Speaker 2Tyler Robinson, the man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk, is being held without bond in Utah.
During a virtual hearing in provo on Tuesday, Robinson was informed that the state intends to pursue the death penalty.
The twenty two year old appeared in a green bulletproof vest and noted as the judge spoke in ever changing his expression as all the charges against him were read out loud.
Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray said earlier that the decision to seek the death penalty was his alone.
Notably, Utah is one of five states that permit execution by firing squad if lethal injection is not an option.
President Trump and Vice President Vance will both deliver remarks at the memorial service for Charlie Kirk.

Kirk's widow, Erica, will also give remarks, along with the Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F.

Kirk was shot and killed during an event at Utah Valley University last week, and twenty two year old Utah resident Tyler Robinson has been charged with his murder.

Speaker 2FBI Director Cash Bettel says there is no credible information that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked women to anybody besides himself.
During a contentious hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Bettel insisted authorities have released all the information on Epstein that was deemed credible.
He went on to say that because a US attorney in Florida improperly narrowed the scope of an investigation into Epstein years ago, the FBI's files are limited.
Superman will fly on to HBO Max this week.

President Trump is extending the deadline for a ban on TikTok.

Speaker 4This comes after Treasury Secretary Scott Assent said Monday the US and China have reached a framework for a permanent deal by Dance the Apps, Chinese parent company, had faced a Wednesday deadline to sell the popular video sharing platform.
President Trump signed an order today that will allow TikTok to continue service in the US through at least December sixteenth of this year, and it marks the fourth the late enforcement of the looming ban.
President Trump is expected to speak with Chinese President she about the deal Friday.

Government figure show sales increase six tenths of a percent for the month as consumers spent at a faster clip than experts predicted.
Excluding auto's, sales nearly doubled forecasts and came in well ahead of July's pace.
Bars and restaurants led the way, with gas station receipts up five tenths of a percent on an annual basis.
Retail sales were up five percent across the board.
