The Mets are 7 games out of first place. We are on vacation next week and come back for good on Tuesday after Labor Day. Boomer asked if the Mets will be in better or worse shape on that day and Gio said worse. Boomer still thinks they will hang in there and make a playoff run. Boomer said there is a general malaise that has taken over the Mets.
