As far as weed stuff met, you know, everything's rocking.

Basically coming to the end of my East Coast Star, he's a little reversal experiment.

Yeah, sorting through.

I haven't got into the buds themselves.

I'm basically I got the plants drying.

I think I am gonna try to smoke like some of the Bubba a couple Anyway, long story short, I'm just kind of visually looking on what I can see and why I can and fine without ripping the buds open or anything.

And I found so far in the bubb us I found about fifteen to twenty good seeds either that'd be the Bubba cush Times East Coast or Diesel.

And then I just got done kind of not really going through but sorting and kind of going through the kim D, which so far I got about twenty of those good seeds.

The kim D to the East Coast our diesel, and I know for sure I got the shoreline to the East Coast sadly on the actual reversal plant, the East Coast Sour Diesel reversal plant.

I did find seeds, but they were all like just funky bro or like image sure, yeah, just immature.

Yeah, but I haven't checked the actual East Coast hour diesel reversal yet.

I know it sounds crazy, but I've been busy as fuck.

I'm hoping to get into it tonight.

So even if I walk away with a few seeds from that, that would be great.

So yeah, yeah, you know, I hit it to a bunch more other shit, some more modern stuff, some cuts that I've kept, like kim DS one and stuff like that, superpoof yeah, super booths all that, you know, And it seems to be the same case with them as of development.

It looking like any word from you know, ten to thirty seeds if I'm lucky.

So you know, I was doing that that reversal man, the pollen only a few I can only get a little bit of it to fly bro like maybe two or three occasions with like I'm talking like very minimum and Paula can actually.

Yeah yeah, like you know, back in the eighties, when you get a big pile of white stuff.

You know, you see it floating around and shit, well I didn't see much that was chalky, kind of like not chalky but almost like pasty bro Yes, yeah, just it.

It was a lot of work, man, But you know, walk away with twenty twenty seeds or so, I'm happy without that, to be honest with you, I'm not looks a solo marine things.

So for me.

So yeah, that's cool.

It's a good it's a good yeah, man.

So I think I'm preparing to do as I wait for the East Coast Tour Diesel, I'm gonna try one more time.

I'm gonna do more plants this time, uh and do more stagger.

And I just did it real quick off the snips that I got from my meetup, and so this time I might actually get more clones.

But I think I'm gonna try to do excuse.

Me, the uh the Kim D reversal next because I was getting a couple.

I think that'll be an easier one to do for me, So I might try that one next.

It was difficult, you guys were right, for sure.

I'm just so thankful to get any good, healthy sea season.

But it's because I, you know, like I understand the customer's perspective.

They tiger stripes are actually on the seeds and not like a thin paper layer.

So I try to be real careful with what I put out there.

But when it comes to seeds for me and when I make and stuff like that, when I pop, I always pop the.

B grade just to see B grade.

This is gonna be the worst anybody could possibly see that I would ever.

You know, right, Yeah, I just did the the way we were talking about that, and uh, I wanted did that flintstone stuff that it always happens.

It seems like the kim Ds ones, almost all the seeds come out like white gray bro not one of them.

There was a few that would mature.

But I was in here thinking like, man, these are not.

Gonna be good.

And I popped even the worst ones of that, and they all, almost all of them popped.

I was so happy, Like so it's like, yeah, I get what you're saying, though, we can't all be cs and h nails and get the most bit looking see.

Yeah, yeah, you give those to your people, yeah, your customers, and keep the yeah, the other stuff for yourself for sure.

Yeah.

I've been going through and mowing down males, which I hate doing.

Like that's one of the things I hate doing, is like finding really good males, and you know, like I'm doing the Blue Eye extroversal right, So I popped a shipload those trays and trays and now going through them and slowly seeing males start to pop out a little tiny male trades, you.

Know, a lot.

I'm like, damn it, damn it, damn it.

Something look really good, like stuff that I would normally use or be ea into using, and I'm just ripping them out, ripping them.

Out, ripping them out.

Yeah, it's hard.

It's hard to do.

It's hard to do film work when you like doing fucking regular work.

Like that.

Yeah, I can see where like, uh, I couldn't imagine like having an whold room and like doing reversal on it failing.

But you know, just you know, I got a low amount of seeds because I did a four by four worth of work, you know.

What I'm saying.

So it's like I got what I I wasn't.

I got what I wanted, So I think.

It worked good.

But yeah, like it is totally different from doing rags, dude, Like I mean, you just said it and forget it and just forget it.

You know, you're not worried about not getting seeds of thricks.

But yeah, you know, I'm thankful and I'm happy, and a lot of it is, you know, the knowledge that I picked up from you guys, and just the advice I got from you you guys.

And I think if I would have tried it, you know, on my own up without like really thinking about it, and like I said, just looking to you guys for advice and using your spray, Matt, I use your spray.

Aye, pick up some of the match versal spray if you want it to work.

I saw another content creator.

I'm not going to shoot on somebody.

But they made how to reversal video and didn't even get seeds from it.

So I'm to say, you know, their spray they chose to use, they bragged about it was great, but I didn't see the seeds at the end process.

I need someone to do the sales, the shipping and all that.

I mean other personally has to do the shipping and stuff and make all the seeds blah blah blah.

Well, the person that he was doing this with has decided to keep Kingdomorganicseeds dot Com on the website.

And take his company.

So yeah, that's where it's at right now.

We're trying to figure out someone to get him to be able to to be able to be a full time web developer and to take over that job.

But it has to be someone that some of us no in trust, just because you dealt with this a few times over the years that have known him and it's not Yeah, so yeah, it sucks.

People will do this all the time and it's just how it goes.

I've had to happen.

And then you have to try to dust yourself off.

And then you know, like you lose all the seeds that you gave to someone to ship.

I was always confused why he he didn't have any.

Info about Piff and he was kind of a little young can know anything about Piff and was asking me about Piff when he had the main breeder pists.

And of course I feel some way, some weird emotional way about Piff being the first person released piff stuff and to be given the actual backstory on it.

Back when I was and I didn't know anything about it, I undervalued what I had.

Everybody, my name is Lance di Maria.

Most of you know me as Piff.

I've never really said my name out loud to the community before, but I feel like it's time.

I want to tell you my story, the truth about where I came from, some of the mistakes I've made, and how I got here today.

This was me, just a kid with a weed plant.

I wasn't trying to be a criminal.

I was just doing what I loved.

But back then, cannabis wasn't respected, it was criminalized.

But for me, it was my passion ever since I found cannabis at eleven years old.

It gave me a purpose and a way to take care of myself.

Coming from a troubled home.

I kept growing, from PC boxes to a part of my closet and content anywhere I could stick a plan.

And as I got older, I ended up meeting my boy Brian, and me and Brian started running a grow together in the woods.

We'd hike in what are the plants?

Check on them, and dream about the future.

That ai We were on cannabis forums, learning, buying seeds online, harvesting our crops.

We even went to the Cannabis Cup in Seattle, the first year ever went legal in the US.

We had some of the best lead around and we weren't hurting anybody.

We were just chasing after something that we love.

But then the police were tipped off by a county worker who found our plants.

They set up trail cameras in the woods.

They caught us on film throwing the plants into my truck.

We even found one of the cameras one day, but by that time it had already been too late.

One of these cameras caught my license plates, and that's how they ended up coming for me.

One day, I was driving home with my family after taking the kids out for food.

The police lights came on.

We were pulled over, surrounded, and the detectives swarmed us.

They pulled us all out of the car, sat me on the curb, handcuffany and walked my pregnant fy and Say and the kids back up to my house.

She let them in, She showed them my plants, gave them the money, told them who I was with and what I was doing, and evidence for the charger as an accessory.

Then they came to me and said, your girl already told us everything.

If you don't cooperate and tell us about your buddy Brian, then she's going down too.

Neither of you will have your kids.

Dafists will take them and she will give birth in jail.

Twenty fours mind you.

So I'm sitting there on the curb, handcuffed, my girls, in tears, screaming, begging me just tell them.

My kids were being held by strangers in the driveway, and people were talking about foster care.

I was young, I was broke, starting a new job the next day.

The cops had just taken every dollar I saved.

I didn't have a lawyer, I didn't have family to put money me up to bail me out.

I didn't understand how the law worked back then, and I let the police make me believe that I only had one choice.

And that's what the police do.

They corner you, use your family against you, and break you down.

That's how they make you flip.

Under the most pressure I ever felt in my life, I caved and I told them I would cooperate just so they would let my girl and my kids go home.

They took me to the police station.

That's where I was interrogated, and I gave them all the information regarding everything I was doing with Brian and our operation.

At the time.

This was my first adult offense.

Even though I had been in trouble before as a juvenile, that didn't count towards my adult bring it up.

Brian was a bit older than me.

He'd been in and out of jail at the time.

He had about twenty three felonies on his record and three active warrants for unrelated charges.

We weren't just looking at him.

They were looking to bury him, and they did.

Brian went away while he was locked up.

I put some money on his books, wrote him letters.

Yeah, I'll apologize.

I did everything I could to hold him.

Down during the bid.

When he came home, I drove him to some of his meetings.

I gave him some money cigarettes.

I even put him onto the new hustle I was doing at the time, which was making cards.

But shortly after that me and him went our separate ways.

My girl didn't really want me to hang around him anymore, and he carried some resentment towards me.

I think he really did try to forgive me, but I just took away two years of his life, so that's not something he can just shake off.

No.

Eventually he just stopped answering.

Underneath it all good.

I carried the guilt and shame for years.

I lost a brother that day.

Brian was my best friend and the only person that I could share my craft with.

Back when it was that illegal, you didn't just go around telling anyone about your plants or that you were even a grower.

And I need to be honest.

I lied to the community about it for a long time.

Bro.

I was scared.

I was ashamed.

I didn't know how to open up without losing everything that I just built.

I thought if I worked harder, build more, and give back to the culture, that maybe eventually it would just go away.

But when the paperwork dropped.

I want to know, Like people say that all the time, I'm giving back to the culture.

I was young, stubborn, and I thought I knew it all.

I miss having you as a friend, and I still laugh.
