[SPEAKER_02]: Hello and welcome back to your one and only source where your hosts [SPEAKER_00]: My name is Phoenix.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my God.

[SPEAKER_00]: I almost immediately yand.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I didn't want to start off on that foot.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because I would have jumped through the computer screen and throttled you.

[SPEAKER_02]: My name's Caroline guys and you may have noticed.

[SPEAKER_02]: 2020 sex has been off like a little bit of a wonky start for us.

[SPEAKER_02]: So apologies for that.

[SPEAKER_02]: We just have been.

[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like through it, through lack of a better term, the past month.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's just been constant things being thrown at us, and so I feel like scheduling has been a little bit weird, but I promise you, we are getting back in the game.

[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to have an episode from us today, Tuesday, and also on Thursday, the [SPEAKER_02]: oh, nothing.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I was thinking so for these episodes, we're also still kind of like finding our footing and what exactly these Tuesday episodes are going to be like we're going to talk about pop culture of that time.

[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to talk about like certain things in the show, but I think we'll also talk about our lives a little bit and kind of use like this time to do that.

[SPEAKER_02]: Um, for those personal updates, if anyone's just feeding for them, you know, so I thought I could just start with like what's up and I'll tell you about me first because I'm going to freaking new Orleans this weekend and I've never been there.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know it's going to be so fun.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm really excited.

[SPEAKER_02]: We're going for Gibson's Bachelor Red.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be a freaking glass and a half.

[SPEAKER_02]: Can I tell you some of our our themes?

[SPEAKER_02]: What we're doing this weekend with some of the docket?

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so we get it on Friday and that night is twilight themed as I mean everybody knows that in every woman's bachelor app party you have a twilight themed night.

[SPEAKER_02]: So that's night one for us because it just seemed like the easiest possible way to break the ice, get everybody super bonded super quick, just getting but we are doing a twilight themed so everyone has to dress up like their favorite character from twilight and no I can't tell you who I'm dressing up as but you can [SPEAKER_02]: I know you know, but I know now.

[SPEAKER_02]: What would you guys?

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, who's the one with the super curly blonde hair?

[SPEAKER_00]: Super curly.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Rosalie, I guess.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's she's one of the other Victoria and it's red hair.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, who has long curly blonde hair?

[SPEAKER_00]: Rosalie.

[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe that's what maybe I can find it in my brain.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's Nicky Reed.

[SPEAKER_02]: Don't get Rosalie's.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, Rosalie's the one with who's with Emmett.

[SPEAKER_02]: My monkey, man.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's probably a good guess.

[SPEAKER_02]: Who would you be?

[SPEAKER_02]: Carlisle?

[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, I keep forgetting you're not like a twilight head, but I hate about you.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so I don't even know if like you know who car lielless.

[SPEAKER_02]: I do, I've seen the first movie.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's in maybe the second one.

[SPEAKER_02]: No moon, is that the second one?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's the second one.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think I've seen it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, now that you're into reading, now that you've brushed up your reading skills and you know how to do it again, let's get started on a Stephanie Myrtle.

[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, everybody, I did read 12 books last year.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, like why not 13?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's good.

[SPEAKER_02]: He's just getting, that's what I'm on.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's not bad.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I do.

[SPEAKER_02]: And that was my goal last.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: Then you did it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, do you need you to give you a high five?

[SPEAKER_02]: You have to say, you're like, you're acting like I didn't read anything last year.

[SPEAKER_02]: I read 12.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I think, well, it's because you famously are like, oh, you're like, I'm not reading hard enough.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not reading when I should be reading.

[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone is judging me because my good reads is an up to date.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's like all people think about right now.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not.

[SPEAKER_02]: This is sounds like I'm joking.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm literally not joking.

[SPEAKER_00]: You text it as yes or no, okay, so I've decided for what I did that's that's my that's my goal this year I think that sometimes I do but it's not because I like it's not because of what other people think and it's not Yeah, right of my good reads.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's it's it's right cuz I Don't like how I feel when I'm don't read But I need to I need to like build that muscle back up in a way that it's like I don't feel tortured when I do it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah [SPEAKER_00]: So I think if I am picking easier books to read for this first half of the year, the habit will be built and my brain will enjoy reading before bed so that when I decide to start I have to pick up the the books that I have been on my list and I do want to read but they're not necessarily books that you just like pick up when you haven't really been reading.

[SPEAKER_02]: I do feel that, like, although poignant and an important work, 1984 by George Orwell is not the book to, like, get back into reading.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's not maybe going to be the only, like, I can't put this thing down.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know.

[SPEAKER_00]: I learned about 20 pages into that one.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's what I got at least 20 pages in.

[SPEAKER_02]: And just remember, I did tell you to do animal farm instead, because it was less daunting.

[SPEAKER_02]: And you said, no.

[SPEAKER_02]: We're already bread animal farm.

[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't read 1984.

[SPEAKER_02]: I've had any way.

[SPEAKER_00]: Any thanks up as a bunch of animals Buns of animals and one's named Napoleon.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, the pig.

[SPEAKER_00]: I [SPEAKER_00]: I was just going to say, oh, I think I'm going to read and read the ones that I haven't read the Hunger Games books for the new Hunger Games, like when that book, because like I think that of Twilight.

[SPEAKER_00]: Eventually I'll get to them, but I just think I want to believe you.

[SPEAKER_02]: I have to strike all the irons, hop, because you're going to get mad at me for saying this, like, what if you lose your your drive?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: And now Carolians projecting.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not protecting him just saying like because Caroline famously and she says it about herself, you know, she reads like a hundred books and then she doesn't read for five years.

[SPEAKER_02]: So what, maybe like one year and not even, but I am currently in that phase.

[SPEAKER_02]: I've read like 10 books in the past, like Montau's, crazy how many books is Kelly read this year so far?

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, it's a good question.

[SPEAKER_00]: Probably a lot because you got a Kindle for Christmas.

[SPEAKER_00]: I like the concept that one of dad's new year's resolutions, like two years ago, was to read 52 books in a year, it's one a week.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the concept that Kelly, [SPEAKER_00]: Kelly could do a good read 52 books in a year before the first corner our dad does is epic.

[SPEAKER_02]: And now that I know that was his goal, it's mine.

[SPEAKER_02]: And now that I know that was his goal, one's I goal is 33.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm going to do it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then dad is going to participate in the discourse that was happening on Twitter a couple weeks ago where it's like you didn't read real books because they weren't about the pollution.

[SPEAKER_02]: So over that like that's a thing like and if you guys listen to our Thursday episode You will hear me talk about this, but like I just read a book that I felt like was more like I don't know it was like okay, I'll take a break from the M-Hen book.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm gonna take a break from the Emily Henry is even a real No, I still have I think two more that I can read I read four of them [SPEAKER_02]: And I love to happy place, which people were surprised by.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I think there's my favorite one.

[SPEAKER_02]: It really just reminded me of my college best friends.

[SPEAKER_02]: The premise of it is that, and it's going to be turned into a movie.

[SPEAKER_02]: But the premise of it is it's like a group of college best friends, a couple of them are dating, whatever.

[SPEAKER_02]: And they do like a trip every year.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, whether it's actually, yeah, and their lives are changing.

[SPEAKER_02]: And people are getting married.

[SPEAKER_02]: And having children, all kinds of things, [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, I just, I loved it, but I do just want to say to Emily Henry, I think that we should consider and I know the deals are done, but like, why are we immediately selling these all-ternet flicks?

[SPEAKER_00]: I know.

[SPEAKER_00]: I like, I feel like me, I saw how I was made again yesterday.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know you and Mom are supposed to see it today, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: And it was still, it was like a sold-out, and I know I sold out because I wanted to go look at my seat.

[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure no one's sitting by me.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sitting one person sitting in a row for four.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like certainly no one's gonna come sit up here.

[SPEAKER_00]: Every seat in my row filled.

[SPEAKER_00]: But thankfully I did a double feature, so I was 15 minutes early, it was the first one in the theater, so I moved into an empty seat.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh thank God, no that's- But I was like, are you kidding me?

[SPEAKER_00]: Are you freaking joshing?

[SPEAKER_00]: How do you feel comfortable sitting next to someone alone?

[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, but I had a similar experience to you with the first time you saw the house made.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I think I wasn't a theer of people who didn't know you didn't know the twist.

[SPEAKER_00]: And like, because it is like, I do think you can enjoy Amanda's life for its performance so much more if you realize that it's funny.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's like the exact way she says certain things when she, when she, when she, [SPEAKER_00]: the rose that milk out of the fridge and then they start crying on the floor and she stands up and she looks at melly it she goes you have completely ruined my day [SPEAKER_00]: She goes, she goes, you need to be, you really need to be more careful next time.

[SPEAKER_00]: This has completely ruined my day.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, she's hilarious.

[SPEAKER_00]: She is so good in that movie.

[SPEAKER_02]: It makes movies so much more enjoyable.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's two of the point that I'm like, what do you mean we're going to be making this second one and she won't be in it?

[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know about it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to enjoy the second one because it's going to be the Sydney Sweeney show, which has to be better be like I just finished that one.

[SPEAKER_00]: So like thinking about those characters the cast better be as good as this cast was sand Sydney.

[SPEAKER_00]: So like they need to like [SPEAKER_00]: white lotus this shit.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like stack each cast so that I want to come back because I know it's not going to be the same And I'm not situation in store in line and you need to you need to get me in here You need watching her again.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was like this is more painful than I remember Yeah, I know I just am not and mom was like remember when you guys were obsessed or Sidney Sweeney I was like no [SPEAKER_02]: We know where she was like, well, she had done you for yeah, and that was the reason she was kind of cool girl [SPEAKER_02]: We knew her from Handmaid's Tale, we knew her from Euphoria, and we were like, this girl's really talented.

[SPEAKER_02]: And like, pretty.

[SPEAKER_02]: And now it's not talented.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I think what's so weird about the housemate is like, I do still feel like there have been things that she has done since Euphoria, where I feel like her acting is still pretty good.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this just feels like, [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[SPEAKER_02]: How are you?

[SPEAKER_02]: Who is this person?

[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like anybody on planet Earth could have played this role.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I watched someone tell me they get, you know what I mean?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's, and I don't want to just diminish her down to that, but I do feel like that's.

[SPEAKER_02]: What happened there?

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: I would love it if freedom of fat and could just write another book where it's like maybe Millie and Nina team up and then it's like here because you know what I just found out what there is So the author of the gossip grocery area, Cecilia Vaughn, Zizagari, I think a size here name [SPEAKER_02]: She also wrote a book called Gossip Girl Psycho Killer, and it's about Serena, it's like an alternate timeline where Serena comes back from boarding school and kills everybody.

[SPEAKER_02]: So like, I have to get my hands on that and where is the show about that?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, that's true.

[SPEAKER_02]: And let's see, Paul, is it Paul Figue?

[SPEAKER_02]: How do you say his name?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get Paul Figue to direct it because that is a thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think it is a little favor.

[SPEAKER_02]: I love, he is a really good director.

[SPEAKER_02]: I just say what you're willing about the people that he puts in his movies, but they are fun and great.

[SPEAKER_00]: True Gov.

[SPEAKER_02]: See, they're really fun to go see.

[SPEAKER_02]: They feel like movies you want to go see in a theater.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I saw it again in that needle drop at the end.

[SPEAKER_02]: I see it for the third time with mom.

[SPEAKER_00]: And here's the thing, my worry with the if free to make fat and word every right or word to write a book where Nina comes back.

[SPEAKER_00]: The the best part of Amanda's performance was when she was being crazy.

[SPEAKER_00]: when she comes down stairs after they've had their affair and she has the blush and the sermon and they never mention it.

[SPEAKER_02]: She they never mentioned at the point that I'm like I hope everyone else is noticing our genius.

[SPEAKER_02]: It says that she just like, hmm, exactly.

[SPEAKER_00]: I really liked that.

[SPEAKER_00]: that part like those details that they kind of picked up on the from the book.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like Paul that's another thing he did really well.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's like he was able to expertly navigate like what was going to translate better than how it was written in the book.

[SPEAKER_00]: Right.

[SPEAKER_00]: Totally.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I saw that yesterday and I saw is this thing on which you got to go see.

[SPEAKER_00]: Really will aren't that Laura Dern directed by Bradley Cooper and he's in it, but I almost didn't even recognize him so it's not like if you're gonna bum me out.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, but it's also funny and it's heartwarming and it's it is sad, but it's not like I didn't come away from it like in a bad mood.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was like that I really enjoyed watching that and will it was cool to see will aren't it.

[SPEAKER_00]: not be like fully a goofball like it's like it was and Laura Dern was extraordinary of course actually such a good actress and she's such a comforting and I kind of like seen her in a role where she's not like there's more like not I don't know how to put this in a way that makes sense but like she [SPEAKER_00]: She's a comfort character, or she's a comfort actor, but the character isn't like, there's still like something interesting happy name with the character that isn't like a marmy, or like she's not playing like a mall.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Renata is completely different.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a can be a performance either.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like, anyway, she's so good and I'm not gonna spoil who is in it at one point, but there was a moment where I was like, what?

[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_00]: Captain Cohen?

[SPEAKER_00]: No, that wouldn't have made me react the way that I, but it's also, it was a cool, an Amy sederous isn't it?

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, it was a cool, insight also, and to like, and obviously, you know, it's our completely realistic.

[SPEAKER_00]: There were a lot of letter box reviews that were like, that is just not how the comedy scene is.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you don't like get XYZ from doing it for two weeks as a hobby.

[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly, but it was cool to see comedians like have a perspective and like talk about that scene and coming up Yeah, like there are there are nights where if they have a joke They want to work through they'll go to five different open mic nights.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and and do it He loves it, but will are not Bradley Cooper and I think the guy from Will and Grace Sean Hayes [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm leaving.

[SPEAKER_00]: Sean Hayes was in it, but he's not the person I was thinking that helped them write it.

[SPEAKER_00]: But three of them wrote it together.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was really good.

[SPEAKER_00]: I really enjoyed it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was worried.

[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't going to live up to my expectations.

[SPEAKER_00]: And it did.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I had a perfect double feature yesterday.

[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_00]: So that's all right.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then saw a house made.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, well, that sounds like a good day.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was going to go see a movie last night.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, I don't want to see this primate movie, and there's just not really that much that I want to see.

[SPEAKER_02]: I probably will see it.

[SPEAKER_02]: You what?

[SPEAKER_02]: It will be seen primate if I can see it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I, it's not like speaking to me, but I know that I'll see it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, the point of all this is I need you to read the Twilight books.

[SPEAKER_02]: I really think that you will like them And they're a really good way to get back into reading.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm telling you they're easy reads and they will suck you in and you will like [SPEAKER_02]: Get that feeling of like I can't I need this.

[SPEAKER_02]: I can book now like you will feel like that I'm telling you I can remember in my bones how I felt the first time I heard them and I was in middle school Not kidding you like I started reading an eighth grade and I remember being on the floor and Connecticut visiting liney Reading a clips and being like upset like my stomach hurt because I Like had finished the book and I didn't have the next one like and I was like so sad it was over [SPEAKER_02]: And I just think that if you want a book that's like, I'm just taking the pressure off myself and I want to get the muscles moving.

[SPEAKER_02]: Fucking start twilight.

[SPEAKER_02]: Don't be intimidated by the size.

[SPEAKER_02]: Don't be intimidated by the preconceived notions.

[SPEAKER_02]: Just do it.

[SPEAKER_02]: And that's a lesson for all of you.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm saying it to all of you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Read it before you read Hunger Games.

[SPEAKER_02]: Just read twilight.

[SPEAKER_02]: You don't read all of them.

[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to finish the whole series.

[SPEAKER_02]: But read twilight.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right now I'm reading the people we meet on vacation.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, when you finish that.

[SPEAKER_00]: You get through this, and then we'll pivot.

[SPEAKER_02]: I watch people we meet on vacation last night.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was cute.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was, I mean, it was a fun, rom-com, I do feel it would be great.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was catering on the big screen.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I do think also though, unfortunately, we're entering a, you know, reality, we're Netflix is just the behemoth.

[SPEAKER_02]: And they, it feels like they have a monopoly on almost everything.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it's not a really good thing.

[SPEAKER_02]: And since I mean, can't always blame these people for doing it because it's like, a lot of money.

[SPEAKER_02]: They are going to have the highest bid time and time again.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's really like a crazy thing Anyhoo, okay night to a New Orleans is like our witchy night, but also like a little bit more upscale I'm going to a burlesque show The giant guys should all dress like they do and coven as they walk [SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's kind of is the, is the end spell of the, you know, I mean, like the moonboard.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's kind of the vibe.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then on Sunday, so what's funny is the bride, her 30th birthday is the day that we leave.

[SPEAKER_02]: So we're also going to do the birthday party on the Sunday night, which will be really fun.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's going to be great.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm really excited.

[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm really sad because I didn't get to go to the last one.

[SPEAKER_02]: So like, I'm just excited to make a Mems new Mems with my friends and it's going to be great.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then her wedding is in April and Charleston and Steven's going to be there and Kelly's going to be there.

[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to get near B and B and it's going to be so fun anyway.

[SPEAKER_02]: So that's coming up this weekend.

[SPEAKER_02]: Something I did want to talk about, um, fuck what I said, where is it?

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay, a couple things.

[SPEAKER_02]: Number one, is that Kristen Stewart also said she would be really excited to do a Twilight remake.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought of it.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's a good day.

[SPEAKER_02]: Raisy and she would want to direct it.

[SPEAKER_02]: And she was like, I think if it was something fun.

[SPEAKER_02]: The budget and the love, like she, I was like, oh my god, that's gonna happen.

[SPEAKER_02]: Now that she said that, that is going to happen.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think Robert Patton's gonna do it too, 100%.

[SPEAKER_02]: 100%, I think he would do it.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's so refreshing when you hear people talk about projects like that and that way especially those two like because you wouldn't expect it They dated like yeah, but I do feel like they both really have reverence for that part of their life I don't think obviously it took space They needed to let it breathe, but I do think like they've come back around Yeah, I just Which I just like I've got so many as much as I present it [SPEAKER_02]: As much as I love Blair Waldorf, and I think I love Layton Meester, but I really don't know that much about her as a person.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think she's pretty private.

[SPEAKER_02]: But everything I hear about her is how not excited she is to talk about gossip girl, how she wouldn't want to go back to all these things.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm just like, what happened on that set that makes you talk about like this?

[SPEAKER_02]: And like, [SPEAKER_02]: not have the reverence for what it was, you know what I'm kind of like, I hate to sell this way, but like the life that it gave you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, and I think she like acknowledges that, but it also just though even just in like the way that she speaks about it, it's like it is even though she might be saying that she's like grateful to it.

[SPEAKER_02]: the way she's delivering that line gives her a way that I don't think she really, like, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, I think it would be so cool.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so that was, that was a lot of thing.

[SPEAKER_02]: But in 2026, I decided that I would like to conquer my fear of flying.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm going to be going on some big long international flights and I cannot be scared of it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I just can't be.

[SPEAKER_02]: So [SPEAKER_02]: And the last fight I was on was a Delta flight and I, did I talk about this at all on here?

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think I did.

[SPEAKER_02]: I literally, okay, I was flying back from Vegas.

[SPEAKER_02]: I had two Delta flights.

[SPEAKER_02]: The first one I get on.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a three hour flight.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm in a middle seat.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm alone.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm also sick as fuck.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, this is my hell.

[SPEAKER_02]: This is going to be horrible.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's a long flight.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, oh my God.

[SPEAKER_02]: For me, that's a long flight.

[SPEAKER_02]: I go in.

[SPEAKER_02]: First of all, the seats are so much more comfortable than the seats that I'm used to on like Southwest United, whatever.

[SPEAKER_02]: The TV is obviously in all the seats and I was able to like watch literally like I could stream gossip girl on it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I could watch like whatever I want.

[SPEAKER_02]: You can see how much longer is left in your flight.

[SPEAKER_02]: You can look at the menu.

[SPEAKER_02]: They have all kinds of fun snacks.

[SPEAKER_02]: I got two free glasses of wine on these flights.

[SPEAKER_02]: But the most important thing is that the pilot comes on the intercom, and he's like, this is going to be a bumpy ride.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was just like, fuck my life.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm going to freak out.

[SPEAKER_02]: And every time that there was turbulence, it literally felt as though there was like some kind of buffer between like the plane and me.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like it felt like like I wasn't being like shaken up in my seat.

[SPEAKER_02]: It felt like there was turbulence.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was aware of, but it like, [SPEAKER_02]: Whether the plane was engineered a different wear whatever like I didn't move as much and I wasn't a scare to the point that I literally left And I was like, do they make there?

[SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to ask the pilot.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, do you like make the is the plane constructed differently than other planes like literally that's how much I know this day [SPEAKER_02]: Second flight I went on, also Delta, same experience, like it was just really a good flight.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, okay, when I was booking my flight to New Orleans, I was like, it's a little bit more expensive, but like, I'm gonna be flying alone, it's a long flight.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I know that this was like a positive flying experience for me.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think I just need to like, [SPEAKER_02]: Swallow it and do it again.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know that that worked for me.

[SPEAKER_00]: You should suddenly choose your seat.

[SPEAKER_00]: What?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you're going to have to on Southwest soon anyway, so that's not really you.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know.

[SPEAKER_00]: Which I think Southwest is going to regret.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's your experience of flying Southwest is not good enough for it.

[SPEAKER_00]: How did you don't stay back?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you don't get in that way.

[SPEAKER_00]: Look for you guys.

[SPEAKER_00]: Those are the things that set you apart that and you're like quirky hospitality vibe.

[SPEAKER_00]: Those which doesn't really exist anymore.

[SPEAKER_00]: So don't worry.

[SPEAKER_00]: Don't worry.

[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Take away the things that to me are the reason that I like other than convenience because it's what I've always flown right those are the things that stick out to me as reasons I would want to fly there but you can hook up your Starbucks app To Delta and I think we'll like combine it'll let it does something with your points.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, because I was like, you know what, I was tempted to do Southwest because I do have even part of like a partial flight voucher on Southwest.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I was like, I could use this with the flights were like really expensive anyway, so it's like it's not making like an introduce that for when you have a good like a flight that I was thinking I was like, I'll have a cheaper flight and I just use it on that.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I was like, I have these like points on Southwest, but like, I want to have points on Delta.

[SPEAKER_02]: So it was like, I'm gonna just, you know, do this, whatever.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm flying Delta.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, very, I like feel so much better.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have a sense of dread coursing through me.

[SPEAKER_02]: I got one of those like air things where you can connect your Bluetooth speakers to the thing because like the last time it didn't really work for me.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I did have to use their headphones, which was fine.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I would prefer to use my own.

[SPEAKER_02]: I've caught my meds taking care of.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so if anyone has any trips for or any tips for conquering your fear of flying especially on like long flights, would love it.

[SPEAKER_02]: When Anthony is there, it's a little better for me, but like when I'm alone, I really.

[SPEAKER_02]: freak and I just am tired of this being my reality like I just can't have this anymore.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to have to be on flights and I don't want to be scared of them and like it just got so bad last year.

[SPEAKER_02]: I can't do it again.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like I can't dread travel this way.

[SPEAKER_02]: So that's an elicent and the last thing I wanted to say is that I was watching [SPEAKER_02]: What was I watching?

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, oh, no.

[SPEAKER_02]: I have a couple.

[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry.

[SPEAKER_02]: I've got more things.

[SPEAKER_02]: Have you ever watched?

[SPEAKER_02]: Tell me lies.

[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, holy shit.

[SPEAKER_02]: Chloe was like, what do you mean?

[SPEAKER_02]: You didn't watch?

[SPEAKER_02]: Tell me lies.

[SPEAKER_02]: What?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you have to.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I started it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Um, devoured it, devoured the two seasons and like a millisecond it feels like, um, injected in my veins new season coming on the 13th.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god today.

[SPEAKER_02]: If you're listening on Tuesday.

[SPEAKER_02]: Holy shit Grace van Patton.

[SPEAKER_02]: He's so good at acting.

[SPEAKER_00]: She was the girl that was in the, Amanda, no, she was a man's an ox.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_02]: She is so good.

[SPEAKER_02]: She is so good.

[SPEAKER_02]: There is so much sex.

[SPEAKER_02]: So if you're absolutely living for she did rivalry and all the softcore porn or hardcore porn we're getting there, then you will also love tell me lies because you've got a lot of it there too, although it isn't usually male gay sex, but you do get a lot of sex.

[SPEAKER_02]: The storylines, I, but guys I was watching it and like in the first couple episodes, I wasn't really sure.

[SPEAKER_02]: kind of spoilers for Tommy Lies.

[SPEAKER_02]: If Lucy Graceman Patton's character was like because she's like the main character She's supposed to be kind of the protagonist, which is like objectively a bad person and that becomes a lot more clear as the show goes on and it's like Okay, no one is supposed to think she's good, but in the beginning I was like [SPEAKER_02]: This girl is a massive problem.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like she needs to be rehomed.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like she needs to be taken out of this college campus.

[SPEAKER_02]: She should not be unleashed in a college campus and then I realized she acts like a lot of college freshman girls.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it's the craziest show.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm obsessed with it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I've never seen such an insane, like, you think the relationships and gossip girl are toxic, holy fuck.

[SPEAKER_02]: Phoebe, you need to watch it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't felt this passionately about a show in like a minute.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: So good.

[SPEAKER_02]: You will...

[SPEAKER_00]: you will go feral for it you specifically will love it it's crazy you can't imagine you can't imagine yeah i'll do that instead of doing and i know that i just want you that i was rewatching pretty little iris with breaking but i did say while we were watching it [SPEAKER_00]: and you're gonna wanna die when I say this.

[SPEAKER_00]: Probably.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's, I think it's due time for one of my own, just organic, Phoebe only rewatches of pretty little iris.

[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, what?

[SPEAKER_02]: So you're already rewatching it and you're gonna start rewatching it on your own.

[SPEAKER_02]: So you're gonna have two rewatches going of the same show?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Phoebe, no.

[SPEAKER_02]: Phoebe, I'm putting a box on that.

[SPEAKER_02]: I am putting my foot down and I just love having it on.

[SPEAKER_02]: Get over that.

[SPEAKER_00]: And here's the thing, [SPEAKER_00]: I'm happy we're doing gossip girl.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be great.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is I'm having growing pains with it and I think because it's not my show and not that it's not it's not my show but like I don't feel the kinship to these characters that I did and also I think it's hard to remember how we felt when we first started about like but I did like I was watching it and I was like I just like miss my girls.

[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I got this, I do miss my girls.

[SPEAKER_02]: I miss Hannah.

[SPEAKER_02]: I miss Hannah.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think that you will start to feel like that, though, because I relate, I didn't have like growing pains, obviously, because it was our first podcast, but I wasn't like immediately like, I love these girls, these are my girls.

[SPEAKER_02]: and certainly the way that I felt about it changed so much throughout the course of the show that by the end of it like I was like fatigued a little bit but I was also like these are my girls like my love for Hannah was so real.

[SPEAKER_02]: I do feel like you're gonna get there with it but it might take a minute.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's okay but you still love it right?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: I do.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think these characters are as likable as the liars, other than the liars are famously incredibly likable.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, other than Arya, they're all relatively likable.

[SPEAKER_00]: And redeemable.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Serena, unlikable, Chuck, unlikable.

[SPEAKER_00]: They are unlikable.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jenny will be unlikable.

[SPEAKER_00]: Blair level.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Blair and Lily.

[SPEAKER_00]: There are the redeeming qualities of the show.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you look.

[SPEAKER_02]: Not as a show.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean character-wise.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm just dressing me up.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, Georgina will be here soon and then you'll feel fine.

[SPEAKER_02]: I got it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: Just so just chill out.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, I know what you're saying, but I do want to tell me lies to replace that because it'll be quick and everyone's about to be talking about it because the third season is coming out and just I mean, I always see it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's on the list.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's on who I can't live.

[SPEAKER_00]: It took me so long.

[SPEAKER_00]: So for me, I feel sometimes on my team because I can't I use Mom and Dad's who Lu wish because it's live.

[SPEAKER_00]: I can't have it actually on my TV.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: So sometimes stuff on who Lu will get like I put it on the back burner because I don't want to.

[SPEAKER_00]: I have to do the HDMI cord and everything.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've been watching on my iPad.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm dead with the way you went.

[SPEAKER_02]: Last time I got out of the gate right, I've been watching it on my iPad, not kidding.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because Caroline needed to feel like she was in a virtual reality in the room having sex with these people.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying like, I'm an iPad kid, yes, but I don't really use my iPad for watch.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have me.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have an iPad.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know, but that's something you could watch on your laptop, and it would still be enjoyable to you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Go curl up in your bed, put it on your laptop, start watching it.

[SPEAKER_02]: You'll be addicted fast, fast, I promise you.

[SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe it took me this long and I am just obsessed and the last thing I need to say and I don't know what sparked me thinking this That I needed to talk about this.

[SPEAKER_02]: I Really do not oh How could I forgot this weekend I saw the cabaret at my own a modern high school and Anthony and I go together and he goes wow [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you guys were really, really walking through your hollowed halls for sure.

[SPEAKER_02]: We were in the room where it happened.

[SPEAKER_02]: It happened being our first kiss.

[SPEAKER_02]: Um, we were just like, okay, so like, the, the years change, but theater gets dull.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, okay, there's still a kid wearing a sparkly fidora.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's like, I can still see, like, at the, the studio types.

[SPEAKER_02]: How fun is there?

[SPEAKER_00]: In the family group chat, the picture of Lisa Runa.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so good.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, I mean, okay, I wasn't God.

[SPEAKER_00]: Traders, Lisa went on on Traders.

[SPEAKER_00]: Guys, I said in the group, I sent the picture of Lisa really had a massive, and when, like, massive, double it by 100, what your picture in massive, phase with animal print.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, specifically leopard and cheater print.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so, [SPEAKER_00]: I sent that picture of Lisa in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in her, in [SPEAKER_00]: So I'll give her like this just seems like it works.

[SPEAKER_00]: I did.

[SPEAKER_00]: I texted Jules and G.C.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was because they were a little bit ahead of me, and I was watching it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, I do have to just say before I found out who the traders were.

[SPEAKER_00]: There was like in getting a little bit nervous that the only footage we have in the previews of Lisa is her and her day one outfit.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I think that was the best.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was getting nervous.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think they want people to think, well, and everyone, but like, [SPEAKER_02]: They want people to think I also was like, what is it going to be like with Lisa and Dorenda like we've kind of got to And I love that they're loving each other Dorenda is crocking me up when she comes into the room and starts like crying tearing up and ever And starts applauding and she's the only person to walk on the inside of the table rather than the outside.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, of course Like and she learned what she learned from her last season selfie [SPEAKER_00]: her love she's in portrait that shows her pose like shower Harvey in season.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh my god, the show was so fucking good.

[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, we'll talk more about traders on their time, but um, no, I just I was like sitting in that room watching all the theater kids having the time of their lives.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I remembered a time that mom really like thought this outfit was gonna eat on me like we went to American [SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah, she got me one of those like two two skirts that was like really in you know what I mean it was like a looser version of like a two two Mm-hmm and then she got me this red like velvet skirt to go over it and and like then I wore like a black shirt with it And I remember feeling super cute because it really made my waist look small because the skirt was like I was wearing like a full like hoop skirt just Well and this happened to be the day that we were learning how to do old age makeup and theater class [SPEAKER_02]: And I had oldie.

[SPEAKER_02]: I had a theater like seventh period.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so I go down and like I was a girl.

[SPEAKER_02]: I say guys and guys I'll just out of sleep at home.

[SPEAKER_02]: I can go.

[SPEAKER_02]: I page that's what the that's how the story ends.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I was about to say.

[SPEAKER_02]: You just took the bun flying of the joke.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm in there to my old age makeup and I'm like, I'm leaving this on.

[SPEAKER_02]: On the day I'm wearing a full hoop skirt school and I walked to my English class where I Loki had a crush on my teacher and also a boy in the class I was like talking to.

[SPEAKER_01]: Why were you doing?

[SPEAKER_01]: What?

[SPEAKER_01]: What did I do that?

[SPEAKER_01]: And I walked through the halls.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like people saw me walking and they couldn't miss me again.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hoops, skirt.

[SPEAKER_00]: So if you guys had any doubt about like if you guys were like, well, Caroline just seemed so cool in high school.

[SPEAKER_00]: She was but she also had [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like, that's the crazy part like I was like, there are so many memories I have in my school that I don't align with that person.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?

[SPEAKER_00]: Caroline is a Rachel Barry.

[SPEAKER_00]: You are a let me think about this.

[SPEAKER_00]: You are a Quinn for [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, the Holy Trinity.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, what more can a girl ask for?

[SPEAKER_02]: Literally.

[SPEAKER_02]: Thank God.

[SPEAKER_02]: I love that.

[SPEAKER_02]: I love that.

[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yes, correct.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: I am just like, why?

[SPEAKER_02]: What were people thinking as I'm walking down the halls and you actually want to jump everything.

[SPEAKER_00]: Looking like an old woman.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're wearing a, you know what I'm so all you started about and think about the people who like in no universe is there any class in that building at any given time they would imagine do let's teach the kids how to do old age make up so like imagine someone who like barely knows you just seeing you and be like.

[SPEAKER_01]: Why is there a little lady?

[SPEAKER_01]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_00]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_00]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_00]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_00]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_00]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_01]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_00]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: She's a little lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: I also remember my crush saying like what is on what it is that.

[SPEAKER_02]: I said next to him and this was in the time when like we weren't like fully taught we're like texting but like we weren't like I was like I'm going to make him like me but he hasn't figured out that he likes me and I did this.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, that is just not obsessive of the characters who don't have good or bad, like why did I I thought it would be hilarious like a child or no like what the fuck was I thinking and I just like as I was watching those kids I was just like God I Really did that and that is a regret I have okay fine.

[SPEAKER_02]: That is one day in high school that I Found the one regret you're welcome you guys I'm begging me to announce one single regret and I found it and not see only one and don't try to get me to find another one [SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, I just need to say that on air, okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: The people need to hear the story and know the truth about me I know the truth about me, but now we can talk about it.

[SPEAKER_00]: We'll wait [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so it's it's two savoros named to this, which means Caroline is either living in a good or bad household and I'm either true I'm I am like having to say will myself out of my bad on to the line and here's what I say here's how I described this today okay Sunday feels like Christmas Eve on a year [SPEAKER_00]: where there's a really good possibility you're on the naughty list, but you're still really excited at the possibility that maybe you made the nice list?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but you are like going to bed with when I open like there is a big possibility I'm getting cool in my stock tomorrow.

[SPEAKER_02]: 100%, I, I guess we're playing with the viewers game, by the way.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, they made the playoffs, you guys.

[SPEAKER_02]: The thing is, like, I'm not even, you know, a huge sports fan.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know it's a surprise.

[SPEAKER_02]: But my husband is, not like Phoebe said, it'll either be a good house or a bad house tomorrow on Tuesday.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I really like get so like I also feel like it's Christmas Eve.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm really excited for this healer's game tomorrow Hmm, but I'm also so scared.

[SPEAKER_00]: I do feel like in your inputsburg, so you can probably test this more do like I'm to the grocery store last night I like you feel it was like the energy energy is very different for this playoff game than it has been [SPEAKER_02]: Do you want to know what was playing on a loop in the grocery store?

[SPEAKER_02]: Here we go.

[SPEAKER_02]: Feelers?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not kidding you.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm walking up and I was like, is it car playing?

[SPEAKER_02]: No.

[SPEAKER_02]: That is the honest loop.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is the easiest.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's the best way to figure out really how the Pittsburgh accent feels in your mouth.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: You just sing like the man who sings those verses.

[SPEAKER_00]: Aaron Rod, I can't do it actually.

[SPEAKER_00]: I can do it perfectly in my brain.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, let's just keep workshopping.

[SPEAKER_00]: I keep trying out.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, right now, I'm hearing this way.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I just, I just, it feels, it feels like we could really do it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm scared like even say that I'll loud.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm even scared to say we made the playoffs.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know we did, but I'm like, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I mean, in that game, I, so like, I always like will have it on, like, okay, here's it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I better be free if there's this healer's game, but Anthony can do whatever he wants.

[SPEAKER_02]: So, I didn't make any plans and he went out.

[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so I'm at home, like, close you going to shooters again tomorrow.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, we're watching it here.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was cleaning the house and I was like, okay, let's see, like, the easy other thing about football though is like, I really have a hard time watching it and not thinking that I'm responsible for everything that happens good or bad.

[SPEAKER_02]: So like, you know what I mean?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I was like, okay, I'm going to go watch the dishes and like have the game on in the other week.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, I know exactly what you mean.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm going to see a lot of shit and something good happens.

[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was like in.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I'm going back.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm now I'm going upstairs.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna do whatever.

[SPEAKER_02]: Then I come down Ravens rap.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, oh, okay, maybe I said watch.

[SPEAKER_02]: And for a second.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then I'm watching.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, I mean, when I can't the kick stewed like, okay, and here's what I said.

[SPEAKER_02]: I can't have the knee about football two things.

[SPEAKER_02]: Number one, I said this a couple weeks ago.

[SPEAKER_02]: I just think this sounds evil.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think if you're the kicker, you should not be a lot of mess.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you're fired, if you're mess, do you want to feel better about Boswell's missed kick?

[SPEAKER_00]: that was blocked.

[SPEAKER_00]: So that was on R.

It wasn't on Boswell.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was really more on.

[SPEAKER_00]: are our special teams because the Ravens were able to reach up and tip it, whereas the Ravens he just fucking missed.

[SPEAKER_00]: We'll also, I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_00]: I felt so bad for that kid.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.

[SPEAKER_00]: So what did you see, Boswell went up to him at the end of the game?

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's really sweet because I, but if I was that kicker who missed it, I'd say get out of my fucking face because he just missed that kick.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to talk about it.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's so nice of Oslo to go to him.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I was like, I feel sick for that kid.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he's a rookie, but he was a little cocky before that.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, before he went to go do it, he was like, on this hand.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, yeah, yeah, like, put me in the game.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, fuck you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he was like, oh, but I was kind of like, that's me.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I still feel really bad because the second had happened.

[SPEAKER_02]: He's a cry.

[SPEAKER_02]: And he put his hand though and I got no, I can't actually can't think about it makes me feel sick, but Anyway, another thing I want to say it, so that's the first thing is they don't think you should be allowed to mess up your kicker I think it's so crazy you have one job like it's not that hard.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't need to do it so my job though [SPEAKER_02]: If there's like, you know how hard it is, I was like, I don't need to.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm just like, I don't need to know how hard it is to be like, working on a point of $100 million.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, if I'm working on an oil rig, yeah, I would know how hard it is.

[SPEAKER_02]: But that's not my calling.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's not my job.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't need to know.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, just same with this.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, I just feel like I've like, I know there's an like, pause, well, hasn't missed you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I think I've seen a miss like kind of a lot.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, so that's what Adam Crowley's been saying on the really?

[SPEAKER_01]: Really?

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, Adam, I see what you're seeing.

[SPEAKER_02]: other team is like getting attached down.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, why did, why did the defense stop running?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, don't slow it out.

[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, on her last game, I know when they kept throwing balls into the middle of the field and I'm like, wait, are the Steelers even on the field?

[SPEAKER_00]: The Steelers playing?

[SPEAKER_00]: We know.

[SPEAKER_00]: Is there another team out here?

[SPEAKER_00]: No, literally I was like who are we throwing the ball to?

[SPEAKER_02]: We're just throwing it really neatly and hoping it ends up somewhere like, are we crazy?

[SPEAKER_00]: But also I'm saying when the ravens would throw it and then there wouldn't be any Steelers defense even I also without you're talking about when Aaron Rodgers would throw the ball and no one and it was just hit the ground [SPEAKER_00]: Well, and where was anybody in the world he like he gets so mad and it's like I can tell either He's trying to pretend like that wasn't his fault or someone did genuine They get the play and he's me and me and me and me always say I do not want to be that team if I fucked up at half time and I don't I'm not even worried about Mike Tom and I'm worried about going into that locker room [SPEAKER_02]: He's just see thing every time I see me on the time and she's like, are you fucking kidding me like I'm like as he hate his life And then he's like, thank you for bringing me here and I'm like, what but anyway There were just so much like a ravens player is like running into the end zone making a touch on it's like I know that like you think they're definitely gonna make that hot shambal What up this lip or what if like you just had a little bit more juice in you and you could just run a little bit and grab them like [SPEAKER_02]: I-I'm saying is like everybody's gone through.

[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's giving up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's like, everybody's like, everybody's like, everybody's gone through.

[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's giving up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's like, everybody's like, who do we replace him with?

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I think they found our hair.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's hilarious.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're right.

[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of cracked the code on it like you and Aaron Rogers I'm like seen up the team together.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like hey, what was that?

[SPEAKER_00]: Why do you so I did you slow down?

[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know what it was like that was the deal.

[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know what the kick fire Hey, I heard you're fine.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're firing people on the side and then like the owners are having to be on the side And they're like here [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, you just has to do it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Look at that.

[SPEAKER_00]: You are.

[SPEAKER_00]: Don't worry about my authority.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're fired.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to kick that off.

[SPEAKER_02]: Go home.

[SPEAKER_02]: I can't get it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I miss.

[SPEAKER_02]: I completely actually don't even kick the ball.

[SPEAKER_02]: I can kick the grass.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, sorry.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's not supposed to be my job.

[SPEAKER_02]: I can't help.

[SPEAKER_02]: I got thrown in here because my kicker missed one, which isn't allowed.

[SPEAKER_02]: This is supposed to be my job.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's supposed to coach.

[SPEAKER_02]: And those who can't do teach.

[SPEAKER_02]: And those who can't teach teach gym.

[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, I was who can't teach Jim coach professional ball.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just like, but yeah, don't you agree?

[SPEAKER_02]: But Anthony, agree with me about the, like, don't slow down.

[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_02]: I agree.

[SPEAKER_00]: I need how it's called, it's called, it's called giving up.

[SPEAKER_00]: We turbo charged tomorrow.

[SPEAKER_00]: Anthony goes, we're getting snow.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to call it front.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is great.

[SPEAKER_00]: I need a breeze.

[SPEAKER_00]: But they're going to be pumped for it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I need that priest there.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's so fun.

[SPEAKER_00]: With actually, we need to be pumping holy water into the sprinkler system.

[SPEAKER_00]: Totally agree.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was the insony mist on.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know, it's crazy.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's so funny.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's so funny.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's so awesome.

[SPEAKER_02]: So this is not a sports podcast, but I did just briefly become one.

[SPEAKER_02]: But now you guys kind of know what headspace guys are in.

[SPEAKER_00]: Calm down.

[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody calm down.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know we sound so smart.

[SPEAKER_00]: But down the phone, they've put our support.

[SPEAKER_00]: The answer is off.

[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're the answers.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, we're happy where we are.

[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks.

[SPEAKER_00]: 937, the fan, no thank you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Adam, put down the phone.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, P.N.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we'll be guys.

[SPEAKER_00]: So don't call me.

[SPEAKER_00]: Adam will be.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, fine.

[SPEAKER_02]: But we can't.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we have.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you can't.

[SPEAKER_02]: If you can afford us.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I also don't want to give out my football advice for free.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because I get paid to give it to the top team.

[SPEAKER_02]: I've been meeting the Tomlins tonight.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to be like, so the first thing.

[SPEAKER_02]: What's up with missing a kick?

[SPEAKER_02]: Tell us how that can happen.

[SPEAKER_02]: And number two, I feel like somebody's doing was catching up all.

[SPEAKER_02]: What's up with that?

[SPEAKER_02]: And number three, why are you slowing down sometimes, running?

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if you're tired, you should have slept more.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it's okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what I got to say about the game.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right, good luck.

[SPEAKER_00]: You need to Google the Indiana Colts owner.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, my God.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then the player.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the woman, the woman in her like her fur coat that she has a design to be a cult's fur coat and she's in like, a, a, a, a, a, [SPEAKER_00]: And she's the top.

[SPEAKER_02]: What is she writing down?

[SPEAKER_02]: What is she writing down?

[SPEAKER_02]: I bet it looks a lot like my notes And I'm writing down during the games that I'm watching wait apparently watching dishes the sealer score Anthony sends me a picture tonight of you with a no-pad and glasses on and [SPEAKER_02]: He sends you a picture through the window of me meeting with Mike Tomlin and says like why didn't she let me come in and I'm like I'm sorry, it's not a good time for you.

[SPEAKER_02]: This is a business meeting.

[SPEAKER_02]: Just drop me off and it's not a good time for you to meet him.

[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry He doesn't know married some people don't take married women seriously Just like you know in the sports world at least anyway, okay So we were gonna have a gauze of girl.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know we just kind of like shot the shed a little bit But it's been a minute since we've been on the horn so hopefully you enjoyed [SPEAKER_02]: Um, but we're gonna talk briefly about like the pop culture world of this time of these first few episodes in gossip girl season 1.

[SPEAKER_02]: So we're really focusing on 2007.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel like we need to like name the year 2007 like the year of I turn six.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: The year of six.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's the year I turned seven.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was six that year.

[SPEAKER_02]: The year of six.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, for some reason, I'm in the year of six rehab stints or DUI, so like the year should be 2007, the year of the DUI, 2007, the year of the DUI, 2007, the year of finding Coke in your car, 2007, the year of the female starlet's downfall.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's what this year should be called, wait until I walk you through the bullshit that was going on this year.

[SPEAKER_02]: as if it's not a full treasure trove.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean bad things happen, but all these people are fine now.

[SPEAKER_02]: So we can just do it.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: it all happened.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's part of the narrative.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I think it could, I can't imagine a better cultural landscape for gossip girl to premiere in than this world.

[SPEAKER_02]: So are you ready to hear about some of this?

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to be familiar with essentially all of these things that happened, but you're not going to believe that they all happened within days of each other.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay?

[SPEAKER_03]: We got it.

[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just like every star imploded.

[SPEAKER_02]: So we're really focusing here in Misha Barton.

[SPEAKER_02]: which obviously that is relevant coming from the O.C.

[SPEAKER_02]: Same show runner, Lindsay Lohan, Paracelton, Nicole Ritchie, Brittany Spears, and then also a little bit of the Kardashian sprinkled in here too, okay?

[SPEAKER_02]: So we're gonna start with January.

[SPEAKER_02]: January the month is cold, the T.S.

[SPEAKER_02]: hot.

[SPEAKER_02]: Kim's sex tape is leaked, and she says she did not shop it around, but we believe that she did, and it is in January that we start [SPEAKER_02]: this is also before the iPhone.

[SPEAKER_02]: So like I also need us to think for a second about the concept of like nudes and like sex tapes in this era.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like how do we have more work?

[SPEAKER_02]: They had to really like put effort into doing this and having it.

[SPEAKER_02]: And like how do you leak a VHS tape?

[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean a VHS sex tape?

[SPEAKER_00]: Not that it was on that, but I'm like I think Chris Jenner perusing her daughters.

[SPEAKER_00]: her daughter's glamour.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like seeing dollar signs.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just confused by that same with like this is the year that Vanessa Hutchins got caught for sending nudes and the Disney channel made her apologize and like release a public statement.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm like the iPhone had literally just come out.

[SPEAKER_02]: So these are either be like blackberry nudes or which I'm like, did those even constitute as nudes?

[SPEAKER_02]: What could you see in that?

[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, any photo that was taken on like, [SPEAKER_02]: I'm saying like these news were the iPhone wasn't even released at this time, so the news would be taken on blackberries.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like can we even call these news?

[SPEAKER_02]: What is it?

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I was for it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Did anyone even see a thing?

[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like it looks like these were taken on a rock, so honeyhoo, okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the first thing.

[SPEAKER_02]: Also in January, Lindsay Lohan goes to rehab her first of the year.

[SPEAKER_02]: OK.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to try to go in like chronological order.

[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see we've got here.

[SPEAKER_02]: OK, moving into February, Britney Spears, shades her head.

[SPEAKER_02]: This happens in February.

[SPEAKER_02]: OK, I'm 27.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_02]: She also checks into and out of rehab in the same day.

[SPEAKER_02]: Nicole Ritchie gets a DUI and February.

[SPEAKER_02]: Misha Barton crashes Nicole Ritchie's car on Sunset Boulevard in February.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I've realized.

[SPEAKER_00]: They were friends.

[SPEAKER_00]: Misha Barton was connected to them.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, oh, very much.

[SPEAKER_02]: Paracelton arrested in February because she was driving without her headlights on.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then when she got pulled over, they found out she had a suspended license.

[SPEAKER_02]: So she was also arrested in February.

[SPEAKER_02]: OK, and then I think also in February, it was either February or March.

[SPEAKER_02]: Paracelton leaks the blind item that Lindsay Lohanna seeing Samantha Ronson.

[SPEAKER_02]: Which is a little pretty little liars call back if you know that what do you mean Paris Hilton is the one that leaked that that is epic.

[SPEAKER_02]: That is that is I want to know what fight they got in that made that may have to do that because you were all hanging out.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know it's so crazy.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, then in March we've got Chloe Kardashian getting her DUI.

[SPEAKER_02]: So okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's where we get the classic.

[SPEAKER_02]: Moving on to April, Lindsay Lohan steals $10,000 in close from her roommate and rehab, and she then gets sued by this person.

[SPEAKER_02]: And Nicole Richie sends this person a nasty fucking text, which I will read to you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I think we've covered this before.

[SPEAKER_02]: we have.

[SPEAKER_02]: Are you okay?

[SPEAKER_02]: I know you have nothing but Jesus fucking Christ.

[SPEAKER_02]: Are you so desperate for new clothes you're willing to file a police report to get some?

[SPEAKER_02]: I'll go to good will for you and pick out a nice new pair of pants for you to wear and split open because you're getting so fucking huge.

[SPEAKER_02]: If you're going to do drugs at least have something to show for it, it keeps going.

[SPEAKER_02]: So that also happens in February.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry, in April.

[SPEAKER_02]: Also in April, okay, okay, April was the quiet month, I guess.

[SPEAKER_02]: In May, Lindsay Lohan has a DUI.

[SPEAKER_02]: She crashes on sunset, cocus found on her car.

[SPEAKER_02]: She ends up having to go to rehab.

[SPEAKER_02]: She then gets another DUI in June.

[SPEAKER_02]: We get, and she goes to rehab.

[SPEAKER_00]: How many do you guys, you have, can you have?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, no, I know.

[SPEAKER_00]: So like, even before just putting the thing in the car, that means you can't start the car without.

[SPEAKER_00]: And do the interlocutors.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm wondering if you're like, other people's cars or like, I don't drive you without a license.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if you're not, like, she must be.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's crazy.

[SPEAKER_00]: Three strikes you're definitely out.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm comfortable taking someone's license away with two.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm depending on the slice as a way to depending on the severity of the first one.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, exactly.

[SPEAKER_02]: Totally.

[SPEAKER_02]: If you kill someone obviously.

[SPEAKER_02]: For sure.

[SPEAKER_02]: In May, Misha Barton also overdosed on Shrooms at Nicole Richie's party.

[SPEAKER_02]: And woke up in the hospital saying, who's the bitch you call the cops?

[SPEAKER_02]: Paris Hilton goes to jail two times in June.

[SPEAKER_02]: The first time she goes, she serves like three days, she gets sent home and then she has to go back up the next day and there are pictures of her crying in the car on the way to jail the second time.

[SPEAKER_00]: So there's that.

[SPEAKER_02]: then um why isn't there like a really good concrete documentary about about all this but this is what we were looking for when we were watching a funny thing this is what we wanted I know exactly okay Brittany oh I said the whole she checks into and out of rehab in the same day the next day has the umbrella moment with the paparazzi the very next day [SPEAKER_02]: And August, give me more is released.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's song.

[SPEAKER_02]: And August, Lindsay Lohan goes to rehab again.

[SPEAKER_00]: And crazy.

[SPEAKER_00]: And as this is all happening, she's still releasing some of the best music.

[SPEAKER_02]: Still releasing some of the best fucking music.

[SPEAKER_02]: She, this is also the year she performs, Give me more of the VMA is just famously one of the saddest Britney performances that we have.

[SPEAKER_02]: Definitely.

[SPEAKER_02]: Lindsay Lohan goes to jail in November.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I must want an August.

[SPEAKER_02]: Nicole Richie goes to jail in August for DUI.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, go to jail for DUI while pregnant.

[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then you should burn as arrested.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: Misha Barton is arrested in a December for DUI as well.

[SPEAKER_02]: Um, all of that happened the year.

[SPEAKER_02]: The gossip girl premiered and I'm like, people were mad about gossip girl.

[SPEAKER_02]: But can you believe like all those girls were hanging out together and they were doing all this and then they were going on talk shows and saying no I don't do drugs.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, none of this is true.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like Paris when on David Letterman.

[SPEAKER_02]: He made her cry this year like all those things were happening Okay, let's say all those mug shots that we've seen all from this year.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy [SPEAKER_00]: What'd you say?

[SPEAKER_00]: The one of Lindsey low him with the spray tan and the bad low.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's a zero.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'll just picture.

[SPEAKER_02]: We have of her in the car where she's blonged, just like that picture is this year.

[SPEAKER_02]: The picture.

[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously of Brittany and Brittany's hair, by the way, sold on eBay the next day for like over $10,000.

[SPEAKER_02]: The day after she shaved her head.

[SPEAKER_02]: Fuck.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, and then of course, they got like divorces.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like Brittany and K-fed divorced this year.

[SPEAKER_02]: Lindsey low hand dated everybody under the sun.

[SPEAKER_02]: Justin Timberlake and Jessica Beal got together this year, sort of dating.

[SPEAKER_02]: Also, I didn't know this, Ryan Reynolds and Elana's more set were engaged for three years.

[SPEAKER_02]: They broke up this year.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think he worked out a way.

[SPEAKER_02]: Other like relationships.

[SPEAKER_02]: During all of season one, Blake Lively Penbadgly were dating.

[SPEAKER_02]: And the rumors are that she cheated on him with Ryan Reynolds, and then that's when they officially broke up.

[SPEAKER_02]: But they also broke up a couple of times because she dated Leonardo DiCaprio for a little bit.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I think Ben Affleck, there are rumors that she was responsible for the, actually, this is a crazy rumor.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if this is true, so I wasn't gonna say it, but now I am, and it's totally a rumor, and I don't know if it's true.

[SPEAKER_02]: But the rumors are, there were these news that were leaked and there was no head in the nude apparently, like you can't see who it is, but people matched up a birthmark, I think, and made my tattoo, but definitely birthmarked to play glily.

[SPEAKER_02]: So step monster, Kate, fucking crazy.

[SPEAKER_02]: That was sent to Ben Affleck, okay, and the rumor is, and this is like literally again, heinous, if not true, heinous, if true, the rumors Jennifer Gardner released it.

[SPEAKER_02]: leaked it because it like broke up her marriage like was part of why they yeah, which I'm just like why I don't buy that that can't be true and then it was a joke made in a word show and they were like and it was like oh I think it was Reese with her spoon who said it she said something about like make sure you don't put your head in the picture when you take news and it was like apparently well what year was Reese with her spoon's DUI?

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that was, I think, later.

[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe.

[SPEAKER_02]: She also went through art of voice of the Ryan Philly Bay during 2007.

[SPEAKER_02]: So it would have been after that.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know, isn't that crazy?

[SPEAKER_02]: The iPhone was the first iPhone was released also the Blackberry Curve with BBM, both were released in 2007.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like it was an insane year for pop culture.

[SPEAKER_02]: Super bad was released in 2007.

[SPEAKER_02]: That movie like I don't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's bonkers.

[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, so isn't that crazy though, if true about the nude and Jennifer Garner really?

[SPEAKER_02]: I just can't see her doing it.

[SPEAKER_02]: But that is what the scrolls.

[SPEAKER_02]: Say and the scrolls are red at feed so I don't know that the scrolls are always accurate But like the fact I mean there needs to be a book just written about the housewives debut The real housewives When I think it was before that wasn't that desperate housewives was in 2007.

[SPEAKER_00]: I believe Dang I know that inspired housewives [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, then yeah, desperate housewives came out in 2007.

[SPEAKER_02]: Hillary Duff did her with love performance with the viral dance that everyone does.

[SPEAKER_02]: That happened in 2007.

[SPEAKER_02]: Haley Duff and Kim Kardashian had some major beef in 2007 and they're like emails to each other relief to where they were.

[SPEAKER_00]: Really Duff also, they, they, she has beef with Hillary now.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, allegedly.

[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it just was like such a crazy time for like, it girls who are also rumors about Lauren Conrad having a sex tape at this time.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's just wild, like, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, but yeah, so Blake and Penn Badgerly data, they didn't on and off 2007 or 2010.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then, Layton Meester was dating Sebastian Stan.

[SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, which I totally forgot about.

[SPEAKER_02]: And now I've seen all these pictures.

[SPEAKER_02]: They were a great looking couple.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it was sweet like when we saw them, I was at the Emmys last year when there was kind of like a sweet moment picked up between them during his speech and he was like looking at her, which by the way the golden globes are tonight.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so excited Nikki Glaser's hosting again.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and what am I going to start?

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm ordering food tonight, and I'm flipping between.

[SPEAKER_02]: football and the Golden Globes, I cannot wait, work, and it'll be epic.

[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, those really the pop culture notes, I just like wanted to point out of that year.

[SPEAKER_02]: Also, two more things I need to say is that Miley, the best of both worlds tour, the Hannah Montana tour, is like the first one that actually started like the resale drama because it sold out so fast and moms were freaking out and then a bunch of different merchants got sued because people were reselling them for thousands of dollars.

[SPEAKER_02]: This was in 2007.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Whoa.

[SPEAKER_02]: And that was like, I believe one of the first times like that, but like a tour like that did that.

[SPEAKER_02]: So stay tuned for her new one that she's going to do, which I can't fucking wait for.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then also there was a big writer strike in November.

[SPEAKER_02]: There was a lot of infected Friday lights, of course.

[SPEAKER_02]: It affected gossip girls.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, but it was also responsible for a lot of the buzz around gossip girl because during that time, they could only do like reruns.

[SPEAKER_02]: And [SPEAKER_02]: So they were playing reruns of these this first season and people were like that was what they were watching and so that's kind of how they so when it came back it like came back with a vengeance people were like really excited about it.

[SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, I feel like it was like a perfect time for the show to come out, especially with the way that they like leaned into the negative feedback about it like [SPEAKER_02]: just to give you some context of like what was happening in the world when this show was happening and when we're like in the first half of season one and these kind of things were happening but we were also going to talk about sleepovers and pop culture because Daredevil has such a good one and we were like I don't know I feel like the sleepover topic was like a hot one in yeah everybody's talking sleepovers [SPEAKER_02]: Everyone was having Syborr's except for the conno girls.

[SPEAKER_02]: Do you want to know Mom is not a fan.

[SPEAKER_02]: I had Syborr's and if I ever have kids, my kids will not have sleepovers, and they won't like me for that, but that's just the truth.

[SPEAKER_02]: But Mom, like all our friends, we're always a lot of have sleepovers, and Mom was like, no.

[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we did, but she was like, I was allowed to have them at other people's houses, but I feel like for the most part, we didn't, I mean, there were a couple of times, I think like, can me or like, I think I had a super, like, to resell once.

[SPEAKER_00]: But like, typically mom was like, I don't want them at my house.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's hard.

[SPEAKER_02]: I remember that was like, I would, I never wanted to be at our house, but we're not to go to other people's because like, if I would take a seat over our Caitlin's house, no, it was true.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it was also like, I would take the Gungrails house was so fun, first of all.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was great because the parents were on the third floor and so it was just like so cool.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, they couldn't hear anything.

[SPEAKER_02]: They always had the best snacks.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel like Caitlyn's room was like massive.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was humongous.

[SPEAKER_02]: She had a TV in her room.

[SPEAKER_00]: She had like a little like alcove and it was like purplish carpet like light purplish carpet.

[SPEAKER_00]: I remember being there for a Super Bowl party and playing polypocats up there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, I can't believe we let you do that.

[SPEAKER_00]: I can't believe I don't let you come up there.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think you were like with the older kids like watching the Super Bowl.

[SPEAKER_02]: Why do you put that in quotations?

[SPEAKER_02]: We just talked about what a football fan I am.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I put together a list of sleepovers.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, let's see it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the first one, my sleepover, and third grade with these start talking about the sleepovers you've had.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, one time I had a sleepover, I'm not gonna name names.

[SPEAKER_00]: I had a sleepover at someone's house, and I thought it was just gonna be like this group, a specific group of people, like three of us, and then I walk through the door.

[SPEAKER_00]: in this girl that I did not really like because she was annoying like was hiding behind because when I opened it and they were like surprise and I was like, did they know you didn't like her?

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's wilder they surprising you with her presence.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was like she had a play day with the girl who was hosting.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so it became like, well, we can't, like, it pulled me up.

[SPEAKER_00]: There was a seat over and then it was like, well, now we can't not invite her.

[SPEAKER_02]: God, this stress of being like, we're all going to so-and-so as birthday party and some people are invited for a sleepover after, but you can't tell everybody.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my God, I hated that.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I also loved it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because I was always invited, but also sucks to be that girl and realize she wasn't on the initial list, because otherwise why would it be a surprise that she was there?

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I mean, like, wait, I just let her know that she wasn't initially invited to sleep over, because Phoebe will be shocked to see you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, um, okay, the first one I've listed is the sleep over and John Tucker must die.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, that is such a good one.

[SPEAKER_02]: This snack, and the mom being so happy that her daughter has friends over.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, no, that movie is just also such an owed to female friendship.

[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_02]: I agree.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to miss.

[SPEAKER_00]: And for you, I want to miss.

[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, the enemy that is men will exactly, exactly, but also all the girls, they initially thought that they were all enemies.

[SPEAKER_02]: They were wrong.

[SPEAKER_02]: And they were totally wrong.

[SPEAKER_02]: And they, and I bet they had a million fun sleepovers after that.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right, but I just, that's such a fun one when they begin to scheme and they're realized sleepovers, things, so fun.

[SPEAKER_02]: What could be better than as sleepover with the mission?

[SPEAKER_02]: That was just like the best trope.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I don't know if it's next on your list, but the movie sleepover.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, well, you know, this is more my list.

[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, that wasn't even on your list.

[SPEAKER_02]: What are you talking about?

[SPEAKER_02]: Are you crazy?

[SPEAKER_02]: The movie?

[SPEAKER_02]: It is literally titled sleepover.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, on your sleepover.

[SPEAKER_02]: Let's not use a famously bovers.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's perhaps the most famously bovers.

[SPEAKER_02]: Alexa Vagan's hair, Pakistan, or there.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's crazy.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's not crazy.

[SPEAKER_00]: What was the biggest ever?

[SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is kind of an honorable mention.

[SPEAKER_00]: I have a few one here.

[SPEAKER_00]: Uncle Marine.

[SPEAKER_00]: I have a few one here that aren't explicit sleepovers, but have.

[SPEAKER_00]: Uncle Marine's like the never ending sleepover.

[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like you see them in like Claire's room and then also [SPEAKER_00]: What the fuck is the other girl's name?

[SPEAKER_00]: It's something annoying.

[SPEAKER_00]: Haley?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Haley.

[SPEAKER_00]: Haley's room when they have like the fish and it's not knowing name.

[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, sorry for names Haley.

[SPEAKER_01]: He barely thinks that's such an annoying name and how near you have it.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's annoying for that character.

[SPEAKER_00]: That character is annoying.

[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, Jojo, Jojo.

[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jo [SPEAKER_02]: oh god the idea that that also the thing of the famous sleepovers is they all have like a few tropes that make them so great that it's like even if those things happen outside of a sleepover and a plot I still get that same feeling which is like the makeover I love a good makeover me girls almost made the list but there wasn't a concrete sleepover I don't think they do I tried googling it [SPEAKER_00]: But it's like a similar vibe like you can see them having a sleepover and Regina's room like well, that's why also my list my other honorable mentions Pitch perfect two specifically.

[SPEAKER_00]: I just watched Pitch perfect two.

[SPEAKER_00]: They all live in that house together and there's a scene where Becca's coming back from her internship and she sees them having a pillow fight like through the window And like they're all in like cute PJs and like really bonding [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I could put it to, is perfect too, is in our role mention, and then parent trap, sleep away camp is the never-ending sleepover.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this is a key to like sleepovers, have a specific kind of energy because they are tighteningly having sleepovers, but it doesn't feel like a sleepover until they're sharing the Oreos and talking about, and pierce each other's ears.

[SPEAKER_02]: Specifically when we're in that, what does it call the isolation?

[SPEAKER_02]: What cabin or whatever?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like that moment of the sleepover.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, where it's like it's kind of like oh my god wait I don't ever want it to be morning.

[SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to stay night and it's the same thing when there's like rain kind of By words like I don't want it to stop raining because I like being trapped in here with you and like having this kind of like yeah girl hoodie type moment [SPEAKER_02]: I saw just, but even so when they're all in the cabin together, like in the moment where they've got like the prank so they play on each other like I love a good sleepover prank Which is another reason I can't believe the movie's sleepover didn't make your list.

[SPEAKER_02]: They're epic scavenger hunt where they have to like lie to the parents I love that trope Jane Lynch is the mother like it's that movie [SPEAKER_00]: is the epic sleepover is the epic sleepover with the older brother who is like in charge he sort of like is some pair boofing poop he's sort of like complete in total and then compute you know what I mean yeah I guess I should have put that on the list it's just like it's not a movie that really sticks out for me and my life but the I have a few more one is clueless is another movie that doesn't have an explicit sleepover even though Elliot does come over that's kind of a sleepover vibe like he brings in the vibe [SPEAKER_00]: He just wants to watch movies with her on a, and like, bake cookies and do whatever.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but also.

[SPEAKER_00]: Share is whole vibe, anytime the girls are over, gives sleep over.

[SPEAKER_00]: I then make over scene.

[SPEAKER_00]: We have the, like, really the first depiction of the sleepover probably ever.

[SPEAKER_00]: Probably ever.

[SPEAKER_00]: Probably ever.

[SPEAKER_00]: Rice.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God, look at me.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Sandra D.

You're right.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and that's a mirrorless sleepover.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's a mean girl sleepover.

[SPEAKER_02]: And a sleepover, I've probably been out of four.

[SPEAKER_02]: And we call him by the way of the Virgin.

[SPEAKER_00]: Caroline's Carolyn's not Santerity.

[SPEAKER_00]: She is.

[SPEAKER_00]: Guess who I am.

[SPEAKER_00]: Guess who I am.

[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for not saying I'm Jan.

[SPEAKER_00]: I am the plea risotto.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's her Santana moon coming out.

[SPEAKER_00]: So right you're so right we did is a funny because I was just listening to good hang with Gwyneth Paltrow Which I love that I love that people were finally like we went with Paltrow where allowed to think she's like a bowl I'm trying to make out what she's on there and she's like she's a blessing listen to it I listen to clips of it.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's a moment where any pullers like oh, let's talk about your like conscious on coupling thing [SPEAKER_02]: and going with was like honestly like and Amy was like I understand what you were saying with that where you were like look like it doesn't and she was like yeah I was saying I was saying like I would love for there to be a choice I can make here to choose not to hate each other and choose to co-parent in a way that like [SPEAKER_02]: We can still get along and support each other and have our kids see that and she's like, but I also totally get why that's like That would rub people the wrong way and like that one people would hear that and be like, oh my god, and she's like So I think people are totally entitled to their opinions about that like she She can she's in on the joke.

[SPEAKER_00]: She's in on both sides I love a lot of things Amy mentioned the movie that Nicole Kidman was in and when it was like [SPEAKER_00]: to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was a cool kid in that one.

[SPEAKER_00]: You just confused you for Nicole Kidman.

[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_00]: She loved it, and I think I think that this caricature of Gwyneth Paltre that people have created because she is a little bit ridiculous in the third.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think they would have expected her to be like, what do you mean?

[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't going to be.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's like, kind of be a bitch about it.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sure Amy Polar had a moment of like holy fuck.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's also a great moment where she talks about smoking cigarettes.

[SPEAKER_02]: was a lot of waiting and like a marble movie and wins like oh my god so much waiting and Amy was like I bet the craft services is pretty good which I first thought was like if I'm waiting on a movie set all I'm doing is getting from craft services, but I know that's not like when a powtrow is doing it's like what is she doing and she was like [SPEAKER_02]: remember cigarettes like oh my god when you could just go smoke a cigarette like oh my god and she goes you know i've decided when i made a seven i'm gonna start smoking again because she was like i am i'm going to and then she talks about being in the royal tenon bounds is it bound that's how you need to pull her kept saying i have all it's a bomb but um she was like oh yeah well i quit smoking right before that movie and then they were like your character smokes and i was like oh guys i smoke again like [SPEAKER_00]: I mean it was funny like it's very like well, and I she's like I do think we all should have looked back and been like Look, I know she left Chris Martin for Brad Falchek so like whatever I you want to look at this situation Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_00]: Ongly, but I do think you have to have a Funness to you and kind of like [SPEAKER_00]: and the ability to laugh yourself to my holiday and glee.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, and what I initially brought this up the reason is because she brings up glee on the podcast and how much she learned from it.

[SPEAKER_02]: And she was like, I mean, compare a movie to glee.

[SPEAKER_02]: She was like, holy shit.

[SPEAKER_02]: They were like, they were, it was the most productive set I've ever been on in my life.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like she said, they got so much done because a TV show, it's like they're just spitting out content so fast.

[SPEAKER_02]: She was like, [SPEAKER_02]: It really changed my perspective on like work ethic on a set and things like that, which is kind of cool to hear someone say about Glee, but anyway, my last two sleepovers.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: 13 going on 30.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was just gonna say that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, one princess diaries two, which to me, and I think this might be a generational thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's the, like that is, I feel that way the way that you feel about sleep over.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like to mean growing up that was what a sleep over.

[SPEAKER_00]: Started to catch my breath.

[SPEAKER_02]: I have to, oh my God.

[SPEAKER_02]: I literally, I thought you're about to say that Princess Diaries 2 for you is like the more formative Princess Diaries movie.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, oh, it's no, I mean, it's an amazing movie Ravens Mones and it, like, it's great.

[SPEAKER_02]: They literally surfboard on mattresses, going down the mattress.

[SPEAKER_02]: Julie Andrew surfboards on mattress.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, that's the bober.

[SPEAKER_02]: When I think of like amazing pop culture sleepovers, it really is the same movie.

[SPEAKER_02]: Princess Diaries 2 gossip grilled air double.

[SPEAKER_02]: Those three for me massive, but I do love the 13 going on 30 when they all saying love is about a field and like, but I am like, where are your parents girls?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where are your parents?

[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't been like, is it like when you're angry?

[SPEAKER_00]: I did draw me a memory about that one when I was like Googling everything.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, is it the sleepover where she gets like, is it our birthday party?

[SPEAKER_00]: Is that a sleepover and she gets like super sad?

[SPEAKER_00]: And then I was like, wait, you're right.

[SPEAKER_00]: She does have a sleepover as a 30 year old woman with a bunch of teaming.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, like, she's your old girls.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're like, oh my god, you were a thong.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like, and are like, you're just kissing a don't man.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: And one of the girls is the girl from the secret life of the American teenager.

[SPEAKER_02]: The red head.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's the girl she meets in the elevator when she's like, can you see me in the bathroom?

[SPEAKER_02]: Totally wear no, or whatever.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's that girl.

[SPEAKER_02]: Was a Ashaw Benson, Brie Larson, massive jumping off point.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know, I know, I know.

[SPEAKER_00]: And it's over the main ones that kind of, [SPEAKER_02]: Papa Jennifer Garner was the main one.

[SPEAKER_02]: I would say, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, [SPEAKER_02]: Like, those girls were it girl.

[SPEAKER_02]: They were cast to be it girls, and they were actual it girls in real life.

[SPEAKER_00]: You said something mean, can I say something mean and then maybe we put it in this?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I love that.

[SPEAKER_00]: My theory on the Lucy Hale in Hardin project.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: Is that they are seeing how much people adore Ashley and Tyler and Shay and everybody.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and they're not having to even do a project and Ian and Lucy were like, how can we open this back up?

[SPEAKER_02]: Let me just piggyback on that by just saying that I did film the whole TikTok about this and then I didn't post it to my drafts, but I did film a TikTok saying talking about this movie and kind of alluding to that because also I was like, why did they announce it before this Christmas when it's not coming out until next Christmas unless they want an entire year [SPEAKER_02]: I did you help blame them.

[SPEAKER_02]: I like, is it going to, [SPEAKER_02]: But maybe you should have waited until at least like I'm like wait until after Christmas because now it's going to get lost in the like.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like every one's released in your Christmas movie and you announced it and it could get a lot I mean it won't but it could get lost in that but I was like oh because now they have an entire year to be feeding us this content so we're excited to know they can be feel they can be doing everything that you used to do on set doing their little things and everything exactly.

[SPEAKER_02]: And they should and good for them and good for them and I thought it was interesting that like.

[SPEAKER_02]: to 100.

[SPEAKER_02]: And why is it somehow still like cooler that Ashley Benson and Tyler Black were going to have to do a movie.

[SPEAKER_02]: They, their movies are just the tech talks they're making together.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's their movies.

[SPEAKER_02]: And they just like will forever have to try less hard, which sounds so mean, but it just is through.

[SPEAKER_02]: They are inherently cool.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I think this girl is a fucking bad bitch, but I don't know that she has the inherent coolness in the fashion fashion.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's for sure.

[SPEAKER_00]: And that's not a free.

[SPEAKER_00]: Congratulations to Tramble.

[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, she's pregnant again.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yes.

[SPEAKER_02]: Congratulations to her.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was a cute post.

[SPEAKER_02]: They made.

[SPEAKER_02]: anyway you guys okay so i know that this was a kind of all over the place episode but hopefully hopefully you enjoyed as we continue on these Tuesday episodes will continue to take shape and turn into like what they are meant to be but if you have ideas things you want to hear us talk about think pretty little punchbowl think you know kind of getting deeper into the gossip girl stuff or the pop culture of the time et cetera let us know what you would like to see [SPEAKER_02]: We love you guys so much on Thursday.
