Found Out My Wife SECRETLY Gave Our House To Her BROTHER After I Spent YEARS Paying The Mortgage!

Episode Transcript

Speaker 1

Hey guys, welcome back to more ripe stories in this video.

Imagine spending years paying off your dream home, only to discover your wife secretly gave it to her brother.

But that is not even the worst part.

What I found on her phone that night changed everything.

Let's dive right into the relationship stories.

So I knew early on in my life that I was not going to be someone who would go to school, get a degree, and land the job.

I didn't like school very much, and I did not enjoy the idea of doing nine to five office work sitting in a chair all day, hardly moving around.

That is not my style.

So as soon as I graduated high school, I went to trade school for construction.

I gained a lot of knowledge for my craft while in trade school, but sometimes I feel like I'm missed out on what most people consider the average college experience, like going to fraternity parties, living in dorms, and the like.

I was a bit of an introvert to so I didn't talk much to the people who I met in class.

I ended trade school with most of my friends being from high school.

Eventually I made some good friends at the jobs I had, so that was nice, but being surrounded by a bunch of guys is not really the way to get a girlfriend, you know.

Again.

I didn't get to meet anyone at school, and though I had a high school sweetheart, we broke up because she went to a college halfway across the country.

I honestly thought I was gonna be by myself for the rest of my life, given my surroundings and my introverted nature.

I tried dating apps, but nothing really stuck with me.

Most were unhappy about the hours I had to work, and I just found that the dates on these apps didn't feel as authentic.

Soon I was heading into my mid thirties, single and living by myself in a dingy little apartment.

But then, by chance, I met my wife, Sarah, while on an outing with my construction friends.

We were eating at a restaurant when I saw a woman struggling with her baby.

She had a lot of stuff in her hand and her baby was fussaying, causing her to drop the bottle.

So I went ahead and picked it up for her and we got to talking.

I would spare you the details, but eventually we hit it off.

We dated for about eight months before I proposed and got married Another six months after that.

Of course, I tried to get us a house right away.

We needed a place to live as a married couple, after all, and she had a child.

I got a mortgage for our house, which was actually a pretty decent place in a nice neighborhood.

The mortgage was solely in my name, since I was the one with steady employment and good credit.

Sarah had some credit issues from her past and was not working full time while caring for her kid, Alexis, so it made sense to just put it in my name.

I never thought twice about it.

I mean, we were married, and what's mine was hers, right that trust came back to bite me, though I've worked for years paying off the mortgage and was finally able to do so about two years ago.

It was one of the proudest moments of my life, finally owning our home free and clear.

I am proud of this house.

It is absolutely beautiful, and it is where I raised my family.

I decided not to have any kids with her.

I was perfectly fine raising her daughter, Alexis as my own.

She is truly a wonderful kid, and I'm so glad that I've gotten to raise her.

So my wife as you read by the title, has a brother called Johnny.

I'm not a fan of him in the slightest, since he seems to like mooching off of his family.

He's a little younger than my wife, but is still single and still lives in their parents' basement.

I don't like him, but I tried to be courteous to him.

My wife knows that I dislike him, but she insists that her brother can do no wrong, and sometimes my criticism of him has gotten us into arguments.

So I've kept my criticisms to myself, but obviously I still really dislike him.

So when I found out that he was added onto our deed, I was furious.

It happened when I was meeting with our attorney to update our wills.

Alexis was eight now, and we wanted to make sure everything was in order if something happened to us.

My attorney suggested we review all our property documents while we were at it, just to make sure everything was current and correct.

My attorney was going through the property records when he stopped and looked at me with concern.

There's a quick claim detail from about eight months ago.

Adding your brother in law to your title.

Did you authorize this?

He asked.

I was completely confused.

What No, I never signed anything like that, he frowned, pulling up the document on his computer.

Well there's a signature here that's supposed to be us.

When did this happen?

It didn't, I said, getting increasingly worried.

Now I never authorized adding anyone to the deed.

The house was paid off in my name only.

My attorney's expression grew serious.

Then we have a problem.

If you didn't sign this, someone forged your signature on official documents.

That is fraud.

And what's more, this deed shows it was supposedly notarized.

Either someone forged the notary stem too, or they got a notary to witness it without you being present, which would be notary fraud as well.

We need to file a police report.

Immediately, I felt like the floor had dropped out from under me.

Someone had forged my signature, but who?

And then it hit me the only person who would benefit from adding Johnny to the deed would be Sarah.

But why?

When I got home that day, I couldn't wait any longer.

I confronted her about it right away.

Surprisingly, she admitted to it almost immediately, though she tried to make it sound like no big deal.

I asked why she didn't ask for my approval and why she wanted to transfer the deed to someone else in the first place.

She said it was just for tax purposes and that she didn't want to ask me about it because she knew I would say no since I disliked him so much.

And well, I just told her that it made no sense whatsoever.

Adding someone to a deed doesn't provide tax benefits.

Actually, it just gives them ownership rights to the house, which was my house, the house I paid for.

She got defensive, insisting that her brother told her it would help with the state planning.

That didn't make any sense either, since we are not elderly, and I literally just told her we were updating our wills for that exact purpose.

And by the way, guys, if your wife would sign up her entitled brother to the deed to the house that you were paying for, what would you have done in that situation?

Obviously that is definitely not okay, But I'm curious what you have to say, And please don't forget to like the video, since that would help me tremendously.

Anyway, While I was talking to her, I could tell she was getting increasingly annoyed at my inquiry, and I honestly didn't want to cause another fight, so I just left it be for the moment.

Although it was extremely annoyed, Honestly, I was more mad that she had lied to me and forged my signature.

Then it was about Johnny being on the deed at that point, but yes, I wanted to get rid of his name, but my attorney had told me that would take time and potentially a court order too.

I thought it would be the end of it for a while, but then I noticed that my wife began acting weird.

For one, she was being extremely shifty.

One example was her behavior regarding phones.

We actually had always been open about our phones and who we text, but she had become more protective of it and snapped at me when I tried bringing it up.

Two, she began acting distant and visiting her family more.

She always visited her family on the weekends, sometimes with me, sometimes without, depending on my work schedule.

However, I never thought anything more of it, since she loves her family, But she began going more frequently and almost every other day.

Combined with her strange behaved I began getting suspicious there too.

This went on for around two months, and I became incredibly suspicious.

I worried that she might have been cheating on me, but this had never been an issue before, so I didn't really know how to feel.

I kept telling myself that I was just being paranoid, and that maybe she was just stressed about getting caught with the d thing.

One night, she came back from her parents' house and I'd just gotten back from work.

She was in the shower and I was laying in bed.

Her phone started pinging like crazy, and out of curiosity, I looked over.

What I saw shocked me, and even thinking back on it, I'm still so taken aback.

The preview of the text on her log screen was from her brother, and it said something like cannot wait to see you again tomorrow.

Miss being alone with you today.

My stomach dropped.

I knew her password.

We'd always been open about that stuff, used each other's phones interchangeably, and had even set up each other's face ideas back up on our devices.

So I unlocked her phone and began looking through the messages.

I won't specify the exact explicit details of the text because they were deeply disturbed.

But the intimate nature of their messages made it immediately clear that my wife was having an affair.

The way they spoke to each other, the plans they made to meet up, the references to being together, it was unmistakable.

And what was worse, the contact was saved under her brother's name, Johnny.

I could not believe what I was seeing.

I kept scrolling, hoping maybe I was misunderstanding somehow, but it only got worse.

My wife had always told me that Alexis was the product of one of her past relationships, but from the texts between her and her brother, it was obvious enough that Johnny was Alexis father.

There were references to our daughter, discussions about how Alexis was looking more like him as she got older, arguments about whether they should tell her the truth someday.

I always thought she looked like him quite a bit, but I figured it was because he and Sarah were related.

But now I understood the horrible truth.

I looked through more of their messages and found out that this had been going on for years, obviously before I even met her, and that it was still continuing now.

That was why she visited her family so much it was to see her brother, to be with him in ways that made me physically sick to think about.

I was feeling so horrified that I just got up and left, going to a friend's house to stay the night.

I could not bear to share a bed with Sarah, knowing everything, Knowing that she had been cheating on me for years, despite me having raised her child and given her a beautiful home, a home that she gave away to her brother by forging my signature, and the fact that she was cheating on me with her brother, her own brother, the father of her child.

It was simply beyond anything I could even process.

Honestly, I didn't know what to do.

For a few days, I dwelt in my misery.

I even had to call off work because I was too numb to even get up.

My friend, whose couch I was crashing on, tried to help me, But what do you even say in a situation like that?

Eventually I realized I couldn't just hide forever.

I wanted to have some sort of victori against my wife and her brother.

I decided I would divorce my wife and expose them to the courts, which would hopefully grant me the house back and perhaps custody or at least guardianship of Alexis.

I didn't trust my wife for Johnny raising her, especially now knowing their relationship.

I was worried since I knew the courts tended to side with mothers, often for good reason, but I hoped that bias wouldn't completely destroy my case given the circumstances.

About a few weeks later, after gathering much needed evidence, screenshots, copies of the forged d records, of all her visits to her family, everything I could think of, I set my wife down and confronted her.

I told her that I knew about what she was doing with her brother and about Alexis, and that I wanted a divorce.

At first, my wife was shocked, snapping at me, telling me that I was sick in the head for even insinuating something like that, and damn guys, I gotta say, that is the Olympics.

Great gas lighting by the wife telling o Pie that he's the one that is sick in the head.

That is really the gas lighting Olympics.

She accused me of making things up because I was of her relationship with her family.

I let her go on her tirade, and then presented the evidence I had printed out, mostly consisting of screenshots from their text conversations.

She was already red with anger, but when I presented the evidence, she turned red with the shame of being caught, and then she started yelling at me again, switching the topic from her cheating to the fact that I was looking through her text messages.

She said I had violated her privacy and that I had no right, and that I was controlling an abusive for snooping around.

A screaming fest started, mostly with her trying to drown out my arguments and me trying to get her to calm down and be at least somewhat reasonable.

I was glad that I had chosen a time when my daughter was at school, because I knew the fight would get out of hand, and I didn't want her to hear something like that.

While we were arguing, I heard a key in the lock and the door opened.

It was Johnny.

My wife must have given him a key or something without telling me.

Just another betrayal.

I don't know why he was there at that exact moment, but I didn't know that my wife was planning to go shopping before he confronted her.

So maybe she had texted him to come over and I interrupted their little plans.

I feel gross just thinking about it.

Anyways, he saw that we were arguing and asked what was going on.

I yelt at him.

You sleeping with your own sister, That's what's going on, and she's been helping you steal my house.

He's a worse liar than my wife is, because the moment I said that, his face fell and it was plainly obvious that they were now caught.

He didn't even try to deny it, just stood there with his mouth open like a fish.

At this point, my wife finally quieted down, so I told her that I wanted a simple divorce with custody of Alexis and full ownership of the house returned to me, no arguments and no debates.

Either that or exposed their affair to everyone, their parents, their extended family, my lawyer, the courts, and everyone who knew them.

At that they went ballistic.

Johnny started screaming at me, calling me every name in the book, and then he started to attack me, throwing pictures of the Waltz and whatever he could find.

He grabbed a lo I am bent through it at my head.

I ducked and it shattered against the wall behind me.

He even tried swinging at me a few times, and one of his punches connected heart with my shoulder.

I tried to shield myself with my arm and felt something sharp slice across my forearm.

I managed to shove past him and get to the front door.

He was chasing after me, so I ran to my car and drove away before he could really hurt me.

And damn, guys, these people are really on drugs or something that is certainly not normal.

Either way, My shoulder was throbbing, and when I glanced down at my arm while driving, I could see blood seeping through my shirt sleeve, and immediately I called the police from my car.

I was shaking so badly I could barely hold the phone.

I reported Johnny for assault, telling them he had attacked me in my own home and that I had injuries to prove it.

I also mentioned that I believe that he and my wife were committing property fraud and provided info about that, stating that my attorney and I had discovered a forged deed that transferred my property without my knowledge or consent.

I filed a police report that even at the station, when I lifted my shirt, there was already a dark purple bruise forming on my shoulder from where his fist had connected.

I also had a cut of my forearm from when I shielded myself.

A piece of the broken lamp ceramic base had sliced me pretty good.

They took photos of all my injuries and documented the damage to my house from his rampage.

They took my statement and told me they would investigate.

Over the next few days, detectives investigated my claims.

They interviewed my attorney, reviewed the documents, and examined the evidence I'd collected.

They brought both Sarah and Johnny in for questioning separately, and the investigation also revealed that Sarah had gotten a friend who was a notary to witness the signing, but I had never been present myself.

The notary claimed that Sarah told her I'd already signed it and just needed it notarized, which was a lie.

The notary faced penalties too, for not following the proper procedure when confronted with the forgeddeed, My attorney's documentation proving I never signed it, and the text messages I provided showing their relationship.

They both eventually admitted to the fraud.

Sarah tried to claim she thought she was allowed to do it as my wife, but the detective told her that forging someone sick at your legal documents is a crime, regardless of marital status.

Within a week of my initial report, they were formally arrested and charged.

During all of this chaos, Alexis stayed with my friend's family, the same friend whose couch I crashed on.

I told her that mommy and I were dealing with some grown up problems and she would stay there for a little sleep over vacation.

Kids are resilient, but I hated lying to her, even if it was to protect her from an awful truth that she was not yet ready to handle.

In the end, Johnny was charged with assault and property fraud and Sarah was charged with property fraud and conspiracy.

Additionally, when the prosecutors learned about the nature of their relationship from the evidence I'd provided, they added charges for that too.

Incess is a felony in my state, so they both had that stacked on top of everything else.

They were both held in county jail while awaiting trial.

The evidence was overwhelming, the forged signatures, the text messages, the witness statements for my attorney and the notary, and Johnny's assault on me with photographic evidence of my injuries and the damage to my home.

Rather than face a trial where everything would come out publicly, they both ended up taking play deals.

Johnny got three years for assault and fraud combined, and Sarah got two years for fraud.

With the incest charges in my state being a felony, they each had additional time added to their sentences.

On top of that, they are serving their time now at separate state facilities.

I hope they have a long time to think about what they've done.

As for me, I divorced Sarah.

She signed the divorce papers while in County jail awaiting sentencing, and the divorce was finalized shortly after, and honestly it was a relief to have it over with the court.

Immediately removed Johnny from my property title and returned full ownership to me.

As for Alexis Well, the situation was complicated.

While I had raised her as my own for six years, I was not her biological or legal father.

I had never formally adopted her.

However, with both her biological parents facing prison time, Child Protective Services got involved pretty quickly.

Sarah's parents were elderly and could not take on raising a young child.

Johnny obviously couldn't take her from prison, and there were no other suitable family members who were willing or able, so I petitioned the court for guardianship.

Given alexis strong bond with me, I was the only real father she had ever known, and the lack of other options, plus Sarah's written consent from jail as she knew I'd cared for her daughter and would continue to do so, the process began.

After multiple home visits, background checks, interviews with Alexis teachers and pediatrician, and several court hearings, I was granted temporary legal guardianship while Sarah served her sentence.

The whole process took a few months and was emotionally exhausting, but I was relieved when it was finally approved.

I've since started formal adoption proceedings, and my attorney says I have a good chance since Sarah's parental rights could be terminated given the circumstances, and Johnny never had legal parental rights to begin with since he was not listed on the birth certificate.

It's going to be a long process, but I'm admitted to it.

But I didn't tell anything to Alexis yet.

Of course, she is way too young to understand something this complicated and disturbing, and right now she just knows that her mom had to go away for a while because she made some bad choices, and that she is gonna live with me for now.

Sometimes it's difficult to take care of her and know that she was the product of something so horrid, but she is still my daughter in every way that matters, and I would not want to treat her any differently than how I've been treating her for the past six years.

I hope when I eventually tell her the truth, and I know I will have to, someday she will come to understand and we'll learn to get over this hurdle together.

For now, I'm just focused on giving her a stable, loving home and being the dead she deserves.

The next one is a revenge story and it is titled I Got Revenge on my bully in school.

I was relentlessly bullied.

Two girls in particular headed out for me.

I was shy, loved to read, didn't do the popularst so I was the perfect victim.

They would literally torture me by holding me down in the staircase when we were alone, and sticking pinboard pins into my arms, legs, and feet.

When I tried to tell teachers, they said I fell onto them as they were lying on the floor, or I did it myself.

It didn't help that one of them was the daughter of one of the teachers at the school.

But well, I finally got my revenge.

I went to try out a new ice cream shop and lo and behold, one of the girls was serving the ice cream.

I got multiple allergies, including milk and gluten, of which the ice cream shop claimed to be cautious.

So I ordered gluten and dairy free ice cream and set my phone camera up to film the area where the ice cream was prepared because I saw that the girl had recognized me and was certain that she tries something, and well she did.

I caught her on camera putting a spoonful of milk in the bottom of the bowl and crumbling the gluten consisting wafers over everything and then camouflaging it with their last scoop of ice cream.

She put it down in front of me and said, I help you enjoy it.

I sweetly smiled at her and asked if she could get the owner of the shop because I wanted to thank her for being so welcoming to guests with allergies.

You can guess what happened next.

I showed the owner of the video and told her that I would like to press charges because in my country, it's considered a criminal offense called inflicting bodily harm to serve someone an allergen when you know the person is allergic.

The bully will never work anywhere else where, she will come in contact with food again, and she will have this on her criminal record.

Four years and the next one is another petty revenge story, but this one is titled calling her a fake quitting bluff.

So this happened years ago but still makes me smile.

I started working in a corporate office in a secretarial position for my first job after college.

There were two elderly ladies who were also secretaries working in the office.

One of them was just fine, but I spent most of my time sitting beside and working with Agnes.

Agnes was quickly approaching retirement age, but was not going anywhere without a big push.

This was in the days where we just started getting computers, and she was absolutely hopeless.

She would pull stuff like I cannot answer the phone, I'm on the computer.

Multitasking was not then this woman's repertoire.

She was super fussy and annoying, and if I ever came back from lunch five minutes late, she would exclaim loudly, oh my god, there you are.

I was wondering what happened to you, making sure the whole office knew that I was late.

Meanwhile, she was usually late coming in the morning and often left early for various appointments.

If I made a typo in a document, she would make sure the rest of the staff knew about it loudly.

She tended to pout when things didn't go her way, and she would quit her job when someone pissed her off, and then my boss's boss would talk her into staying.

I'd heard about this tactic of hers, and one day our boss did something that annoyed her and she quit again.

My boss's boss was away that day, so I had my chance.

I quickly advertised and planned a big retirement party for her.

It was a done deal by the end of the day.

People were dropping by and congratulating her, and everyone looked forward to the party.

At that point, I guess she figured it was too late to pull her usual shenanigans, and she actually retired.

I told my boss do not bother replacing her, because it was them easy to cover the little work she actually accomplished every day.

And yet, guys, thank you for watching.

I will see you again tomorrow.
