As I said, it would have been better if we'd actually been able to watch Shepherd just like get a piece of fruit and a bowl and be like.

There's a great two part in season four of Buffy where they do a body swep episode and Sarah Michell Geller as Buffy swaps with Eliza Dushku, who's like the other Slayer, like she's like the bad Slayer, and they swap bodies.

So the whole episode you've got Sarah Michelle Geller playing Eliza Dush's character.

Yeah, and even in the opening credit should have done it.

Even in the opening credits they changed the open credits.

They episode just say starring Sarah Michelle Geller as Faith in Buffy the Vampires and then guest starring Eliza as Buffy Summers.

Yeah, it's done so well.

About like something like Face Off and people I've taken people like, oh, yeah, johns of Volter plays the good guy, and I'm like, no, he doesn't, He's the bad guy.

They're like, nobody starts.

I'm like, he plays the good guy for like ten minutes that entire film.

I came in for the new Stargate series announcement and then you guys were doing Brainstorm, so I hung around for that, so I kind of skimmed through it.

But I've always enjoyed it.

My top three in the number three position, the Shrine.

I do think it's probably a fan favorite.

I feel like any Stargate, Yeah, any Atlantis episode you like, fan you talk to, they definitely mentioned the Shrine number two.

I mean, it's no surprise to anybody ghost in the machine, even when it's not Tory.

It's a weird episode.

So I'm still upset.

I did like you like you actually liked it, though, like because I sort of like, why are we doing this?

I wish obviously that Tory had come back for it would have been better.

I think they did a good job to make it believable why it wasn't Tory, So I guess it probably would have hurt me more if the last shot we ever saw of Tory Higginson was her floating in space.

That probably would have hurt a lot more.

That would have been Yeah, I kind of love the the offscreenness of it all.

With where he basically telling the production of themselves for screwing her around.

But just from a from a production point of view, I love the POV shots, like because they didn't have Tory and they had to go and we had to experience things that we was going through before she was put into friends body.

I thought the po stuff was shot really well, and you know, it was that heartbreaking sort of ending where to me anyway, and I think it's a choose your own adventure.

But for me, some people may go, oh, that wasn't really weird.

So and yeah, I do love the idea that you know, people have taken up with the books and made her, you know, a sand and then retake human form.

It can just be something contained like this, yeah.

And a lot of pressure, I guess, and someone like Rodney in that situation, like an SG one where they had that going on like you you've got Carter who's the genius, but Daniel might be there to decipher something and translate something or tilk maybe a little gulp and yeah.

Yeah right, and then Snap with Mattie number one, first Contact, Lost Tribe.

Yeah, great, great episode, double eerisode.

But yeah, I was I was concerned going into that episode.

I wasn't sure how you would deal because I think it was a little bit divisive at the time, the idea of bringing the ass Guard back after we'd sort of gotten rid of them at the end.

I loved it.

Yeah, I thought it was a really cool way to.

Bring them back as a as an adversary this time.

It would have been nice had the show gone on to see a bit more of that.

And I bought it too.

It wasn't just like them, oh, the ass Guard and now the bad guys, And I know I believe why these guys would have become the way that they makes.

Sense in the law.

You're in the same way that the goal of the Tokra split at a certain point, the Veneer and the ass Guard split at a certain point.

Yeah, all right.

Number six for me is tracker aris B two point zero.

I've just I loved that technology that he had on his wrists, the fact that Ronan couldn't track him and he was also a runner.

And then but he's trying to help the girls, who was willing to sacrifice himself to the moral play?

Yeah, I like I.

Just a few too many injured young girls in that episode for me, probably probably and yeah, something in Mitch and I spoke about during the episodes, it would have been nice.

I mean, they've had four seasons to do it is this is the first time they've explored the idea of another Runner, and like we wound out really early on they were able to Roddy was able to hack into the trackers that are in the Runners, and no point did we ever go and try and find because they said there's maybe only thirteen or fourteen Runners across the.

Roan.

You know how they do the Ronan episode every season if they're like, all right, we found another tracker.

Yeah, and the good ones should be hard to find, right, Yeah, it should be hard for.

Even the end of last season The Last Man, where Hologram Rodney was like telling the story of how everyone died and Ronan set up that little that little group of elite, you know, people imagine if he'd found a couple more runners, you know, and in the same way.

I mean, it could get a little gimmicky.

But if you think about it, Ronan as a Runner, the thing that's unique about him is he has the particle gun or the particle magnum whatever they call it, which we find out us from the Traveler species.

But then like this guy had his little thing that made him do something, and it's like you find another track that had another interesting bit of alien technology, or.

Yeah, you could make a cool Alpha team.

Yeah with all these cool imagine if one of them had the those those gauntlets from Upgrades.

Yeah, that kind of thing where they just had just like superhuman powers or whatever.

Yeah.

I like it.

Yeah, And yeah, I always liked the idea that this could have been Aris Bok.

Imagine if Aris Bok made it somehow to Pegasus, Yeah, and became a Runner.

That would have been cool.

That would have been cool anyway.

Number five Brainstorm had that pretty up there Freeze Lightning.

Number four Enemy at the Gate the finale.

Number three for me the Deadalus variations.

Yeah, solid, I love it.

It's just so good.

The only thing I've really disliked about it was slapping it into reverse.

I didn't mind.

Ye, I didn't mind.

Well, first of all, I loved the idea of an alternate reality drive whereas Maddie calls it a time machine.

Him like that.

Yeah, I mean yeah, the Puddle the time Puddle Jumper had an altered reality I've seen.

But yeah, I just didn't like McKay's explanation if he had have said, because you remember, it was John's idea to slap it in reverse, if he had a gone, I got an idea, I slap it in reverse.

And then John's like, that's my idea, and then Rodney's like, I have to think of like the opposite of me.

I'm like, just cut all of that.

Just have John be saying that was my idea and Rodney going, what's it?

That's the only him being really petty and just being like, I'm sorry, did you figure out how to turn into reverse?

Yeah?

Something like that.

Yeah.

The issue for me with that, and I spoke about it during the episode, was just the logistics in space of the fact that, like in the second or third last reality, we started the ship moving away from the planet to get away, but then when we get to like the second to last one, the three to O twos managed to come in from the front, so somehow they've managed to get ahead of us to come back and save us.

And I was like, that.

Doesn't really make sense, just the logistics in space or whatever.

They continue on if there's no side of a ship.

Yeah.

So there was just a few little hic.

But I guess they were trying to attack the bad guys, right, maybe they were already in a skirmish or something beforehand, or.

Well, no, we'd moved further away from the planet.

Yeah, so yeah, well somehow they managed to get ahead of the bad guys were chasing chasing us, and they somehow managed to get ahead of the bad guys ahead of us and then turn around to come back.

Yeah.

But again, it could be those we've spoke about it.

Yeah, for seasons and seasons, could be the CGI screwing the episode over.

It also could just be obviously, until the episode hit into production, that might have just been something that the writers hadn't thought about because they hadn't really thought about the spatial you know, awareness of everything.

So I think everything in that episode is really well explained and how they're going to get out of the next thing, the next thing.

It's very nippicky.

For like my issue with that number two for me, first Contact and the Lost Tribe.

I was really tossing it up between that and the first one for me, which is the Shrine.

I'm sorry, I think you I think you spelled Ghost of the Machine.

If you want to remind it where I got that at number fourteen.

At least it wasn't in the bottom three.

Yeah, because my whole thing with Ghosts of the Machine is I don't think that's weird.

But yeah, I was tossing up between First Contact and the Lost Tribe.

I think the only thing that it was missing for me is that Daniel Jackson is just the ultimate.

He has the ultimate knowledge of the ancients, and a lot of that episode he was relying on Rodney to tell him what was happening, Like we just spoke about in Serpent's Venom, he and Carter worked really well together, and yeah, Daniel would find out some whereas this.

I don't know if it was because he'd never written for Daniel in SG one.

Did he Oh that's a good call, it's your mate, Yeah.

I think he wrote maybe two or three SG one episodes in the in the late in the late season.

Yes, no early SG one episodes where Daniel and Carter worked very well together.

They found out how to get in contact with the Asgard the first time thawas Chariot.

They figured out Serpent's venom, how to get the ring, how to reprogram the mind.

So they're always working together.

My reply seems familiar, So I reckon, I have heard you say that to me, because my reaction goes to Adam McKay and Will Ferrell and they had like obviously did all of their shit together, you know, the director Adam McKay wrote.

And that's how I felt when I left the first I was just very fatigued.

And so yeah, there's only forty episodes.

Yeah, yeah, and we'll try and I there's and this is probably an off my conversation, but there there is a little ocdep part of me that if we can bine a couple of episodes, then the finale of Universe would be our three hundred and fiftieth episode.

And that just tickles something in my prostates.

Where like, we've committed to that, and so you've like, when done, your done, your calendar up, and what episodes can be joined together and have that effect?

Air and airport because some people have I've already seen written in and said do Airpart one is its own thing, and then two.

And three is another Yeah okay, yeah.

And the idea that we've committed to whatever schedule and then like six or seven weeks in prime come out and go bang, we're back February twenty two seven.

The idea that like you've done three fifty.

And then like, well we can already see that three fifty one to be the new show, so like we're not even you know, we don't if we didn't even need to in a.

Yeah, with the new showing, I'm a little I'm a little more lax on the whole three fifty because if if there was no New Stargate and we finished on three fifty and we did three and fifty episodes pos specials, I'd be very happy.

But wouldn't it be great if we finished sgu on three four nine and then three point fifty was the New Stargate.

I just liked the idea that, like you said, we're three hundred and at the moment, three hundred eleven commercials because you know me, I love my Phantom comics and like it might be issue two thousand and fourteen that's out, you know, and then it'll be like on the inside to go, this is actually the two thousand and thirty seventh issue because like way back when in the seventies and eighties, they would have issue eight ten and then issue eight ten A.

Well something we spoke about it a few months ago or maybe earlier this year, that anime show One Piece because it got its stample track while saying how like it's one of the longest running anime cartoons ever.

Yeah, they've just they've just decided they're going to wrap up the show after fifteen hundred episodes and then and the creators have gone, okay, so after episode fifteen hundred and fifty five, that's the end of season one.
