.

I'm just Googling it real quick.

No, Crayola Scoot is the first thing that comes on.

So that's not it.

Color Game, switch to up.

There's your brother screaming yes, yeah, we probably can't talk too much longer.

Do you want to talk more about Star Wars?

And are you, are you quitting now that you got through one through 6?

Yeah.

You're not going to do 7-8 and nine, even though Kylo Ren's in there.

Yeah.

What about Finn?

It's Pop U com by the way, Poco Pia and Pop U com in the same friggin direct.

Finn.

I know I'm not smart, but that was tough to keep track of.

Finn's not important.

No, you know what, you're actually right.

He almost was important.

They introduced him in Episode 7 and they're like, wow, this guy's going to have a great story.

Then he just didn't.

Episode 8, he just wanders around and sees some weird horses and meets Benicio Del Toro's I can help you for a price.

And then he's like, all right.

And then they leave.

And then he's like, now what do I do?

And then he's like, I guess I'll help my friends.

And I think that's all he does in episode 9, too.

He's like, I guess I'll help my friends.

Are you getting ready to fart?

No, looks like you're rearing up.

You're kind of getting in a position to aim a fart at me.

OK, now you're sticking your tongue out.

What are your thoughts?

Do you want to stop the podcast?

What's going on in there?

Probably my thoughts are mostly, I think that we have had all that there is to talk about for this podcast.

OK, You think we should wrap it up?

Yeah.

All right, that's fair.

What are we looking forward to, though?

It's always nice to end a podcast with a forward look.

Oh well, I'm completely looking forward to that.

Sam is on a motorcycle.

You're looking forward to toys and you right now you have the Prowler spider verse Lego mini fig right now, so you're looking forward to Legos.

Are you looking forward to any video games though?

Or just the Amiibos and the and the toys?

Well, I am kind of looking forward to that Ditto game.

OK, which I think is poco pia not to be confused.

With yeah, I I am looking forward to Poco Pia.

That's mostly it.

All right.

Are you looking also looking forward to pop pop Ucom Pocopia versus pop ucom?

Which is better?

Do you want me to start the?

Pop.

Pupia.

Pocopia, I can't.

Keep it straight either.

So pocopia is better.

Pocopia Pocopia is better than this Pop Pop Ucom We're watching the Pop Ucom trailer again.

Seems boring.

You are bored with the video games and I think it's cuz toys are special to you.

Like how many motorcycle toys do you have?

How many Amiibo motorcycles specifically?

Like none.

How many video games do you have access to if you had to guess?

250 some.

Probably, and maybe more because you've also got the 3DS collection you're playing to BLOB again on the.

DI love to BLOB too.

I'm trying to 100% it.

Yeah, so.

And I'm gonna need your help on one of the levels.

Rocket Racer.

It's timed.

All right, I'll help you.

I'm happy to help you.

Thanks, Dad.

But to you, video games are like, just tap water.

They're just everywhere.

You can get them whenever you want.

Like endless new games because you're weird old dad, weird bald dad.

You looked at me in the mirror the other day.

I took my shirt off because it stank.

And my house is a heaven for one of my friends named Holden.

Oh, yeah, It's a heaven for him if he comes over.

He just loves it.

He loves old video games.

And he he got really excited when when he saw that I had Pokémon RCS and I was like, Oh yeah, that let's not do it.

No, you didn't.

You didn't care.

He's.

So excited about all of the games.

I I don't care.

I know I know and his family has way more money than our family.

Like they have a giant house with a outdoor like movie projector.

And yeah, they also just leave the house and just leave him home alone.

I mean, maybe, maybe.

So he's got total freedom.

Yeah, he.

Is, but he doesn't have total video games.

Yeah.

Like you have.

And I think his family doesn't want him coming over here because they don't want him playing video games for, like, does he only get to play for like an hour a day?

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Do you want that too?

Do you want me to limit how long you play video games so you appreciate him more?

I may actually appreciate them more.

OK, it's true.

I I might have been more interested in the Star Wars game if you said that I have to do a little bit less every day.

Yeah, If I was like, you don't get to play this game because it's very special.

You'd be like, oh, I want to play it instead of what I usually do, which is be like, Ryan, please play this video game.

Please.

You're like, no, Dad, I'm too busy while you're just, you know, spinning around in circles or eating a muffin or something.

Yeah, I don't know.

So I love you.

Ryan And this whole time our special guest has been here, Rufus.

Yep, Rufus has been here.

Yeah.

He's quietly snoozing in the background.

He's a good, good cat.

So thanks so much for listening, everybody.

We'll be back again in a month or so.

I've got all these other podcasts going looking like, what is it, the worst song on Earth, my old friends.

That's coming back.

I think we got the maximum up cast going.

We already recorded one of those new episodes coming out next week.

Well, I'm probably going to be recording with a bunch of video game developers for a book, but I should think I should just upload it to our podcast feed, right?

To promote ourselves.

They're kind of important video game developers, so why not?

I want to get their autograph.

Yeah, you, me too.

They're they're, they've got the good stuff.

I think I have.

No, I don't have any of their autographs.

I've known him for a while, at least one of them I've known for a decade.

I knew him.

He has a son your age, actually, and you're both born around the same time, so we talked about that a little bit, Yeah.

Anywho, we've got things coming on this feed, so keep an eye out.

There's some surprises if things all go well.

Oh yeah, and my little brother's birthday is in about a week.

That's right.

And Charlie is going to turn 2.

So we're really excited.

And that's it.

Thanks so much for listening.
