Speaker 1

Here we go.

Speaker 2

We're back in the new year, twenty twenty six.

Who the year of twenty twenty dicks.

That's Jenny's motto that I just gave her without warning her.

Speaker 1

Did you see that on a TikTok?

No?

Oh my god, I saw I got last night say that he goes twenty twenty dicks and I was like, He's like, I think we missed something there, twenty twenty dicks.

Speaker 2

And I was like, oh, another podcast I follow.

They'll like kind of do a joking version of that.

They last year they did twenty twenty Thrive, and this year they were joking what they should do and they made it twenty twenty twigs sore twigs bars all the time.

Okay, so no, but just for you twenty twenty dicks.

Okay, maybe for me too.

Why shouldn't I have twenty of dick this year?

Speaker 1

Let me tell you?

Then, God, I hate how certain things spark dream memories.

I had the weirdest fucking dream and I'm not going to go into details with it about me and you.

Fucking boring hearing people's dreams.

It's not about me and you.

Then I don't care.

It's so boring.

However, I was in some weird place.

God, this is fucking weird, where I was like, in order to like win my freedom, I had to have sex with someone and I don't know who it was.

It's like I could have a demon creature or something.

It had two dicks and I was going up bouncing back like to like right next to each other, almost like balls, but there was both within.

No, no, no, no, there was someone else that I was like going, So I'm trying to ride.

Speaker 2

My got to tame the porn you're watching.

Speaker 1

I'm telling you nothing.

Oh my god, not.

I can't even.

I don't know.

I don't know.

It was so fucking weird.

Speaker 2

Did you wake up horny?

Speaker 1

Yeah, which, like what does that say about me?

But whatever?

I mean, when you have sex dream usually you like wake up horny.

Yes, but no, that was such a weird dream.

I was like, did you get your freedom or not?

I don't think so.

I think like I think, I do think I won the No, I think I did win the penis though, because like I think I booted the other person out because it was hard.

It was like the penis was right next to the other penis.

Well, yeah it was hard, but.

Speaker 2

That person probably didn't stand a chance if you're asked to facing them sucking booting them out with that real estate.

No me.

Speaker 1

Can I tell you something?

When I was home for Christmas, I walk into my sister's and Christmas morning, her and her best friend always do momosas together.

Her best friend leaves when all the family comes over.

Yeah, I walk in.

The first thing Erica says to me, did you get.

Speaker 2

A boob job?

Speaker 1

And I was like, damn, do they look good?

Speaker 2

Yeah?

Speaker 1

And I was like no.

And then my sister Rachel's like, she's always had big boobs.

She's the only one that got them in the family, you know that, Erica.

And She's like, I don't know, they just look perky.

Speaker 2

I have big boobs.

No, did they have big butts.

Speaker 1

My younger sister a little bit, yes, but no, Rachel's pretty just like flat.

I mean, her boob's got pretty big during pregnancy.

Yeah, that's for sure, but they're not like small boobs.

This is weird that I'm about my sister's.

Speaker 2

You're greedy.

Speaker 1

You took everything I did, take literally everything my ass, and my booby is Okay.

It's crazy, but all right, moving on, Can I tell you what.

I didn't make it into twenty twenty six more than thirty six hours without doing.

Speaker 2

I'm I can guess what is it.

I bet you one thousand dollars it's without eating some snacks in the middle of the night.

Speaker 1

After you'd get that what it is.

I'm so excited.

I am right, I almost exit you.

I'm not getting new shit myself, Jenny.

I know.

I let me tell you how often I blame it on Morocco.

This is why, because I bought this one spice from a Moroccan spice market.

Speaker 2

How would you buy any spices?

You know, you can't handle anything.

Speaker 1

But it's not like spicy heat spice.

It's just like something to add flavor.

So I don't know what I'm supposed to do with it.

I forgot what the guy told me to use it for.

It definitely isn't to just put on a chicken breast, but that's what I was eating with broccoli and something wrong.

Speaker 2

The spice is probably gonna be like a natural light I know, bowel cleanser.

Speaker 1

But I literally like, look at the clock.

It's like twelve thirty on Friday, on January second, and I'm like, so I made it thirty six hours without shitting myself.

Are you fucking kidding me?

So I almost texted you that day to be like, you know what, and then I was like, I'll save it for the podcast, tell you in real time?

Speaker 2

Did you watch you don't have HBO?

Right?

Speaker 1

No?

Speaker 2

I actually finished Heated Rivalry.

Speaker 1

I mean I've heard all about it.

Speaker 2

I had to do very small intervals of it because Jake is a very progressive person, but he doesn't want to watch guys having aggressive sex all the time.

Speaker 1

And I feel like that's okay.

It is to feel that way.

Speaker 2

It is, and so I have the most limited time to watch that show, and so I had to make sure like Dylan wasn't coming home because I need him walking in just seeing me watch Peple.

That would be if it was straight or gay sex.

Let me be very clear, I don't mean it makes me uncomfortable to watch that when Dylan's even in his bedroom with headphones on.

Yeah, And then but Jake would come up and he'd be like, oh my, got this again, and he let me watch it.

He would just scroll his phone with his headphones on.

But I was also trying to be like moderately respectful of maybe this isn't his thing to watch, and that's fine.

So I finally got through it and it was so good and I like it because it's like the forbidden love kind of thing, but also I liked learning like had like no budget, and now it's just become this huge thing.

So I don't know.

I was like, I was glad I finished her up and it was a good one.

Speaker 1

I didn't know what was going on because I didn't know about the show until I was on TikTok one day and all of a sudden, all these videos are popping up of people at hockey games being like kiss kiss k and I was like, what the fuck?

And then I was like, oh, it's because of that show.

Speaker 2

It was kind of so if you don't know what it's about, it's like it is about hockey, but it has nothing to do with hockey.

And it's like the two of the best hockey players ones Russian, he's the other one Canadian, a care member.

He plays for a team in Canada.

That is, I mean, he's Canadian.

They are They fall for each other very early on, and then like but they you know, the one from Russia is like, I mean, he could never come out basically kind of like you would never be able to go back home, but yet how strict they are.

And so it shows them through the years playing all these hockey tournaments or different things, and they would see each other briefly and but they would text throughout the seasons and stuff.

But it's like it was, you know, forbidden love basically, So but it was it was a sweet story.

And then there were other side plots that were really good as well.

Speaker 1

Yeah, so nice.

So it's twenty twenty six, and I did send foulness and said I was going to be doing this exercise on New Year's Eve.

Yes, but there's something that I had started seeing going around on Instagram where it's like six actionable steps or no, sorry, three actionable steps to make your twenty twenty six great.

And so I you don't have to tell me, but I think you said you did that yourself, Okay.

So what it is is the first one's a massogi, which is one year defining event.

Speaker 2

What is that from?

What language?

Do we know?

Speaker 1

Japanese?

Speaker 2

Japanese culture?

Speaker 1

Yep.

And then the next is to plan six mini adventures for your whole year and actually kind of like get them on the calendar, so you have those things to look forward to.

And then the last one is four winning Habits, which means a different habit each quarter, so you don't have to do the habit all year round.

You do a new one each quarter.

And I did that exercise on New Year's Eve.

Speaker 2

And what can you share all of you?

Speaker 1

I'll say, I don't remember all of them.

I think I have them down somewhere.

But my masoghi is masogi.

It's to do the moab Rope swing, which is basically where you jump off of like a cliff into a valley in moab Utah.

It looks super cool.

It's like a bungee kind of vibe, but not bungee where your head's down.

It's more of like you just jump and you flail in the air in this valley for a while and then they like bring you back up to life.

Speaker 2

So there's a cord.

Yeah, so it is kind of like.

Speaker 1

It is bungeo.

It's just done a little bit different.

Speaker 2

Well, I mean, if you go to like a six Flags, they have the swing kind of thing, so I'm guessing it's like that.

Speaker 1

Yeah, it's similar to that.

It's just it's a little more like freelance, probably than what the six leags is, but I really want to do that.

I saw that the last time I was out in Utah do an advan trip, and so.

Speaker 2

Is that the big trip you want to do this year other than BALI is Utah?

Speaker 1

I do think I want to get to Utah again because I loved it and there's so much more I want to explore.

But I also want to get to Arizona.

Yeah, and those are obviously neighboring states, so yeah, I saw this year.

Yeah, so I want to do those.

So that's my masogi and then my mini adventures.

So the plan is to go to Mount Bohemia up in the Up for MLK weekend coming up here shortly, So that's one of them, and then just a couple other random ones.

I really want to host a party.

I've always wanted to host a party that is like it's called like nowhere to wear this party?

So you show up and you wear just something so crazy in your closet, but you would never wear it to almost anywhere.

Yeah, So I always think of like a jingle ball outfit that I wore or something like that.

And then another one I did is I really want to do a long bike ride with friends because I've done one to like still Water.

I've done ones out to like Excelsior and other places before and I haven't done that in a while, so I want to do that, and I can't remember all the other ones.

But then winning habits, I just started this one where I'm going to pick out my outfits for the week on Sunday night.

So I did that last night already, and I'm really pumped.

One to have, well, I should say, for the work week.

I'm not caring about like Saturday, Sunday whatever.

Another one I put is I in Q three because weather permitting, I want to do walking outside every day, so that would be like, well, I.

Speaker 2

Thought you did that one.

I thought you did at a time like you did Q.

You picked Q one, but you didn't pick Q two's until Q two.

Speaker 1

Oh I didn't know.

I guess I did pick mine all already.

Maybe you can change one, Okay, you probably can change them, because I did.

This was the person I've been seeing, and he already has like changed one of his But yeah, I so.

Speaker 2

Early enough in the year, I think, yeah, And even so you're allowed to change your mind on things.

Speaker 1

Right, So yeah, but what are do you want to say some of yours?

Speaker 2

Sure, I won't share my main thing.

But then the like six things, I don't remember all of them.

I remember one was I want to do like another art class because I just haven't, and then another one was like not just an art class, but like actually commit a little bit more time to my art.

And I don't know if that like works for like an activity, but it was like launch a new art category, which I already have the category.

It actually Tina came up with it and she already executed it, and I loved it.

Yeah, and I don't mind sharing what that is.

She asked me for a piece of my art to create her welcome side and her wedding and so I sent her the file because she's a bastie, so she gets it for free, and it was she basically blew it up really large.

She went, I think like TJ Max found a frame that was really pretty, and then she wrote like Tina and Trevor and like their wedding date below.

So because a lot of people have those welcome signs, yeah, like Tina is such a good idea.

I want to start doing that selling like my art for wedding signage.

Yeah, so that I want to launch that at some point.

I just don't know.

I feel like it's going to be expensive because it really is to I don't fun fact, I charge very little for my prints compared to most artists because the printing and shipping is pretty expensive.

You can find cheaper prints, but then like the place I go to normal, if I order one single print, it's eighteen dollars to ship it to me, and then like the big prints are pretty expensive.

So I'm like, I'm gonna have to figure that out because I mean, you know, but that was one I want to do, like an overnight just me and Olive trip again.

We did Great Wolflage last year and she calls it Great Big wolf Flage and ever because we drive past it every time I go to Mall of America.

It's so weird to me that that is, like, of every trip we took.

She brings that one up the most, and Jake's like, yeah, because it was like just you two and it was like all about her, and so I want to do another one of those with her.

And I can't remember what all was on my list now, but well, I have like taking Dylan to Norway.

Yeah, for his that's like what he wants for graduation.

And then I can't remember what else I might have put like our state park trip on there, but I don't think I did.

Speaker 1

Yeah, I know, I tried really hard to keep mine away from just like trip stuff like I wanted.

Like one other one I did for my mini adventures is a spot a at a Hotel Ivy.

I like toured there one time and I was like, this is the most beautiful thing ever.

And I've never treated myself to anything like that.

So that is like one where it's like just a local day of something.

Speaker 2

When you were the person that you're seeing.

I don't follow them on Instagram yet, but I was like, if this person reaches out to me to ask me, like for Christmas gifts idea, I was going to tell that person that you mentioned Hotel Ivy, yeah, but then you were like, we're not doing Christmas gifts kind of thing, and I was like, Okay, then that will be really chaotic for me to be like, go buy her this one hundred.

Speaker 1

And fifty dollars.

I'm going to assume it's probably I want to say it's probably way more.

Speaker 2

Probably my first habit I put into place.

So it's going back and forth because I really, really really think I'm going to get the brick for my phone, even though I want to spend seventy dollars on it.

I should just have will power, but I don't.

Is I did put in, which is everyone's thing, but I put walk for twenty minutes five times a week, and I even did it when it.

Speaker 1

Was cold out.

Speaker 2

I've used the excuse that it's too cold, it's usually isn't for twenty minutes, and I've talked to my doctor about it and she's just like, just twenty minutes, like it's and it's so easy to do.

So that is my first quarter one, A very simple one that I feel like I can do.

I didn't put every day because it's just not well, it's not fusible.

Speaker 1

One.

Well a with your schedule, but yeah, but be also just with like the weather that we deal with.

Yeah, that's a hard one.

It is in winter, which is why I said my Q three, which maybe it'll all change, was to walk every day, but that's in the summer.

Speaker 2

I wish our building right now.

It's a circle, but you have to have a key card to get through it.

If they didn't have the key card, I could just do like laps and drive everyone crazy.

But we're also about to lose half of our building, and I'm so confused how that's going to happen.

They basically have split.

When I moved here, we had two floors of our building.

They got rid of one of the floors.

We've been on one for a short time.

They actually rented out one fourth of our building to a Minnesota jazz radio station while they were doing construction.

Now we've been told we're renting out half of our building and they're moving everything to the half that I've been on the whole time.

Jenny's been on the whole time, that on air side, So sales and management are coming over to our side.

And I still i've seen the renderings, have no effing idea how that's happening in a way that isn't chaotic.

And I also am like highly triggered that they're going to spend all this money on this, but they're not spending money on updating our radio studios, which is the actual product we sell.

And it is mind boggling to me because our studios have really outdated boards, which is like all the buttons you see and the walls are covered in this fucking brown, nasty ass carpet, which makes let me tell you, every video you post on social just visually stimulating.

Yeah.

So I was like, you would have thought they would have put a little bit of that money into updating our studios.

Speaker 1

They were doing these studios.

Speaker 2

Haven't seen a single thing Phase one in Phase two did not mention the studios.

Speaker 1

Oh, I thought.

I guess I read into it of like you're gonna have to clean out your studio eventually.

So I thought that that meant that something was happening.

But yeah, I don't know anything with that.

We are one of the bigger markets in the United States, and pretty much all the other bigger markets have nice new studios.

Yeah, except for us.

Speaker 2

You know one thing I saw.

So there's a girl in radio in Chicago, and she is one of the most unique talents out there.

She has a massive social media following because of how creative she is.

She's the leader of a rock morning show and she in his iHeart.

She posted a video a couple of months ago that was so funny and she was like, when we got this job in like a year ago, they promised us in studio cameras and whatever.

And she's like, and I work for a little mom and pop company.

And then she has the iHeart logo behind her and she's like, I don't know if it's mom or pop who decided to not let us get those, but they said they would give them to it.

So then she copied her boss and said please contact him directly.

And people were blowing up as like dms and everything, and I'm going to guess she's gonna get those cameras now.

And I was like, that's bold, brave and hilarious.

Speaker 1

Oh for her.

I think I follow that girl, but I'm not sure.

Speaker 2

But her name's Maria Palmer.

By the way, I don't mind.

I'm not going to get you that.

She's very funny and very creative, like the kind of person who starts her own trends, doesn't.

Speaker 1

Just do I wish I was me too that good.

I'm just over your copy and everyone.

Speaker 2

You know what, I question that all the time, Like I think I'm a decently funny person.

Yeah, I could come up with creative content, but I think that I'm so burnout of coming up with like a video every single day for me and cult and then trying to think of stuff for mine and reposting on the katiewb Fallon and cult, forty different tiktoks, Instagram's facebooks and doing two jobs and that I'm like, I don't have as much creativity time anymore.

Speaker 1

Yeah, no, I feel that.

So I wasn't listening to this one podcast over the holidays.

I was in a very like I need to seize twenty twenty dicks as quickly as I can, and so there were just so many things I was trying to do, habit wise, goals, whyse whatever.

But one of the podcasts, the Diary of a CEO that I love, He had on this guy who was all about like getting ready for the new year.

And something that I thought was so interesting is that, and you are absolutely guilty of this Fallon, is we sit and we set all of these goals for ourselves, and we want to do all of these new things, but we don't realize that like we already live busy lives and so realistically, he said, if you want to add something in twenty twenty six, you better figure out what you're subtracting.

And I was like, holy shit, you're right, I.

Speaker 2

Want to subtract my boobs a little bit.

Speaker 1

Actually feel like that a little bit too, But I'll tell you why and a little bit why I want to get rid of some of my boobs.

Oh, because that's a whole different tea that has a whole different story.

Yeah, I like that.

But yeah, I thought that was interesting.

And so I'm like sitting there thinking, I'm like, well, what can I subtract?

I was like, do I have to quit my job?

Speaker 2

Like?

Speaker 1

What do I?

Speaker 2

What?

Am I?

The one thing you don't subtract to pay your bills, but.

Speaker 1

Like to do other things that I want to do.

It's like, am I you.

Speaker 2

Know that we post a lot of stuff lately that's given me the vibe like you're going to quit your job?

Are you going to quit your job?

Jenny?

Speaker 1

That's not in my twenty twenty six like goals or anything, however, like you'll never say never.

No, I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding.

Don't read into that, please, But yeah, I thought that that was interesting and sadly to say, the only thing I can think of truly that I could subtract at this moment is this like monthly fitness class that I do.

Yeah, and I'm sorry if you're listening and you come to those, but it's like one of the only things that I do that I feel like I could get rid of, because truly, I'm not focusing enough on my travel blog like I want to.

And I think it's because I've stretched myself too thin with too many different things.

And yeah, it's once a month, but it's not just that.

It's coordinating it and like trying to like email with everyone, and when people drop out, I have to get like people to fill it, and so it becomes more than just like showing up to a one hour workout class and being done.

So anyways, I just want to throw that out there that if you feel like you can never hold on to goals or resolutions, a lot of times it's because you already have a and you can't just keep adding things and think that you can do everything.

Speaker 2

It's true.

I feel like I understand what you're saying because I've endlessly, even though it's been like almost six years of this, still feel guilty that I don't meet with my book club every month still to this day, and because we did it for so long, I met every single month for so long, and it was a lot of work, and I was spending my own money on stuff for a while, and then I stopped doing that because I was like, this has got to stop, because I was like using my time, my energy, and my money.

And then I had sponsors for a while.

But when twenty twenty hit, I was like, Okay, I have a kid.

Here are all the reasons why this is actually good.

I need to pull back.

And so I have a Facebook group and I still post books, but I still feel guilty because people all the time will be like, are you going to meet in person?

And Here's what I've realized.

When I do the one or two a year meet in person book clubs, it's the same twenty five people, and I love them and they're my core group, but I'm like, where are all the people that we're posting.

Speaker 1

Yeah, that they wanted to come, Yeah.

Speaker 2

You know what I mean.

So it was like, Luckily, i feel like I'm close enough to like that core twenty or so people that like I can like message them or hang out with them or see them on other situations.

But I'm like, I'm still going to try to do maybe like one or two a year, but I need to stop with the guilt of that I'm not doing it monthly.

Speaker 1

Yeah, yeah, you shouldn't feel guilty.

I feel I don't know, I feel like so many things that we do in radio.

It's a little bit different in the aspect that like, you go and you do your job most of the time, and you don't really like do anything else outside of your work hours.

Maybe you're answering emails, but like with our jobs, we are a lot of times doing things outside of us being at the radio station and stuff.

So it's just sometimes little things like even a monthly meetup of whatever it is, yeah, turn out to be a little more than what they anticipated.

Speaker 2

I know.

Speaker 1

But well here, let's go to the titty thing.

Speaker 2

Okay.

Speaker 1

So I showed you that photo of the dress I thought i'd wear for Tina's wedding, right, yes, okay, So of course, me being me and a girl, I'm like, it's not good enough.

I think, I like, and you got in my head when you told me you're going to cover the moneymakers, and I was like, you're right, I should have my boobs out a little bit.

So I go and I'm chopping online.

I order two dresses from Lulu's.

Both of them super cute, but one of them I knew was going to be questionable because the only size that was left was a small and when I did would fast it does.

That's the thing, so it fits everything, But man, are my titties crimp?

Speaker 2

Let me see?

Speaker 1

So let me show you the video of it, because I really love it.

It's like a pretty color.

I feel like Tina has like kind of a color scheme she's trying to do with all the girls, and I love like, but I also I'm like, it's might.

Speaker 2

Be too much boob.

No that it's not.

They're out, but like they're secure.

Yeah, they're okay.

So for you to envision, it's almost like just imagine a little butt crack right in the middle of her chest because the dress is pushing them together.

Speaker 1

Yeah they are.

Speaker 2

That fits you really well for that being as small, I know, but it's also a looser bottom.

If it was a tighter one, that issue advised.

But like, I don't know, I think you look really that's a good color on you too.

I think that's in your color way.

And I just like, what kind of like what kind of purple would you call that?

Speaker 1

Silac?

Yes?

Is lilac.

Oh my god, good job, I was gonna say.

I was like, I looked at the packaging like yesterday to figure out what the color was, because I was like, I got a text Tina soon and let her know what color I'm doing.

And I was like, oh, lilac.

Speaker 2

Okay, Well, purple was the one that I said that was missing.

Speaker 1

I know, so I was like, okay, do I send this in a group chat to you and Tina.

But the problem was, I was like, oh, but if Tina like leans to the one that I don't like the most, then I'm gonna be sad.

So I think I'm gonna stick with that one.

However, you said you wanted to get rid of some of your boob, subtract some of your boobs.

I do want to try to just get at rid of a little bit.

Speaker 2

Of boob before then you could just also tape them and that will push them back a little bit.

Tina's recommended a tape to me because my dress does not allow a bra, and let me tell you, Titty Committee, there's no way.

Speaker 1

There's no way.

Speaker 2

So I'm going to buy the boob tape she recommended.

I'm sorry if you're listening you're like, what is it?

I don't remember because she texted it to me.

But if I find it, use it for the wedding and it actually works, then I'll recommend it.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Yeah, I think I was with you when she was talking about the boob tape at one point too.

Speaker 2

Yes, I did set up.

I got a hair appointment and a spray tan the day before we leave, so I'm going to be so aggressively stinky and tan.

Speaker 1

I'm smart.

I feel like I need to get my hair cut or something soon, which I could probably get in for a cut before them, but definitely not a color.

But that's okay.

I don't really think I need you want to know something I've realized though, what because I'm blonde, you are, I'm not realizing that grays are actually coming in?

But I'm pretty sure Blessing of blonde.

No, I know.

But I just like got really sad when I pulled like a little piece of hair, because like every once in a while, you know, you just see a little strike or you pull it out, and I was like, I think that that's great.

Yeah, And I was like, damn, well hit that point you have.

Speaker 2

I've hit the point where I do think I'm I think I'm definitely perimenopause because the past like three nights, I've been waking up with hot flashes in the middle of the night, brutal like brutal, like where is this coming from?

There's an inferno happening.

What age around do they say that you start perimenopause.

I'm in it, Like you could start perimenopause in your thirties, you could, you could be going through perimenopause.

Speaker 1

I mean, I do get hot flashes in the middle of the night, but I usually think that's just my anxiety.

Speaker 2

I don't have that going before me.

I don't think.

I don't know, maybe I do.

Speaker 1

Got well.

I was gonna say, if it's happened the last few days, does it have to do with the fact that you're going back to work after like a little bit of a break, because that might have been like something that any like weird thing in your schedule can throw off your.

Speaker 2

Luckily, I'm I'm easing in because this week I only have radio.

Next week is gonna be chaotic a little bit because Jason is still not back for the TV show, and it's obviously like I love I have I'm doing the show with Shane on Monday and then Pierre the rest of the week.

They're great, but obviously they're fill in people, so I don't do the show with them daily, so it's I'm the lead.

It's just a lot easier when I'm not the lead on that TV show.

And Jason just is so good and just taking the wheel and like just making it easy that I will next week be counting down the days until he returns for sure.

Speaker 1

I want Jason's vacation schedule.

Speaker 2

I don't know if you would, no, because you can't take off any other time during the year.

Speaker 1

Oh.

Speaker 2

He How Jason's schedule is is he has three weeks over the holidays, which is great, and then he has three weeks in the summer, like when you like you have a summer break in TV.

Okay, but he doesn't get vacation any other time of the year.

Speaker 1

Oh, I guess I didn't realize that.

I just feel like when he is on vacation.

Speaker 2

Yeah, I feel like so like he works Christmas Day okay, because like he'll fill because like a lot of anchors and reporters are off, so he'll like fill in for the actual like Fox TV station on like Christmas Day and stuff because he doesn't need to be off Christmas Day and then he's gone for like three weeks.

Speaker 1

Yeah, so yes and no.

I think the reason I thought maybe vacations more is because I feel like he posts a lot when he's on vacation and doesn't as much when he's not on vacation.

So maybe I see more of that, or maybe he just shows up more because I love vacation stuff.

Speaker 2

There are some days that he'll have off, yeah, but it might be like in exchange, Like we got a couple of days this year because they make the Jason Show to two hours of the State Fair, so they're kind of like, you owe us a couple of PTO days for the extra work we had to do, and so they gave him two days that everyone used.

Or I don't know.

Yeah, maybe he has I don't know, but those are like the main two vacations he takes real quick because I.

Speaker 1

Don't know where we're at with time, but we're about time, Okay.

I do have one email that I just want to say because it's so weird because I think people try to email both of us and sometimes it just like doesn't go to both of us because it does say Happy New Year, New Year's ladies.

It says post holiday blues are a thing, But so is wanting to purge shit?

Speaker 2

Is it just me?

Speaker 1

No, not at all.

As soon as Christmas has done, my tree in Decore comes down and I'm super hyper focused on decluttering and home reno slash de core.

Anyway, all I need is for you guys to spend thirty minutes talking about heated rivalry.

Speaker 2

She said, Oh, we talked about that.

Speaker 1

I was going to say we did talk about it.

That's why I wanted to get to this email.

She says.

I can't stop watching it.

Literally, I keep rewatching it over and over.

I ordered the books, and I haven't read books for enjoyment in a long time.

It hasn't been my thing since nursing school fifteen years ago.

Please tell me I'm not crazy and I'm not the only one obsessed with I'm not going to say these names a right, Ilia, Shane, Kip, and Scott.

Yeah, thanks, okay, And that comes from Katie.

So, I mean, I've heard so much about it that I do want to watch it.

I just I don't have HBO.

However, the guy I'm seeing does, so maybe I can be like, hey, yeah, you want to.

Speaker 2

Yeah, and you need to watch I don't know what kind of show he's into, but you should watch Task.

It was so good, little anxiety inducing, but it's like a short run dark Ruffalo, very very good.

It was my second favorite show of twenty twenty.

Speaker 1

I love that I've well sorry we didn't spend thirty minutes talking about heated rivalry because I haven't seen it yet.

Speaker 2

But you're not alone girl.

Speaker 1

Yeah, good for you.

Yeah, I love that for you.

I one show I did binge over the weekend, which i'd never been shows.

We were liars.

I've seen it right, Yeah, you didn't like it.

Speaker 2

Well.

At the beginning, I was like, I don't know, I don't know.

This is kind of like dragging a little better, Like just tell me what happened to her on the beach, like you're not.

They weren't giving enough clues for me to care.

Yeah, and then the end destroyed me, Like to I I couldn't like for the first first one destroyed and then to hit with a second surprise.

I when I tell you, I didn't see it anything coming.

Obviously the first one you wouldn't have seen coming.

Yeah, but the second one that was like like maybe some people saw coming.

Speaker 1

M h.

Speaker 2

I cried so hard.

Speaker 1

I did too, and for a second I had to like take a hold of myself and be like, how am I crying this hard about a show?

But yet something else that should be making me emotional doesn't.

Yeah, like it's so weird, but yes, I was sitting on my couch last night and I was bawling and I was just I like had to stop every Like I did have my computer open, or I was working out a lot during that show, or i'd be scrolling on my phone, but that last episode, I was dialed the fuck in.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 1

So anyways, it's called We Were Liars.

It's on Amazon Prime.

It came out last summer, so I'm pretty late to the game, but I was looking for something new to watch, and I was like, this sounds good, and yeah, it's definitely worth it if you kind of start feeling choice, Yeah, right, if you feel like you're starting to fall off mid season, because I think it's like six episodes, yeah, trust me, it's worth it.

But just prepare yourself.

Speaker 2

Yeah, so my mine went to some dark places, but not that that place.

Yeah, okay, all right, Well thank you for rejoining us in twenty twenty dicks.

Speaker 1

Yeah, is that what you're titling this, Yeah, twenty twenty day thing?

Speaker 2

Something letter X?

Speaker 1

Yeah, like D can't you just do D star c ks?

Speaker 2

Yeah, I just don't know if X would make it look less sexual for people, like if they're driving in their car with their kids.

Speaker 1

Really, right, that's true.

I forget about that because I don't have kids.

Sorry, my brain doesn't work that way.

So you're smart.

Anything out is like reading all the time now, so you're right.

Maybe it shouldn't be.

Speaker 2

That maybe D.

There it is, okay, thanks for listening.
