Well, welcome back to another episode of the DCL podcast, your podcast to cruise a little Smarter.

Doing pretty good.

We are not alone for this episode.

It was not on my bingo card to have an itinerary It was not.

It was nowhere in my mind that I thought Tuesday, On a Tuesday, but there was nowhere in my mind You know what?

It happened on my day off, though, which kind Seas yet.

Yeah, which you will be tomorrow.

Exactly.

And I would have been when they released it.

Just a quick little three-night cruise.

So for the Patreons, and this will go live so I'll be posting about that cruise, but we're We have fall 2026 and spring 2027 itineraries If you recall last year, they released spring And honestly, I didn't know we were going that The fall because frankly, I didn't feel like Yes, and hype is when they do with one season But realistically, they need to compete with When you can go on their cruise.

So maybe that's what they're doing here.

Yeah, I thought when they did this last year, Like more and more into the future.

But I mean, we saw really even last week that Which would have fell in within this were not Of course, that obviously was a factor in changing But as always, we are here to go over where Season, what's going on, what sailings we think Be great choices in the book.

I mean, really, any Disney cruise is a great But there's definitely a couple highlights here.

Yeah, I think there's some that are going to Going to garner a lot of excitement in the DCL Yeah, we have a couple ports for some of these It's been a very long time since we've sailed We always love to scream into the void about Being honest, we don't have that many of but Get today.

I think we should start with the stepchild, Looks like the stepchild, who are we referring The adventure?

Oh, the adventure.

Yeah, that one is different.

One of these things.

It's not like the other.

It is not and neither is it's itineraries.

I just think this is probably the it's probably It really only did half of a release.

It only releases through the end of 2026.

Oh, yeah, that's interesting.

Do you think that might mean that something The I mean, in January, I was listening to the And they talked about how it's not far from So maybe like their plan is for the new year I don't know.

Maybe.

I mean, I feel like you can only do three and Like eventually you're going to even with repeat Like people are going to want to go somewhere.

I feel like.

Yes.

So that's it.

Adventure is doing their same thing.

They're very excited.

You get two days at sea or three days at sea.

Those prices are very reasonable.

Obviously, the change is going to be getting Okay, so and actually, I think it's tricky because The wish is also a very simple one where there's The season.

But maybe we'll talk about the end of the season So let's start with just what we know about Yeah.

So pretty much for most of the release.

I don't think the wish is doing anything too You've got your three night and four night Bahamian It does.

Actually, for all the three nights, it is back Is that what I'm seeing here?

I was looking to see if it had lookout days We saw on the last release.

So for the three nights, it is all cast away.

But it looks like for the four nights, you do Also a couple really sweet, actually a good And cast away with the day at sea.

Yep.

So this is kind of for a short sailing kind Yes, those those would be top of my list if Wish cruise.

Yeah.

Otherwise, not a whole lot different going on Nope.

Do we want to stick with Port Canaveral?

Yeah, Port Canaveral is tricky to just say we're But the other one that is cruising there for And outs out of that port of other ships.

But the other ship that is staying there for Oh, yeah.

Seven nights out of the treasure.

I was just thinking of the shorter trips.

So the treasure we can go to next she is sticking with her eastern and western seven She does have some stops to San Juan instead And then I don't think she's doing anything No, she's got really the same the seven night Yeah, other than a couple different port stops It is pretty much in line with what we see for Yep.

And then moving into the fantasy also spending But this one's got the greatest diversity of A lot of three, four or five nights, really.

Yeah, I would say the the West Coast sailings sort of hop around like that as well.

Yeah.

So the fantasy is still doing her Bahamian cruises.

So she has from October through January, some To Castaway and Cozumel.

So that is something that is unique for her.

Yeah, she got quite a few Western Caribbeans Yeah.

And then there's right through that whole period And then she has the three, four and five night Lookout and Nassau, like in between those ports, I mean, nothing super really crazy for the fantasy I do, you know, highlight those five nights Those are definitely a fan favorite sailing You know, nothing super crazy going on there.

But just a really good sailing, especially if As well.

I really like that one.

She has quite a few four nights that also go And Lookout, which is great.

Then there is three sailings that are doing are five nights doing two days at Castaway, One at Lookout, and then a day at sea.

So that's exciting.

Oh, yeah.

That's two sailings doing that.

And you know, that sailing is really good for Cruisers with families, younger families, in And you're not trying to navigate a bunch of Like a five night cruise is so fantastic.

It is my favorite length for first time cruisers, because you can really relax and get into It.

And so and then to be able to go to their islands, Just easier.

And there's very low extra cost associated with Where your foods included, your beach chairs You need.

You don't have to spend extra money if you don't Yeah, again, really just great itineraries regardless Sailings Katie and I love a good back to back And then with Port Canaveral, and I think it's Port for one more second.

The dream does in April through May of 27.

Some cruises that go to look at Lookout, Castaway So the dream is back.

So she's in San Juan for a tiny bit.

And oh, she I'm sorry, I was looking at it the She ends in Port Canaveral for this release.

That was my problem.

Didn't want to believe me.

I see.

No.

Well, I was looking at the big block of Fort To Fort Lauderdale after it does its transatlantic, It's got a 13 night westbound transatlantic Is that Portugal?

Portugal?

Yeah.

So then it is in Fort Lauderdale for most of Of various sailings.

It's got some Eastern Caribbeans, which I think I don't think we've seen Easterns from Fort There, which are pretty cool.

You've got or we have her attending her going To go to as well.

But Porto Plata, Dominican Republic.

So that is going to be new, or at least returning I don't know if Disney has ever gone there.

For sure.

Other cruise lines go there, but I can't think So Dominican Republic, that is interesting still, Getting changed by other cruise lines recently, I mean, I did three years.

Oh, what did we just find out?

I just did not correlate with something we haven't Back to Port Canaveral.

Are we going to save it to the end?

Well, we might as well just discuss it now because OK, so let's go ahead and finish with the dream.

So first off, before the dream goes to Port It's got some Southern Caribbean sailings.

One, I think, very good Southern Caribbean sailing, The best itineraries on this entire release.

Yeah, I think this is going to be the most popular She's doing a true Southern Caribbean, leaving St.

Martin, and two days at sea.

I think that one is going to be a very popular Yeah, definitely.

Again, a really, really good Southern Caribbean We've had a lot of trip reports with very Southern Just always fantastic sounding and beautiful.

She's also doing three, four and five night Lookout and Nassau, depending on the itinerary.

And I think that what's great about those options In to take your cruise, you can now look to The dream is a great ship.

The kid areas are great, and the adult areas And so it just has so much to offer people.

And the port is so close to the airport there.

You could also fly into Miami, which is still So it's just super convenient.

So it's definitely a cruise port, you're going Going to find that your cruise fare is still Out of Fort Lauderdale than it is out of Port Yeah.

So then after San Juan, as we mentioned, it Be returning to three and four night sailings.

So it's taking the spot.

Well, we only know that it's doing this in the spring, but April, May, but it's taking The spot of the wish.

Yes.

So the wish does have basically a missing some Right with when the dream gets back to Port And so it looks like the dream is taking over Moving somewhere.

She's okay.

So so many things right.

First of all, she's coming back.

The dream is coming back to Port Canaveral, And four night sailing.

So many people have sailed her so many times Night sailings.

So just hilarious that she's now full circle, Now to me, the April 27th date seems to imply that the wish for 2027 and that's when we Don't have any more sailings for the wish that And would she be due for a dry dock in 2027?

That's five years.

Right?

Didn't she come out in 22?

Yeah, she definitely could be up for the dry This is such an interesting itinerary and decision Speculating.

Yeah, we have nothing.

We know nothing.

Somebody out there in the world knows things And then remember, we talked about the 2027 The time.

We know that Galveston for part of the year The magic is going there per usual, but the To have a year long ship.

The wish has to come back from Europe.

What if she comes back and goes to Galveston, Have no knowledge, but at some point in 2027, Wish class Triton class ship is coming out.

She likely needs to come back to Port Canaveral Anyways, well, let's go ahead and circle back In Galveston a little bit.

But before that, it actually starts its itinerary Vancouver.

This ship is kind of the one that's Got the most different ports starting in Vancouver.

San Diego.

But then it spends a little bit of Sailings here.

I think is it mostly shorter Four nights for the for the magic magic.

Yeah, Seven nights.

Yeah, seven night Mexican Riviera.

Now in general, out of the West Coast.

I think Will be doing some I assume as magic does one.

It.

So the magic is doing the one over Halloween, I think maybe for the Mexican cruises, it'd Wonder are sort of flip flopping and going back Cover the locations, cover the location versus Multiple sailings, there's going to basically A very long season.

But then obviously, the magic is spending time and Galveston as well.

Those cruises are over like the fall winter area outside of the Panama Canal cruise basically.

And the Panama Canal cruises are the going in In November, and then going out April 25.

Those A great itinerary.

I guess the point though, Part, except for like two days or whatever that Port Canaveral business.

But she's in Galveston she's not on the west coast.

Yeah.

And Then she does the Panama Canal goes back to Which does basically allude that both ships Great.

I love that.

I hope that eventually we've We get those one way sailings for Disney for Would be amazing.

That's the next I feel like Next where Disney takes one of these ships and Phenomenal.

Yeah.

So then Christie already pretty On the west coast permanently.

Yay.

At least Down to San Diego does that rotation of four or five, six, seven night sailings down there.

We do have some sailings with Puerto Vallarta, Just because we haven't seen as many longer A hot minute and it was going to Mazatlan for Nights.

So usually it'll hit for the Panama Canal cruise.

So I appreciate that it's just Going to be a part of the seven night Mexican Going to be.

Yeah, there's a good variety.

Yeah.

Island sailings returning as well.

Love Catalina A pretty good amount of those sailings as well.

So that's great.

Yeah.

So I'm sorry, the fantasy Those who wanted it, but you can have my ship.

Then did we actually talk about the destiny?

Destiny is staying in Fort Lauderdale.

But what Night cruises again.

And I just think that's To be like a few sailings here and there that Menus.

And I feel like they're like over periods of fall breaks or other holidays for the most Part, but not always.

So she's mostly doing I said, this like several now seven night cruises, which I just love.

Yeah, and they Tend to be cheaper than the treasure as well.

At the actual pricing for it.

But Fort Lauderdale, It is so hard and you know, newer ship or whatever, Then that I think pretty much covers our sailings.

Probably like the big ooh and ahh in our next Looking to do something new, they are all TBD If the adventure does something like different, Release though.

Oh, yeah.

Like if it's like Own, what are those islands over there called It's gonna end up in any of those, that is going Love to see it.

It's a big ship though.

So that'll They can have.

Also, I think I said that the Wasn't doing the seven, but there are four night When can people book people can start booking Club members.

Platinum can book on Tuesday, Of that week.

So Wednesday is gold Castaway Club members, and Thursday is silver Disney Vacation Club and Disney ABD adventures or insiders Can also book on Thursday that has to be by Agent if you're going to be booking on that Before.

And you just have to give them that Have in fact done one of those other activities, Opens to the general public on Tuesday, which Day in there on Monday.

So that would be the I'm a little surprised that it's not Thursday.

Just going all the way in a row.

But this gives It's open to the general public.

If you are, That for the most part, the best pricing occurs To book one of those popular sailings, like Probably book that as soon as you can.

It's Like the Southern, the typical Southerns that And then there is availability for it.

But the Have gone up and it is unlikely unless at the The ship where the price can be reduced again.

Typically your best prices are going to be to You either have to book it with the travel agent With Disney.

A travel agent can't transfer over Within 30 days of the booking, or it has to Agent or to Disney to book it directly.

Agent as well to get your bookings done for Christie, one more question.

Yeah.

What are Really talked about it yet.

But I have to make Is when I would book.

But I really like taking a cruise over Christmas.

And I find that I Likely will do that again.

We've already like A book.

I'm not sure that we will book anything We are late bookers.

Yeah, there's still some That we're like, that might be a rate sailing.

If you're going to go in off season, if you're Minute guaranteed restricted rates that exist.

On, I would say book it.

Disney Cruise still Final payment unless you're in a concierge cabin.

To a different sailing.

But I think what we Treasure sailing in.

Yeah, I think you do need That is the only ship will be missing.

I know.

Don't think it's gonna happen for me anytime We get to like, because she's located so far, She does Liz who's cruising on her on the inaugural I will then have cruised on her.

So it'll be Be the cruise line.

And she's giant.

And so away.

So until they bring her to the states Or something, she'll be the true white whale.

Yes, she does count.

I will say that was actually For for this release was what's the adventure Price compared to once we look at flights?

We For us is if a BD added a short escape.

Yes, that would be that would be clutch.

But I would say the only other thing about the sailing Time, which I think we were hoping some people Think that's gonna do it for this episode.
