Friday Night Tokes - Old Strain History and Highlights Of The Week (1)
Episode Transcript
Welcome to reader Syndicate three point zero, the next evolution of look into counterculture that is Canada.
My name is Matthew, owner of Riot Seeds, and this started as a one man mission for strain history and breeding science.
Speaker 2Over time it's evolved into something bigger, better, and more of a team effort.
We will be joined by members of the can Illuminati and other friends throughout the seasons to hear their takes on grow techniques, breeding science, string history and more.
Our mission is to combat the narrative the corporate cannabis and seed posters are obfuscating for their own financial benefit.
Speaker 3Welcome to the underground.
We are the syndicate.

Speaker 5Wellcome Breeder Syndicate everyone.
I'm Matthew here today with Screwstin, and today we're going to be kind of going through a lot of the q and a's.
Like last week I said we'd get to them.
We didn't.
There's been a lot of q and as in the discord that are pretty fricking good, so I want to make sure and cover those.
Yeah, there's been a lot going on this week, like in the world, in world news, in probably in people's homes figure out how they're going to afford to buy groceries, et cetera.
So there's a whole lot we can talk about.
There's probably a whole lot of people don't want me to talk about so that stuff.
But how you doing, screw, how's your weeked?
Speaker 3I'm getting better every day.
Speaker 5Every day is all that matters.
As long as it's a step forward, not two steps back.
Yep, yep, anything new and exciting.
Speaker 3Your boy is on the market.
Speaker 5Now, he is on the market.
I wish I could show you guys' face.
Definitely have some men lined up.
I guarantee I'm lined up.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah, I mean nothing, nothing new plant wides.
I got stuff outside that's doing.
I mean it's got some bitte marks on it and shit, but overall better better than what I've had before, because I've had shit just straight up not fucking like die before it ever even started pushing fucking flowering.
Speaker 5So yeah, one thing I've learned pretty heavy, and this isn't just this summer outdoor season.
It's past ones.
Just I need to just pop them in massive pops from the beginning, which for me, like using the indoor ideals, Like it's like, okay, well, I know I've got to clear out half the males.
We could do that pretty quick, blah blah blah.
You know, you can initiate in the flower and you want reveg it, but when it comes to outdoor, it's like, well, you're just stuck wasting a bunch of mix every time you run into a male.
If you're not doing a regular population, which half of me still like some of the males that I found in the blue and cross during this run, gorgeous through everything i'd look for in a male, like a blue breeding male, and I've just been just you know, just ripping them out.
That kind of sucks, but all the name of fem seeds.
But yeah, it's it's it's something I've definitely learned.
Put them in big, big, big big pots.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3That's probably especially important where you're at because it's fucking so hot and goddamn dry everything.
Speaker 5Yeah, Like normally i'd started out in seed trays, seed trays, then transplant, start transplanting up slowly, but this isn't like starting even seed trays was already like kind of a I don't know, I cut myself short a little bit because I should have already had them into big pots.
There's some nice looking females there, but I'm pretty much relying on the next round of pops that I had set up because the first round wilted for a day when I was sick, and it's just like, spent so much time recovering that stuff going into flower isn't it's not gonna be what I want even for making seeds, so even when it comes to reverse, you want them as healthy as possible.
You don't want to will be in there, so made you another big ass pop.
Luckily, where I'm at it flowers forever, so you know what I mean, Like it's a long flowering cycle.
Speaker 3Yeah, you got time to stuff them in again after everyone's probably gone home with their outs.
Speaker 5Yeah, and hopefully by that time it's cool enough to where I can run some indoor and outdoor at the same time.
I'd make my life so much easier being able to keep clones and all that shit.
But it's just still at that point where it's barely coming down cool enough to be able to use an indoor place.
So yeah, it's it's it's constant learning.
I mean, almost twenty years of indoor and I did have some outdoor in San Diego, but it was mostly with other people's help, you know, like showing me what to do.
I just do it here.
It's just it's definitely been a whole new experience and it sucks.
It's us it's a lot harder.
Like people from outdoor to indoor tend to say that indoor is harder than outdoor.
But I think outdoors way harder, way, way more labor intensive, way, more time constraints.
Things like that, I would say, or some of my bigger issues, especially with ADHD, time constraints are not my thing.
Speaker 3Yeah, dude.
One of the things that I'm having trouble with is like, so do I just I just fucking like cross my fingers and hope that like it doesn't get too fucked up, you know, before the end of flowering or what you know, like because inside, like if I can just have it healthy when it flips and I can spray it with some sulfur or some type of anti fungal, you know, up until the stigma start pushing out, then I'm good, you know.
But like, fuck, I'm still dealing with buds now.
I'm just hoping and praying that that works out.
I guess.
Yeah.
Speaker 5I just saw a dead albino grasshopper in the bottom of a pot, and I was like, no, because that just means that there's more and they're just ravage shit, ravage.
It just battling and being in the ad valley where I'm at, Like they dumped spider mites on the side of the highway to control like weeds and stuff like that, so dead.
Speaker 3It's the dumbest fucking move you can do when you produce the majority of the fruits and vegetables for the entire country, like Jesus fucking Christ.
Speaker 5And we see white flies here NonStop because of all the fruit production and stuff.
White flies are definitely something we battle here.
So yeah, mostly just been thrips and the aphids and stuff like that, little battles here and there, but I'm ready for the bigger ones, especially because outdoors you have rats, you have possums, you have We don't have deer here, thank god, but you know, we have a lot of other horrible, horrible assassins and plants that I have yet.
So I've dealt with rats indoor too, like in an outdoor separated garage.
I remember we had them like paratrooping from the ceiling, dropping thirteen feet in, climbing over chicken wire, just doing crazy shit.
So I'm not looking forward to that party.
Speaker 3Yeah, I mean, even even stuff that I didn't expect, like I'm having to every single day, like two to three times a day, just like get off the little crape myrtle petals from my crepe myrtle tree.
That's dropping flowers right now, you know, just to make sure it doesn't get stuck in there and mold the fuck out.
Speaker 5Yeah, yeah, I do love some micronized sulfur.
And I think on a previous episode someone was asking about sulfur or something and they were I think they were referring to micronized, but at no point did we reference it.
Usually when we're talking about sulfur in here, not talking about sulfur burning, which you know is an old CSI still sulfur burns.
The wettable sulfur for me was like next level not having to deal with sulfur burners kicking on and off and screwing up and you know, all the gas that goes with it.
Just the wettable sulfur smells so much better.
It smells like like hot beach sand.
There's a whole bunch of reasons, and it's just so effective.
Speaker 3That's a really good description of the smell.
It's like like like like clean sand, yes, clean hot beach sand, which I uh said, switching to that one, the one that you use and all the guys first, yeah, I've had zero fucking issues spread like I use an atomizer now, Still no issues before I wasn't even able to use a regular like pump sprayer, yeah, without shaking the ship out of it every time I spray, you know.
Speaker 5Yeah, I used one of those big foggers, I remember, I had a small First, I bought the big fogger that comes like almost backpack style.
It's like one hundred something pounds and then you turn it on and it's like a turbine engine, blowing every plant over.
That was the first one I got to for the microthial dispersed.
But yeah, I ended up learning to use the little hand version of that.
It's much better, doesn't blow the plants over break them.
Speaker 3So yeah, yeah, I used the can of foger.
It's got like a little low power light on the front and everything, so when you're in there with the lights out, you'd still see what you're hitting and ship.
Yeah, which, guys, make sure when you're spraying your plants and still like it's for IPM and shit like that, clean them up, clean up all those hiding spots.
Speaker 5Yes, it's a big, big part of it.
Cleaning your plants is important.
Airflow you don't want mold, you know, is a thousand reasons to clean your plants, more places for bugs to hide them, to hide your plants up.
All right, So we do have some questions.
I mean, like, I don't even know if we go over anything.
There's no point in going.
People can go google what happened this week for new stuff.
I don't probably don't have anything anybody wants to hear about that.
Yes they are.
But yeah, other than that, like I don't really have I don't have much I can input, but there are some golden ones I'm sure Pilot will come up with.
Yeah, I uh.
Some may have noticed too.
My Instagram accounts are down per usual.
It's just I get used to it.
They get reported, I appeal, I get them back.
It's just people report me for the craziest of shit.
So if you're trying to contact me by Instagram, my apologies.
The Right Seeds and riot Seed Cover were both down right now.
Typical shit.
Also people that are going to my site to purchase stuff.
I'm working with a new company called m Wire, and right now we're trying to figure out any of the bugs to make sure it's not a pain in the ass.
But there have been a few bugs as far as check out, So right now I have it taken down just until we have all the bugs cleaned up.
So I want people to have a decent experience when they check out with digital stuff, because it is a pain in the ass in the first place.
I realize a lot, not a lot of people have dealt with that.
But yeah, I think m wire is going to be the way to go.
And once the bugs are worked out.
And again, anybody who's tried using it, apologies if you didn't go through.
We have other options as well.
Speaker 3But that is.
Speaker 5Another thing I wanted to talk about real quick.
Just yeah, yeah, yeah.
I talked to him as late as tonight and trying to girl, what the hell, what that hell is going on in way's running into issues?
But it's brand new technology, so it's going to happen, all right.
So we have a long list of q and a's.
Speaker 3Yes, let's start with a question from Barrick don Darien.
How important is the callous when it comes to health and expression?
I cannot see it in the cubes.
Should I be focusing more on getting a callous?
And what is the best way to achieve it?
Speaker 5Okay, so getting getting a callous, and he's referring to cloning and building the callus where the roots form.
It's important.
I mean, for for for rooting, you need a good callus to spit roots.
But I've also spit roots outside of a callus, so it's not necessarily one hundred one hundred.
It's important.
Both of your plant is important from beginning to end.
One thing Radio Ridge gave me a good tip on that I didn't truly understand, like even this lake, was that when he was rooting stuff like skittles and things that were really hard to root, the best thing he did was really, really really PhD down his cubes down to the point of where they're hitting you know, five and no higher because according to him, and he has a lot more experience within mass cloning, you know, putting out thirty thousand clones a day, that five point zero pH is a good area for roots to be developing.
Anything above six they don't really want to develop that well, So if you're going for that root callous, keith the pH low according to Radio Ridge, and again when it comes to like mass cloning owls and all that stuff, yeah, that's it is important, yep.
Speaker 3And I guess so that covers the best way to achieve it too.
Also if you guys want to look.
We have a a calyst cloning video that earned made a couple of years ago on the channel.
Speaker 5M is it on the channel and it's up for where people can search it.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Uh well I'd have to look at make sure we didn't delete it.
Speaker 5Yeah yeah, but yeah, go check out Big Urns.
Go through our videos, look up Big Urns tutorial on it.
That's the best way to do it.
I don't have the the link off hand.
Speaker 3Yeah, well, I'll probably post it in the comments for those watching later watching this video later.
So we have another question from approximate knowledge of many things, Okay, is it rare to find strains that smoke the same as they smell while growing?
Are there any strains known for this?
Speaker 5It smoked the same while growing, you know, like that, So that's leaving out the whole curing process.
I can say the one strain, and it was it was a specific cut from a string.
Was the strawberry cream was from the f three run cedarberry farms.
Did It smelled and taste like strawberries, And that was without any cure.
Even with a cure it would amplify a little bit.
But it was one of those strains you could you could dry and people wanted it right away because it smelled just like it should.
So yeah, it's off the top of my head, yes, there there are definitely things that exist like that.
And then there's things like grkle, you know, where it smells like skunk through like eighty percent of its flowering and then at the very end it just turns grape and tastes and smells grape.
And there's a lot of things that don't necessarily taste like they smell, you know, that's that's not necessarily something that is common.
You know, there's stuff I've had stuff that smells like blueberry that doesn't taste like blueberry unfortunately.
Yeah, off the top of my head, that's just a few.
Speaker 3Yeah.
I will say the the blue bonnet stuff tends to transfer very well flavor wise.
The Valley of Lost Souls from Cronzo flavor translates are super fucking good on that same with like the stone ape.
But I think it's more so about the profile, you know, like whether or not it can physically you know, like transfer, you know, can it survive the heat and all that stuff, and then is there enough left to actually taste and hate your tongue the way it needs to.
Speaker 5Ah there, volatile turps, alcohols, all that kind of stuff comes into play too, you know.
Speaker 6Yeah, okay from j l are these fictional or just extinct strains?
Speaker 3Lamb spread and purple Zacha tech us?
Speaker 5Oh okay, so this is a good one.
So for most of my career, Lambs Spread has been talked about.
I believe it was supposed to be pronounced Lamb's breath originally, but because it was pronounced by Jamaicans, their their accent made it sound lambs bread.
You know, it's it's supposed to be the lambs breath does It was Bob Marley's favorite strain.
That's one of the reasons it became the most famous.
There's been a lot of people traveling to Jamaica, you know, since the seventies and sixties and collecting seeds.
I I don't currently know eight one hundred true verify straight out there.
I do know the ViBe's Collectives guy have a Lamb spread that they work with.
I don't know much about it, so I can't come in on that sick one.
But outside the Vibes guys, I am like when I see lambspread.
I just think, okay, you know, it's one of those things where it's like, Okay, it could be a Jamaican, could be whatever, it doesn't really matter.
It is one that I dismissed pretty quickly, you know, without really good provenaus behind it, because of all that.
It just this is such an idiot.
The other one, what was the other one?
It was Zacatecas purple.
Zacateca.
Yeah, so there was the Zihuatajo perp in the seventies.
It may it was supposed to be responsible for a lot of the purples coming up from Mexico.
I can't remember the magazine.
I have a couple of copies of it off the top my head, but fans of it, there was also stuff coming from the Zacatecas Mountains in Mexico.
I don't know if Zihuatanejo is so hard that people just kind of put z purple in front of stuff and went with that because Zacatecas Purple became another famous one, or maybe just in that region.
There was a lot of purple going on in Mexico.
With that said, zach Tecas purple.
The only thing I know that could possibly maybe exist, Big Sir, Holyweed, which is the tea lean bomb and just a lot of Afghani infused.
So yeah, m hm okay.
Speaker 3And from this next questions from empty Beach, we asked, do plants from seed and clone grow and smoke the same aside from having staggered nodes, I have heard that flowering plants right from seed can be slightly more likely to herm.
Speaker 5Yes, they are more likely to herm from seed.
There's a lot more why am I blanking today on shit?
A lot more hormones involved in seedlings, which is why they are quicker to herb.
They haven't adapted to your environment.
They haven't had time to acclimate.
That usually has something to do with as well.
But there are more hormones in a seedling than in a clone.
As far as smoking the same clone to seed or seed limb to clone, things tend to change between the two, you know.
And it just depends on if you keep liking it.
Hopefully you do keep liking it whenever you selected, doesn't change too much.
Speaker 3Well, I think it's also that you know, you get better at growing it, you know, like you and get it to really really express better.
Yeah, okay, this one is from Silver Pilot, mister pilot.
What conditions and nutrients do ogs seem to like best?
Same question with sour.
Speaker 5OG's less water.
They have a shittier root system obviously that's a big part of it.
They're all older clones to most of them.
Unless you're getting newer stuff and poppy from seed, then things can change.
The cow mag thing is for real with og cush does like a lot of cow mag through flour.
What else is there to say about O G cush.
It's it's a different growing Like if you haven't grown og kush, but you've grown a lot of cookie stuff, you're gonna see a lot of trade, similar between Christian cookies.
So I can't say that people wouldn't understand the length of OG now.
But it's a plant.
It's very lanky.
A lot of the clones needed to be braced self supported early on because it is so lanky.
You could try some power SI to strengthen some of the cell walls, things like that can help.
Yeah, I don't know, OG is just og.
Speaker 3Yeah, I'm actually finding out about that whole calcium thing with the fifty six H and L suggested that I get a liquid calcium instead of like I've been using micronized gypsum for calcium, and he said the only thing he's found that has like helped, you know, cut that back on OG's has been liquid.
Speaker 5Yeah.
I like I botannic care calmg, even general hydrophenics cowmg.
I've still suck for either or either or bottles.
Speaker 3Yeah, alright.
Speaker 5If sour diesel is a heavy feeder, sour typically isn't a monster feeder.
You don't want it to have big monster colas.
The best sours I've had are budlets everywhere on a big plant.
It's been topped a lot.
That's how I always got sour to perform best.
I didn't like the big, heavy, fucking big old dunks on it.
As far as feeding diesels, pretty run of the mill.
With feeding sours pretty run of the mill.
I mean, they might take more forest feed, but then you're trading off, especially if you're feeding like nitrogen and flour, then you're trading off like stacking and stuff like that for resin production.
So all it all depends on when you're feeding.
Why you probably that helps them, I don't know.
Speaker 3Yeah, there there's also uh, you know, I know people who push stuff pretty fucking hard and they get you know a lot a lot better harvests like yield and ship than I do.
But there there always seems to be something lacking there in the smoke, you know, something that that leaves me wanting more.
Like even of you know, same ship that that I know smoke, it's still smokes good, don't get me wrong, but yeah, it's like when they get pushed too fuck.
There's a fine line between really, you know, getting a good shot at it while also not pushing it too hard.
Speaker 5Yeah, exactly.
Let's see.
Do you guys think ester's and phenols add to the entourage effect?
Speaker 3I e.
Speaker 5Is there a big difference between smoking a fresh patch and a batch that's been cured and the plant alcohols of off gas?
So one thing I can say is this, these smells will definitely change between the two.
And I'm thinking specifically of diesel here in my head where I know it's got a bunch of like the sulphuric type smells, which are alcohols, I believe.
I don't fucking know.
Is there a big difference between smoking a fresh patch and a batch that's been cured?
I mean, tastes, flavors.
I don't know about as far as does it add to the entourage effect?
I think again, it goes back to what kind of human are you?
How does it affect your brain chemistry?
Do certain alcohols when smoked affect your brain chemistry different than others?
That is a hard call.
I could.
I'm not the guy to ask that particular question.
Speaker 3Yeah, you'll, you'll probably, You'll probably do better focusing on do I like this individual like fresher or you know, giving it a longer cure, because I have stuff like that where it's like, I'll run shit together because some stuff just smokes a lot better fresher than other things that kind of take their time to really gain character.
Speaker 5So here's here's a good question.
Does anyone know what the UW strain is?
Not the purple but the original I had near Seattle around ninety four It was green, not purple.
So this goes back to an old story Danalli has in Washington around that same time.
There were two there were two cuts.
One was called Marty and one was called Danny.
And I can't remember which was the green and which was the purple.
Maybe can always hear he could chime in, But this is going back to the eighties.
You know, Seattle in ninety four would be quite a bit later.
There's the black UW I've seen.
I don't know how good the is on the Black UW.
There is the Pacific Northwest hash plant that a few of us use, and a lot of people would consider that.
The Marty the green one I do remember now, but it's just all in who you put stock in, belief and provenance and all that.
There's a lot to it.
But there were two supposedly there were two original strains from the University of Washington dB, which is where they got their name.
You dobo eighty eight G thirteen hashpoint.
Just curious what a male would give to female or the traits of passes.
Now, every male and every female is going to breed different.
You know, some may be dominant for a trade when you cross up something, some may not.
AG thirteen hashplant was kind of a very earthy short squat Afghani type plant, and it tends to pass down those traits.
There's some pretty color traits with it, very earthy, you know.
Leave it at that.
Have you tried csiz mendo purps, skittles, screw.
Speaker 3I have not.
I had that one and then I gave I gave, I gave it away.
I got it as a prep.
Those are not That's not stuff I'm interested in.
Speaker 5Yeah, it's same.
I don't like this is giittles much.
I don't like Mendo purps personally, the clone.
I haven't ran through the s ones.
Yeah, it's nothing i'd be into, but there's a lot of people who would be.
You know, he likes he likes that kind of stuff.
He likes the mental purpse a lot to the terps and Skidtles obviously very turpy, So I think that's what he was going for.
Speaker 3Yeah, if you're someone who smokes for flavor, I don't think you're gonna be disappointed for sure.
Speaker 5Yeah.
I don't have any experience again with CSI's Mendo purpse kim D.
I have a lot of experience with clones that we've all worked with, but not a lot of experience with seeds unless it's something that we're collabing on Mendo purps kim D.
Kim D's potent Mendo purpose is the opposite.
You get an experience with these looks flavors potency.
I mean kim D's an afghany Mendo purpose is a big broad leaf Afghany.
I'm probably gonna have some purple in it.
I'm gonna have.
You're gonna have to lean on Kim D for potency on all of it.
Speaker 3Yeah, for sure.
Like I've ran a Mendo P a hybrid before the end of the LA by Mendo P and their Jesus it was.
It smelled great, smoked, amazing, all that stuff, but there was just nothing like no oomph to it at all.
Now the Mendo P by Kim D, I would be interested in looking at that, but you're gonna want to make sure to strip it the fuck up because even after stripping up like all the skirts, I still got one that like hermed all the fucking way all over it.
Speaker 5Yeah.
How small would Loopu's headband S one be with training?
So you're asking about S one's, They're all gonna express a little different.
There may be a short squat one in there.
I don't know.
Loop's headband itself is very lanky.
It likes to grow tall and lanky and keep stretching.
So how small would Loop's headband I'm just referring without the S one part.
With training, you could try to keep it squat, but that the internode's facing is like this with OG's like it's and they're bendi.
They're not really super strong stems.
So yeah, train it.
Well.
Speaker 3It sucks getting clones off of that off of that fifty six because like I always like to have a node at the bottom that like I'm using to root and with the stretch on it.
Jesus Yeah.
Speaker 5Does kem D from seed pass along variegation or is that just the clone?
I think that variegation is heavily in the D line, so you're going to see it in like hybrids of kem D.
You're it be passing along randomly.
It's just variegation.
It runs through a variegation runs heavily in OG and triangle and a few others do there.
You go for a loop's headband as one going one is laying down like a vine.
That that's probably your most loop his head bandy three, you know, like the most like the glone three are nice skunk type plants.
I know when you say skunk, I'm not sure what you're referring to there, just because so many people use that term differently.
It's not a skunky strain when it's flowering, it's not very skunk oney and looks or curbs or any of that.
But yeah, I mean, yeah, hopefully that helps.
Speaker 3I got one from the discord here from Dizzy Dubs.
Okay, what is the most self gens you have done and what were the results?
Did you get any mutations?
S?
Speaker 5Two and yes, but it was clockwork stuff so it was already in there.
Speaker 3Did you have trouble pop in like did the seeds have trouble forming or popping stuff like that?
Speaker 5No?
But no, but there as we have encountered that in other stuff.
Seeds not popping, they look okay, not popping, or the seeds all just look modeled and kind of shitty.
Once you start going down the s, the self derange and keep going in that direction with just selfing and selfing quickly or quickly quicker to dive into recessive and things you may not want.
It doesn't necessarily necessarily mean recessive is bad, though I don't want to.
I probably need to point that out because when we refer to recessive, some people just think it's perceissive means bad.
Speaker 3Yeah, okay, okay, so there you go explain to them what what we mean when we say recessive and dominant.
Speaker 5Okay, so dominant.
Trying to think of how best to describe this in breeding with dominance or in a clone with just dominance, A dominant clone, dominant seed long dominant just tends to mean when you cross it to something, generally speaking, it overtakes the cross be it visually sent.
Each one of these is a trait, so it could be just one of these, or it could be all the above structures.
You know, I said scent taste, all that stuff could come through, and it could constantly come through, and everything that's crossed through, you would consider that like a dominant breeding clone.
Recessive refers specifically to the genetics that mean you have to go further into a population like F two F three to start getting some of these outliers or pop up that you would not see in the F once.
Now, some of these are going to be really really good, and some of these are going to suck.
You know, some of those outliers would be like, holy shit, I've never seen this in this and it might be from pollen contamination too, So you've got to keep all that into mind.
Someone asked what's the difference between airborne G thirteen hashplant eighty eight hashplant?
There was no such thing as an Airborne G thirteen hashplant, and their hash G thirteen hashplant wasn't released in nineteen eighty eight, so neither term is actually correct.
But yeah, airborne was a California clone.
G thirteen hashplant was made in Europe by Neville using the original G thirteen clone.
Airborne G thirteen was selected from Nevill's G thirteen n L two, and it was selected the United States, so you're adding some NL two in there, whereas you know, like the eighty and G thirteen hashplant technically would be G thirteen crushed a hashplant crossed NL one, So hopefully it helps some.
The hashplant he never was.
Speaker 3Using was.
Speaker 5For stuff like this specifically was hashplant n L one.
I know I should probably all the Nevill hold let me call the Nevill Master real quick since he oh wait, I forgot I used to talk to Neville personally.
Speaker 3And yeah, uh uh this comment from red Eye Gooner, it is a little bit off.
I understand where you're coming from, but that recessive traits are things that need uh homozygous homozygosity to be able to express, not just like blue eyes, right, it's the same thing you gotta have.
You got to have both alleles line up in an individual in order to see it express That is what we mean with recessive.
Speaker 5And that and and and again.
Undesirable traits is something that is subjective.
So blue eyes might be undesirable to someone, but that's subjective.
So let's say we go through mendo purps.
Perfect example, we go through mendo purps.
I know what mendo purpse is, like, I know the general potency speaking, but the outliers in mendo purps, some of them can be very skunky and have potency and lots of resin.
Some of those recessives are high potency, high resin, beautiful plants and skumky.
So at that point, is that something we should just toss because it's recessive, Like, I'm I would probably not, But you know, that's just one of those examples that I can think of.
Speaker 3Yeah, I think, I think.
He just it's just the phrasing needs to be worked on to be more accurately stated, because I get the whole you know, like the purpose of breeding is to increase the propensity of the expressions you want.
Speaker 5But yeah, hi, i'm att.
We was sure similar experiences when skump one is involved.
Can you handle your blue cheese?
So the UK cheese exod this cut blue bonnet, green crack and shit.
I hate shit from chanty, hate it, skunk one, green crack.
I like how it breeds, I like how it smells.
I like what comes out of it visually.
I like all of the traits except smoking it UK cheese saying I like a lot of the terps.
I like how variant it is.
I like how variant even the flavors and inhale can be.
I do not like the high I just don't.
Usually when you add blue into something, I can take it better.
The blue cheese I made so few of that I just kept them back.
There's so few of those that they just got kept back.
And yes I did personally.
No Neville his sister will attest to that.
I had a brief period of time through twenty ten eleven where we spoke constantly, worked on projects, and I was very lucky to be able to do that.
Though I do wish that I would have asked him.
I wish I would have had the brain that I have now to ask him what I'd like to know now as opposed to what I was interested in it.
When we were working together, he was more interested in learning about the clones that had come out in California since he had gone off the radar, so I was happy to teach him about those.
There were certain strains I was interested in a lot, like the Haze and stuff like that I was really interested in, But I wasn't interested in as much like Early Pearl, Early Girl, Silver Pearl, stuff like that.
I would have loved to have gotten more info on him from him on.
I wasn't as interested in super Skunk God.
I wish I would have asked every super scone question, but end up where it is, okay, What determines a feminize seed and a regular seed?
What happens if you cross a feminized to a regular, reversal to a regular, etcetera.
So it determines a feminie seed.
If the pollen came from a female that is intersects and has male parts kicking pollen with the XX chromosome, I guess you would say, then you will end up with feminize seeds regular seeds.
You're using just male pollen.
What happens if you cross feminized to a regular you end up back with a regular because you're reintroducing the white chromosome and reversal to regular.
Say say, anytime you cross regular back into a femini seeds, you end up with regular seeds.
Speaker 3Okay, we got one from the discord here, all right, since you were talking about super skunk, this one's from Huckleberry.
All right.
When people say super Skunk is gone, but we know it is a parent of Gesel, is that a Bible route to select over generation more closely to get something that more closely resembles super Skunk of the past.
Speaker 5Yeah, I think the jesel as ones were the quickest route to release seeds that were identical to super Skunk of the past.
I think that is in my opinion, from all the super skunks I've seen, it is the best old clone of super Skunk there is.
And I do not think that there is ken d inside of Diesel.
Despite what the Cana Bible, Kem, Doug, Greg, Lots of Love everybody else has said, it doesn't make any sense.
Ken Bey does not kick a lot of viable pallen when it is not intentionally hermed.
However, mass Superskunk was notorious for throwing live balls and pollen all over the place.
In rooting groups.
So if the receiver is the mass super skunk and ken D doesn't kick viable pollen, and we know mass superskunk is always harming, it's a pretty easy logical conclusion that if you end up with a clone and you run s ones of that clone and there's no kim D in it, that you are looking at a self diversion of the clone that normally hurms.
So yeah, I think it's a great, a great way to get to that.
Speaker 3All right.
Uh here, this is a fun one from Black Forest Budbuster.
If you could only smoke one strain before you die, which one would it be?
Speaker 5Oh, smoke one strain before I die?
Papa New Guinea Gold.
Speaker 3Yeah, we're talking on your deathbed and it's like fucking magic box that opens with the joint of the weed that you're thinking of or whatever.
Speaker 5Yep, Papa New Guinea Gold.
That's one that that it's like a white whale.
A lot of Ausi's always talk about it because they're closer to Papua New Guinea.
There is a I don't know if it's a myth.
I don't know much about it, but just anybody I know from Australia back in the day who has smoked it thinks it is the peak of all peaks of all like people whose opinions I really really rank.
I think that Papua mc guinea gold is something to behold, So I'd like to try that, you know, before it's all gone all of a sudden.
Speaker 3Is it Is it something that is gone and you just or is it something that's just hard to source?
Speaker 5I mean, Papa New Guinea is a kind of wild place, so I don't know, I really don't know.
No, Wally Duck was very familiar with it, and he's who I talked to about it most, but even he was saying, it's hard to get anything in and out of Papa mc guinea.
It's a wild wild land, so hopefully it's still there.
Speaker 3Yeah, I would.
I would pick Asian Fantasy just so I can call it min like as I'm dying, you know, just to keep the mystery going.
Speaker 5Yes.
Yes, I actually had someone hit me up after some of the shows we did about Asian Fantasy and he said that he had the clone and that he was able to smoke it.
And I was always told the guy he never gave the clone up with whatever.
But he seems realistic, and he seemed to know a shit just for people who have never seen it.
Let me see if I can get a good picture here.
There's some Asian fantasy.
It's not you could tell it wasn't grown the best.
Yeah, there he goes.
You can kind of see some of the tailtale red stems, which you'll see in some Asian stuff.
Even in blueberry looks like it wants to keep flowering forever, you know, not the most beautiful plant, but that is Asian fantasy.
I see it in a lot of collectives listed all the time that you know, people could buy it and smoke it or whatever.
I definitely do not believe that this is a clumb that made it out big when it was around and people demanded it.
Speaker 3But alone now, yeah, well there were some big fraudsters who sold seeds of it, right like.
Speaker 5Oh yeah, j J New York top dog.
Yeah.
And the only reason he used it in fairness, not calling him a scammer, I'm in this situation.
I Uh, he trusted Brothel Brothers and they said they had blue Asian fantasy.
They game seeds.
He used it in lines and that's that.
So he's helped keep it going, but it was all fake from the beginning.
Anything from Rafel Brothers was notoriously fake, including their dog Bud, their dodgy bud.
There bubba, like there's so many different things you can mint chocolate bubba.
Speaker 3Stupid shit, all right, And this one's from Manny Phoenix.
Would old bag seed fifteen to twenty years be a good place to start for personal breeding flash seed making.
He He knows people don't like working with bag seed, but feels it could be a good place to rediscover potentially lost strains.
And I'm going to add in expressions.
Speaker 5Sure, I think you know what, if you're the type of personality that can one, you want to make sure that you've really gotten old seeds, not just someone's work, you know.
And if they're old seeds, however they stored where they're storted in a fridge.
If not, scratch your head.
If they all pop right, like if they're like fifty pleasure old seed, its even twenty pleasure old seeds.
Just you know, you got to be sess of all that stuff.
But it has to take a person that isn't like me.
I can't I have bag seeds from Jojo Rizo still in here, all kinds of people that are giving me bag seeds over the years that I've never popped because I'm too anal and I need to know what i'm working with if I find something I like.
I think I'm more apt now to be at least able to pick out regions, Like if I see something, I can roughly guess an idea.
Is it again, he is it African?
Is it South America?
Mexican?
Maybe not so much, even though I smoked a lot of Mexican brick growing up, that's a different era.
That's when they were importing all kinds of different stuff down there.
Mexican would be hard, but I think nowadays I could probably do it okay.
But you'd have to be comfortable going into a project and never knowing the parentage and then carrying that project on and every time someone asks you what's in it?
Well, it's a bag seat, which some people love hearing and some people fucking hate hearing.
So it's just in a preference on that.
Speaker 3Yeah, Also, you gotta be discerning, you know, like if you don't remember that bag, maybe don't start with that one, you know, if it pops out in your mind, and you're like, oh shit, I remember, you know, getting these pounds.
Then you know, yeah, obviously proceed, yeah, and proceed with caution still, you know, like you have to be realistic about because it, for all you know, it could just be you know, it could have been bag scenes of something that was you know, fake to start with, so you gotta be kind of careful.
That's that is why people don't like messing with them exactly.
Speaker 5Beamon asked if I think if the Asian fantasy was a Swazi gold Now it's a supposed to be just in Southeast Asian of some sort, and all that stuff's in there.
There's lots of gold, all the old gold Buddha tie and stuff like that.
It's just more a matter of not feeding your plants properly.
It is a good one found some NL five.
I have Skittles regulars at a convention in Pennsylvania.
At least that's what the old hippie guy said for a buck of bean.
Yes.
Well, like first off, like I start with Gittle's clone.
There's so few people with that clone anymore because it was so hard to root.
It was a pain in the ass.
It's not a good grower.
It's not a great plant.
If you like turps, maybe you maybe love that turp.
That would be a reason to keep it.
But so a few people could keep it they wanted to do because it's so hard to fucking root.
So already I'm like, okay, I know how many people have skittles in their hands?
Probably not, Probably not.
Old hippie dude gonna be one of the dudes having skittles in his hands.
It was kept pretty tight.
NL five being the female.
By the way it was written and crossed to skittles, there are no gitttles rigs.
There are zecube this gittles b x three.
But it wouldn't just be skittles.
There is an outcross in there, so it would be incorrect just called skittles.
But you never know.
It's old hippi dudes, right, Marker's and marker.
Speaker 3Yeah, you also got to think about it.
It's not I get the whole Oh they only cost a dollar a seed, so I could get ten or twenty seeds for ten or twenty bucks.
But it's also the time that you are about to spend in hopes and dreams, you know.
Speaker 5Tace time, all of it.
And then let's say you like it and you think it's dank?
Does that mean it's in all five skittles?
Probably not?
But are you gonna carry it on that way and tell people that most people would, you know, just because they think it's dank.
Most people come up with the idea that well, even though the light about what's on the package, it's fire.
So I'm just gonna go I see that all the time and it just blows my mind.
Fire are subjective too?
Yeah, all right, here's when I can answer quickly, what do you think about brothers grim seeds worth growing anything within the everything since twenty sixteen as fusolutely not old?
Brothers grim seeds can have some good shit in them because Slide was making the seeds and not Soul.
Soul was a fraud.
Leave it.
That's there's just so much documented evidence about Soul coming back in twenty sixteen, not knowing how to grow, not knowing how to reverse plants, had to buy my reversal spray off me.
Three months after buying my reversal spray off me, before he finished a reversal, he was giving lectures on how to do make feminize seeds.
That's the kind of person you're dealing with provenance, couldn't give less of a shit.
Just be careful, be careful.
That one's an extra hard one though, because it was a legitimate company a long long time ago.
He disappeared until twenty sixteen.
Soul did not come back with his partner.
His partner, if you go back and look on overgro when the split happened, his partner left him because he ripped him off.
So that's why brothers graham demise happened.
It was all public, So all this is really easy searchable.
That's not the one.
That's not the guy, that's not Brother's dream.
That's mister Soul.
He is a problem.
And I it sounds like I have nothing nice to say, but in this case, like there's just yeah, it just is what it is.
This is, this is the seed world.
I don't care if it's me, I don't care who it is.
I always assume someone's bullshitting about something.
Get better knowledge, get better, get better at answering, knowing the answers to these questions that you ask breeders and be able to put them on their toes.
That includes me, send me questions, put me on my toes.
Do it to everyone know the answers before you go in.
Then you get an idea of how compromised of a seed maker is or isn't.
Speaker 3Yeah, you'll notice the same playing koy bullshit with it.
Like they they should be able to give you simple answers.
Speaker 5Yes, be it why they chose what they did, they're reasoning for going down specific lines?
What did they do to lock in traits?
Simple breeder questions?
Ask them, did they try to lock in any traits?
Or are they more interested in having a highly variant expression in every pack because that is some people.
Maybe that's that's what they're into.
Yeah, any specific sump which Hayes was used in seed there's no Hayes in C ninety nine used.
We didn't know what C ninety nine was.
Nobody's ever known what C ninety nine is.
If there's a haze in it, it could be by like some I think it was Soul who said, oh, maybe it's Jack Harrer across to Durban or something, you know, like, we just don't know.
Maybe it's Jack Harrer, but Jack Harrot doesn't kick a shootoad of pineapple finos.
There's something else in it, you know, So I don't know, yeah, it's a it's an eight week flower asking whisch haze would be rough?
Speaker 3You'd have to Yeah, anyway, highlight the next one from the observer.
Yes, unfortunately it's not just the old, it's already in the new.
It's just something that's going to continue to happen.
Speaker 5Yes.
Yeah, we had people even posting today trying to get people to snitch some more.
It was one of the most famous cannabis snitch res is.
Uh, buddy, I'll just leave it.
Speaker 3In a nice buddy.
He's probably been dethroned on that now.
But this whole Pip ghost thing going on.
Speaker 5You know, even even still then, Race snitched on so many people, just snitched on one, so it's like there's no comparison.
That is the worst snitch case to ever happened, because it affected so many people want our sea bag everywhere else.
And it just goes back to the argument of well, it is just telling on himself and everybody else had already told on him, so he told on them too.
It just shut the fuck up.
We all know what we're doing, we all know what we're getting into this floor.
Stop stop whiring, stop making excuses.
Speaker 3Yeah, that whole excuse.
Shit doesn't fucking fly.
You could say, oh, the cops did all that, Like, yeah, dude, the cops do that to all of us, Like all of us who have had police interactions.
That is what happens.
They do the same fucking thing.
Speaker 5You know.
Speaker 3Just shut the fuck up.
If you're in this scene, shut the fuck up.
Speaker 5It helps a lot.
What else do we have here?
I just highlighted this one just because I were used to talking back to these people.
But that's funny.
If I wanted money, i'd be out of the seat industry buddy.
In this I was asking about the origin of the Papua New Guinea.
Go oh, where's the gold come from?
I don't know.
It's supposed to be just a land races as best we know.
For that one else we got here.
Speaker 3I got another one here from peys Peirs.
What do you consider to be right Seed's most potent strain currently and then also any other creation of the past.
So I take that as currently available on the site, or I guess blue bonnet work the more current stuff versus because I think I know what the old one's going to be.
Speaker 5Yeah, oh one's clockworkornge P ninety one stuff.
Like that m current potency by testing, I would go blue resin cush just based on testing and yeah, specifically just testing.
Speaker 3No, no, specifically not testing, like what one just like put your dick in the dirt, you know.
Speaker 5Mmm, what would be a good dick in the dirt one?
I mean triangle joke and put your dick in the dirt.
Oh yeah, that's a pretty good example of dick in the dirt.
Speaker 3Weed.
That's been the that one and the uh the keem siss one by Blue bon have been the two that are like, oh fuck, you know, like they'll ruined parties sometimes.
Speaker 5Yeah, I mean like I've done so much work with blue the past few years trying to just zoom in on potency, which is what I like.
Most of my career was spent on either bringing purples potency or chirps, and with the Blueberry it was all focused on terps, but keeping potency well above the DJ short range, which can murder terps.
I'm sorry, murder murder potentcy blue sour.
You can find super potent stuff in that bubbleberry.
You can find potent stuff in it, but it's less of the flavor than I wanted.
So I don't push it super hard.
It's gorgeous.
I like the high, but it's just I want more flavor in it.
So I'm really looking forward to the Bubbleberry V three, which is gonna be more the bombing in it.
Speaker 3Yeah, if you could just ink, man, it smelled so fucking good.
It grew so well, and like that was a very hearty plan.
It took triple digit heat with no air, no light, nothing for a week.
Yeah, no problem.
Still smelled great, still looked great, Still got me high.
It's just the flavor.
It's just not not in there on it.
Speaker 5Soul fire is my bitch.
Speaker 3I I've never heard of anyone keeping something and holding onto it from sulfire that us saying something.
Speaker 5He was a young kid like when when he when he showed up, he was exotic Mike's little best buddy.
And he hit me up and told me I need to change the name of a strain.
That was around five years before he even started making seeds.
And he hit and and usually normally, like when people tell me shit like about strains, I'll be nice, I don't care.
But he did it in such a demanding, commanding way, and I'm like, you little fucking nude.
You just showed up and you're telling me to change my strain name because you just showed up and decided to use it.
So I named it.
So I was like, okay, and I named it soul Fires, my bitch, And ever since that's been his reputation.
Yeah, any of the Exotic Mike crew.
I just don't have any respect for it, just because I know how it all started up there, watched it for fall all generate into selling golf bags with his logo soda on to it.
For I mean, just keep the fuck out of here and call that.
Did he get the roster Jeffers Blucifer too?
No, But someone else went after me for my Blucifer.
That's how I ended up with trademark Chad.
Someone said they had the name trademarked, so I said, okay, I'll name it after you.
You know, there's a lot of times where it's like do you sit there.
Back in the day, we used to fight our names all the time.
That was super important, Like this is our branding.
We've put money, time and energy and advertising this strain.
Like I did a lot of that with the blueberry muffin cut the right very o g the very first cut blueberry muffin.
Anybody would have called that.
Anybody knew about that, saw all the pictures it was in magazines, and then that got stolen and I was pissed.
But it was just like, am I gonna keep getting pissed about this when there's one hundred people making news companies every day?
Or do I just not care and just take the piss on it?
Speaker 3That's right.
Speaker 5I ended that back just he gives it fuck anymore.
Speaker 3I will say that I got offended when someone thought that the triangle joke that I grew was from I don't know, some fucking loser, and I was like, why the fuck would you think I'm gonna grow that?
Speaker 5Yeah, so someone just said thanks for the infant Brothers Graham running is Airborne G thirteen going to bed last year?
So that actually came from Duke Diamond, who was a pathological liar as well, very easy to look up, and he's on paperwork.
Yeah, wasn't Airborne G thirteen.
Duke's linked to the game.
So again, these are people who didn't have it.
One of the only things that I did work on with more than just in it Fross was the Airborne G thirteen s one s that I sent him and his son to then work in a line.
So you've had the clone.
It's been around a lot of these guys weren't there for it, and it's lost.
Well, but that is brother's Graham, that's Katso that's all these do pop back up.
Try to just oh, this was popular twenty years ago, let's stick this name on it.
Nobody all know the difference, you know, and unfortunately that is the thought process.
Speaker 3Let me change my name so that you know, people conflate it with a with an old coffee shop exactly.
Speaker 5Yeah, yeah, I mean Katsu Bluebird was an old Dutch coffee shop, so initially people were associating him with the coffee shop, and now people don't even know about the coffee shop and think he is just all of it.
Speaker 3The shame.
Yeah, guys, if you you know, a really good starting question is just, hey, do you just like continue on a name whatever you're given, even if you know it's wrong.
Speaker 5Yeah?
I mean I saw, I saw JJ New York cast question publicly, and I kept screenshots because he had a clone that was obviously not what he said it was, and his point was that, hey, it was just what it was given to me as not my father, if I'd use it.
So I mean, if you're okay with people doing that with your seeds, that's the perfect person to go to.
Or those are the kind of companies you want to go to if you just don't care anything past that.
But if you're going to be in this over years, I imagine, like if you have if you want to have a career in this, if you want to have a if you want this to be your life hobby and something that you're passionate about, I highly don't recommend doing that because five years in you're going to be regretting that.
I promise you.
Speaker 3I promise.
Looking at a stable full of shame.
Speaker 5Yeah, am I still doing an amateur night at Deja vud?
No they got rid of the three ugly ones, and of course I was number two, So yeah, no, no more stripping it.
Deja Voo wasn't G thirteen, never supposed to never be sold.
No, no, it was sold to Neville by the guy it came from.
It was never a government project, had nothing to do with any of that.
I'm still not allowed to tell the story, but maybe sitter.
Speaker 3Hopefully, Oh I got one from Alchemical Genetics, Where is the love for trademark Chad?
And will there be a fresh batch anytime soon?
Speaker 5You know, it didn't really sell people see Durban and I don't know why, but it just doesn't turn them on, which is fine.
I mean, it's very TPINLINI it was a Norclderman cut, but it's a very very perfect outdoor plant, perfect indoor plant, massive yielder tons of frost, high potency test, high in turpenolenepineline, blueberry, duke goes so good together, they're so so so good to get.
In fact, I have some blue dream I'm gonna go smoke after this, so I'm stoked for that.
But that's more like that's to me, that's more like a S.
S.
H.
Mercy blue butterpline and blueberry.
Thanks.
Speaker 1All right.
Speaker 3That is all of the questions from the discord.
Speaker 5Fucking egg and we got it done in an hour.
Speaker 3Not bad.
Speaker 5I don't remember what else we were going to cover, but I don't think that.
Once we got an hour in, I'm happy.
I'm happy with the show.
It's pretty pretty Yeah, infoheavy.
Speaker 3We got to work on old clone list material.
Well, yes, we'll get together and figure that out.
Speaker 5So for people that don't know, there were a lot of shows up, and you can go in our our you know, obviously, go to our library, look at the past videos, look under live in videos, and you can see that we've done I mean, I've been doing videos since Instagram.
I don't remember how many uars.
It's been probably seven, no, two, sixteen, Emerald Cup, it's almost ten years.
That's a long time.
So there's a lot of videos that we caught from Instagram put on YouTube, but most of those ones are gone, but you can go on there, go back through the stuff.
We have done some amazing shows, but I have taken down a lot of them because there was so much misinfo in some of them due to a co host or sometimes a guest, that it got to be where I'm going to redo them correctly with correct info.
If I don't know something, I'm just saying I don't know, as opposed to someone else chiming in and trying to rattle off fifteen minutes about not knowing.
You know, there's a The Clone List was a big one.
The Cannabible Clone List is a great show.
Could have done a lot of directions and I think it could be done way better.
So we're definitely going to be doing that.
I'm excited to do it.
You guys can ask all the questions you want while I do it.
Unless we pre record it, which maybe hopefully we can.
Speaker 3We will.
Yeah, No, we're gonna pre record it.
We'll We'll set up something slick.
Yeah, probably be a two parter so that we can like add media to it and you know.
Speaker 5So be sure to get your questions in in the discord, in the Q and A area Q and A channel if you have questions about any of the clone lists that we're going to be doing, et cetera.
Not necessarily about what specific clones.
I don't want to answer every single clone it's going to be on.
There's a lot, but if you have stuff to add or a clone you want me specifically to try to cover, if I can, I will.
This is a fascinated one.
Any influence GDP that specifically not cans as I was playing in twenty fifteen when I acquired the clone and then followed up by I heard the guy that created GDP got murdered.
That's one of those shows I've been wanting to do for fucking ages ages about what happened to Chris HIACKI, the most likely the creator of Granddaddy Purple.
But the fact is his murderer is still out there.
There are people who do not want me telling this story right now.
He's considered disappeared, but ain't.
No one doesn't know the story of what happened there, and people know who did it.
So it's one of those things where like to cover it, it almost has to be closed or you're getting close to that snitch ring, you know.
But it's one of those stories where this guy did great work in cannabis and it was it was carried on and then he disappears.
So yeah, I don't have all the I shouldn't be the one telling the story.
I'm not a part of that crew.
I'm not from that area.
But I don't know anybody who's got the balls to tell the whole story.
If you're one of those people that was good friends with Christiyaki and has the balls to tell it, hit me up.
Hit me up.
Can't hit me up on Instagram, so hit me up on Discord or email me shop at right seats dot com works, write see co at gmail dot com works either or yeah, uh ken Stes is one hundred percent not responsible for Granddaddy Purple, and there's proof of it.
There's even a video on YouTube you can go check out where ken Stes tell us the original story of GDP, and at one time I transcribed it so everybody can understand is mumblin ass.
But when you read what he's saying, it is some of the most ridiculous fucking shit you could ever read.
God, I've got to watch my f's and s's apparently, but yeah, it's horrible, horrible, horrible stuff.
Anyway, what's the scoop on the beach between Kim Dog and skunk Vya.
I've heard rumbling.
I don't know if Kim Dogs arguing with Skunk via.
Now.
I don't pay attention to anything those guys do, like not Kim Dog, Skunk va Yabby.
I don't care about something.
I'd thretting each other to sue and shit cares anyone else ran the c S I G E P S once.
No, but someone should.
Okay, first of all, someone got straight up taken out for something stupid or something they didn't deserve as not snitching.
Well, well, well, you know, is this one of those things where it's like I don't know.
Speaker 3I count I count weird charges as not being covered, but I don't know.
Speaker 5I mean, am I gonna be the one to tell the story about this dude's history And I've never met Chris.
Probably not?
Probably not.
All the info is out there.
You can go search it on the web.
It's kind of hard, but you can deep dive it find out exactly who did his names out there, but nothing's ever happened.
Do I want that dude come and knocking on my door?
Hell no, hell no.
So you know, it's gonna be one of those things that sits around and tell someone that is a good friend of Jockey's to kind of talk about it.
And I've tried hitting some up.
No one's been into it, but probably for the same reason the guy lives in the community.
Oh yeah, go check out our link tree.
Here's the link.
It's the only link we're gonna give for now.
On go check out the link tree.
It'll take you everywhere you need to go.
Speaker 3And yeah, oh man, we'll.
Speaker 5Be back soon.
Speaker 3That that took uh, that took way too long to set up.
We are holy inadequate.
Speaker 5Yeah, yeah, holy inadequate.
Hey did you ever go to the beans one during my interview with Yeah thats.
Speaker 3Were remember uh that was the rainbow siss this ones.
Speaker 5Oh that's right, that's right.
Speaker 3Wait not during not with sha But uh, I didn't win anything from the episode with Shaba that I remember.
I remember winning the rainbow siss ones when you were interviewing Smellbow.
Yes, and I did run those.
Yeah, I uh.
Speaker 5I liked it.
Speaker 3Very potent, really big yielder, super pretty like modern but yeah, uh it's set like with potency.
But the this for the if if I was a market grower, yeah, but I just didn't you know, I didn't keep it around because I have a limited space and you know, I only smoke what I grow, So I wasn't a you know, biggest fan.
Yeah.
Speaker 5I mean if if you're really in like ogkb a lot, that's some some pretty cool ship.
Is the discord easy to use?
Is it like a reddit format?
What would you say?
Screw?
Uh?
Speaker 3No, it's way easier than a reddit format.
Yeah, it's it's like a live It is a live forum essentially just boom boom boom, just a constant chat thread.
And then we have multiple sections.
We have forum uh sections where you can create your own like sub forum within that to start your own thread for we got dudes doing baking, dudes doing it for Seed like Seed runs what they're actually doing and stuff.
Yeah, I think it's it's easy.
Speaker 5I think for me, like I don't even get mad about my Instagram with all the followers getting knocked down or taken.
I don't even give any care about that anymore because we have the Discord, Like, everybody I want to talk to is mainly in the same place, right, come on YouTube and talk to people here, but pretty much everyone's in the Discord that needs to get a hold of me or I want to talk to.
So it's it's a really really good alternative for horrible places that don't support cannabis, like Instagram that'll take your account down for posting a picture with no context like or even with context, you know, like social media is hard and discord is so much better than that, And it's a good place to be able to go back revisit what you posted in a specific time and date and not worry about it getting the yank down because someone's you know.
Speaker 3Yeah, and that search function, oh fuck, that search function as gold.
Speaker 5Search function is where it's at.
Yeah, if you have a question about a breeder search function, you'll find all the ship.
Speaker 3Yeah.
I set up my own just so that like I could have a grow you know, grow like log that I can actively search in, you know, instead of just having to scroll all the way down my feed looking for you know, the right post I made or whatever.
Yep.
Speaker 5So yeah, that's uh, that's where we hang out.
That's where we're gonna be.
It's where we're gonna be after this.
I'm gonna go smoke some some stuff that pack handed me handed me in person, because there's some I mean, I think there's a Diesel Arcada train wreck in there too, which I'm really stoked to try.
So yeah, come join the discord.
You go through buy me a Coffee dot com forward slash Matthew Wrot, It'll take you there.
We have instructions even inside buy me Coffee.
If you go to my posts and you can't find the discord, there is a post showing you exactly how to link your discord to buy me a Coffee.
So don't be scared to dive in.
It's not hard.
We've waked you know, seventy plus yr old guys that are not tech savvy through it constantly, super easy.
Yeah, good, good fights tomorrow.
We got Jean Silver versus Diego Lopez fighting Nerds completely crashed last Saturday.
I thought Ruffy was gonna absolutely murk sant Denis didn't happen, and then Kyle Bora.
So I don't know how Jean Sill is gonna do tomorrow.
But I have my money on him over Lopez.
But yeah, I don't bet.
So that's just me saying that I have my money that doesn't exist on it anyway.
With that, do we got anything else?
Speaker 3Oh, there is a good question from Nathaniel right above there about s on ones.
Speaker 5Let's see last question in Matt's been listening.
Matt been listening for a month or two now.
But I'm not sure if one of s ones if I wanted to make my own flavor or bring back something old.
Is this a valid starting point?
I have heard it's a waste of time kind of It is a valid starting point, it is, absolutely, It's one of the best tools for doing stuff like this, to have it more in that direction, as opposed to shooting in a thousand different directions and you're not s oneing it and you're crossing in other genetics.
If you want something pure, go that way.
It's hard, it's not perfect, but it's doable.
So yeah, and with that, screw you got anything till You're gonna be gone next week, right maybe, but we may have your record what we do.
Speaker 3Yeah, if we record then then then I'll kind of be there next week.
If it's live, then I can't.
Speaker 5Yeah, you got it going on, so until then, we will see you guys next Friday, same Matt time, same Matt channel, and screw and maybe Chucky we can float him in like a turn to punch bowl and yeah, that's it.
Enjoy your weekend, everyone, and yeah, fights tomorrow we'll be doing a movie Sunday.
We still got to figure out what the what the Sunday Discord movie is?
Yeah, see y'all there.
Peace.
