About Emeka:

Emeka Alozie serves as a Principal at the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), where he leads innovation and startup engagement across the Northwest Region. With over a decade of experience supporting emerging technologies from idea to Series A, Emeka brings a unique perspective on the intersection of defense, technology, entrepreneurship, and social impact. Before DIU, he was Director of Marketing at Transpose Platform VC and IntuitiveX, where he helped launch three FDA Breakthrough Devices.

He also directed Seattle’s Founder Institute chapter, supporting dozens of pre-seed startups. Beyond tech, Emeka is deeply involved in civic leadership and advocacy. He serves as Co-Chair of the Seattle Human Rights Commission and advises the Seattle Police Department on crisis intervention and community relations. He was instrumental in the passage of WA State HB-1946, improving mental health support for underserved communities.
