Our guest Dr Seth Peterson, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). He is the owner of The Motive Physical Therapy Specialists in Tucson, Arizona, and an associate editor for JOSPT Cases and Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Practice. Dr. Peterson has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters. He is an Associate Editor for both The Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy Cases and Orthopedic Physical Therapy Practice, and has over 30 peer-reviewed publications. He has received the Emerging Leader Award from both AAOMPT and APTA, and the Innovative Practice Award from the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. He is one of less than 1% of physical therapists to have completed both residency and fellowship training, where he has had the opportunity to train under national experts in the field of orthopedic physical therapy and spine management. Dr. Peterson maintains a faculty position at A.T. Still University, where he mentors residents and fellows. He is also the co-owner of The Movement Brainery, a continuing education company.
