Uh So, this is not the first official episode of this season, because you know, the first official episode is supposed to happen next week.

But this is episode ero.

There was an actual MTV episode for us.

It took us all through the the players and the quick snap of the game and had a lot of t J in it, which I appreciated.

But half of the host did not watch it.

They didn't.

Did you guys both watch it?

We did tryout getting a little like tired of handler TJ.

I missed like skateboarder fun TJ.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So for the two hosts that didn't watch the episode, most of this episode was TJ acting like a CIA interrogator in a completely dark room with the Yeah, they back at a metal table with a single light and he sits there and the new contestant, the new player comes in and sits down and he asks them, you know, who are you?

And you know, tell me three words that described you and I hate the backstory and all that sort of thing.

And then you get a real quick flash of a light comes on off to the side and it's one of the older players saying why are you here?

Yeah, it was very strange, but except for player actually there was.

Yeah.

I think they I think they must have had a TV or the or told them to stop or I don't even know.

But one of the players d she didn't get the why are you here?

She got Johnny Bananas saying, do you have a boyfriend?

God, he's got to find a rookie.

Dude, he's got to find a rookie.

You can do worse than that.

You want to give that D T D D Churus D might be doing that later this season.

No, According to her, her strategy, you you kiss the boys, you tease the boys, but you never give them your power.

So I politics, Yeah, Banana should watch her season of Survivor.

That's exactly what she did to poor Owen.

Was it Owen Zachy often Austin, Jeremy, Jamie, did you watch that season?

I think that was the last one that we watched of like the New Generation.

Okay, all right, So what other what other like reality shows like this one?

So there's Survivors, other fun one, the Traders, House of Ellins.

You guys get a round the only one.

The fun part would be then between the podcasts of this and then all the podcasts that.

Go with those.

Anytime we travel to visit her family, which is like a four hour drive, will pop on one, one or two of those podcasts every time.

So kind of catch up on all that.

Nice, real nice.

It's just it's been actually fun to like all of the details that you miss from the episode.

It's nice to hear some of those point of view explain it and then kind of hear some of them, just like when Johnny does his podcast to hear an actual player.

Yeah, yeah, I'm with you.

I don't listen to any podcasts about it anymore, but I used to.

I used to enjoy it that way.

You're too into it, Tim, You're in the middle of it.

You just can't.

That's definitely part of it.

And I think I'm just you know, I don't know.

These last few seasons of the Challenge have not been great.

I've seen a lot of people talking to mine about it, and I do like I have to actively try to get myself excited about the Challenge these day, where it used to come a little more organically.

But yeah, the worst part about it is like there are parts of the last few seasons that have been really great, but like we've all really loved and then it's just like overall.

Eh, yeah, yeah, not memorable.

So I think that's yeah, which happened at the Spies, Allies with the Handler, TJ or everything.

Yeah, all flames and explosions.

Yeah, yeah, lots of pirow, lots of Pro.

Twenty five episode seasons, and they're at two hour episodes.

It's just too much.

Chat Room says the first half of forty was good and then the second half dragged.

I don't disagree with that.

Yeah, I remember liking forty, but.

I liked it too, But there's something to be said, Like the only other show that I watch is Survivor and it's always thirteen episodes and man is it fast, and it's like you don't have time to be bored with it, and the challenge to get an extra ten episodes and you are like you're bored at some point.

Yeah, the challenge also puts a lot of it.

It puts a lot in on drama, puts a lot in on the you know, the talk in the house and all that sort of thing.

Which, speaking of our Fantasy League and drama real quick, I did switch up some of the points this time, so I lowered some of the points for like the relationship bullshit, lowered some of those, changed a few things around, so there are a few point totals that are different.

So hopefully it'll be more challenge and like talk and gameplay in the house and that sort of thing focused rather than like, hey, this person made out with that person, like well.

And normally I'm all for that.

This is the actual time I watched the preview and I was like stopping and pousing, like writing down everyone that's having romance, and like I took all the notes on the drama and romance to get over there the left.

I mean, there's the points are still there.

They're just not as high as they have been in previous seasons, because yeah, I forget, if we want to focus more on the game than who's fucking who, you just want to watch them fucking you don't actually care about who's doing it, right, Yeah, So back to them.

So we have the we have the the C I A t J.

But then we also have it keeps flashing between it and what they're actually doing, so it keep it.

The challenge that they're all doing is that they have to run from the bottom of a mountain to the top of a mountain and touch a stone.

And in the order that they get that stone at the top is the order that they get to pick who their partner is going to be.

Okay, so all of them run.

Yeah, everyone vet, vets and threats.

Yeah, and that's pick, and that's pick the threats.

You assume in the order that you're going, right, the first one is gonna pick the first one and.

Some one yes, So it doesn't matter if you were a VET or a threat who your order in the grant the toll.

It's not only the threats get to pick their player or who their partner is going to be, or only the vets it's literally the first.

I should watch this.

That's an interesting twist.

I like that.

Yeah, the first five are all threats and then we have two vets a threat VET, but but vet but threat so like it.

It kind of switches between the two.

The list off to the side because.

It's gonna be hard for me to talk about it.

But was there do you think that some of the Vets had a strategy of like, I don't need to win this.

I like, I would rather be more middle of the pack, you know what I mean?

Like, do you get the impression some were not that hard?

Potentially I think there's potential for that, But there were more than a few Vets who were like, oh fuck, I am out of shape.

But a lot of the heavy headers you'd think would be doing good for the Vets were near the end of the pack.

Was at the very end.

Doesn't like ship this season.

Yeah, he went He went from like two seasons ago, not even two seasons ago, fucking jacked and then all that ship went down with him and the girlfriend ex girlfriend, OnlyFans model, whoever the fu she was.

That's when it started.

He fell in love with me while we were at the thing and doesn't know how to cope with it, and.

He's just you know, he caused it.

So CT was last.

He was towards the end.

I mean obviously the end.

Yeah, he started near the end, but he didn't finish near the end.

I guess because he picked in them near the middle of the pack.

And it wasn't until ct and and Anissa got up there.

When they got up there, they're like, no, we're not letting you sit this out, like, get your ass up, come with us, like we're all going down together.

So even though Nya finished before Anissa and CET, she basically gave up.

Yeah, jeans while going up the mountain.

Yeah, she was wearing jeans wild see.

I saw something like.

The clothes they wore off the airplane and then just go.

I saw some speculating online and I think there is a reason she was wearing jeans, Zach, do you have any I didn't read the reason because I didn't I didn't know she was wearing jeans.

And yeah, So Blue, who's one of the new girls on the season, said that they were told to dress for like dress up the fire, and then they showed up and like, all right, now, you guys got race in map.

So they were not told to come in athletic gear.

Oh interesting.

I got the impression though that she was the only one that was sort of dressed out of like blue, I.

Think, was like in a dress and she said she had like some type of weird like heel or weird shoes on or something like that.

He was one of the girls was in a pair of like leggings that like you wouldn't be hiking up and down in the mountain then either.

I forget who it was, but yeah, yeah, that was.

Uh, you're saying I quit like Johnny Banana's in a final.

Pretty much, Johnny quit that one final.

Johnny absolutely quit that final.

Yeah he did.

But that was why I threw out Ashley though, even though she's a two time shamp, she quits a lot, and she's got a bad attitude and she gets in fights and ship and I'm not sure I would pick her even if she was available, even though she can sort of compete, I don't think I would want her as a partner.

Yeah, So that's where that's where this whole thing, the order comes out.

So, Zach, you may be right, Johnny may have finished more at the middle of the pack because basically first person who was picking could pick any of the women as long as it was a female from the opposite, like the opposite grouping.

So fit a second or third you'd get picked.

You wouldn't necessarily.

You could be you could be yeah, second or third to run up there.

But then the you know, the first person picked, so then that would go up an expert.

So it was a little screen in that way.

So the teams, do we want to run through that whole through the whole list and then talk about them or talk about them as we go through the list.

You need to pick someone who is not who's going to take that target away a little bit and who has like good social capital in the house in order to balance out your game.

And take the beef.

Because he said, you know, in her first season, she's really good challenges and also like she's connected to bananas, so by gain a viv he also gets bananas.

He's a great competitor.

Her big thing is she's a little bitty.

She is a little bitty, but she's good at most everything else.

You know.

So I met her in Atlanta.

She has to be like four ten at most.

Yeah, she's that's tiny, goddamn smaller than Katie.

Yeah, she has like this, she had like four like if you saw a picture of me and her, but she had like four inch heels on and was still like massively shorter than me.

Yeah, So that's I think that will probably be one of their greatest weaknesses is the height difference, because Jeremy looks like he's probably six to two.

The handle Okay, so she was on a dating show.

She got out of the house and immediately started talking to Rogan and ended up in the kitchen.

At one point in time, Rogan was doing a little polo dicking and then Mss Smashley comes walking into the kitchen like, oh, what do you two do it?

And we get her little confessional saying talking about how she basically coined the term pola dicking, which she did.

I remember when that happened, yea, I think we talked all of this stupid podcast.

But it was it was just it was a weird It was a weird way that they did that.

They did it in the episode because Rogan says that he's going to do some Paula dick in and then like thirty seconds later, Ashley says, Oh, well, there's this thing that I started, this Paula dicking and they have it show up on the screen and it's like they you, this would have been so much better if Rogan hadn't said it thirty seconds agoin time.

Yeah, he said it like three times.

Just like oh god.

It's like if they had only taken the Rogan scenes and put them after Ashley's it would have been so much better.

But it just it felt so awkward and clunky.

How cool would it have been if Rogan ended up with a second woman named d though he's with the wrong woman.

That would have been awesome.

I got, but it was kind of funny because he was talking the whole time.

I was like, I'm doing this to get as a partner.

Garret is a partner.

Then then she gets to choose, and she chooses THEO instead of him.

His face dropped, like none of what he.

Did work yeah, but she and she picked THEO because she has kind of made a fast friendship with Olivia and she wants to get into that alliance because Olivia and THEO were connected, so that was a great choice too.

He's just good at it.

He's good at almost everything.

Yeah, but yet again, that height difference might be an issue, and his.

Height does get in the way of him sometimes he's too he's too big sometimes, so.

Yeah, we've seen that on a few seasons.

So uh.

Team number three is Cedric and Olivia.

I don't remember much about him other than he had really curly hair and he was way too enthusiastic when he met TJ.

Fedric is from Big Brother.

He's also another early but he's like the third one out I believe, also a former marine.

He's just he's like a super friendly, like golden Retriever type guy, and that's why he got kicked out Big Brother is because just everyone loved him.

You're like a great social game and everyone was scared that like this man will make it to the Inn and Wing.

Because no one hates him interesting.

He looks fun.

These cast photos are the worst that were.

So like weird half jumping thing.

Dude, they're so weird.

I'm scrolling through them all to try to find these players, and everyone is worse than the one before.

It's like, what the fuck?

This is the worst.

One thing that could make me word for in the game is we saw her later in the house going around to people talking mad shit on d and definitely throwing the under the bus early.

Is because she got kicked out so early on her last season because she the partner that she had, like they did well, and she's like, I don't want that to happen again, so I'm hoping.

I think it was kind of like I hope that he doesn't pick me because I don't want to target on my back immediately.

So she picked Will.

And Michael is one of these like cold calculated types.

I think that like she's learned her lessons from the mistakes, she's not gonna act emotionally, like.

So d is a survivor champ.

She was the sole survivor.

She from what I remember of her game, she made it far by just relying on her ties to Austin.

Was it Zach like pretty much just straight up used him the whole game and like ended up winning.

Yep, but it was it was a very like social win, very just sort of strategic and almost sort of manipulative type of a win.

Yeah.

So they had her and Austin had two other people that have four person aligned and they just pretty much used as a moved as a four person you throughout the whole game until the very end where De've flipped and used some of the outsiders to take out all of Austin's other friends in the group, so that way often had to stay loyal to her and take her to the end, and then she got to the end with him and beat him.

And Austin had a crush on her, a full like a definite crush.

Yeah, that I think she played up and I don't think I don't think it was reciprocated that she acted like it for the show.

Yeah, yeah, I think they had a little bit of a fling posho, but it didn't last long.

Austen is now famously dating the niece of Jeff Probst.

Oh no shit, good forriend what.

D is the one who also said, you know, you kiss the guys, you flirt with the guys, but you don't give them your power.

So it'll be interesting to see how the relationship goes between Johnny and D because she also was not super thrilled by this pick.

She knows that Johnny has a lot of heat on his ass and gets targeted early because he's a seven time champ, and she was not super thrilled.

He he's still looking good physically, and like he'll allas is gonna go far if he doesn't get out eliminated early.

Everyone will always keep him around as he always does.

Yeah, like so, and then the partners are gonna switch at some point in time.

So like whether or not once the partners switch, is like if everyone likes her right now, I can see him just kind of keeping him around early and then yeah, you let him go to the final.

He probably will win somehow.

But yeah, I mean, he definitely has a chance, but you know he could just you know.

Based on nothing, I think D's game is not going to do as well in the Challenge Household.

Frankly, yeah, it'll see.

It'll be interesting to see how the two of them go.

She sits there in her explanation as to why she's picking Rogan is because if she's gonna have to yell and scream, and she needs to make sure that she has someone who understands her accent.
