Road congestion and severe weather conditions could make travel tough for people heading to their holiday destinations today.

Aaron Gilcrest says people are traveling in record numbers and highways are crowded.

Here in the Atlanta region, Triple A thinks the most congestion will happen this afternoon.

Same goes for New York City.

It's not just here on the East Coast either.

Out West California inundated with some flooding water rescues.

That is complicated travel.

Meantime.

Flight Aware is tracking hundreds of flight delays today with a few cancelations.

The US Coast Guard is in active pursuit of a third vessel off the coast of Venezuela.

That's according to multiple reports on Sunday.

If successful, it would be the second such operation this weekend.

The West Coast is forecast to get hit with a major winter storm.

This is remarkable time toward Los Angeles, over five inches of rain of possibility and over a foot of rain in some of the higher elevations in the Sierra, and once you get high enough up in elevation in the Sierras, a whole lot of snow from this storm.

Four to eight feet of accumulation possible in the Sierra.

Nevada Republican Congressman Thomas Massey says he and Democrat Rocanna are considering contempt charges against Attorney General Pam Bondi over the partial release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

The Deputy ag says the DOJ already is complying, and Bondi posted a statement reaffirming that the Justice Department is committed to bringing charges against anyone involved in Epstein's crimes.

Massi and Conna have been critical of the files released by the Justice Department on Friday.

In a post on x, Massey said, Friday's really least grossly fails to comply with both the spirit and the letter of the law.

DK Metcalf was seen throwing a punch at a Lions fan during the team's twenty nine to twenty four win from Detroit Sunday.

It happened in the second quarter following a verbal exchange.

Metcalf reached over the railing, grabbed the fans shirt, and threw a right handed punch at the fan's face.

Though contact appeared minimal, No flag was thrown on the field, and Metcalf stayed in the game.

The league is expected to review the incident.

James Ranzone died on Friday by suicide, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office.

Ranzone's film credits include Chapter two, The Black Phone, and Black Phone two.

He also appeared in TV shows including the cop drama Bosh and Poker Face.

He leaves behind a wife and two children.

James Ranzone was for four years old.
