Episode Transcript
Welcome to the I'm Still Fun Podcast.
We're found that Jenny.
Okay, I had a situation and normally I feel like this is a Jenny story.
But I did text Jenny and this is why, because I knew she would support me.
So I work at the TV show Now Heaven for a year, but I don't it's a weird setup because I don't feel like I know people in that building at all.
The Jason Show is like its own little thing and everything else there is obviously the sports are sorry news sports that so they're all in the same like I feel like everyone knows each other better on that.
Everyone's super nice to me.
They always say hi, But I'm not good with names or going out of my way to the news area saying hi to people.
I kind of just also stick to the Jason Show people.
So I go to the bathroom last week riper up and I mean, I didn't see it coming and this is TMI, but I told Jenny that I was like, it was so awful.
This girl, I don't know.
She made direct eye contact with me and the toilet was still settling, so she knew which toilet I had been in.
So she goes in right after me and I scurry out and I hear her open the door and go to a different stall.
Now that was mortifying to me because she knew what came from me eye contact.
And while I don't know her name, I'm gonna guess like she probably knows me because I'm on like that show, right right, So long story longer.
I text Jenny.
I'm like, oh god, and Jenny's like, what kind of freak?
Speaker 2Well, that's what I said.
I was like, I think it's her fault.
Yeah, it's not your fault.
She You don't ever go into a stall that's still flushing.
You know someone was just in there, even if it's peak so right, so you always go to the one that seems readily available, not still flushing.
The water is still because nobody's been in there recently.
So I just feel like she did it to herself.
I do too, But I also they don't that bath.
They have plungers, but they don't have rushes or anything.
Speaker 3Oh yeah, I can't claim.
Speaker 2So I had walked into our stalls last Friday, I think it was, And now I know I couldn't have been from you because it was in the morning.
Speaker 1Imagine first thing in the morning, blow out the work bathroom and then go back to Eden Prairie.
Speaker 2So I go into the big stall because I am changing to go to a workout class that I have two minutes to get ready for.
Speaker 3I walk in.
It was one of the most murderous scenes I've ever seen in a.
Speaker 2Toilet, and I'm like, the person didn't even try to flush, Like what causes the person to do something like that and not even at least get off flush in because everything was right there, and so I just was like, oh, and so I run into one of the little stalls.
Speaker 3I'm trying to change in there.
Speaker 2It's not easy, but and truly it didn't smell, but like, just to see that, it's really disgusting.
Speaker 1That's why I felt bad for that girl.
But then you made me feel better again that it was her fault.
And if she listens to this podcast, I do want to say I'm sorry, because I think more and more people who listen to this podcast that surprised me, and I'm always like.
Speaker 2Oh god, yeah, that's true.
I never know either.
My mom listens quite frequently too, and that makes me nervous because obviously there's no filter on this.
Speaker 1But that's what he does, because she's like, it's the only one I want to find out what's going on.
Speaker 2That's not necessarily true, because I am a pretty big open book.
I I love her, but I'm not I did tell her some things this past weekend that like she just kind of had to be a part of because it was in a group chat with my sisters and stuff, and it was very vague information, but I was like, I don't care.
Yeah, Like, my mom gets to know about this now because she's out there living her single life going on dates.
Maybe potentially somebody asked her out.
So I've been like her little sense they of how to text this person, what to say, and I helped her pick out outfits.
There's no date even set yet, but like they're talking about.
Speaker 3Figuring it out.
Speaker 2So anyways, yeah, I but speaking of dates, I will go ahead and say that I haven't seen someone.
And maybe maybe you've picked up on this if you've listened on the podcast or the morning show or whatever, but I've been pretty private about.
Speaker 3It, and yeah I haven't, don't you.
Speaker 2Yeah, I haven't spoke much about it, and I'm still probably not going to talk a ton about it at the moment.
But the one thing I'll say is that I spent some time with this person this weekend and he is running the Twin Cities Marathon next weekend.
So I'm very supportive of you want to.
Speaker 1See who it is just everyone the marathon and try to guess which one it is.
Speaker 2So I'm always very supportive of people in whatever they do, at least I try to be.
And one thing that I like is like helping people pick out good songs for playlists.
So I told them, I'm like, hey, I'm going to send you some songs that I've liked on my triathlon playlist, and I'll send you like a couple each day leaning up, and if you like them, you can add them to your playlist.
Speaker 3If you don't, I don't care.
Are they all from Big Booty Mix?
Speaker 2No, But I introduced him to that he had never heard of Big Booty Mix before in his life, and I was like, what I like, Like used to teach a fitness at a fitness gym, and so I'm like, all the people in the fitness community usually know a big Anyways, I get sidetracked, so I sent him some.
He had a like twelve mile run he was doing Saturday, and I'm like, hey, these are two songs I really like.
Check him out.
So then he's over last night and he's like, yeah, like I really like that one song you sent me bad, He's like.
And then I was like looking at the other songs you have on your.
Speaker 3Playlist and I go what.
I was like, what do you mean?
Speaker 2He's like, well, yeah, I like saw your whole playlist, and I go, that's an invasion of privacy.
I didn't know because of me sending a link of the song that was in the playlist, but that can send him directly to the full playlist, And so I do.
Speaker 1You create actual full playlist for yourself?
Speaker 2Yeah, so I created that for my last triathlon I just did a few weeks ago.
Speaker 1What what do you do you use?
Of course iHeartRadio or.
Speaker 2What Yeah, I use this, I use the thing.
And so he apparently could just like see my full playlist and I have shit on there that like it's very much about heartbreak, and if you listen, and it's but it's kind of like angry heartbreak kind of vibes and it's not necessarily about the lyrics anymore, but the way that just like the song feels like, I just love the bursts of energy and stuff like Kelly Clarkson's version of Happier Than Ever is so fucking good.
Speaker 3I have that on there.
Speaker 1I have some really depressing Lewis Capaldi's So you were very into the Somber era too, Yeah that's not on there, but that is on like a road trip playlist, just because it gives me road trip vibes.
But yes, I was, because those songs.
As soon as I was single, so many of somber songs really hit home for me.
Somber was either in town tonight or like two nights ago.
By the way, Oh really yeah, a boss for tickets and he said, yeah, I'll get back to you, and he never did.
Speaker 2So anyway, I said to him, I go, that felt like an invasion in privacy.
And he felt really bad because he didn't think twice of it.
He's like, I'm so sorry, like I didn't mean to and I was like, no, I'm kidding, it's fine.
I just like had no idea you were seeing things because I have some weird shit on there.
Speaker 1But you don't.
You don't have it.
It's not called like heartbreak playlist, No, it's called triathlon like Okay twenty twenty five.
So it's like, literally that it's all depressing.
No, it's not okay.
Speaker 2It's just a huge mixture of songs I really like okay, And so.
Speaker 1It's triathl cry.
No.
Speaker 2No, I have had Kelly Clarkson happier than ever on like my running playlist or workout playlist for literally ever since it came out, because I just love it.
And I was in a very happy relationship when that song came out, so it's like, I just love it.
I remember jamming to it at my last triathlon when I was in a relationship, like whatever.
So anyways, I was like, I feel like you got to see a side of me that I wasn't prepared for.
But at the same time, I'm over analyzing it.
And he probably didn't think twice about sis that I had on there.
So unless Heath was like, oh, she has terrible taste, amusing.
No, he said he liked a lot of the songs.
Speaker 1Is he gonna say that was a shut eye?
Is not gonna say why.
Speaker 2I know he was fucking getting access to the whole thing.
I thought I was just giving him a little dabble of some songs.
Speaker 1Do you have access to your bank account next, Geez, Jenny.
Speaker 3No, definitely.
Speaker 2We all know that there's one thing a man is never getting access to with me is my money, all right, that is my money.
Speaker 1That's a lie.
That is a controversial take.
Yeah, when Colt discovered how Jake and I have our money split, he was disturbed.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 2I mean a lot of people don't do that, but a lot of people, I feel like it's pretty much more normal to have your separate accounts and then have the one account for the bills.
Speaker 1We don't do that.
Yeah, we I think I've shared it before.
Speaker 3I don't remember.
Speaker 1It freaks people out, So just know that it works for me.
It works for Jake, and we've discussed.
I've offered other options and he's like, no, So because I grew up without money, and I do think I am.
I think Jake's good with money now, but I don't think he I think he went through our phase where he wasn't good with money.
And obviously I trust Jake now.
In the very beginning, I'm like, I don't know what this mother effort is about, right, So I have my own account for everything.
Speaker 3Jake's paychecks go into my account.
Speaker 1Jake has his own like checking where maybe like a very very small percentage goes into that just so he has it.
But we share our main credit card, so like we put like everything on this credit card, and then I pay off the credit card, and if there are any house or whatever bills that are auto pay, they come out of my checking account.
Then I have my own credit card.
Jake has his own credit card, mostly for like miles the extra benefits.
I think he likes it now too, because he can like actually get me a gift without me snooping.
But Colt was so shocked and disturbed that his paycheck go into my checking account that he has no access to.
I have said many a time at this point in our relationship, obviously, hey I can put you on.
He's like, no, I don't care.
I trust you, like it's fine.
So and then obviously our like investment accounts we have like I can see what's in his accounts, he can see what's in mine, because we well we have a combined and then we have obviously.
Speaker 2Separate right So I no, I don't think I knew that about his paycheck going into your account.
Speaker 3I really don't think I knew that.
Speaker 1I think it was just like we wanted all of our money to go to one spot because to pay all the bills.
Yeah, it didn't make sense to open another account, I guess to us.
Speaker 3I don't remember.
Speaker 1It was so long ago now, but yeah, And it's kind of like people who don't change their name after a certain point.
They're like, uh, you know what I mean, And people are shocked by it if they wanted to change their name.
But yeah, that's how our money's laid out.
And I think that that, like Cult's reaction.
Speaker 2In itself was that it is a bizarre layout, but it's funny because I feel like I just I don't know.
I mean, it is bizarre, but I feel like I get it, and it's cool, Like you and Jake trust each other, like there's no reason that he feels like he can't he needs access, so like, well, and.
Speaker 1I'll just tell him if I'm like, hey, this is how much we're an account accounts in case you want to know, and he's like, okay, cool, yeah, but he doesn't care, right.
Speaker 2So so I know you've talked to me about this a little bit, but you should share with those that are listening that you have something else you've been working on as of reason.
Speaker 1Okay, So I went back and forth on this for so long.
So years ago I did a podcast.
It was very successful.
I loved doing it, called the Heartbroken Podcast.
It became I became resentful towards the podcast not for two reasons.
One, it really is difficult lining up guests, and I swore I would never do a podcast ever again in my life that was dependent on another person.
And I don't mean like Hu Jenny, You're easy because we work together, but like people who I don't know, I don't know if they'll no show me.
Scheduling people is a nightmare.
And then now that I have two jobs, it's even harder.
I'm basically like over lunch is all I have.
So I said I would never do it again, and so part of my resentment was that the constant trying to get guests set up.
The second part of the resentment was it was very successful and I made no money on it.
That was an issue with like the company we work for.
They blocked me from making money on it, and it really really upset me.
So it was finally like I'm done.
This was like three or so years ago I quit doing it.
I did a podcast for three seasons three years, and I like have revisited it many times.
Long story longer.
I'm going to bring it back.
I don't know when it'll be, but I recorded my first episode last week and I have people lined up.
Basically, I want to get some episodes banked up before I launch it, and I do plan on doing a new version of it where my plan is to continue to have the free episodes every week, but I also plan to have a Patreon where if you want bonus episodes, you will have to become a subscriber, and that is also where the backlog of previous episodes will be.
And I made that decision because I was like, I, it's a lot of work, but I do want to make some money on it this time.
But it still gives people the option to listen for free if they can't afford it, and if they can afford it and want to support Awesome.
I might get in trouble from the company if they find out, So don't share that with anyone.
Yeah, I don't know if I'm allowed to have a Patreon, but here we are.
Speaker 3I'm going to do it.
Speaker 2I don't know really what we're allowed to do any either.
It's all very very very questionable.
It is like we do give permission for certain things that we used to not be able to do because of reasons I can't share.
But like, for instance, so I will be posting links to hosting a trip with people soon and that would have definitely been like a no no back in the day.
Speaker 1And Jenny's going through a different company that I went through, just so you know, But I'm like, should I go on your trip with you, Jenny?
Speaker 2And that's the thing that because by the time this episode comes out, I'll have shared it, but I'm not.
I actually don't know what the trip is yet because the options are you allowed to say that?
It really is like it's not even that because I'm doing a survey that's basically like give me your top destinations, give me your budget, give me the months of the year that work best for you.
It's a pretty quick, like one minute survey, so I'm kind of doing some research first to see what will work and who like get the interest there, and then we're going to start looking at trips that would align with that.
But obviously it's still up to me in the end of what is your trip?
Speaker 1Vibe is it adventurous more SOI hiking, or is it gonna be kind of like mine where it's more it's not that like you could on your off day you could go to something adventurous, but for the most part, it's something anyone can do.
Speaker 2So I truly don't know yet because there's literally trips to like Patagonia that look fantastic jakes, but then there's also trips to Bali that like look great that involve outings and stuff, but not necessarily hiking all every single day, you know.
So it really is just I want to get a feel for what people might be interested in and then go from there.
Because I also know that being out of nature and doing hard hikes is really fun, but I do think that I maybe would prefer to do that not with a huge group of people versus a group trip would be more fun, to not be like dying every day hiking and like whatever.
So truly, we'll see.
But this is something that I did get approved to you on my own, outside of through iHeart.
But that's why it's like Fallen doesn't know with her stuff.
I think they would say no if I asked.
Yeah, So that's why you are not a little secret that only you, me and Fallen know.
Speaker 3Yeah, don't have on please.
Speaker 1But also with one thing I remember from like when I did my first group trip, I think it was in April, and the teachers were mad at me because they're in school and they can't take off during that time.
Speaker 3That's a good point.
Speaker 1So if you're not gonna be able to accommodate everything, I know it's not.
And it's also like I have to be careful too, because like, truly, Bali sounds great, However, that's a really long travel destination and I'm not allowed to take that many days off of work at a time, so there are a lot of things that come into play.
It will most likely be an international destination, but if for some reason it wasn't, it would it could be like to Alaska or something which would be super fun too, very cool.
So, like I said, if you follow me on Instagram, chances are you do if you listen to this.
But at Jenny KATWB and I'll have the survey up there and then kind of just based on those results, I'll start working with the company and figure out what we think will make sense.
It's exciting.
Oh yeah, I'm excited for you.
Also, I will give you one more shout out because I booked a trip this very last minute.
But for years I've like said, I want to do the most cliche thing, and I want to go up to like the Luten area and I want to see the leaves for myself.
I know that everyone does it, I don't care.
I want to see it.
At least It's not something I'll do every year because it's a hike.
And I was like looking at the calendar and we actually have like this Saturday off.
So then I start looking for hotels and it was so hard to find anything available, but I found one for one night.
So we're literally going to drive up Friday night, spend all day Saturday there, and come back Saturday night.
But Jenny, I was like texting her because I want to do a hike, but it is more difficult with all of and like the I don't know if it's called being in the Bear or whatever it's called.
YEP, I've seen a lot of people post that and I was like, well, we don't have to do the full trail because it's like seven miles.
It's like, but we could go out.
It says you can go up and then come back and not do the full one.
But I asked Jenny because she's done a lot of these, and I even had a buddy reach out to me from Indiana.
They're coming here in October for like their kid's false break, and he was asking for suggestions, and I sent him the link to your website because Jenny does have a lot of those great tips.
And so the other one I had on my list was the Oberg Trail, and you're like, you should do this one instead.
I was like, that one was the other one on my list.
That is good to know, So I think we'll probably end up trying that one.
But it's just I know, your blog isn't made for families and kids.
Speaker 3Yeah it's not.
Speaker 1But if you're but that's okay.
I mean, you'll find the place you need to go for that kind of stuff.
But also you can kind of decide that on your own, like me.
I know, Jenny's blog says that this trail is seven miles.
That isn't meant for my six year old.
Speaker 2I know, and I also try on a lot of those to let you know that.
If I say a trail is easy, hard, moderate, that's based off all trails that's not my personal preference because I would say different things than what All Trails says about certain things.
Speaker 1But I fift thought a lot of the moderate All Trail hikes were hard for me.
Speaker 2Yeah.
No, there was one that I had done when I was doing like a Tee Towns and Yellowstone trip, and it was just in Montana, not in one of the national parks, and it was listed as moderate and it was a.
Speaker 3Really hard high.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3I was like, I would have put this as hard here, like that is the most intense hike.
Speaker 2But your website is called meet meof grid dot com.
Okay, And I did tell foul in this, And I feel a little bit guilty because I never want to like yuck someone's yum.
That's something Bailey says all the time.
But I feel like the gondola at Lutsun is like a ripoff.
Speaker 1Before I'm doing it, you asked me.
Yeah, And I've heard other people say similar things.
And the hotel we're saying it, honestly, kind of gives us an aerial view because we're saying at like one of the ski resorts, yeah, that I don't feel like I need the gondola, And I can't speak from personal experience, but I was up there around this time last year.
We talked about doing it, then we said no, We hiked oberg.
Oberg basically gives you the same view as, if not better than, what the gondola does.
And then I also was with a friend who she does a ton of north shore stuff because she lives Unduluth, and she was like, I think influencers are lying about how good the gondola is, because she thought it was the biggest waste of money.
Speaker 3How much is it?
Speaker 1Do you know?
Speaker 2I don't know, but it is like kind of expensive and it's a quick ride, like I've skied at Lutsn, so like I know how the gondola is and it's not a super long gondola.
Speaker 3You go to the other side, you go back down, And.
Speaker 1I think it makes sense if you are someone who can't do hikes for sure, and things like that, Like it's definitely made.
I'm sure it's really great for like maybe older people are people who aren't able body to do that, So I think it has its place.
Speaker 2Probably right for sure, I would say yes, I don't want to take away from anyone with that.
Or if you have like five kids, you're checking around, and you're like, I don't want to bring.
Speaker 3Five kids on a hike.
I get it.
Speaker 2Yeah, I just think that, like if you are a hiker, even like moderately, I think it's better to hike Oberg Mountain than to take the gondola in my opinion.
But once again, I haven't taken the gondola myself.
I just am a cheap ass bitch who was like, I'm not spending this money, yeah, to go on a gondola, Jenny.
We had these guests on today.
Speaker 1There's like some kind of I should have paid attention better, but they were so lovely, they were local.
It's like a game show and you do kind of like these tasks, kind of like squid games.
Speaker 3But obviously it don't get killed at the end.
Speaker 1Yeah, and they had us do two games today and I just imagined you and I, oh God, just killing each other but also like being so intense.
I first of all beat everyone at one of them, and I do you know how much I had to compose myself and act like it like I was a cool, like yeah, chill and not like you suck.
Speaker 3You're a good sport much as rare.
Speaker 1Yeah, the other one was hard So one was you had to get a hard speeddy noodle in your mouth and you have to like you can't use your hands.
You have six pieces penne pasta and you have to like use that and like get the spaghetti noodle, go through each one and line I'm all up that one.
I only got four on before we stopped.
And the other one is you take a chopstick and nuts, like the actual like metal nuts, and you have to stack them like on their side, not like laying down flat like all eight and who were does?
And that was the one that I did really fast, and they were like they were freaked out by how quick I was because they were they had actually done that game on the game show and they said it gives them like anxiety even see nuts anymore because of it.
Speaker 3Oh my god.
But I can't remember the name of the game show was.
Speaker 1But you win like a million dollars and we don't know if they're eliminated or not kind of thing.
So anyway, it's one that I think that you would enjoy watching because it's like those quick little games that I think also would be fun for people to incorporate, like at Christmas time when they do those like minute to winn it kind of games.
Speaker 3Yeah, so something to check out.
Speaker 2So I feel like I've pulled back a little bit on my competitiveness since I don't have you on the show to like go back and forth with, like you and I would like get at each other sometimes.
And I don't think I'm as crazy because the other people on the show aren't like that.
So then I just look like a fucking crazy person.
You know, I still look crazy.
Speaker 1Yeah, you should hear me when Ted comes in for games and I screamed for him to kiss my ring and shit, and people are like, calm it down, I can't play that.
We've actually played.
Colt put together a montage of me being a bad sport and it was very eye opening and embarrassing.
Speaker 2But I was thinking, because the person I've been seeing we've been trying to go do the Walker mini golf, and just like the tea times that they have has not been working with our schedules of the days we've been able to go.
And I'm thinking in my head, like I am if I'm competitive about something and something that I know I'm decently good at, and I'm good at mini golf, and okay.
Speaker 3Shut up.
He golf golfs like all the time.
Speaker 2So I'm like, well, he's probably gonna whoop my ass, but I'm still going to like try very hard.
Speaker 1I don't know, you know what it's petting games like that'd be very different.
Driving game is good, but I was petting right.
Speaker 2So I'm sitting there and I was like, do I play it cool or do I like really rub it in?
Speaker 1But I've never known you to play ever.
For the record, we have a new Taylor Swift album coming out this week.
Yes, I'm so excited.
Okay, pull out the list.
Let's make some early predictions on what we think will be the best.
You're gonna be way better at this than me, so we won't.
They only have someng time, I.
Speaker 2Know, but I'm not as big of a swifty as you are, so I feel like you understand her better.
Speaker 1The only thing I will tell you for sure is so track five is always her like I think, like her best or most emotional, Like that's the two So track five is always her most significant, if you will.
And that one's called one, two three eldest daughter, so that could be emotional.
I remember Travis saying Opallite was his favorite her single is the Fate of Ophelia, and then obviously the title track, The Life of a show Girl is the one with Sabrina Carpenter.
So if we read through these and they said that album itself, because the Spotify showed the runtime is like forty four minutes and some odd seconds, so that's nice.
So we have the Fate of Ophelia, Elizabeth Taylor opalite father figure, eldest daughter ruined the friendship actually romantic wish list would what is the shortest song on the album canceled?
Honey, the Life of a Showgirl?
Speaker 2Okay, I mean I right off the bat thought that The Life of a show Girl is probably what I'm going to vibe with, only because I love Sabrina so much.
Speaker 1See, it worries me that it'll be like one of the lamer ones, like because you think it's going to be so good because it has Sabrina.
Speaker 2Yeah, or like there's literally going to be barely any Sabrina and ib it'll be like the Lana song like let Yes Know on the Beach.
Speaker 1Well, like when the song that Taylor did with Gracie Abrams.
I didn't love that song.
Speaker 3I don't even know if I know it.
Speaker 1It's fine if you don't.
I always think track three is usually like on most albums, for some reason, track three ends up being like a single or a hit.
So the fact that Travis also said that was like his favorite oh Light makes me think that'll be very hype his favorite song from Taylor's blank space, so maybe it'll give that kind of vibe.
Speaker 2What does the dollar signs mean in wish list?
Because Wish was joining I don't know.
I thought maybe you'd have some insight.
Speaker 3I don't know.
Speaker 2Taylor is canceled is also in all caps and an exclamation point.
Yes, So that feels like that's going to have some energy to.
Speaker 1The fate of Ophelia.
I always think Taylor is bad at picking singles from her own album, so I'm riding that off, Elizabeth Taylor.
I'm riding it off father figure writing it off.
So I think, maybe, yeah, Honey could be a good one.
Speaker 2All right, Okay, open l it's your top for hype, yep, ours is the life of a show girl, I think, so yeah, Well, we'll reveal how we.
Speaker 1Actually feel next week.
I know you're on the edge of your seat this weekend.
Listen, know how hype My weekend was saw the new Gabby's Dollhouse movie Crazy, went to the Minnesota Zoo for their jack o' lanterns.
Wilcacular went to the Mall of America to check out their Halloween events at Crayole Experience.
You're Freak went on the boat for probably the last time of the season.
What'd you do on the boat?
I laid on the boat.
No, I yelled, shut.
Speaker 3Up, Jenny.
What else did you do on the boat?
Speaker 1I just said it peace so bad and I go, just stop the boat and she goes, what right here in the center of the lake to we'd go to the side or something.
I go, no, there's there was like no one out.
And he goes, oh, are you serious?
And I was like yes, And he's like, are you gonna dip yourself in?
And go no.
He's like, what's happening.
He's like, let me shut off the motor where the center of the lake.
He shuts it off.
I just pull my pants down and just like hold on to like the rail and just hang my butt over and pete.
He was like, there's a poor first time bird watcher out there were binoculars that just well never basically I won't say exactly what he said, like we'll never go bird watching ever again in their life.
And I was like, and I couldn't.
Speaker 4It's not about a person to be like, here we go just popping the binoculars out for the first time and just see my big white ass and a lake and just be like and never mind like throwing their verinoculars into a fire pit.
Speaker 1And I don't know.
Speaker 2Fland has a lot of like grammatical errors in her text, so when she sent me, I had to like deconstructed for a second to fully understand the picture she was painting.
Speaker 3And I was like, all right, I think I get it.
Speaker 1Here are two things about me with grammatical errors on text.
Number one, it's usually because I'm texting really fast and I have to like and I don't care, but I always do.
Then I fix it with like five more texts, and then it's just as a nightmare.
The other thing is most of the time I am texting with only my left hand because I will have olive on me almost and on the boat I have was left hand texting and she was laying on me to take a boat nap, and I just like, whatever, I don't know.
When I sent you.
I was like, here we go, what did you?
Well, I know part of what you did this weekend?
You went to a wedding.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, I had my really good friend TIFF's wedding and it was very, very much fun.
I met Tiffany when I worked at the Minnesota Timberwolves and we've just been really close ever since.
She's one of my best friends and she's just the kindest soul ever.
Speaker 3So that was fun.
I stayed pretty much sober.
Speaker 2I had a couple glasses of mine early in the night, but you know, they're not like a super crazy party crowd and stuff.
However, Tony, on the other fucking hand, that guy, So Tony's on our show every once in a while, so chances are you might know who I'm talking about if I bring his name up.
But he's one of the funniest people I know.
And I asked him to help save me from one situation I thought might bad happen, and I honestly can't talk about it on the podcast, And of course he got too drunk and didn't.
Speaker 3Of course, and then the next.
Speaker 2Thing I know, he's hitting on every single girl's husband, even though his husband is ten feet away.
Speaker 3And I and.
Speaker 2Next thing I know, he's trying to get me to take a straight vodka shot, and I'm like, I'm good, Yeah, I started drinking water an hour ago.
Move on, you can take your disgusting Vonda shot.
So anyways, I of course get a bunch of videos from him the next morning about how he was turned and like his husband took a video of him pass out in the uber on the way home, and he doesn't really drink like that usually, so it was fun to see him like that.
But yeah, it was a really fun wedding.
And my girlfriend met her husband at bingo, so we played bingo before dinner and that was really fun.
And yeah, it was a good weekend.
Just got some more house projects done and hung out with someone.
Speaker 1All right, Yeah, all right, no further comments or questions.
That is it for us.
Thanks for hanging out with us, have a good week.
We'll we'll reevaluate and chat about Swifties new album next week.
