Those heading back from holiday travel may face some severe weather.

A huge winter storm across the central US could slow down holiday traffic this weekend.

Travelers in the Midwest can expect slippery, snow covered roads and flight delays from Ohio to North Dakota.

In the south central US, heavy rain and severe storms could lead to flash flooding and flight delays from East Texas to western Kentucky.

On Sunday, the winter storm will move toward the East coast, causing possible flight delays at major airports and heavy lake effect snow in parts of the northeast.

In the child abuse trial of Atlantic City's mayor and his wife, Sarah Lee Kessler has More.

Mayor Marty Small and Atlantic City Schools Superintendent Laketta Small are both charged with emotionally and physically abusing their daughter.

Prosecutors say Small, who was just re elected in a landslide, repeatedly punched the sixteen year old and beat her with a broom until she went unconscious.

The girl's mother is accused of beating the team with the belt and pulling her by the hair.

Both Smalls are pleading not guilty.

The man accused of shooting two National Guard members near the White House is now facing a murder charge.

US Attorney for DC Jeanine Piro, announced the upgrade charge Friday following the death of Sarah Beckstrom.

The other soldier shot in the incident remains hospitalized in critical condition.

The suspect is an Afghan national who worked with the US to fight the Taliban, and a new poll is suggesting most Americans no longer see a four year college degree as worth the cost.

The new NBC News poll shows only one third of registered voters agreed with this statement that a four year degree is worth the cost because people have a better chance to get a good job and earn more money over their lifetime.

Nearly two thirds agreed with the opposing statement that a four year degree is not worth the cost because people often graduate without specific job skills and with a large amount of debt to pay off.

President Trump says he's terminating any document that former President Biden allegedly use an autopin to sign Tammy Trichello has this story.

In a post on truth Social Trump said the number of documents signed with the alleged autopen was around ninety two percent.

He said an autopin isn't allowed to be used if approval isn't given by the president himself.

Trump added Biden wasn't involved in the process, and if he says he was, Trump says he'll bring Biden up on charges of perjury.

Scientists believe they have detected lightning on Mars, but it's not like the lightning found here on Earth.

In research published this week in the journal Nature, scientists describe the Mars lightning as quote many lightning that's more like the static electricity shocks you feel when you touch something metal.

Dozens of instances of the many lightning were captured by a microphone on NASA's rover.

Trump administration is increasing fees for foreign visitors at Yosemite and ten other major national parks.

Beginning January first, international tourists will pay an extra one hundred dollars per person on top of regular entry fees, while a non resident annual America The Beautiful paths jumps to two hundred and fifty bucks.

Official say the hike will boost maintenance funding.

UPS is grounding its fleet of MD eleven cargo planes indefinitely weeks after a deadly plane crash in Louisville, Kentucky.
