Episode Transcript

[SPEAKER_02]: SMU on the purge of history.

[SPEAKER_02]: Harden, trick or treat Dallas.

[SPEAKER_02]: SMU wins.

[SPEAKER_02]: SMU with the upset of the Miami Hurricanes improving to six and three on the season.

[SPEAKER_02]: The biggest win for the program since 1983.

[SPEAKER_02]: Coach Lashley Victorius against his previous school.

[SPEAKER_02]: And Miami's playoff hoats on life support.

[SPEAKER_01]: These are the Orange Ball Boys, presented by Paul Baines Roofing from residential roofing to commercial roofing, even roof repairs, give Paul a call, get your free estimate at PaulBainesRoofing.com.

[SPEAKER_01]: Here's toast, Roman and Scoop.

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, well, well, well, this November 1st, and look where we are.

[SPEAKER_03]: Games lose 26, 20 and over time at SNU this evening just died, Rose, so why are we here?

[SPEAKER_04]: It's the recapture, it's the recapture, [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, give us six more scoops, give us six more scoops, I hate this team.

[SPEAKER_06]: No, there he is.

[SPEAKER_06]: We all have our, we all have our, our hoodies on.

[SPEAKER_06]: We're state champs.

[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, he got something to hang your hat on.

[SPEAKER_06]: We're state champs.

[SPEAKER_06]: No one can take that away from us.

[SPEAKER_06]: No.

[SPEAKER_06]: No, you beat all the teams in the state of Florida.

[SPEAKER_06]: It was well done.

[SPEAKER_03]: All right, boys.

[SPEAKER_03]: So where do you guys want to start with this?

[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, scoop congratulations.

[SPEAKER_03]: You are eight for eight.

[SPEAKER_03]: I am.

[SPEAKER_06]: I was, I was, I almost predicted the actual score today.

[SPEAKER_03]: You're damn plus.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: I was a Homer.

[SPEAKER_04]: I was a Homer.

[SPEAKER_04]: And just for everybody in home listening and watching online, I am sick.

[SPEAKER_04]: I am sick physically and I'm sick emotionally and I'm sick before the game.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, I was sick before the game now I feel worse.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, no.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is not good.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is not good and we're keeping a mic for this shit.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think I think for me It's really gonna come down to three things.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think a lot [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to come down to Mario being the CEO.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think the offensive coordinator, and I think the officiating.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think those are going to be the polarizing topics.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's just what I'm gathering online.

[SPEAKER_04]: So, I don't know which one you want to start with first.

[SPEAKER_04]: Might as well start with the CEO.

[SPEAKER_03]: No?

[SPEAKER_03]: Sure, man.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'll go right there.

[SPEAKER_03]: I will go right there right now.

[SPEAKER_03]: How much to say really go ahead.

[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_03]: So listen.

[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this is this is simple for me.

[SPEAKER_03]: My floor for successful season was an ACC title and or a playoff birth.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how many folks shared that, but it seems like I wasn't in the minority.

[SPEAKER_03]: So this season will be a failure for me.

[SPEAKER_03]: There's no spinning it.

[SPEAKER_03]: State titles are cute as I just alluded to it, but that doesn't mean shit.

[SPEAKER_03]: 2025 is a failure to complete another disappointment in my mind.

[SPEAKER_03]: If you say that's harsh, I get it.

[SPEAKER_03]: But for a fan of my age, [SPEAKER_03]: anything less than our national championship is a failure.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's just the expectation that was sent in the early 80s into the 90s is an reasonable in 2025 possibly, but I'll also tell you this is not a fan base that is ever going to embrace finishing top three or top five in the ACC.

[SPEAKER_03]: My issue is that this administration has invested everything in [SPEAKER_03]: they deserve a better return on investment than a 500 conference record in year four.

[SPEAKER_03]: I just believe that.

[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and my issue is that Mario is not going anywhere.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's got six years left on a guarantee deal, $50 million.

[SPEAKER_03]: But we've talked about his stubbornness.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I just don't know that this is going to change at any time over the next five or six years or three years or whatever it is.

[SPEAKER_03]: So, yes, so I almost kind of feel, I mean, listen, has you moved this program for a hundred fucking percent, yes?

[SPEAKER_03]: The talent, yeah, hundred percent, yes.

[SPEAKER_03]: But we're seeing issues here that same issues other fan bases of seeing when he was your head coach and talked about.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't know that we get over this hump and we're locked in for six more years.

[SPEAKER_03]: And that's an issue for me.

[SPEAKER_04]: I agree with you.

[SPEAKER_04]: There's two parts to them.

[SPEAKER_04]: The first part is, is he national championship caliber in terms of delivering you a national championship caliber roster.

[SPEAKER_04]: I say emphatically yes.

[SPEAKER_04]: And that's not easy to do in today's college landscape, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: You have to get the Joe's first.

[SPEAKER_04]: But then the other part of him has been an embarrassment to be honest.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's been embarrassing losses, middle Tennessee state.

[SPEAKER_04]: You add Georgia Tech debacle.

[SPEAKER_04]: You add what happened to LSU just the way it happened this year.

[SPEAKER_04]: You turn around, you go to SMU and when you are that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Inept in terms of you're an office of line guy and the penalties are rampant in that starts with you and all the way I thought we cleaned that up in practice and then just a stubbornness that you display it's really it's a we're kind of held hostage because it's a dichotomy and it's not a fun dichotomy to have because.

[SPEAKER_04]: And my soul of souls, my, I don't know if you're going to get somebody who loves recruiting and is as good at recruiting as Mario Christmas ball, because even Nick Same is said, I was probably the best recruiting ever seen and you need to get the talent, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: Because we've seen Miami hurricane teams without the talent.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now we have the talent, boys, we have the talent.

[SPEAKER_04]: We have talent on that team.

[SPEAKER_04]: You have first round NFL talent.

[SPEAKER_04]: We do.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's been a minute.

[SPEAKER_04]: In this guy can't get out of his own way.

[SPEAKER_04]: He refuses.

[SPEAKER_04]: And that's where I am with the CEO.

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, guys.

[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I really don't.

[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it's one of those things I agree with all of that.

[SPEAKER_06]: I do.

[SPEAKER_06]: Toses is right.

[SPEAKER_06]: He's not going anywhere.

[SPEAKER_06]: And, and, and, you know, my thing is if not Mario.

[SPEAKER_06]: no one's bringing us back.

[SPEAKER_06]: I really, I truly think not in our lifetime.

[SPEAKER_06]: Is there going to be a coach that comes in here and knows how to do it and gets it done if he doesn't, if he's not the one to get it done.

[SPEAKER_06]: He's the guy to do it.

[SPEAKER_06]: He stacks talent upon talent upon talent, upon talent, [SPEAKER_06]: have been very vocal about the game day acumen in the decisions made on the sidelines within that time of a game.

[SPEAKER_06]: They're just not good enough.

[SPEAKER_06]: They're not good enough.

[SPEAKER_06]: And it's [SPEAKER_06]: of anything.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's why the best of the best are exceptional at one thing usually.

[SPEAKER_06]: Mario maybe it says recruiting and they surround themselves with exceptional people who are pin hold as guys who can get other certain things done at a very high level.

[SPEAKER_06]: if that's the case.

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_06]: Look, I don't know if there's we don't know specular live scoop.

[SPEAKER_06]: We don't know how much you saw Dawson pissed off today.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's the first time you've seen that.

[SPEAKER_06]: You saw Dawson yelling at Mario today.

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know and we don't know how much of this that we've been [SPEAKER_06]: clamoring for in our disenchantment with, you know, variations in the running game and variety of being creative, having bad plays.

[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe Dawson has all of that.

[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe, don't know, maybe he's got it all.

[SPEAKER_06]: And he's not allowed to run it.

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_06]: But he seemed pretty pissed off [SPEAKER_06]: Maybe that's not the case.

[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe Mario hired him because he is lock step with what Mario wants to do.

[SPEAKER_06]: And Mirabol for that matter.

[SPEAKER_06]: And they're just all so stubborn that, hey, look, it was just poor execution today.

[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, couldn't be.

[SPEAKER_06]: All right, we're starting now.

[SPEAKER_06]: Poorly executed.

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what to tell you.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's, it's, [SPEAKER_06]: You are, it's tough to watch your husband's bells that are ringing, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: You are five and five and ten in November and beyond in the Mario Christmas or five and ten.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right, let's cut the bullshit.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's not good.

[SPEAKER_04]: No, it's five and ten.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to I'm going to read this really not good.

[SPEAKER_04]: Who really, really not good.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to tell you in [SPEAKER_04]: Alright, in the month of September, you had 35 points by the end of November, you have 16 points for the whole month in November.

[SPEAKER_04]: In 2023, you had 43.8, you ended up in November, 25.5.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what Shannon Dawson, by the way.

[SPEAKER_04]: 2024, the anomaly year with Cam Ward, 49.4, still ended up 39.10 points less.

[SPEAKER_04]: And now this year, one game into November, you started off 36.8, respectively in a month of September.

[SPEAKER_04]: And now you're down to 20 points.

[SPEAKER_04]: So here's the deal, gentlemen.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're not smart enough.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm telling you right now.

[SPEAKER_04]: You are an unintelligent, at best, deaf.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can't see the changes.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can't.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's evident, I'm not saying that.

[SPEAKER_04]: They are saying that.

[SPEAKER_04]: The stats are saying that.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're not good enough.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can't figure it out.

[SPEAKER_04]: You are the guy that goes in the ring.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's like I got an uppercut, but you're literally gonna get jabbed into face repeatedly and you can't figure it out.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's like watching a caveman start fire.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what it looks like.

[SPEAKER_04]: Let's just pound it, brother.

[SPEAKER_04]: Let's just pound it, brother.

[SPEAKER_04]: And alarm and alarm, and alarm we went and said, it's gonna get you beat.

[SPEAKER_04]: You gotta stop running inside.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's gonna get you beat.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's gonna get you beat.

[SPEAKER_04]: And when it mattered most.

[SPEAKER_04]: And when you were in this advantageous spot, what happened?

[SPEAKER_04]: What was the genesis of it?

[SPEAKER_04]: Either you try to run inside.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then on fourth down when it matters, we'll show him brother.

[SPEAKER_04]: We'll show him brother.

[SPEAKER_04]: We'll come in in the art formation, big jumbo, and you know how you got beat your tight end got beat.

[SPEAKER_04]: So let that be a lesson.

[SPEAKER_04]: Let that be a lesson.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what you decided to do and you're going to blame it on execution.

[SPEAKER_04]: This big robust offense of like, look at me brothers, we'll run you over.

[SPEAKER_04]: Ha, let's do it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Your tight end got beat.

[SPEAKER_04]: And he's not even a great blocker because we watch it week to week.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is who you are, and it's not smart enough.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I'm gonna say.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're not smart enough to figure it out.

[SPEAKER_04]: That showed you the stats showed you.

[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't show you, scooped in, showed you.

[SPEAKER_04]: None of those guys in that room in the press conference showed you.

[SPEAKER_04]: You showed yourself.

[SPEAKER_04]: You show what you are.

[SPEAKER_04]: A capable of adjustments.

[SPEAKER_04]: you get this high horse running outside for busses.

[SPEAKER_04]: What seems that way?

[SPEAKER_04]: It seems that way.

[SPEAKER_04]: And that's how you've gotten beat.

[SPEAKER_04]: Fix that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Fix that.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can't be that bad.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can't go half of your production out the window just because they put ACC.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're beating other conference non-conference teams, but what happens?

[SPEAKER_04]: The book is out.

[SPEAKER_04]: The book is out, Mario's gonna do the same things.

[SPEAKER_04]: Nobody, nobody in your era says, Mario Christmas team showed us some stuff.

[SPEAKER_04]: We've never seen before, no shit, no shit, five and 10, five and 10.

[SPEAKER_04]: Five and 10, that's what you are when it matters.

[SPEAKER_03]: So in short, this is some up row that was unsatisfying day for you.

[SPEAKER_03]: Bullshit.

[SPEAKER_06]: Like what's the point of having an air rate OC when all you do is line up and run it into the guards ass every play now to be fair they got a little bit variable in the in the in the first half of the first quarter and it was nice it was nice to see to be quite honest with you, but when it I what rose saying is when it matters most I had I had a conversation with somebody after the game that told me of course we knew it was coming.

[SPEAKER_06]: See, here's the problem, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: They know what's coming.

[SPEAKER_06]: Just like everybody else, everybody else knows that we know, everybody knows it, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: So when it's fourth and one and it's third and one and you gotta get a yard and you line up in jumbo or you line up in that trips with Tony and Moshe, which you ran effectively for 14 yards on the previous drive, tried to run it again, got stuck.

[SPEAKER_06]: Everybody knows what's coming and that's okay.

[SPEAKER_06]: but they're banking on the fact that you won't change it.

[SPEAKER_06]: Right, so what they're doing is they're playing the odds.

[SPEAKER_06]: They're playing the odds, okay, let's say.

[SPEAKER_06]: 100% of the time, they're gonna run what we think they're running.

[SPEAKER_06]: So we're gonna just sell out at no point.

[SPEAKER_06]: At no point do we ever divert?

[SPEAKER_06]: from what they know we're going to run.

[SPEAKER_06]: Right?

[SPEAKER_06]: So they sell out.

[SPEAKER_06]: They give you everything they've got to stop that exact play that they know is coming.

[SPEAKER_06]: And we just run it anyway.

[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it's wild to me.

[SPEAKER_06]: It truly is.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's truly fascinating that [SPEAKER_06]: What did the telecast say?

[SPEAKER_06]: The telecast said something to the extent of Dawson had mentioned in, I don't know if there are pre-game meetings or interviews or whatever, that he's really, like his comfort level with boredom is really high.

[SPEAKER_06]: Was it true?

[SPEAKER_06]: That's what they said in the telecast that he said.

[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm okay with that.

[SPEAKER_06]: But at some point, guys, at any point, can we try to outsmart the guys on the other side of the ball?

[SPEAKER_06]: Can we, at least give it a shot because I will tell you this.

[SPEAKER_06]: If you, you could send everybody, it could be fourth and one.

[SPEAKER_06]: You line up and send everyone that's eligible down the field on GoRubs.

[SPEAKER_06]: and you don't complete the pass.

[SPEAKER_06]: You know what we would say?

[SPEAKER_06]: Great job.

[SPEAKER_06]: Great, hey, at least you tried.

[SPEAKER_06]: At least you tried something different.

[SPEAKER_06]: We would not, we wouldn't care.

[SPEAKER_06]: No one would be mad.

[SPEAKER_06]: Why is everybody mad?

[SPEAKER_06]: Because, I mean, you guys know, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: Everybody knows why, why we're mad.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's that's the thing to me that, like, everything else.

[SPEAKER_06]: And we say whatever you want.

[SPEAKER_06]: Caught a bunch of flack this week.

[SPEAKER_06]: Specifically, because people were in a tizzy about it.

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, maybe we're just fucking idiots.

[SPEAKER_06]: I guess.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think so, but I took offense to that and I didn't take enough offense to it because I was watching some other film and trying to get he he he he he he he talked to those reporters like they were two years old.

[SPEAKER_04]: Correct.

[SPEAKER_04]: And he he he lives in a vacuum and he's obviously triggered about something about that topic and maybe him yelling at Moira, which is another topic I want to bring up after this.

[SPEAKER_04]: But [SPEAKER_04]: you patronized them so much like you like they've been there longer than you a lot of these guys in that room they've seen coach after coach use coach speak you come in you're the SME nobody devised that you're the offensive coordinator you're the one making seven figures but I will tell you this right now they they know a little bit about the game they know they know it's it's it's it's yeah they don't know the intricacies like you do I don't [SPEAKER_04]: You know, what's with the running game, it seems like you bang your head up against the wall a little bit too much.

[SPEAKER_04]: What happens?

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I know.

[SPEAKER_04]: What do you want me to do?

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_04]: Option to this.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like you were saying such ass and I in things dude, and then I just laughed because I wanted to eat.

[SPEAKER_06]: I saw Texas run a toss for for touch on today.

[SPEAKER_04]: I run it.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you did try to run outside a little bit, but when it mattered most, what did you do?

[SPEAKER_04]: You got blown up, you were in disadvantageous spots because it was a run up the middle stuffed quick, screen, stuffed and now you're in third and eight.

[SPEAKER_04]: You lose the game on an interception, how did you lose it?

[SPEAKER_04]: You got stuffed, you got stuffed, you're in a third and six.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can't really run it from there, so you try to pass it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Who'd you try to pass it to, Malachi Tony, what did SMU do?

[SPEAKER_04]: They doubled them.

[SPEAKER_04]: Game over, was it a bad play when you got down there?

[SPEAKER_04]: Hell no, was a three by one look with a choice option to Malachi Tony, and you played right into their hands, dude.

[SPEAKER_04]: You play, well, you guys don't know what you're talking about.

[SPEAKER_04]: On this one I do, on this one I do, though, that's the thing, you can't patronize all of us.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're gonna ask us to not believe, it wasn't the best play call for the moment.

[SPEAKER_04]: It really wasn't.

[SPEAKER_04]: They just played the best defense and when you look back at it, you play it into their hands.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're not really the most creative guy which goes to this thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, who's calling it?

[SPEAKER_04]: Who's calling it?

[SPEAKER_04]: Here's, I don't care.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care if Mario has the influencer doesn't have the influence.

[SPEAKER_04]: If he's handcuffing Shannon Dawson, if he's not handcuffing Shannon Dawson, this is what I know.

[SPEAKER_04]: People who are micromanaged in life.

[SPEAKER_04]: put themselves there.

[SPEAKER_04]: They allow themselves to be micromanaged, either because you chose to work for the micromanager, or you don't have the balls to go in there and say, no, this isn't going to work.

[SPEAKER_04]: Let me show you, let me do this.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is what you hired me to do.

[SPEAKER_04]: So no matter what you tell me, they always want to give Shannon Dawson a pass because Mario's influence.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're in the same building [SPEAKER_04]: If I got a problem, Mario, I can literally go to his office.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're gonna get me beat.

[SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna lose.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is what's happened.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is what I'm seeing.

[SPEAKER_04]: And you can't argue your case enough.

[SPEAKER_04]: Come on now, he's a grown-ass man.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's not like, what do you think Mario's doing?

[SPEAKER_04]: Like, just sitting there, like, what a fire me then, bro?

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I'm saying.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's, it makes no sense to me.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's the guy calling the place.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's gonna get the wrath right now for calling the place.

[SPEAKER_04]: Mario influence, Mario, not influence.

[SPEAKER_04]: Didn't, didn't quit, bro.

[SPEAKER_04]: Didn't, don't work for a guy like that.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then it is what it is.

[SPEAKER_04]: And you're right.

[SPEAKER_04]: It is what it is.

[SPEAKER_04]: But at this point, tell everybody.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm being micromanaged.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's telling me what to do.

[SPEAKER_04]: What do you want me to do?

[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you for the honesty.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, he allows it.

[SPEAKER_03]: Listen, I think we have to also just accept the fact that he told us this since one of you tweeted it out.

[SPEAKER_03]: He said he was only scooters' quarterback.

[SPEAKER_03]: And the reality is when you look at his resume at this stage, [SPEAKER_03]: He was a hundred percent true.

[SPEAKER_03]: He was nothing that can talk he had in the business season that can talk he.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's a Dana Holgerson guy never called the plays of West Virginia Dana did.

[SPEAKER_03]: Was it Houston, what's his name, a quarterback, had a great season.

[SPEAKER_03]: Dana stripped them of the play calling in 2022 before he took this gig.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like he has had cam ward in the kid at Houston.

[SPEAKER_03]: And outside of that, he's been awful calling plays.

[SPEAKER_03]: He hasn't put up the numbers.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's a we saw that's from our man, Bob as well.

[SPEAKER_03]: We, we saw what it was like with CBD.

[SPEAKER_03]: That was nice making him a captain today.

[SPEAKER_03]: That was nice.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I in that part didn't even bother me.

[SPEAKER_04]: We didn't have it to reverse.

[SPEAKER_04]: We couldn't march out as a former SMU players this captain.

[SPEAKER_04]: No, I mean, look, it's a doggy dog world.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's an adjustment game.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I'm the most pissed off about, because like the ROI is not happening because we can't win late because the ROI is being diminished because this staff is too stubborn to make changes when changes are necessary.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're like, you're incapable of doing it.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're getting beaten to the punch.

[SPEAKER_04]: and the numbers prove it.

[SPEAKER_04]: If you fix that, if you're like, look, we understand conference is going to be a little bit closer, the talent, whatever.

[SPEAKER_04]: You played no-to-date at the beginning of the year.

[SPEAKER_04]: You played Florida at the beginning of the year.

[SPEAKER_04]: You have USF at the beginning of the year.

[SPEAKER_04]: That had nothing to do with it.

[SPEAKER_04]: You just got into conference.

[SPEAKER_04]: You put enough on tape.

[SPEAKER_04]: You get to and around that for the six week mark.

[SPEAKER_04]: Good coaches know that, hey, team, you're going to just and you couldn't adjust to their adjustment.

[SPEAKER_04]: Game over, because he's not the smartest guy in the room either.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry, good dudes.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't hear the superlatives from other coaches.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, man, that Mario guy.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's showy.

[SPEAKER_04]: You heard them talk about Jeff Brom, what's the first thing they said, brilliant.

[SPEAKER_04]: Brilliant, excellent guy.

[SPEAKER_04]: Smart, brilliant, smart.

[SPEAKER_04]: What's the last time you heard anybody say that about ROC or head coach?

[SPEAKER_04]: They're brilliant, they're smart.

[SPEAKER_04]: You don't have to be.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can be a good CEO, be a leader of men.

[SPEAKER_04]: You don't have to be the smartest student in the room.

[SPEAKER_04]: But I will tell you, you need to get the offensive coordinator.

[SPEAKER_04]: That is literally, literally the guy.

[SPEAKER_04]: Because I put a tweet from my account, I said, Edo and Mario are like parallel universes.

[SPEAKER_04]: Edo won, he had a generational quarterback, Joe Barrow.

[SPEAKER_04]: But he had, he had Brady too.

[SPEAKER_04]: And that guy's been in the NFL as a staple, as a mainstay, guys brilliant.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's why they won too, because they had somebody smart.

[SPEAKER_04]: They had somebody who can adapt.

[SPEAKER_04]: They could have somebody to do that.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're not adapting.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're not smart enough.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're not.

[SPEAKER_04]: Analysts, whatever, you guys are not smart enough.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can't tell me you're smart enough when you're dropping that many points from October, September to November.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can't tell me that.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're dropping like half of your offensive output and you can't figure it out.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can't figure it out.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can't be like, well, this happens every year.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's like the same thing of you running up the middle.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what you're going to hit this point of the season.

[SPEAKER_04]: Gidry last year, all you have to do is shift in motion.

[SPEAKER_04]: And you guys were like eating rock sandwiches.

[SPEAKER_04]: couldn't get your team right.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's amazing when you got that right on that side of the ball.

[SPEAKER_04]: Defense is amazing.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's so sad we're spending our time in wasting it on the offensive side of the ball because it's defense kicks ass and it's national championship worthy.

[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, Mario.

[SPEAKER_04]: You built this a national championship worthy guy.

[SPEAKER_04]: And you don't have to be the defense has like one sixteenth of the offensive play sheets.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my VTB.

[SPEAKER_03]: First of all, you wanted some money.

[SPEAKER_03]: You dropped to the SMU post 12 and a half, but he also threw this out there since Chris about to go over Miami.

[SPEAKER_03]: Cains lead the country in most losses by a team as a double digit favorite heading into the game.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's how stubborn.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's a brutal stat.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's how stubborn he is.

[SPEAKER_03]: And Danny can, man, he has a higher win percentage of Duke than Mario has in Miami.

[SPEAKER_04]: You own it on it.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just telling you why you know, look, you just I did it right.

[SPEAKER_03]: Last year, I was 21 and two in the ACC in the last two years were 14 and 14.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's not one of the top 10 highest paid coaches.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's not going anywhere.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're and listen back in the day.

[SPEAKER_04]: before it like people knew is, who do you want to be the offensive coordinator?

[SPEAKER_04]: I said, Red Lashley, and I was back then, and that guy went on to do this.

[SPEAKER_04]: Cause he was growing.

[SPEAKER_04]: He was innovative.

[SPEAKER_04]: He adapted.

[SPEAKER_04]: He listened.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think that offense.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think you need more on track.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm an NFLf style offense these days.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I don't know if he's gonna win it long term in SMU, but he's got SMU believe in him himself and congratulations to him because he's had a wonderful career.

[SPEAKER_04]: Man he wasn't ready.

[SPEAKER_04]: We know that, but at least man he was smart enough to hire Red Lashley.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just going to sit there and tell you to anybody who wants to hear me.

[SPEAKER_04]: The staff's not smart enough.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's that's fine.

[SPEAKER_06]: And they're not smart enough.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's fine.

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't disagree with you, but anyone who thinks that, okay, maybe Dawson isn't here next year and we're going to go and Mario is going to hire somebody who doesn't [SPEAKER_06]: believe in the same or similar philosophy, that he does currently and that Dawson tries to run currently.

[SPEAKER_06]: Your sadly mistaken.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's not going to happen.

[SPEAKER_06]: You think Mario is going to get somebody who's innovative.

[SPEAKER_06]: No.

[SPEAKER_06]: Mario likes what he's doing.

[SPEAKER_06]: Mario likes this.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to disagree here.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to disagree here.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's fine.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to disagree.

[SPEAKER_04]: And the other reason why I'm going to disagree because the power is that be that put, the power is that be that put themselves in this situation that go ahead and be the guy and then literally have the ability to go into his ear and be like, look, it's not working.

[SPEAKER_04]: Here's how we know it's not working after you're four.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is what you do late in games.

[SPEAKER_04]: you've hired multiple guys and your ACC records sucks.

[SPEAKER_04]: Welcome for your return.

[SPEAKER_04]: You did everything to come back here and try to build this thing and do it right and do it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Here's the reality.

[SPEAKER_04]: What you're doing is not working.

[SPEAKER_04]: And if you wanna do it and be a long list of other guys that get fired and have these contracts and go live and drink your kathasitos, it is what it is.

[SPEAKER_04]: You wouldn't be the last might be her cake coach we've seen fired in our lifetime.

[SPEAKER_04]: We've seen plenty.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's always the same shit.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's always.

[SPEAKER_04]: Always comes down to the same thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Nobody's been able to get the talent you have.

[SPEAKER_04]: Gradulations.

[SPEAKER_04]: you would you would go on somebody else's staff tomorrow and make them national championship caliber worthy if they had any deficiencies in recruiting and offensive line you could fix it tomorrow.

[SPEAKER_04]: But you can't fix yourself and eventually those guys need to just put it in front of [SPEAKER_04]: What are you going to do?

[SPEAKER_04]: You got the talent, but this is your record in the ACC and this is your record late.

[SPEAKER_04]: So we want to know specifically, not the system scoop and this and aligning with this and that and that's fine.

[SPEAKER_04]: You want to do that, that's fine.

[SPEAKER_04]: You want that system, that's fine.

[SPEAKER_04]: But how do you counter it when they start pinning their ears and coming after it?

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I want to know.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what you need to fix.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what you owe it to us.

[SPEAKER_04]: to yourself, to those kids on the team, to everybody in this fan base who's ever loved you.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what you got to fix.

[SPEAKER_04]: You could do whatever you want to do, Mario, Christopher, you can run however you want to run it and run it in the A gap any which way.

[SPEAKER_04]: But fix that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Fix the fact that you can adjust.

[SPEAKER_04]: Fix the fact that it looks the same way when you lose.

[SPEAKER_04]: Fix that and we'll be okay.

[SPEAKER_04]: So somebody just needs to say, well, just adjust.

[SPEAKER_04]: Be who you are.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's fine.

[SPEAKER_04]: Just have the answer before other teams have the answer.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's all I'm saying.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's all I'm saying.

[SPEAKER_04]: Not asking for the guy to be fired.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's not going to be fired.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's it's fascinating that the two most established alum head coaches that we've had Mark Rick and now Mario.

[SPEAKER_03]: kind of a similar situation unfolding, right?

[SPEAKER_03]: Just a stubbornness with the offense.

[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Mark actually was at the end of his career, so it was, you know, Mario Avertimer and he time soon, man.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I mean, Mark kind of, you know, was like, all right, whatever, I'm just not going to change so I'll just walk away from this.

[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, it's, I mean, the fact that I don't understand Roe, Scoop, how you can, this is his dream job, this is his all.

[SPEAKER_03]: How can you, [SPEAKER_03]: break down players and develop players and exploit their weaknesses so they get better.

[SPEAKER_03]: And at the same time, not be able to identify yours.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I mean, because he preaches this all the time of these kids about you've got to you know, don't identify your weaknesses and correct them and get better and improve.

[SPEAKER_03]: How can he not see that when he looks, does he ever can if he even possible for him to just take a step model and give himself a review of himself and realize, man, you know what?

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not perfect.

[SPEAKER_03]: I got some tendencies that maybe I need to change because they're getting exploited right now.

[SPEAKER_04]: Do you know why he's you know why he's losing and he probably doesn't even [SPEAKER_04]: No, I'm dead serious.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's a diva.

[SPEAKER_04]: Tara Owens, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: Why'd receivers?

[SPEAKER_04]: Those are the biggest divas in the room.

[SPEAKER_04]: If Tara Owens was a head coach, what do you think he would want to do?

[SPEAKER_04]: Throw the ball every single time.

[SPEAKER_04]: Come on, just give it to me.

[SPEAKER_04]: Because that's how you win super ball.

[SPEAKER_04]: Just throw it to me.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm Tara Owens, diva.

[SPEAKER_04]: They'll come in the hot auto.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know who they are.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're in your ear the whole time.

[SPEAKER_04]: You want to win, throw me the ball.

[SPEAKER_04]: Nobody's going to win the heisman.

[SPEAKER_04]: Hand in the ball off.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know, throw me the ball.

[SPEAKER_04]: Mario is a div on the other side.

[SPEAKER_04]: Run behind my back, brother.

[SPEAKER_04]: Run behind me.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's the same thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's the same thing just in the trenches.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's like having Terrell Owens run your company right now.

[SPEAKER_04]: But on the other side, you just got a diva who likes to run the ball.

[SPEAKER_04]: And we said, you're gonna run it side and get a beat.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's just gonna happen.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're gonna beat you.

[SPEAKER_04]: And they beat you, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: They beat you.

[SPEAKER_04]: It beats you running.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but we ran for 140 yards.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but when it mattered, they knew where you were running.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I don't care that you ran for four yards per rush.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is what you do, your diva, your absolute diva.

[SPEAKER_04]: You got playmakers on Nick Sabin.

[SPEAKER_04]: Did you hear that comment?

[SPEAKER_04]: They got playmakers on the field.

[SPEAKER_04]: That was a shot.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you're running the ball.

[SPEAKER_04]: You got play, you got Malachi Tony.

[SPEAKER_04]: You got other wide receivers out there.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, Jojo come out and he was doing great until he fumbled the ball.

[SPEAKER_04]: Had a ball popped off and he got picked and it like a running back fumbled.

[SPEAKER_04]: Of course you're not gonna see him that much more after that.

[SPEAKER_04]: You just caused the turnover similar to a running back fumbling.

[SPEAKER_04]: But you got, you recruit all these guys.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, let's just give it to Mark Fletcher, and I like Mark.

[SPEAKER_04]: But it's not like our running backs are breaking out 80 yard runs this year.

[SPEAKER_04]: They haven't been.

[SPEAKER_04]: You want to know why?

[SPEAKER_04]: The teams won't let you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they will, that's all, yeah, four-yard game, four-yard game, four-yard game, let's get them to get a procedural turn over.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now they're at 39, don't throw it in completion or an interception, we get them off the field.

[SPEAKER_03]: Ritz released over.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was the third quarter.

[SPEAKER_03]: Three straight runs.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think Jordan Lyle had the first two, got like six, and then they got two.

[SPEAKER_03]: Then it was like fourth and one, you put in flesh and he loses.

[SPEAKER_03]: All three right up the middle, like, is it just obvious?

[SPEAKER_03]: And then they happen again, the fourth quarter.

[SPEAKER_03]: But listen, do we also can, [SPEAKER_03]: This has got to be one of, I mean, for everything Mario preaches, the level of undiscipline.

[SPEAKER_03]: On this, if we can talk about the officials being assholes and sucking ass and all that, and a hundred percent, but bro, the self-inflicted shoot yourself in the foot penalties.

[SPEAKER_03]: This team makes is absolutely insane eight games into the season.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's not going to change at this point.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like how does this even, if I don't understand how he allows this to even get out of training camp.

[SPEAKER_03]: There shouldn't be a thing.

[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of us that offensive line too.

[SPEAKER_03]: Best offensive line in college.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's predominantly the offensive line.

[SPEAKER_06]: Let's have the best offensive line in football starts with the best coach.

[SPEAKER_06]: Listen, and the whole thing is.

[SPEAKER_06]: We can't have nice.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't understand how you can't.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's good.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't understand how you can't get worse.

[SPEAKER_04]: Real quick, we can't have nice things.

[SPEAKER_04]: I sure we had the best offense, terrible defense back to breakfast.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now we have a great defense.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now we have a terrible offense.

[SPEAKER_04]: We had so many emotional penalties last year.

[SPEAKER_04]: We couldn't get it corrected.

[SPEAKER_04]: We don't have emotional penalties this year.

[SPEAKER_04]: But now we don't know how to line up.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's amazing.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's amazing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Can't have nice things as a matter of your kid fan.

[SPEAKER_06]: And the team plays on smart, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: It just seems as though they're so undisciplined.

[SPEAKER_06]: Again, today.

[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, they lead the, nearly the country in penalties per game, right?

[SPEAKER_03]: I think I have like 11 I think for like 90 or something like that.

[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it's just stupid penalties itself.

[SPEAKER_06]: Like you said, it's procedural for the most part.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's procedural snap and just fucking, yeah, I don't stop.

[SPEAKER_06]: You think it's a play is loud.

[SPEAKER_04]: We were getting play.

[SPEAKER_04]: We had to call time out twice because we weren't getting the plays at the time.

[SPEAKER_04]: Right.

[SPEAKER_04]: How do you not know to go into your game and, like, if we're short, I already have my next play ready to go up, but we're like, Carson's getting the play is looking out.

[SPEAKER_06]: There was the one.

[SPEAKER_06]: just speaking about that.

[SPEAKER_06]: There was one of Fletch came in and Beck's looking for the play from Fletcher and he's like basically you don't have the play and Fletch's like, I don't have the play and he's looking over the side line going, anybody have the play and that's they had to call a timeout because he was like, whoa, I [SPEAKER_06]: And anyone, and you, you know, I mean, look, Beck, very frustrated today, very visibly frustrated today, and it was a lot of the procedural aspect of it.

[SPEAKER_06]: The one that we called the time out, we're back at it under control, right, before the play clock where they ran that little slip to Tony, which was going to get [SPEAKER_06]: a lot of yardage and then they come back and don't get it.

[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_06]: Rowan all fuzzy.

[SPEAKER_06]: He was like, screw this amount.

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what happened.

[SPEAKER_06]: There he is.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm hurting.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_05]: There's, I mean, there's so much bad to talk.

[SPEAKER_05]: You know, you want to hear something positive?

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to tell you something positive.

[SPEAKER_06]: Just only because I think it's positive.

[SPEAKER_06]: I sent a, uh, a tweet out earlier today.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: What's her that over a million views.

[SPEAKER_03]: But it was a positive one.

[SPEAKER_03]: It was a positive one.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, read that tweet read that one.

[SPEAKER_06]: The most active, the most activity on any tweet we've ever sent in the last nine years.

[SPEAKER_06]: Sure.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'll read it for you.

[SPEAKER_06]: It says it says the season is literally over.

[SPEAKER_06]: No ACC championship.

[SPEAKER_06]: No playoffs.

[SPEAKER_06]: Just another November failure.

[SPEAKER_06]: Nothing ever changes.

[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that's not none of that is incorrect.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's all, that's all true.

[SPEAKER_06]: Those are all true.

[SPEAKER_04]: Just hit it the right place at the right time and hit it right with the Miami fan base and everybody in the country.

[SPEAKER_04]: Bye.

[SPEAKER_04]: Goodness.

[SPEAKER_04]: Damn.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Not smart enough.

[SPEAKER_04]: No, not smart enough.

[SPEAKER_04]: And the NFL is being dominated by really smart ingenuity filled and backed off.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's just those guys are super creative week to week.

[SPEAKER_04]: But if you want to just be basic, I don't know, college, you can't have the same thing and if I get that, but you got to be more than what you are.

[SPEAKER_04]: But I do think the ACC reps and especially this crew, absolutely criminal.

[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.

[SPEAKER_03]: And you're right, bro, they sought however you need to understand that up until this game our fan base was a huge fan of head referee Jerry Magalonus, all right, just so you know, he's been in two major Kings games that you loved him for making all these calls.

[SPEAKER_03]: He called the Duke lateral game.

[SPEAKER_03]: That was his game.

[SPEAKER_03]: He shouldn't be wrapping anymore and then the Virginia Tech game last year That was his game as well.

[SPEAKER_03]: He should be breathable.

[SPEAKER_03]: He is awful.

[SPEAKER_03]: What are he that makes him keep on them out there?

[SPEAKER_01]: This makes it worse.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean that like literally you are you kidding me like I'm like enough as enough in the powers that be again like [SPEAKER_03]: So many PIs not called, bro.

[SPEAKER_04]: You get attacked in the outside of this.

[SPEAKER_04]: Listen, you get an independent review referee board.

[SPEAKER_04]: You go ahead and look at the calls.

[SPEAKER_04]: You find it out.

[SPEAKER_04]: You send it on their thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: You say enough.

[SPEAKER_04]: You ask for this crew to be suspended when they tell you know, you put them and you just leave you a fine on them.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like just be like you're not doing this to us.

[SPEAKER_04]: They protect them.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why they're so protected.

[SPEAKER_04]: like they're the most protected species in the planet.

[SPEAKER_04]: It drives me insane.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like I could, I could complain to anybody in this world.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's anybody, I, I, I, I, I, I, I call the president.

[SPEAKER_04]: Here's the worst part, row.

[SPEAKER_04]: Here's the worst part.

[SPEAKER_04]: And say, whatever I want to say, but you can't say anything about these refs, nothing.

[SPEAKER_03]: Nationally, nationally, the ACT is getting praised for their officials because of the looking replay nonsense that they started this year.

[SPEAKER_03]: And so, everyone is praising them for that ignoring the fact not realizing that I'm the field outside of that.

[SPEAKER_03]: It is the most atrocious officiating human have ever seen.

[SPEAKER_03]: But see, okay, they praised that.

[SPEAKER_04]: his throwing motion is coming forward.

[SPEAKER_04]: How about that?

[SPEAKER_04]: How about the he's hitting his arm as it's for his ex.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's physics because the guy said he was a fumble.

[SPEAKER_04]: That cost that cost that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Malachi told you to last play the game I lost my mind too.

[SPEAKER_04]: Malachi told he's whatever, but the route behind him is physically.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that tackled.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then life was really trying to hold up Jennings.

[SPEAKER_04]: That was a bad call.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then you turn around and you don't call P.I.

[SPEAKER_04]: on that.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're getting the game.

[SPEAKER_01]: Not only.

[SPEAKER_04]: And they called holding and holding the guys slipped and fell.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then he just landed on top of me called them holding.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right, you are you kidding me?

[SPEAKER_06]: Not only was the the pass interference.

[SPEAKER_06]: Not called it was discussed.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, it was they talked about it to say that it wasn't pass interference.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's that's Jerry.

[SPEAKER_06]: some wild stuff that's some wild stuff that's some wild stuff.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we shouldn't have been in that situation.

[SPEAKER_06]: No, that's correct.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's correct.

[SPEAKER_06]: If you were to call them a 90 set and fucking procedural penalties.

[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, you guys can't clean that up.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's incredible to me.

[SPEAKER_06]: Truly amazing.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's on him, too.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's a Mario.

[SPEAKER_06]: Of course it's on Mario.

[SPEAKER_04]: Who else is it going to be on fucking the lunch person?

[SPEAKER_04]: You could get plays in right?

[SPEAKER_04]: Again, you got 25 seconds in a timeout.

[SPEAKER_04]: Apparently you think you could roll over timeouts.

[SPEAKER_04]: Probably we're taking that timeout when we play next against Syracuse.

[SPEAKER_04]: Great job, Mario.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's one shot like 40 yards down the middle of the field called timeout and try a long field.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, here's my thing, too.

[SPEAKER_04]: Here's my thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: They kicked it like five yards back at the end, so there was no thought to go ahead and try to return.

[SPEAKER_04]: Why wouldn't you try or return there?

[SPEAKER_04]: That is probably the safest time to ride a return.

[SPEAKER_04]: You got 25 seconds.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care if that thing's touching that.

[SPEAKER_04]: And you get tackled at the five that got no time outs.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'll just kneel.

[SPEAKER_04]: We get out.

[SPEAKER_04]: But you don't with the, this is who you brought in there to return kicks.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's like, he just goes like this.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not getting it, but then later on he like returns it out of bounds instead of taking it on to 35 like the team intelligence.

[SPEAKER_04]: Why?

[SPEAKER_06]: No, this is true.

[SPEAKER_06]: I guarantee it because they want to avoid any chance of a fumble.

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, they realize because because why?

[SPEAKER_06]: Because of the conservativeness and the fact that [SPEAKER_06]: They're just trying not to lose.

[SPEAKER_06]: All the time, it's true.

[SPEAKER_06]: You can't tell me that's not the case.

[SPEAKER_06]: You can't tell me anytime we have a decent lead that we just go into our shell and do our best not to lose it.

[SPEAKER_06]: Guys, don't lose this game.

[SPEAKER_06]: As opposed to winning the game, let's try not to lose this, okay?

[SPEAKER_04]: We'll lead on our running game at this point.

[SPEAKER_06]: I want you to pay attention, everybody come in close.

[SPEAKER_06]: Hold hands.

[SPEAKER_06]: Do your best try not to lose this game.

[SPEAKER_06]: Everything changes it just it's it's so you know that's the case.

[SPEAKER_06]: You know that's the case.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's why they want to give it to them.

[SPEAKER_06]: They want to give it to them on the 25.

[SPEAKER_06]: So they can kneel it.

[SPEAKER_06]: So not only did you.

[SPEAKER_06]: not want to return the kick.

[SPEAKER_06]: This shirt is fucking driving me crazy in this, in this video.

[SPEAKER_06]: I know it's driving me crazy.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's driving me nuts.

[SPEAKER_06]: I will tell you this.

[SPEAKER_06]: Look at me.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like [SPEAKER_03]: Someone at the University of Miami has a legitimate come to Jesus meeting with Mario and let's have know that while there's definitely been steps made forward.

[SPEAKER_03]: It looks like we might be having some issues in plaid towing.

[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like, this isn't good enough.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's got to know that his job isn't completely safe.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's got to know that they are in a hundred percent thrilled with him.

[SPEAKER_03]: Someone's got to let him know that.

[SPEAKER_03]: Because maybe that will cause him to tweak.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's his alma mater.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's just want to get fired.

[SPEAKER_03]: But if he knows that they're might, you know, what?

[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, they're not a hundred, they're not is all in on me as they were.

[SPEAKER_03]: They were a hundred percent all in and now they're eighty percent all in.

[SPEAKER_03]: And they still love me, they want me to fix this, but they've pointed out that there might be a coat and I got to address a couple of things.

[SPEAKER_03]: Someone's got to have the balls to have that conversation, right?

[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody, damn somebody!

[SPEAKER_03]: I'd have it with him.

[SPEAKER_03]: I know I will, bro, but I don't know they're talking about that's gonna happen.

[SPEAKER_03]: But see, but this is not true.

[SPEAKER_03]: You can be arranged for you to get locked in a room, like in a room, like in a room.

[SPEAKER_04]: Because, but you gotta understand something.

[SPEAKER_04]: You gotta understand my background, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: One day, it's just kinda hit me, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you guys know what I do for a living.

[SPEAKER_04]: That kinda takes you and puts you into like perilous places and I've liked to do what I've done and okay, running into a burning building.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, that's cool.

[SPEAKER_04]: But you can't have enough courage to go have a difficult conversation with a human being.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like, what kind of hypocrites are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I can't do that to myself.

[SPEAKER_04]: I can't live on one side and be like, oh, I'd run into a burning building.

[SPEAKER_04]: But I'm gonna let that building just burn to the ground.

[SPEAKER_04]: Somebody has to have the conversation.

[SPEAKER_04]: Somebody on the staff needs to have a conversation.

[SPEAKER_04]: Somebody needs to walk right up to them and say, you're five and 10 late, and this league is laughing at you.

[SPEAKER_04]: they beat you every single time when it matters.

[SPEAKER_04]: They know exactly what you're doing.

[SPEAKER_04]: And if you're fine with that brother, [SPEAKER_04]: fine because we'll stay here for a couple more years.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'll be looking for a new job.

[SPEAKER_04]: You'll have millions of dollars sipping your cat sipping your cat macitos and some NFL team will probably hire you.

[SPEAKER_04]: You got a bright future ahead of you.

[SPEAKER_04]: And I'll put my app somewhere else.

[SPEAKER_04]: But I got no problem talking to him.

[SPEAKER_04]: Zero zero.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what makes it happen.

[SPEAKER_04]: Zero.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know, say it because if I was an episode, I'm like, I'm like, come on now, like you got to be better than this.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like it has to be because as we said, listen, this is, this is, and all of you that are talking about firing him, bro, this, the universe of my aim is never going to be in a position where they're going to do a buyout this more than like $10 million.

[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_03]: So you're looking at at least four to five more years.

[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, legitimately, before the three years before they even start seriously discussing it amongst themselves.

[SPEAKER_03]: So, [SPEAKER_03]: Unless there's a conversation that's had, it's gonna be a long three heaps for us because we're gonna keep seeing the same thing over and over again and it's probably gonna get a little bit worse because everyone will literally know what you're doing all the time the early season wins won't even be coming anymore And listen, let me hear the other issue the name is the issue whether recruiting trail he has been he's had a pitch [SPEAKER_03]: But four years in now, he has nothing to show for that pitch.

[SPEAKER_03]: So when you're five, now he's pitching what everyone else has fantasies that may come true.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like he has nothing now to say, look at what we've done outside of a fictional state championship or two.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like so, that's gonna be other, they're not gonna recruit against him.

[SPEAKER_03]: What has he, he's promising all this?

[SPEAKER_03]: What are they accomplished?

[SPEAKER_04]: It's, I'm not even worried about the recruiting pitch, because yeah, it's gonna hit a recruiting about town.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's the recruiting pitch, because just like Mikey's figuring out, those collectives, it's harder to collect money.

[SPEAKER_04]: When you don't believe in the product, it was easier to collect money at, you know, earlier in the season.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's gonna be a lot harder to collect from the collective now.

[SPEAKER_03]: You think, Dana, watch, Wadders is loose, [SPEAKER_03]: You think you're going to have the budget to go get the next car set back?

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, that's what I'm saying like you go with every moving forward and not in Luke And so what you got and I at this area in common better be the goods he better be the goods because he's actually what we need a running quarter back that can go outside the pocket and make some things happen Because it's clear as day that if you don't have somebody who can improvise and go off schedule He's not and I've all said I've always said this.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's like [SPEAKER_04]: The more your quarterback side, Tom Brady, the more diversified your offense and formations and sets and things needs to be.

[SPEAKER_04]: The more your quarterback's Lamar Jackson, the less it needs to be, because he's just going to make you look good.

[SPEAKER_04]: Because he's the consummate putting your playmaker just by snapping the ball to him.

[SPEAKER_04]: You put him in a position to succeed and Shannon just hasn't been able to figure that out.

[SPEAKER_04]: And for the record and I've said it, I think multiple times I don't want Mario fired.

[SPEAKER_06]: I, he's able to ask you guys a question, you know, toasted mentioned earlier in the season about how confident, how calm Mario seemed.

[SPEAKER_06]: because he knew what he had, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: And maybe that's still the case.

[SPEAKER_06]: Look, I think our bigger issue as far as the recruiting stuff is gonna be able to keep some of our really elite current talent on this roster.

[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's going to be a big, big, big problem.

[SPEAKER_06]: I would agree on.

[SPEAKER_06]: He seems, he still seems that way on the sideline.

[SPEAKER_06]: very much energy, vigor, like when he was at Oregon, when he was, yeah, when he was at Oregon, man, he was on fire on that sideline.

[SPEAKER_06]: Like, like, it was a different guy.

[SPEAKER_06]: Now I think, you know, I mean, obviously you get a little older, sometimes you come down a little bit.

[SPEAKER_06]: But you know what I mean?

[SPEAKER_06]: Like, it's he also got, maybe he's talking to all of them.

[SPEAKER_06]: You need to chill out some.

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, there was a one with a kid, one with a player.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he got some shit for us.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, yes, yes.

[SPEAKER_06]: None of that happens.

[SPEAKER_06]: Like, even when he was complaining today about the personal foul and life foot didn't hear the whistle, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I don't think he heard it, like it just, the fire just seems to not be there with him on the sideline during, maybe he seems very, very subdued.

[SPEAKER_03]: Bro, 10 years, 80 million man guaranteed.

[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you're an asshole.

[SPEAKER_01]: They got to be.

[SPEAKER_01]: They get paid.

[SPEAKER_03]: Bro, he's 55 with the middle of a guaranteed 80 million dollar deal.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's set.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's over.

[SPEAKER_06]: Like, saving would have been out of his skin on a couple of those calls.

[SPEAKER_04]: Think it's something to do with saving at his coordinators.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's our region that he had laid.

[SPEAKER_04]: Then he had a bright atmosphere.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know, it's a ball.

[SPEAKER_04]: No, I'm talking coordinators.

[SPEAKER_04]: Offensive questions.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I'm sorry, yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know, guys who've been to the NFL, it's like he gets gattys.

[SPEAKER_04]: He was a fraud.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I'm saying then you get Shannon Dawson and he's good when he has a quarterback I guess you need a generational quarterback and he's just I don't know that it's just it's weird it's weird I mean it's it's they don't they don't see the picture [SPEAKER_04]: They don't see the picture.

[SPEAKER_04]: We've been at this a lot of tie boys.

[SPEAKER_04]: We've seen this.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is this is nothing new.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is nothing new.

[SPEAKER_04]: But listen to scoops point.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think all of us really legitimately.

[SPEAKER_03]: We're on the belief that after 25 years, if this was ever really going to flip and turn back into our favor, it was going to be.

[SPEAKER_05]: I think that's what I think.

[SPEAKER_03]: And now the what hurts the most is being four years in and being oh fuck like.

[SPEAKER_03]: is it's not going to be it and knowing that there's no exit strategy for his for more.

[SPEAKER_04]: But that's what I'm that's why I'm saying that I don't want him to be fired because I believe it.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm so much as a recruiter.

[SPEAKER_04]: I believe in him as like, you know, a mentor.

[SPEAKER_04]: I believe in what he is.

[SPEAKER_04]: I believe in this trenches.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, the ability to get Jason Taylor.

[SPEAKER_04]: So somebody thinks ability to talent, ability to spot talent.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he fixed what was broken.

[SPEAKER_04]: But now he's got to fix what what he's got to fix.

[SPEAKER_04]: What I don't think he's ever been able to fix and that's himself is the same reputation stubborn relies on the interior run game too much bad game day decisions.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's got to fix himself and the best way you do that can seed tap out can seed tap out surround yourself especially on the offensive side of the ball with some of the most bright and ingenuity of minds that you know because when you go for searches that's not what you look for.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's not what you do.

[SPEAKER_04]: You don't do it.

[SPEAKER_04]: You were impressed from Shannon Dawson, and I quote, I was surprised for an air raid guy, how much he knew the run game?

[SPEAKER_04]: Who cares?

[SPEAKER_04]: Right, I want somebody who knows everything.

[SPEAKER_04]: Everything.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, everything.

[SPEAKER_04]: Surround yourself with somebody way smarter than you.

[SPEAKER_04]: On that side of the ball.

[SPEAKER_04]: Cause it's not working.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's not working.

[SPEAKER_04]: or keep doing what you're doing and collect your millions and we don't care because sun rises in the east sets in the west and my army hurricanes suck in November.

[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's very true.

[SPEAKER_04]: Man, that's true.

[SPEAKER_04]: All of those are factual.

[SPEAKER_06]: 100%.

[SPEAKER_06]: Those are all factual.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_06]: And, and, you know, I.

[SPEAKER_06]: I think there are a lot more people on my train now.

[SPEAKER_06]: I think there's a lot more people catching in that caboose.

[SPEAKER_06]: But I think you overactually overshot.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm looking seven and five.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, no, I was talking about people where the, yeah, no, I look at the force.

[SPEAKER_06]: You know, what was it three weeks ago, three weeks ago, like four, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: I was like, oh, my god, how are we going to get to four losses?

[SPEAKER_06]: Best case scenario.

[SPEAKER_04]: Really easily now, best case scenarios.

[SPEAKER_04]: What happened last year?

[SPEAKER_04]: Like, sure, the table go 10 into don't get in the ACC championship game.

[SPEAKER_04]: go get into the playoffs and then you watch Carson Beck opt out, which I don't know why he would.

[SPEAKER_04]: You lose another meaningless bowl game, poptarks, bulls, some stuff like that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe you can actually win a bull and then if you did that, you're 11 and two, you're already playing for next season for this time.

[SPEAKER_03]: But you got it out this teaming win enough.

[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_06]: You had a playoff game and you essentially put up seven points again in the first half 20 points total just just one team [SPEAKER_06]: two two games in a row, you put up stuff and then Malachi returns it to the six and you can't even punch it in, it's it was one of those things were like, you know, we're like fuck, you really need to score there.

[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that's the point we've gotten to tour like, oh no, he got pushed out or fucked.

[SPEAKER_06]: everything like we're not we're not getting best case scenario three points hitters dead or lice you I just looked out what you like that these things this is a a capital life that's what it is for life and it is yes yes yeah I like those are nice those are good we're gonna go to the church yeah that's a much more what I was saying toast is I think a lot more people are now on the bandwagon with me which is look guys [SPEAKER_06]: This is really important.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm being serious.

[SPEAKER_06]: Mental health is a very important thing in this world, especially these days, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: I need everyone to do your very best to not allow what you know is the inevitable to bother you, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: Honestly, I don't give a shit that we lost today.

[SPEAKER_06]: I predicted us to lose today.

[SPEAKER_06]: I expected us to lose today.

[SPEAKER_06]: I did, truly.

[SPEAKER_06]: Otherwise, I wouldn't have picked it.

[SPEAKER_06]: We were sitting at our late in the game.

[SPEAKER_06]: And I said, is it a good time to tell you that we were up for the rep 2017?

[SPEAKER_06]: And I looked at stuff.

[SPEAKER_06]: I said, it's a good time to tell you that I picked us to lose 27-21 today.

[SPEAKER_06]: It just goes from, why would you do that?

[SPEAKER_06]: And I was like, because I think we're going to lose today.

[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm not doing it, just it's OK.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's OK.

[SPEAKER_06]: Like, if you go and you look at my Twitter account, my personal one, which I don't tweet a ton for, because I'm usually from the other big account, that's like a beautiful picture of the backyard looking out over the lake and the pool.

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't give a shit because you haven't proven to me, you haven't given me enough to care.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's the truth.

[SPEAKER_06]: I've been through this for 20 some odd years of it being dog shit.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's okay.

[SPEAKER_06]: I still love the case.

[SPEAKER_06]: I still do this show every week.

[SPEAKER_06]: Sometimes twice a week because I love this program and I love my friends.

[SPEAKER_06]: and you're talking down to niss, bother me in my life on a daily basis.

[SPEAKER_06]: Don't fucking care.

[SPEAKER_06]: You know it's gonna happen.

[SPEAKER_06]: You know it's gonna happen in November.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's fully expected as I did in my preseason picks.

[SPEAKER_06]: I had us five and I knew this team would fall apart.

[SPEAKER_06]: You can't tell me otherwise.

[SPEAKER_06]: You can't prove to me otherwise because you aren't able to do it.

[SPEAKER_06]: Ever.

[SPEAKER_06]: Ever.

[SPEAKER_06]: And I don't think you'll ever do it.

[SPEAKER_06]: So true, ever.

[SPEAKER_06]: So I don't care.

[SPEAKER_06]: So everyone enjoy watching the games as I did.

[SPEAKER_06]: But when he runs it in off tackle, games over, all right, let's go do something fun.

[SPEAKER_06]: Let's go do something actually matters in our lives.

[SPEAKER_04]: This doesn't matter.

[SPEAKER_04]: Speaking of mental health.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think there's going to be a student in the game this week.

[SPEAKER_04]: And for no other reason is, I'm, I'm at work.

[SPEAKER_04]: Our Wi-Fi went down and I'm sick as a dog.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_03]: You're good, bro.

[SPEAKER_03]: You're good.

[SPEAKER_04]: So, so I apologize.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_04]: I apologize, but I don't think I'm going to be able to do it.

[SPEAKER_04]: I tried a version of it through like an alternate, alternate universe and set up without things and it's just, [SPEAKER_04]: it's just not working.

[SPEAKER_04]: So, so I had the circus.

[SPEAKER_03]: I have someone reach out to me on a text and say you realize that they started this losing streak after you guys stopped doing streams and I apologize for that.

[SPEAKER_03]: But you know, this is my busy time like, you know, this is just yeah, it's not like a problem.

[SPEAKER_06]: I promise you that's not the reason.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sure it's not the [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, is the reason is the reason.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, yes, and and inevitably this team That's a ACC.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's got a really good coaches man.

[SPEAKER_04]: They really do they they top the bottom.

[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't get enough credit They got some they're gonna get another good one if you believe what Vortex about the bowl with the Franklin yeah So I mean even the funked North Carolina has one of the best NFL coaches in terms of super balls ever [SPEAKER_03]: I just a little, let's just point out that maybe everyone writing him off or dead was a little bit premature.

[SPEAKER_03]: He took Virginia over time and now goes ahead and knocks off.

[SPEAKER_03]: Um, well, they just beat, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_03]: Whatever.

[SPEAKER_03]: Who are we talking about?

[SPEAKER_03]: Bell check.

[SPEAKER_03]: You wouldn't see him as when nice.

[SPEAKER_03]: Nice.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like poop.

[SPEAKER_03]: All right.

[SPEAKER_03]: Let's, let's, let's, let's call that.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: I will roll you in and get some sleep.

[SPEAKER_03]: So we will see you guys this week.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I want to talk more about this.

[SPEAKER_06]: This is fun.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: All right.

[SPEAKER_06]: What's your more.

[SPEAKER_06]: What do you want to talk about?

[SPEAKER_03]: I have no idea.

[SPEAKER_04]: I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, he kind of alligator him to bounce off Carson and then you got Danny Cannell and his bitch ass sitting there being like, oh, there's another Carson back there.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, bro, that one doesn't even on him and the one at the end of the game when you need it in your and over time, you just three by one choice with Malachi to come on dude.

[SPEAKER_04]: I would come off the sign line, I'm like, yeah, to give me something better than that home.

[SPEAKER_04]: Everything was covered.

[SPEAKER_04]: Everything was covered.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it was a bad ball.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's going to be a red grade in terms of an interception but still.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's on me, but you got to give me better.

[SPEAKER_04]: You got to give me [SPEAKER_06]: that's it.

[SPEAKER_06]: This is there there's secondary is the worst in the conference.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's what I was talking about this.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm upset you're not now I'm upset you're not doing it soon to get worst in the conference.

[SPEAKER_06]: We have completely lost the ability to go over the top.

[SPEAKER_04]: We don't we just don't scoop.

[SPEAKER_06]: We just don't care what you don't care.

[SPEAKER_06]: We just don't we it's incredible to me This defense the defense of secondary is atrocious.

[SPEAKER_06]: They're so bad.

[SPEAKER_04]: We refuse you got the best to go over the top You got you established the best of all day and not once did they try to go over the last time they did try to foreign receptions [SPEAKER_04]: not a single time.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but the last time it was for interceptions, it was against Louisville.

[SPEAKER_03]: I understand, but that was going over the top.

[SPEAKER_04]: But this was Louisville.

[SPEAKER_04]: He ends up hitting the earlier scene ball and stuff like that.

[SPEAKER_04]: You don't create thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: He just...

[SPEAKER_04]: He's not a creative guy.

[SPEAKER_04]: He wasn't overly creative with Kim or to either.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's not like he's the bad guy, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: You know, he's not making tons of bad plays.

[SPEAKER_04]: We put a quantity.

[SPEAKER_04]: We try to put a quantitative element to it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Shaves, motions, personnel, the design, anything gadget-wise.

[SPEAKER_04]: We're actually had a couple of gadget plays that got us today.

[SPEAKER_04]: Trying a couple more, maybe they didn't work.

[SPEAKER_04]: It is what it is.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, [SPEAKER_04]: And it's like, when it mattered, they went into bare front, they came down.

[SPEAKER_04]: They were bringing safeties in the boxes.

[SPEAKER_04]: They knew you were going to run, but you still ran into the teeth of it, because that's just what you do.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's just what they did.

[SPEAKER_04]: They brought a safety down pretty much the entire day, and you never tried to beat him over the early, early on, no, second then you did, and then you did, and then, and then when it, like I said, but when it matters, it's just that it is, bro, you're not smart enough.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'll say it's a lot.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're not smart enough.

[SPEAKER_03]: So listen, let me just say to everyone that's been watching and tuning in for this portion of the season, we've had like awesome amazing numbers.

[SPEAKER_03]: I understand that a portion of you will now just stop because that's what happens once that second loss happens.

[SPEAKER_03]: But hit subscribe before you leave and remember we do keep doing this throughout the off season.

[SPEAKER_03]: We'll be back for you after you drink some cool late in July.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and if five questions comes back I will leave a little rough walking goddamn again 1.1 million Scoop just Bravo my man, but that's not even but that was only one of them you realize it a lot of second.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my Oh, no, we've had a monster day on Twitter.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yes [SPEAKER_03]: There's another one and and seriously, we are going to be dropping some merch some fun little merch.

[SPEAKER_03]: So be on the lookout.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's going to drop this week.

[SPEAKER_03]: So you'll be able to get have fun for life t-shirts and this one is good shit man.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's good shit.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's good shit.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's good shit.

[SPEAKER_00]: We gotta hit this.

[SPEAKER_03]: If we're stuck with it for another six years, you might as well have fun with it.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's just annoying with like, there's not only like 75.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh no, it was a, it was a big day.

[SPEAKER_03]: It was a big day.

[SPEAKER_06]: There was a really, it was unfortunate.

[SPEAKER_03]: All right.

[SPEAKER_03]: So boys and girls, we'll see you guys that later this week.

[SPEAKER_03]: Hopefully, Ro feel better, my man.

[SPEAKER_06]: She, we put a, she will put a immediate request in for.

[SPEAKER_03]: for some of the coaching staff, you know, we always do in just a year a quest I put in the city, but more in, but I'm going to get a minute years.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'd like 20 emails.

[SPEAKER_01]: Just for you all know, it's for anybody.

[SPEAKER_03]: We put in requests with Miami to have coaches and stuff on and they don't reply to us.

[SPEAKER_03]: So just so you know, when you see the one of the right packets, I know we're going to pass, they just don't respond.

[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we had a spare ball on years ago.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was actually a really good air music right now.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then we ended up getting Joaquino on there.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then this was it is.

[SPEAKER_03]: But, you know, we're listen, we've never actually gotten an interview through proper channels.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's correct.

[SPEAKER_00]: Which is right.

[SPEAKER_00]: Which is right.

[SPEAKER_03]: Which is right.

[SPEAKER_00]: Which is right.

[SPEAKER_03]: We put in, like, and just you got to, we've put in for we put in for Katie Meyer, the woman's basketball coach.

[SPEAKER_03]: We put in for baseball, so it was like, not even talking just like the big name football.

[SPEAKER_03]: We're putting in for other sports as well, not even a reply.

[SPEAKER_01]: to seven different members of the athletic department.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like not like people.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know how I don't even care because I was going to say, I don't you know what I'm going to do.

[SPEAKER_06]: However, what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it [SPEAKER_06]: The reality is, um, I don't want to, but let's be honest.

[SPEAKER_04]: I just thank you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Because here's the reality.

[SPEAKER_04]: The minute we have Mario Chris the ball on the show, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: We do phenomenal interviews.

[SPEAKER_04]: I love the dynamics of us, but we have done over the years.

[SPEAKER_04]: Some really, really phenomenal interviews.

[SPEAKER_04]: We're good at that.

[SPEAKER_04]: We really are.

[SPEAKER_04]: But I know the second Mario Chris ball comes on to this show.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm still gonna ask some questions, and yeah, I could get or whatever, but it's almost like, nah, I like being on this side.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I'm saying?

[SPEAKER_04]: I like being on this side.

[SPEAKER_04]: With the fans, I don't have to cater to you.

[SPEAKER_04]: You could just stay on your high horse over there.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I'm one of the fans, bro.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's always will be with one of the fans.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know what many times people ask me?

[SPEAKER_04]: Rho, Rho, why don't you have to be an analyst with them?

[SPEAKER_04]: No thanks.

[SPEAKER_04]: No, it's no chance in the world, zero, zero, zero.

[SPEAKER_04]: No chance.

[SPEAKER_04]: I love being a dad, I love hanging out with these guys, I love my you, no.

[SPEAKER_04]: Let me stay on this side of street, run my mouth because I told you earlier, I refuse to be micromanaged.

[SPEAKER_04]: I cannot be micromanaged.

[SPEAKER_04]: I can never be his coach if he was trying to micromanage my ass, but I know, no.

[SPEAKER_03]: All right.

[SPEAKER_03]: No.

[SPEAKER_03]: They scoop both loves your hat.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's boat, my brain, uh, uh, the artist, the king's artist, uh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm in it on your hat, loves it.

[SPEAKER_03]: This one, you know, the hashtag, it'll be big.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: Nice boat, boat, see if it's.

[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: Get him one, bro.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, Brad Bear, I believe it is.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's phenomenal.

[SPEAKER_03]: Great.

[SPEAKER_04]: I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no, I've got no [SPEAKER_03]: We'll see you guys later this week.

[SPEAKER_03]: Who are we playing this?

[SPEAKER_06]: Who are we going to lose to this week?

[SPEAKER_03]: It's a life-fuck Syracuse.

[SPEAKER_03]: Sam Brown, talk about that.

[SPEAKER_06]: I had a suggestion that came too.

[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no, no, no.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think they were back there.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're holding back hand throw a Ford pass.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're like, yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, hold on now, you want to you want to find ways to lose.

[SPEAKER_06]: You did S M U S M U had 23 rushing yards today.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, they did at 20.

[SPEAKER_06]: All in over time, yes, all in over time.

[SPEAKER_06]: 23 rushing yards.

[SPEAKER_06]: You guys hear me on this?

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, how much have we spent on the second there?

[SPEAKER_06]: They had all 23 yards in O and I.

I don't blame them.

[SPEAKER_04]: Me lost to that.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't blame them because they Carson Beck just threw an interception.

[SPEAKER_04]: The offense is cheeks.

[SPEAKER_04]: They realize that they've been there.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're not stupid.

[SPEAKER_04]: I already have fieldable rants.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you don't think they watch off it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: Last I just got a raise.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's not an idiot.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's gonna win the game.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, good for him.

[SPEAKER_04]: Good for him.

[SPEAKER_04]: I do not like him as an S like I like them as I might be hurt.

[SPEAKER_04]: Don't don't get this twisted because y'all you're relishy fit.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's a opposing coach on SMU.

[SPEAKER_04]: I want him to lose.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't, I don't give him two shits about him or many ideas.

[SPEAKER_04]: Trust me, trust me when I tell you that.

[SPEAKER_04]: So what I'm saying yeah, good for him.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's facetious.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's definitely sarcastic.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's very cool to see all these guys re-upping.

[SPEAKER_03]: This is going to be in the very interesting coaching care.

[SPEAKER_03]: I know.

[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, I'm back on YouTube.

[SPEAKER_03]: And we thought we're going to move up.

[SPEAKER_03]: Or like, yeah, I'm going to show it.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm back on your side, though.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm back on your side, though.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think they need to bust these coaches salaries up.

[SPEAKER_00]: At least a buy-on.

[SPEAKER_04]: 1,000%.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: like if if this is your four don't ever fire Mario cuz they owe him too much money but if this is your four into a 10 year and you can't get it done like you should that you should not before you should be a few should know your seat as hot as fuck yeah like look did we brought you in we made all these moves we spent all this money we upgraded facilities we did this we did this we did this [SPEAKER_04]: We got you what you needed this is this is four years you might get five on to the next But you can't because the cost of doing business was that high, but they need to blow it up And if they got to do it using legislation then feel free feel free coming back these guys are state institutions I know where private school.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I know that's a little bit different But once they set the standard on the state side Miami's under no obligation They're not like well, I'm not gonna give you an $80 million by out Mario I'm gonna give you what the rest of the state schools do [SPEAKER_03]: Listen, the reality is is that if the coaching salaries structure and everything incentive base does happen, it will happen at some time in the next few years.

[SPEAKER_03]: So by the time Miami is in the process of higher again, it will be that sort of a contract.

[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's the good way to look at it.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: This would be the last time we have an albatross.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can't, you can't hold universities hostage.

[SPEAKER_04]: No, I hate Florida State.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm glad that that Mike Norville's [SPEAKER_04]: But in my heart of hearts, you cannot hold your college, state, college.

[SPEAKER_04]: Tax subsidiary based institution, hostage by a dude who fucking sucks.

[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, all right.

[SPEAKER_03]: Anything else, Scooby?

[SPEAKER_06]: No.

[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm...

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_03]: We will see you guys later this week, as always.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, fuck, really.

[SPEAKER_03]: All right, do it.

[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, let's go.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, let's go.

[SPEAKER_06]: All right, eight for eight.

[SPEAKER_06]: Bage.

[SPEAKER_06]: I hate this team.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's another episode in the books.

[SPEAKER_05]: What are you waiting for?

[SPEAKER_05]: Somebody to kiss you goodbye?

[SPEAKER_05]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, I guess not.
