[SPEAKER_07]: And the team as well, it didn't seem to be an issue for either either the fans or the team, at least watching on TV.

[SPEAKER_04]: No, I, you know, I thought, and I even texted you guys during the game, I thought for if you consider the opponent and you consider an 11 a.m.

[SPEAKER_04]: kickoff, I was really proud of Oscar Nation today, like the, the vibes felt good, everyone was excited.

[SPEAKER_04]: There were you could do that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like everyone just felt like they're just happy to be at the stadium.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know, morning, morning, morning, morning, morning.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know, I mean, maybe Jeff, maybe, but you know, it's like, I also, it's like, hey, do I need to get up?

[SPEAKER_04]: This sounds crazy to maybe to some people, but it is it's a real thing people like to drink beer at 9 o'clock in the morning when there's an 11th game kick off.

[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry, but when you can just get one when you get into the stadium To me, there's no rush like we didn't even tailgate we didn't do anything we just went straight down went to the game saw the warm-ups, you know, my dad took two my two girls I was with a younger son and it's just a fun day to be at the stadium [SPEAKER_04]: And you know, we're in red pants for the first time since 1986.

[SPEAKER_04]: So that was kind of interesting.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was cool at first and then I kind of got at what I wanted to see that you know, the truth.

[SPEAKER_07]: Somebody, somebody posted a picture on Twitter, 86 seemed off to me and somebody posted a picture of a more recent Illinois game, where we were in all reds.

[SPEAKER_07]: So I think like many things about that broadcast.

[SPEAKER_07]: I think the aphlectrivia question might have even been wrong.

[SPEAKER_04]: Really so there's but there's been one since 86 there that we that you know people aren't talking I should have saved the tweet.

[SPEAKER_07]: I should have said if the tweet.

[SPEAKER_07]: I'm pretty sure We'll find it.

[SPEAKER_07]: We'll find it eventually One now because we didn't win any 86.

[SPEAKER_04]: We lost to the sooner's Keith the tight-end Keith Jax not the broadcast or sooner magic gag But it was it was it was the thing I thought made it even more interesting and I tweeted this out [SPEAKER_04]: you know for years you could you could mess with the pant the jersey pant combos in the cultural video game.

[SPEAKER_04]: So you know you used to be like you could do red jerseys red pants and then you could even throw red red tape on the shoes.

[SPEAKER_04]: Some guys actually had that.

[SPEAKER_04]: There was I was kind of kind of interesting kind of kind of fun to see either red sheet red cleats or red tape around the shoes with all the all red.

[SPEAKER_04]: So the really was really wasn't red out, guys.

[SPEAKER_07]: And one of them did, and then went on to be like, oh, no, that's the opposite side of single 10.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean, that's going to be the nature of the beast and modern day college football.

[SPEAKER_07]: Hopefully, they're able to lay out a vision for him where, especially if they can preserve his red shirt, you basically got to hang around, you know, a lot of people would suggest maybe only one more year of Dylan.

[SPEAKER_07]: because if Dylan has a, you know, a good, you know, we're getting way ahead of ourselves, but it has, it has been suggested.

[SPEAKER_07]: Latif could, as a, let's see, so as a, as a, as a red shirt sophomore, take basically take over the reigns of the program.

[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, so they only had I mean they had 93 rushing yards they only had 160 total yards I actually would have guessed they had they would have a few more rushing yards in that, but I guess we got they had some really painful plays Really bad like sacks and losses at the yards and whatever else bad snaps whatever The other thing that's interesting about Rax Guthrie guys is he's from Lulton, Colorado [SPEAKER_07]: So you would think the hometown buffaloes maybe would have nabbed him up, but they were too busy doing their transfer portal shenanigans.

[SPEAKER_04]: Where you kind of know their tendencies a little bit more and you know what their game you kind of know what their game plans a little bit more It's not an opponent that, you know, you don't face every year or every other year every three years You know when somebody's gonna line up and just run it right at you and you're ready for it and you're playing run that's a different Anim then when you're then when they're spread out and some guy runs this way and the old defense over pursues and then makes a cutback like it's a whole different thing [SPEAKER_04]: So we haven't really seen our defense line up, like man to man, three yards in the cloud it has big 10 style football.

[SPEAKER_04]: We haven't seen him have a chance to do that really.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like we all the runs that we've had to face have really been out of kind of more spread formation type of thing.

[SPEAKER_07]: But Rush defense, particularly teams with rushing quarterbacks, Michigan and Michigan States, the state both have quarterbacks who can run, now they're going to put that some unique challenges.

[SPEAKER_07]: Again, like vibes are sky high right now, and I'm buying into that completely.

[SPEAKER_07]: I'm ready to go to the play.

[SPEAKER_07]: I'm ready to book my tickets to the playoff game.

[SPEAKER_07]: But recent history would suggest Michigan, Michigan State, even Maryland, Minnesota.

[SPEAKER_07]: These are all going to be close games.

[SPEAKER_07]: And so, you know, we're not going to play teams that are going to give us, you know, gifts on 3rd and 6 where they snap it over the quarterbacks head or where they drop passes or whatever.

[SPEAKER_07]: And so we're going to have to button some things up.

[SPEAKER_07]: So [SPEAKER_07]: I think the past defense has been really strong.

[SPEAKER_07]: Now, third game in a row, we give up fewer than 100 yards passing.

[SPEAKER_07]: And so I just, you know, that front seven, a lot of young guys, look, I'm not saying they're not talented.

[SPEAKER_04]: We can't do that, you know, TJ's talking about going getting into the meat of the schedule and playing certain conference play, that we can't, especially can't do that against the big boys and the Michigan's and the USC's and the Penn States and the, you know, the rest of them.

[SPEAKER_04]: Otherwise, you know, I'm pretty happy with just about everything.

[SPEAKER_07]: And so I wonder if [SPEAKER_07]: Akron Houston Christian, we're sort of letting other guys have a chance, but it seems obvious to me that at this point you would just let Cunanon be your kickoff guy as well, in addition, he's he's a hundred percent on field goal and extra point attempts on the year.
