For part 2 of our Pinoy Doctors Abroad Special, we linked up with two Filipino doctors currently based in the United States. Both hailing from the University of the Philippines, Dr. Denise Sese joined us from Ohio while Dr. Nico Cabrera is in California. We talked about their journey to becoming medical practitioners in the US, the challenges they face in their profession especially in the time of Covid, the phenomenon that is "brain drain" in the Philippines, their plans for the foreseeable future, and a lot more in between. This is the first time for most of us to meet, but it sure did not feel that way as we had so much fun talking that it seemed like we've known each other for a while.
