Early news reports indicated the accused, Tyler Robinson, came from a conservative family.
President Trump is meeting with British Prime Minister Starmer this morning at Checkers, the Prime Minister's country Residents.
It's stay two of Trump's second official state visit to the UK.
After a day of ceremony with King Charles Trump and Starmer are expected to talk about a range of topics, from trade to the war in Ukraine.
Flags are being flown at half staff across Pennsylvania this morning, where three police officers were shot and killed on Wednesday.

Speaker 4The officers were serving an arrest warrant at a home in rural York County when the gunfire began.
When it was over, the suspect had been shot dead by police.
Three officers were killed and two other officers were critically injured.
But Stable Governor Jos Shapiro said the prayers of thirteen million Pennsylvanians are with the victims, their families, and the good people of York County.
The FBI is helping local police with their investigation.
