On the bubble go well, it didn't fail miserably, just didn't produce it.

It had pollen sacks.

It did great, but it did not produce any viable pollen whatsoever.

And then the one I'm doing right now for the five hundred, it's coming along, maybe marble sized, but so far no sacks yet because I don't think it's far enough along to produce.

You should you should be seeing I mean, I don't you know obviously on that uh that particular the five hundred or the I don't know about on that plant, but you should be seeing something.

I've noticed that even like accepting pollen and stuff.

It's weird, dude, because I got a three or four tenths in different locations, and I carry that fucking reversal around and it's wild like some of the more modern are there, the more recent cuts that I've had or I've taken myself like they had no problem except in it right away, Like as soon as I I didn't have to do much work and whatever a little bit was blowing on them took care of him.

Where Its like I noticed with the legacy shit, bro, I'm having to go in there and do like I don't know why, but it's just like it doesn't seem maybe I don't have enough fan.

Yeah, So I I shared some stone date from my most recent Harvest, which is uh g G four by Happy from H and L.

Yeah, it's one that I think is really good.

It's the one that I mean, I don't know if y'all heard it before on episodes that you've definitely seen it in the server, but uh, it's the one that you know, my buddy grew and chopped, popped, and then you know everyone in the local crew out here picked that one over the other four so or the other three.

Yeah, it Uh it reminds me like I didn't smell this earlier, but now I'm smelling the appy in it, like that kind of tropical thing.

But it kind of like a brown sugary like smelled to me, bro Like I don't know about you guys, I'm not smelling so much Gigi four in this one, to be honest, Yes, more happy, I feel like that's just my take on it.

Not so mango, not mango, but.

Yeah, to me, it smells like kind of deeply boozy, like a fermented mango type of you know, like a deep like a country wine.

Yeah, it's got like that sweet and mango thing that I've been finding in quite a bit of the appy hybrids that I do do really love.

It's just it varies in between, you know, each of the hybrids and probably each of the females as well, from what I've seen for the most part, like I've seen it in a few of the original sins, and then this is is more like the sweeter side, which is really nice.

I got I will be honest, Grew tried.

A little bit of it.

I held out for a few days, and then last night I was feeling froggy, dude, and I said, I'm going to smoke some of this, and I wasn't going to tell you, but then I thought to myself, we kind of freeing, would I be?

So I'm not sure what else because the other stuff was more just like, hey, here's something to smoke, just because you know, like my garden's so small that I can only provide so much in terms of sample, so I wanted to at least give, you know, some other stuff just to be able to try and whatnot.

I couldn't believe how much as it was ground, how much that smells like peanut butter.

But there was something that was like kind of like that pea lean thing, and I really liked.

The smell of like the one I got, it was kind of like this peanut oily PISSI incense kind of thing.

Yeah, yeah, kind of like, yeah, that'd be a good way to say it.

Yeah, you know I liked Uh, I grew like eight or nine of those and I liked two of them, but the other ones, yeah, I just wann't a fan of the other ones.

That's one of those things.

I feel like I probably wish I popped more of just experience that.

That's the angle stuff, right, I mean, I feel like I don't ever do shit justice.

If I'm you know, just popping a couple of packs and somebody's like, well did you like that one, It's like, well, I only grew at one time.

I'm not the best grow in the world ever, and uh, you know, I grew like a pack and you know, in the rags, you might get lucky if you get fucking a few females, So it's not really doing a justice.

I saw in the discord one of the guys got a pack from Bitter I think it was was the doll Sa Vita maybe I can't remember which one it was in particular, but he got nine males out of there with the odd that's up the odds of that, dude.

Yeah, you know a lot of lottery ticket dude, but.

Did you get well with with that one?

There was there was a decent amount of like of losers, you know, which I think is just inherent in in the other side in the long flowering you know, stuff that's not quite work, which that one, you know, like the the band Aid haze or whatever, that's got a decent amount of work behind it, and still it had a low, uh a low hit rate, I guess for because that's specifically what I was looking for, was like longer flowering stuff.

So yeah, there's there there, I do.

I definitely did get a good selection out of it, though.

But we're here to talk about the stone Dape.

It hads a chemical end to it, but man, is it way up on that that mangoly fruit smell and taste?

Yeah, it's it's actually not even the better tasting quote unquote one from from that run at the one of its sisters had a much like deeper flavor to it that was a lot better.

But the potency on that one in particular is just amazing, So it really stood out against the rest.

I I I can't remember much about it last night when I smoked it because dude, I'll be honest, I took too many.

Uh let's well, I just did a lot of stuff last night, brother.

Uh, but we're about to try something out.

I actually rolled the fucking d to the irene uh first, so I got all the other one and so but uh yeah, man, So to me, it smells like the Appy for sure, Like I don't know, it's like not as tropical as the Appy have threes that I ran I had.

And when I say tropical, I don't know how to say that better.

Uh just kind of like this fruity kind of not super fruity like more modern shit, but just literally like island drink thing or just an island smell.

I don't know how to really describe it.

And then like with that one in particular, I didn't really get any mango on on that until the very like way like two or three months into it, just like curing and chilling the jar.

I got a little bit on it.

But when I hung out with Chanel, dude, like seeing him bring out the mango and some of the mango hay stuff, like it put it into perspective for me, like either I suck or just like my gros styles different, or he's just good at picking particular plants because he really can bring out the mango in in in that and I'd hope so because it is his plants and that's what he was shooting for, is that was his goal.

So but when I and you know, I haven't talked to my old lady all the time.

When I grow something out or somebody or if I meet up with somebody and do some trades, I say, well, you smell on this and we smell completely different, opposite ship like every time, dude, Like it's yeah, it's like what does it all mean?

Yeah, so they like looked at the pollen grains individually, like under a microscope, and male pollen is is much larger and it's all like normal, normal and round, but reversal pollen is all like medium to small and most of the time it's deformed, which is probably why there's a much lower hit rate on whether or not it'll work.

Just uh, this it's very hit or miss, Like as I said, these last couple of days, I'm really getting a lot of what I would i would think is viable because I've done a lot of tests where like I'll take some of it and apply to like a new tint that I have.

I have three different tints that are staggered.

Uh so essentially as they've come online and gotten into you know, into flowering, i been hitting them with this and within a day or two.

Some of them obviously depends on the plant and take longer, but within a few days, I'm watching them die back.

And I'm so early in the flower, like, you know, week two, week three or week well, it's probably more like we probably going closer to week four and now I guess.

Anyways, but I'm watching them die off.

And yeah, because it was the eighteenth of or eighteenth of last month, I think I flipped the tense.

Yeah, so basically somewhere around the eighteenth or before.

But anyways, yeah, I'm noticing paul and dying off where I'm actually like strategically spot you know, whether I'm using a Q tip or just taking simply taking some of the pollen and just kind of taking the sacks and just the ones where I'm seeing live pollen come out more similar to what I've seeing a regular plant.

I'm taking and actually sprinkling over the major uh you know, the major sites that I can get and uh yeah, dude, it's it's been so fun and interesting and different.

But yeah, I don't know.

They had some nice potency to them.

But I found that I do like, I get better in the hybrids a little bit more.

And I've chucks uh some with the happyf threes a little bit, and I found that I could get that kind of the ones I ran there like they were really said they weren't mango e though until like late and cure and not like H H and L stuff.

I mean when you smell H and L's grows of these.

I don't know if you guys have uh of some of these stuff, like yeah, just mango, you smell mango like right in the jar like like that.

It's kind of it's kind of trippy, dude.

I really like it, dude.

I preferred this over the stone Ape, to be honest with you, but I also really really enjoyed that Irene last year.

Man, and the butt structure was dead up like it too, uh and yeah, just nice, chunky, dense, rank potent duggs.

Yeah, I've ran quite a few hybrids now of of Irene, and they've all been pretty fucking stellar.

Yeah, I mean just like, honestly, these three that I ran last year, they were a bit you guet going, but once it flipped them, they were great, and uh, just thin could have been in a magazine type thing, you know, just that perfect look.

I don't know, I'll describe.

I think I got some pictures somewhere, but dude, they're just yeah, I didn't keep them.

Uh that's right after that my dad took a dive and was like in the hospital and all that shit.

So like, I just I didn't know how long I was gonna be gone for him, bro, So I was just like, you know, I'm just gonna cut them if I want to.

I had like three packs of the Irene, so I was like, I'll pop some more and find I'm now pretty consistent, so I don't think I could not find one I liked again, you know.

So, but yeah, the Irene's great, dude.

The I think it's a little bit more potent for me when I smoke it compared to the Stone Day just a little bit.

But I think that's because the appy dude that something I feel like the happy sometimes for some people.

It's like for me, it doesn't knock my socks off when I'll smoke it.

And but I haven't smoked Channel's or yeah, his version, you know.

So that's the thing is like he has had time with these and knows how to grow them right where I'm a bottle boy.

You guys, I think Hanel, he's all amendments and everything.

So it's this is different styles, uh, but yeah, man, uh so anything else you want to talk about the stone day, you know, what kind of grow grower might this be good for?

And also Achanelle said this is one of his better, uh you know strains for outdoors.

He said, you know, if I was gonna wreck, if he was gonna I commend doing something outdoors that he would do the stonebate.

Yeah.

So I actually threw this cut outside this year, just recently, you know, just to get a little little bush, yeah, and try and try and run it out see see how it does.

Because you know, like most people, we get you know, a pretty wet middle October, but then it clears up and gets like kind of nice till almost damn near January.

So I threw one out right now since it's really quick, and then I'm gonna throw out a couple more clones in early October to see if I can like beat the clock on the on the end of the season.

That's cool as fuck that they're fast like that, because I didn't really think about that.

I have you found a good faster flowering plant and you an environment like that where you could do that, See like you can't do the multiple seasons or runs here or where I'm from really like it gets too cold by like the into you know, November, mid November, sometimes sometimes October.

It can be clas fuck it's so hit or miss.

So it's like trying to plan around like a like that.

I've had it in years, even in Kentucky, bro, when I was down there, Like I remember going on Halloween, bro, when they was like four inches of snowback in the nineties.

A couple of times, like just random.

Sometimes it's like that, man, it's fucking crazy.

So but it's wild to me that, yeah, you guys out west, that you can pull those pull that shit off.

That's fucking cool.

It's because I'm super south, not.

It's I don't know, it's really cool.

I wasn't expecting, you know that, but I just being able to smell that, you know, and then some of the other Irene hybrids I've had, Like it's kind of a distinctive smell, like of what is coming from the Irene side.

I it kind of was confused because I ran the ds ones or the no sorry, the ninety one s ones last run, and one of them when it once it was cured and everything, and I didn't have much of it because that shit got seated real bad, so I only kept like the top nugs basically.

But it smelled so much like it was kind of weird, kind of smelled a lot like the Irene s ones that I ran, that kind of fermented, kind of winy smell, but not so much like this dude, not like the stone ape, but like the I don't know what it is that translates from from those plants that are what what brings that into those genetics.

But yeah, I really liked that, and it was really surprising to me that sometimes you run this ship, dude, and after if you run enough plants, and sometimes like if you only if you're starting off, you're not gonna notice some of the ship because you haven't ran enough to see it.

But when you get to smoke in some of these strains and do any meetups and stuff, you do see it on a bigger scale, So you notice these things and it's really interesting, man, Like, and even I know you guys are fucking autos, but even some of the ship translates some of the ship translates to fucking autos too, and yeah, shit, I don't know, I think it's pretty cool.

Well, what's funny about autos is I am currently in like an online fucking argument with someone over the stone Ape to like try and explain how it's not autos.

Rarely will you find something that's just all all the mom and no blue in there.

The only time I ever found that was in one of the the Blue Sours and then in one of the Blisterings, and it was just like super funky and both and the blue just wasn't wasn't really there.

I can agree with that because when I were in the Blue Sour, I didn't get any blue, but you could see within the structure and like the way a couple of them expressed it's like you can see it through that.

Uh shit, I mean I guess I started smoking weed in grade really and then from there, you know, just his mother drugs and then back back into weed.

But you know.

Nothing probably you know, pretty much the.

What a How at what point did you pick up growing?

Because you're you're a pretty good grower, dude, I have to say, like, at least I admire grows.

So what point did you pick up growing?

And then at what point did you get to the level of Right.

Now, So I've always you know, been around plans to help you know, my I'm all run nursery and stuff, and so I've always grown different types of things.

And then when I was eighteen, I helped, you know, kind of was like a water boy for my friend's dad, who who you know.

I kind of helped pick you know, a few things off of I think it was probably attitude or something and something.

It was like Nirvana stuff.

There's it was like snow white.

There was a few different things.

There's another like Southern lights or something whatever.

But this dude, you know, and we were like, all right, let's you know, try and grow some weed because this has been you know, headies or things like that, like good We were just starting to show up around and it was getting like, you know, really good money.

So instead of buying it, let's you know, grow our own.

And this dude just wanted to take things, you know, forty two days, cut it maybe even quicker, then try and speed dry like put it on like a hot vent or something and just trying.

He was like, oh I got bills to pay.

I'm like just like whatever, but uh yeah.

So so that's that's how that I helped a little bit with that, but you know that that wasn't like the greatest experience obviously, I don't think I would be by any standard.

Uh.

And then so then I started getting back really into growing back in twenty eighteen or twenty seventh, late twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen, and kind of been at it constantly since then.

Other than that, you know, yeah, I was just off doing other things in life and then finally got back to it.

I always really wanted to, you know, get serious into growing and make some things and and in that, but you know, just how to get my life together and back to a point where I actually could and actually focused on week because otherwise it went well and I would have just probably just why I mean, I still grow mids, but it would have just been like stuff you just don't even want to smoke.

Chasing him dab holes, you know, I don't know.

Wait, no, so what at what point did you run into Matt Or who's the first person that was kind of like that?

I guess I could say they were having podcast pat podcast on ig or YouTube.

Oh, I've been falling around Matt since like twenty eighteen when he had I think without having his lives and stuff on Instagram.

I don't know exactly when he really started, but I kind of got in there and and everything and been falling around ran some got some of like the pre pre releases of stuff and whatnot, and we're in the Blistering and a few other things.

But yeah, I've been been kind of friends with Matt since since twenty eighteen, I think, you know, it is maybe twenty twenty one or so then before we really started becoming you know, good friends and whatnot.

But yeah, I've I've been falling fall on him and and you know, and trying the bonnet stuff for a while.

Pac two you rock a lot of POC and Asian als.

Oh yeah, I grow, Yeah, I grow a good bit of H and L and Park stuff too.

I really like the Blue Dream hybrids the Sleep Disturbing so far as my best of that or my favorite of that so far, the P ninety one S two and then Santacauz Blue Dream and those you get like I got this like blue slushy with super you know, really nice potency, easy growing, high yields, super good flavor, and then H and l stuff.

It's just always I mean, I've been growing a lot of happy stuff, and then I've grown the tric Mangoes.

Uh those were awesome.

And then I started growing some of the newer releases he had with the Southern Gothic and the Breaking Haze the South Coast.

You know those those are nice.

That's the Breaking die Good.

I really want to check those out.

I saw the one pickation output.

It looked like looked pretty much just like sour but but uh not as but you know, more dense and you get that.

Yeah, the East Coast or the Breaking Diesel was great because you get in the East Coast our diesel flavor in there, and then you're also getting as that probably like four or five, four or five people are reported back to h and l uh they've tried it, and I got the luxury of trying straight straight from him when I'm up with them, and uh the uh it fucks with their equilibrium, but not in a bad way.

I'm prone to emotional sickness.

But uh but uh it fucks with you almost uh, not like you feel drunk, like you're like, oh I'm fucking drunk, but just that kind of off balance fl vibe you get from being drunk somewhere I find myself.

That kind of thing in the flavor is just really great on on that.

Yeah, I've grown the out the mission controls which were the death Star breaking Hayes, and I really like those.

I do want to look through more of those.

I wanted to get each one of you guys to say something nice about Matt and how maybe he isn't either impact or just yeah, how he has he impacted you as a grower, and we're gonna start with Abby.

But the biggest thing that I can take from Matt is just opening my eyes to the fact of knowing where to look to find the real stuff, putting this on the history of the plant, and never never letting the history get in the way of the truth, or I should say, never let an ego getting away and the truth, you know, And I've always appreciated that.

So it's funny because I like avoided I avoided Matt at first, you know, like because I remember in the like twenty eleven, twenty twelve, you know, like around there when I first had started like finding out about internet forums and shit, there was you know, that one post and I couldn't decipher who was telling the truth that, you know, like there's people just talking shit back and forth.

I didn't know shit about any of that, so I just kind of like stayed away in case.

But then I heard the podcast on Spotify and it just stuff started making sense because up to that point I had only heard the you know, like the marketing stuff that we all get tricked into in those you know like coming coming around years and just hearing you know, like He's the reason why I got on Instagram was to be able because I had caught up and I wanted to be able to hear the live shows.

Uh, and then getting in like actually getting into the server and starting to interact and all that ship we've just we've become uh like actual friends, you know, like to where he you know, like some thing major happened, uh, you know my in my life a couple of years ago, and he like called me and was you know, like trying to make sure that like I'm okay and I don't you know, make any rash decisions and shit, you know, like just looking out for me.

And in terms of growing the questioning me like pretty fucking aggressively, like right off the bat, really really like I well, like asking me why I thought things and whatnot, like trying to trying to lead me to kind of like walking me through like a rational rational questions I should have already asked myself about stuff, you know, and really helped me, like to to get that like compass on figuring out if someone's fucking off, you know, yeah, like the questions that I always you know, just kind of, oh, well, this dude's this dude's super legit, you know, like I've heard about this guy for a long time.

You know he's just he just you know, can't describe his selections at all.

That's he just doesn't want to or whatever.

You know, Like those type of ship that I just kind of you know, left alone really really helped me to figure all that ship out, and it's made my like I now grow what I want to see, you know, like I have a very very much like sorry, I'm pretty stone right now.

Uh like most like floor righte uh some quartz crystals.

Arkansas has some really nice ones.

We went to a couple of minds there went to uh, I think it was I'll be honest, I can't remember.

It's been a few years, but I want to say it's one of the Carolinas.

And we went down there in mind.

Yeah, but uh, I always when I would go with them, I knew there wouldn't be any drugs, like I said, So I'd sneak like maybe like a joint or two or blunt just to have for a few days, right to try to back I smoke it the first.

Night, you know.

But by the end I get home when I'm high as fucked been.

Then about two weeks come by and back to back to I just giving up.

I'm gonna die anyways, so fuck it.
