I was like, I the mall.

That didn't really help them.

Malls are pretty sad these days, just walking around the mall.

Yeah, And it was like, man, there's like ten thousand things for sale here and I don't want anything.

What's wrong with me?

Oh no, that's just I think it's a sign of depression if you don't want any Yeah.

Yeah, but uh, you know I did that helped.

I was driving back, it was like, you know, I'll go get a hair cut.

I haven't had somebody else cut my hair in a while, so I just went to a freaking sports clip.

And did they did you have them do your beard or anything.

Yeah, I was getting a little scuzzy down there, so they trim that up fit me up there.

You know, obviously it's not a ton of work for them.

I didn't even like, I don't think I got the whole thing, but like I got the massage and whatnot, and like, usually that kind of makes me uncomfortable, and it still did, but also was kind of nice, right.

You gotta get it, get the give and take there, Like, yeah, it's not the best, but also it's nice, I know what you mean.

Yeah, so I don't know, just getting uh yeah, it's funny because like I was in their database, like, well it's been a while, and I was like, yeah, but like eight years, like yes, exactly eight years, and that's what I thought.

That's about what I think.

I just went permanently balds were got.

It almost sounds like you were having an anniversary for the death of your hair a little bit, like you knew eight years exactly.

You're like, I'll shut up for this, right, but yeah, it's a little ch I was like, I was like at the mall, desperately looking for a way to treat myself, Like I don't want any of this garden.

Right, Yeah, it's like I don't.

I definitely don't need more stuff in this moment, that's for sure.

I did get just like some replica of the Kiki's delivery service sign that they put on the bread shop in the movie, So I have that on my door.

That's the one thing I got.

Yeah, I like that.

There's like there are four stores in the mall now that are that sell Japanese goods basically.

I mean it's it's very popular, right, and like that's something like people don't necessarily go out and seek to buy that stuff online, or if they do, like that's a certain audience, but there's probably quite a few people who watch anime now on like Netflix and don't realize that they can import a lot of these things, and so just having a store like specialized in that scene, I mean, you know, I definitely have seen that stuff, and it's very popular in some most but mostly in like Japan towns and stuff like that.

But I'm not surprised to hear that they are spreading.

But that's you know, forst quite a bit for your guys' moment.

Yeah, and like you know, had the three I'm like, that's you thing, and the third one was fye, the old CD store came back and it's really more about like Japanese snacks and goods and merchandise.

I was like, okay then, like but this time there was just a new one that was very like, oh, it's just like Japanese toys and snacks, Like okay, it's interesting.

I went in there and everything.

But yeah, yeah, our mall has extra problems.

They haven't been paying their mall taxes, which are property taxes the case you're wondering.

So we're all like, well that thing like closed out in any moment.

So yeah, just walking around there being like I remember when I liked this, Yeah.

Right, I mean I still really find the idea of a mall at Christmas time to be romantic.

Yes, any other time is a little.

Uh, it's always kind of scussy at this plant.

You always walk in and the food court is mostly like.

Empty slots and like one to borrow.

Maybe it's it's a bummer, it's it stinks.

I get the impulse though, trying to like change things up and find some respite anywhere, any like looking for it at any place.

Hopefully you can find something equivalent to a haircut tomorrow, because I feel like.

We might need more of these going forward.

I don't know.

Yeah, I need some stuff.

I don't know.

Maybe i'll I'll actually get a real massage for once, and I don't know.

That still sounds like too much.

I'm indulging in weird and getting touched.

Decadent, the fall room sort of stuff.

I don't know.

It's like, look, if you've gone this far without a massage, it's just hard to Like.

Yeah, it's like, I don't know, I don't know no one, no one touches me that way, but you know certain people, and.

It's like, I think when you buy the box, it comes with things like in coming characters from these franchises coming later, and one of them is the Mega Man logo, the kind of classic Mega Man logo.

I don't remember any of this because I just saw Mega Man and I was like, Yeah, there we go.

And it's like not just you know, coming to this game, but coming to a really good game.

Apparently that eighty four on Open Credit.

You definitely won the Metacritic guessing game from that one, because I definitely went in the seventies being liked those games, always getting the seventies forgetting It's all stars did not.

Yeah, new racers, vehicles and tracks from these things, Minecraft, Bunchbros.

Square Pants, Pac Man, Mega Man, Teenage with the Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem.

So those versions of the Turtles specifically have a tar the cartoon right the Airbender.

Yeah, uh so yeah those things so uh gosh.

Mega Man, oh suck.

It's just like classic ass looking Mega Man and it's a car.

Oh we're so when did you let them do it?

Just let them finish?

When you are out at the mall and getting your haircut, when did you discover this and did your mood perk up noticeably?

It was it was like a little something, I'll take it.

Us, do you think they're gonna use the fucked up pac Man?

It looks like a dude, or they're gonna use it'll be classic pack.

FC reviews also came in, like ninety one and open critic.

I know that you have already played this game in like the last handful of years, last few years.

I want to say that, honestly, it's not a great excuse I have.

Well okay, yeah, but it's like you know, there are a lot of games.

But reviews sound really good.

Honestly, though, I still think that this was like the one where someone like you when people ask you about this could be like, hey, where do I start with trails in the sky?

Now you can point at this one being like, well, obviously just go play this.

Yeah, I definitely need to check it out because I do.

I like that original version.

Yeah, A lot people seem very high on this remake.

Again, I was.

I was thrown off by a trailer.

Whatever, I can get over it.

Who would Who would judge a game harshly based off a trailer?

I've been getting mad at people's dumb comments about the Metroy Prime for trailer.

Because I was yelling at people complaining about the desert, w y not this comment.

I think you're gonna like this one, Jeff, Okay, come on, you have to admit that wide shot of the desert was some Gen seven ass looking stuff.

Why come on, He's like, look, I don't want to be mad too.

I mean, listen, I'm already mad.

I'm already mad at the same stuff you're mad at.

Okay, I have to do it this way.

So according to EA, we're on Gen five right now, so that means JEN one for them was PlayStation one, which I think is the other versions Gen four.

Now that's Gen five, so that then that we could be GameCube next, and then after the Xbox three sixty Xbox three sixty generation?

Better should deserts look than the deserts for the Xbox.

It's I mean, it is, I don't.

I mean, it's people not understanding what the game even is.

It is like so many people complaining about this aren't have to be people who have never played any Metroid Prime game, because.

Because it's barely anyone played them.

That's the reality.

And then they stop into the room loud like a bunch of assholes, like, ah, I know what this should be, and you just sound like fucking idiots.

I hate it.

I know it's just I know part of it sis the internets.

Theer's a million of voices.

But remember the last year it was like, well, it's just like Metroit Prime again, what's the new thing.

It's like, here's an open area to explore.

Now those people are like, I don't want an open world Metroid.

Well, they didn't say it's going to be that.

Yeah, to get mad about what things?

ZIP don't clearly have no faith in this because they're barely advertising shoe to Trump.

What west are they supposed to do?

It was the one more thing in a direct not that long agoing.

No, you don't remember things that didn't happen in the last week, but keep bringing this game up.

I know it's like getting two directs like Kirby Air Riders.

I don't think it's because they think that game's gonna sell ten million copies right then.

That one seems more like a favorite Sakaraza.

It's more like, look, we'll let you have his main drugs as what if it makes you happy?

Yeah, I mean I don't.

Get seven looking ass ship made.

This game's ugly.

It looks like that seventh gen, not like, yeah, eighth gen right now, the real shit.

When the eighth Gen happened, that's when we really popped off.

I was so excited when I saw that call, was like, oh, I can now you get Jeff Jets as bad as me.

I can really bring him down with me here.

Because I was like, I was like, I'm I am just as mad.

But it's like I try to let it go.

And I was very happy when you popped off.

It was very entertaining because everything you said I agreed with, and I'm like, A, right, he's done the job here.

I don't have to say anything, and then you had to bring me this shit.

And I want to be clear because like I know, I think goodbye gaming something did a specific video.

I'm not crapping on anybody specifically, and it's not really right everyone right, I don't even know who it was in said I'll go like Mike trying to beef with you.

I don't, I don't.

I don't know what was even said over there.

Really right, this is all mostly in jest, and it's just like the annoying cycle of games getting announced and then sometimes taking too.

Long, and then all this stuff always happening, and.

Like it is frustrating just because people have to imagine a version of the game to get mad at you have not played it yet.

And I understand we do that all the time, so we're just as guilty as anybody, but it's just annoying in this case for some reason, in particular, mostly again because I know the vast majority of people.

Talking have not actually played these games.

All right, so.

Song, Soilk Song has been sewing well, right.

Four point two million copies.

That's like a guesstimation from uh, the the game Discover code newsletter, which is like run by an old games journalist who's been around for a long time and this is kind of his beat now, is hey helping developers understand game discovery?

Anybody tracked this stuff and did his best to kind of estimate where it's at.

I think there was another story that said it's already surpassed a third of the sales of the first.

One, so that would put it about five million already, in which I.

Think it's probably been on sale a zillion times or whatnot.

Yes like, And it also had its highest peak concurrent players in the week before Silk Song came out, so it was selling super well up to the last minute there.

Either way, this game is a massive success.

It really is as big as everyone said it.

Was going to be.

It is like funny too when you think about yeah, like no Metro game has sold much more than three million copies, though Castlevania game has ever sold two million copies.

Now, I don't like despair It as much.

I don't think every game needs to sell five or ten million copies to be a giant hit.

It's kind of funny watching a lot of like PlayStation two retrospect as, even Jeff like I do, and they're always like this game sold eight hundred time copies, which.

Was considered a huge success.

I think sometimes we get a little bit blanked by how you know, these giant games that do sell ten has grown.

So that yeah, that eight hundred thousand number, you know, do like through inflation or whatever how you ever want to phrase it would be a little bit higher now, but you're right, it probably is around two million ish.

So yeah, all these games are are doing mostly just fine.

You know.

We at the same time we understand these companies lose their appetites for things that are not home runs or Grand Slams.

So it's like always worriosome, but you know, right making Metrod games, Yeah, exactly.

You know, metro is a series that on the Switch one we did get, you know, the remake of one and a brand new two dy one, and then they're making for the entire time.

So yeah, I think the title understands the value of Metroids.

I don't get worried about it in that sense.

I think the one thing with Metroid that is like has caused this to keep coming up as a conversation piece this the sales of Metroid specifically, is we were kind of waiting for Metroid Prime for the entirety of the Switch one, and every other Nintendo franchise got the Switch bump for the most part.

Luigi's Mansion is one we always bring up and stuff like that, but there's a lot of other examples of games that did way better on Switch than they had ever done before.

And I mean, honestly, it's Zelda and an Animal crossing all these games like huge numbers compared to what they've ever done before, and it's like, Okay, well, can Metroid replicate that or will it even or is it the one that can maintain its niche audience despite the switch being super popular.

Yeah, and that's like there's still questions around that because Metro Bread Metroid Bread, METROI Dread came out and was still just kind of in that three million zone now, which was a big.

Jump I imagine from Samus returns.

Right, that's absolutely right, yep, and a very popular console the three DS one where in that game was Samu's Return is much more affordable in the three DS than the sixty dollars price for Dread.

So I think, you know, as we like talk it out, as you bring up salient points like that, it's easy to be like, you know, what this much Prime for is probably gonna do just fine, and if it's a good game, there is a strong chance to see that switch bump out any time though.

Silk Song doing really well.

Right an you know, now Metroprime remastered, which you know it's a remaster, I guess, but remaster what best games ever?

They sold it at a budget price of forty dollars, and you know, it did like one point three six million the last time they gave numbers, So it's a little weird to me.

So, but I don't know, maybe maybe all the reactions is true, like maybe a lot of people just don't get Metroid more than I thought, but they seem to get soak Song and you know a lot of them Bristol and complain about it's difficulty and things like that.

So that is I guess that you know, something comes up and I've been loving Silksong, but it is like, man, for some reason, this is the one that is attracting a bigger audience than again the.

The Metroids and venas of the equation there yeap Skate two million players.

It's free to play.

A lot of people were always going to try this game out, but you know, it's better to have the players than not have the players.

I I think my assessment so far of I've played it a little bit like ninety minutes, I think, but also just kind of like keeping the ear to the ground seeing what people are saying to me.

It seems like no one is complaining about the skating, and that's like if there was a problem.

With the core gameplay, you would be hearing about it.

Everyone does have issues with like there'sday open world that doesn't feel like it has a ton to do.

The game's in early access, so it's not that's not too.

I guess it's it's it's a desert.

Yeah, it's terrible for skateboards.

What a bad idea.

You see Samus walk by, she looks like there's nothing to do here.

And then the other thing was, oh the micro transactions, but free to play game.

Yeah, it's gonna have micro Transah, it's all cosmetics.

Yeah.

Actually played for like an hour before we went live, just to kind of get my bearings, you know, may we'll talk about it more.

Labatees having fun.

Me too, I saw much.

I was enjoying it.

I think there's something there.

And so it's like now they can go into early access.

It's a free to play game.

People just go try it and they can get that feedback and really just kind of building the direction that the audience sort of takes them.

I think if it gets prox chat, this game will off.

I think this game will be go Bit in their day one right Yeah really yeah, really should have been.

But we'll see.

And then Sony hosts Stay of Play next week, claims Insiders this is in line with I've continued to hear there is one this month, basically, but what will contain you know, it's still up in the air a little bit in terms of what I've heard, but people are pretty certain it's gonna have Wolverine.

Uh, what are you expecting from the state of play?

Wolverine for sure, one final sales pitch probably for Ghost of Jota, which is coming out pretty soon, right, So there's that, and then you know, I bet third party stuff will see maybe a bit more of Resident Evil things like that.

Still do some character reveals for to con the Marvel Fighting game, because that's them.

But yeah, I don't know, nothing crazy, you know, don't get your expectations too high for one of these things exactly.

I'm I'm with you.

What's that Christians?

Maybe that bunch of thing that they spun off the them.

The mobile one Gummy Bears.

Yeah, I mean, I don't know if they show that off at a state of play, right, because that that's harrowing, that could be dangerous, That could be a blizzard situation you want to be like, especially when people aren't sure what's going on with Bungee.

But I mean you're right, at the same time, maybe they aren't thinking about that or carrying.

We probably do hear about Marathon.

There are a handful of games that they have to like sort of get out of the way before they could talk about other things.

That's Marathon.

It is this God of War spinoff game that was supposed to come out this year got delayed internally to next year.

There is fair Games, Fair Games.

I don't know Fair Games pops off here because that's one that like still feels like it could get canceled at any minute.

But Sorrows, No, it's okay.

Sorrows is the other one that it needed to need to kind of talk about a little bit.

That's the are the housemark follow up to Returnal that has Rahu Kohli in it?

Is that ringing a bell?

They closed the last either state of play.

Or yeah, if in the last one, okay, if it's in the last one, thanks Christian, I don't maybe it's not actually going to be in this one, then maybe they could talk about that early next year or something.

The what was it was?

You know, it was a showcase, the last in one of the big ones.

They have a short they have been had a showcase in like two years.

Yeah, oh right, right, was one of the biggest one that they close with that game?

Yeah, it was.

It was recently though, Yes, Sorrows I think it's sorrows.

So, yeah, once they get that stuff out of the way, though, uh, then they you know, And I mean like in this state of play, they could easily end with a little tease of Wolverine or something big for Wolverine, and then maybe there's a tease for the Sony Santa Monica game.

This could be a big state of play.

I don't want to like over promise because I just don't know there is ever recent thing that they might want to be Like, let's focus on those games that we have to get out of the way first before we even talk about Wolverine.

But I think if they have a Wolverine asset ready to go, they'll drop it.

Here's there's probably actually thinks it might be wild to not show these a little bit of Wolverine at this point.

I mean next year, right, people kind of need to hear a little bit about that thing them, right, and.

You kind of want people to have those good feelings going into the holiday where we'll pick up goc Ota, we'll get the PlayStation five for that this holiday, and we'll have it for Wolverine next year.

It's like it's a compelling story.

I think.

So we'll see for a grand theft autumn one of those points you think they could get a grand theft auto trailer for last?

Have they had great?

They've had great ato that's shown up.

I think they're just doing their own ship right.

I mean, they always do their own ship right.

But it's like, like, have they even mentioned it one of these things?

I don't know.

Probably not, I don't know.

I don't think so.

Uh, Okay, there's probably a lot of stuff that you other people want to talk about.

I still believe I.

You know, I'm not never someone to pay much attention to DLC.

I think I vaguely remember this coming up at some point, but I never paid attention to it.

So I don't know, but that game would be fine to get some DLC.

Just put some a couple more levels in there and that'd be an all right time.

I would probably show up for it.

I like that game a whole bunch.

It just doesn't try to be anything more than what it is, just a roller coaster ride.

People should check that out.

I think it runs really well on the switch too.

It's one of those games I tested out early on with the switch to and it was pretty good.

Simon from Saskatchewan says, if you play the CDI games on Blake Club, is there a way to get the insane controllers to work?

I've read there's a there a big reason for the game's shittiness.

You have that one from Limited to Run, right, Yeah?

I have the one from Limited Run, the USB version that's usually like right over here.

I could probably find it here in a second.

I mean i'd work with an emulator.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, because I don't know what else are I don't know what the feasibility of getting a shoot CDI and then chipping it around to each of us.

Maybe yeah, I would emulate.

I'm kind of the opinion like, yeah, that's that statement that you built in like two thousand is completely fine.

I think this is kind of a waste.

I get it that there's no dome on that stadium.

Well you should have put a dome then, and now you gotta live with that, I guess, so don't I don't.

I don't like the idea of taking things away from downtown.

I think it's bad for downtown.

I think it's important to have downtown have stuff and have events.

There and all that.

So I don't know, Like what the show looks nice, I suppose, but.

Yeah, and it was clearly just they picked when they had the SimCity option to select the stadium for their city, and they're like, well, we could save you know, five hundred thousand dollars.

We don't have a dome.

A twenty five year old stadium should not be being replaced already.

That is crazy, right, And we were there for Summer Slam last year.

Yeah, I canceled mine last night for Disney Plus as well.

So I'm kind of navigating personally because you know, I've associated with Disney in a lot, so I like, I get a little bit that's like, people like, what's Mike gonna say or do about it?

And I'm like, I mean, I mean if he's like yeah, I get people's impulse there, but if they think about it for a couple more.

Seconds, which I bet a lot of people do, which is why most people.

Don't bother you about it.

It is sort of a good warm up exercise.

I think for one of these kinds of games.

So, yeah, I like Roge puts pressure.

I recommend it.

Yeah, I think it's would probably help to sharpen up your platforming skills, specifically for the games so Celeste or Super Meat Boy.

There's a lot of similarities and sort of like those games are actually way harder for for moving around a characters.

So if you can like play a couple of levels there against into some of the hard stuff, you'll be more than ready for Silk Song.

Our topic for this week is our Game of the years is so far, at least the contenders.

I'm not going to ask you to put anything in order, Mike, I'm not going to ask you.

If you have something, I'm not going to stop you from sharing.

But you don't have to overthink this.

Let's just talk about the games, because there's enough of them that that'll take up this time.

And then I did make a list of games yet to come this year that like at least could be something like I want to play, and many of them will be potentially also Game of the Year contenders.

I we could start with you, though, do you have like a couple you want to throw out?

There was like obvious ones to get.

Out of the way.

How are you feeling a question?

Yeah, cause when Destraining two came out, you know, I've seemed like everybody around me, especially I want to drop bonm was like really hot on it.

I was like, okay, I'm going to try this one at some point what we talked about it, but I kind of got the impression that you and Jan sort of dropped off it.

I don't know if it was because you weren't enjoying it or stuff got busy, but do you think that's still something I absolutely need to try?

So I didn't really play much of it at all because I can't remember what else was happening at the time.

But there was another game that like I went to go play.

I think I can't remember.

I think I ended up playing Clear Obscure and it was like I knew Dan was like kind of covering death Straining, so I was.

Like, I'll get to it here pretty soon.

There are people that seem to love death Stranding too.

I know, Brad over at a God, I'm thinking I just went remap kind of funny in my head.

Nex Lander, I know all the other names filtered into my head first.

It was really annoying over at next Lander.

He's been playing a NonStop.

He really likes it.

I hear people mostly talk about really enjoying the gameplay loop that he really got it right here, and like even in chat on try to Wolf is saying the story was disappointing.

I don't know, it seems like a really well made video game.

I don't know if it should be one that you need to play for game of the Year.

But I also am not like advising against it either.

Yeah, I should probably still at least try it, so maybe I'll do that.

Yeah, Like in terms of big ones, you know, actually want to start with the first one I played this year that I was like, this is a game of yer contender, and that was Blueprints.

It seems like, yeah, maybe it seems like I game talked about quite as much right now, but I still absolutely adore that game.

It has such a good play there.

And once again has a higher Open critic than Silk Song, just barely like they're the same number, but if you go to Open Critic they rank it higher.

I think that's right.

Maybe it was Metacritic actually where that's true.

I can't remember where I was looking, but yeah, it's it's like, yeah, that game still reviewed really well.

Blueprints will certainly be on my top ten, very very likely will be in my top five.

I like that game a lot, but it's not the guaranteed number one that it was when I was originally playing it.

There have been so many other fantastic games.

Right absolutely, And gosh, I think I guess that's where Clear of Scuit comes in, because that came out and it was, you know, a game I was feeling pretty good about.

It was showing pretty well at that Xbox show.

I think it was with like a neat turn based RPG and it kind of came amount of surprise everybody by just how good and interesting it is.

You know, I think like, independent of what awards it wiz and almost it does feel like the game of the year right in a lot of ways, and it probably will be awarded as such by a lot of outlets, and itcessarily is one I liked a ton and have thought about a lot since then.

So yeah, definitely going to be very high on my list.

Yeah, I think it's.

You're You're right, the game of the year in terms of if you need a game to define this year, it's that.

And then I do think it's the game that in a handful of years we'd be looking back and being like, oh, they were clearly inspired by Clear Obscure Expedition thirty three, and that's fantastic.

I'm looking forward to that.

That like we could do with a lot more of games that are inspired by something like this.

Yeah, I think, like recently I'm like, Okay, how where am I at with Donkey Kong Bonanza.

I still think that's in my top three that Like, I know, I know a lot of people are like cooling off on it, A lot of people are still very hot on it.

I think person it's like I just sort of turned my brain off and let the game like it's the game sort of just does like guides you naturally without like forcing you in any direction, and then you start punching and suddenly you're at the end of that game, and it's I don't know, it was just such a sublime experience.

And for me, it's like a lot of times I do come to games specifically to get that feeling, and that game delivered it over and over again until I got to the end.

Yeah, certainly, certainly still in my top five, maybe top three.

I liked that game an absolute ton.

I have some minor gripes.

I think the tuning of the bosses is just was just bizarrely yep.

I was frustrated by that or annoyed by that.

I should say, Yeah, the.

Post Gameself was good.

It wasn't as good as Mario Otissey's post game.

That's not much of a complaint, right, but maybe that's where my expectations were for that.

But boy, it was fun.

There was some need surprise in the game.

I think just the core mechanics of all the digging and all the stuff that you did with that and the platforming and the climbing and the chunk jumping all felt fantastic.

It's kind of It's got a really good culmination too.

It's got a really good climax.

Uh worth worth like playing just for that in a.

Lot of ways.

All Right, So we talked about these, Mike, did you ever touch Kingdom Come and Deliverance too?

No, don't make me.

I no, I'm not.

I'm not gonna thank you.

I just like that is everybody.

I don't wanna.

That's like a like right after a lot of the top contenders again on like would you look at these lists of like metacritics sorted by ranking this year sort of but rating it's right there.

I think it's like a ninety or an eighty nine or something like that.

It's really close to the nineties.

I played a few hours of it and I did not like it was not like the first one where I'm like, Okay.

I get it, but I'm not really actually enjoying it all that much.

It's kind of by the numbers.

This one.

There's a lot more going on.

It's it does feel like a living world.

I know some I heard someone was telling me an anecdote I can't remember who it was about, how they played it as like a shopkeeper or a potion maker the whole time.

It might have been dam m, i've been bunk.

I can't remember someone that played that game some way from Actually yeah, and like I love hearing that.

That sounds like a very cool concept to me, of like you can just kind of do what you want in this game, and it has it can support that, and then it also has a very strong story.

But it's like I wasn't so enthralled with it that I do feel the need to go back, and yet I at the same time, it does feel like one of those ones that will come up in other people's lists.

I just should try it.

No, see, I don't understood any like that.

I'm sorry, all right, what else you got?

I don't.

It's not really on my list, but it's fascinating that it isn't, because I think when we did our what most Anticipated Games for this Year list, this was my number one.

Everyone was very excited for it.

It came out and reviewed incredibly well, and now nobody wants.

Nobody wants to talk about it, especially for this It's monster A hundred wild ye just eighty nine Yep, it's open credit.

It is.

Uh, it's in that weird situation where it was like it delivered a game that you could tell is well made, and yet it is not the Monster Hunter game that people want.

And then in some certain ways it's kind of it's really bad, especially.

Performance, and it's like you know, in a lot of other Monster Hunter games, if it was broken in certain ways, we're disappointed.

In some ways, people would still be like losing their mind for it or like throwing their entire lives in it into it in the game.

This game's big problem is that no one seems to be doing that really, or if they are, they're maybe going back to some other Monster Hunter games instead while they're ignoring this one.

So yeah, I don't I don't know what they do about Wilds, but this one doesn't seem to have much of a chance to be in the conversation for Game of the Year at all at this point.

Yeah, and maybe another one going into so sorry.

Was that unless they drop like some crazy content, right.

Yeah, but I mean they're gonna have their big DLC for that probably next year, right, Yeah.

I can't imagine there's anything but they could do this year, just at an update.

The They usually take more than a year to release that update, but they probably after the reception of this one.

That's probably accelerating the whatever they're doing with that one.

For sure, it's my it's my number three still, like I think it's one of the best game of the year still for me.

But yeah, I understand that the public reception of it.

Oh you you're about to say another game, Mike, go ahead.

That's real quick and one going into or at some point this year.

We thot would be a bigger deal, and I don't think it's going to get much given to your stuff.

Is Mario Kart World, But yeah, I don't hate that game, but yeah, you know, no, Mario Kart really usually is in game of your discussion Mario Kart.

It was really good though.

I think that one might have been in there at that time.

But yeah, well that's still a rare thing for that series.

Oh what's up.

There's three games that I haven't finished.

There's only one that I think I really want to for Game of the Year.

Okay, what's that?

Two of them I thought I would get to and now I'm like, yeah, maybe I saw playing them for a reason.

Yeah, three or three of those on the list, So I was kind of seeing what I was going to ask you how you felt about these?

Go ahead, yeah, June, the Dark Ages Avowed, it's split fiction, and all those three you didn't.

You didn't finish split fiction.

I thought, you know, because you know I play with Aging and it's probably know he's busy with kids.

I need to get him over here and play through the rest of it.

Because I was, we were having a very good time with it, but gosh, like a Vowed and Doom Dark Ages, I was enjoying it.

Kind of what both, even more so with Doom with a Vow maybe I could say muscle going back.

Something fun with Doom especially, I don't know what it was.

It's something wrong with It's a good game, but I'm just a little bit over it.

I had to admit, Yeah, I for me, I haven't tried Doom.

But I did play the whole first area of A Vowed and then I got to that second area and I was just like, ah, I'm good, I'm good.

I'm good.

Like it wasn't like anything negative about the game.

It's like it delivered experience.

I was very happy with.

I thought the story was good, but it wasn't so I'm not so compelled by that's that wasn't the reason I was playing.

I was playing because it felt awesome to play the game and it was fun to explore, and I had a bunch of those moments, and then it's like I don't need to like start over from scratching a new area and sort of rediscover it.

I'm good and you know, do just that.

It doesn't make my top ten probably, but I could see this at like a number nine or number ten on my list, avowed.

I don't know if I'm gonnat around the doom though.

It just seems like that game came and went so hard that I'm not gonna surprise.

Yeah, it a little surprising.

That feels like a known quantity situation where it's like this game, despite doing a lot of things differently, still is very much one of those doom games.

And I don't know.

I mean, I think about it like I was I remember watching you play we did the quick look, or no, that was Dan.

It was Dan that did the quick look.

I was watching him play and I was like, you know what this.

You know, him going through here and changing colors to sort of dodge into these certain projectiles and having that huge Perry window.

It looks fun, but I don't know.

I'm just not again feeling overwhelmed subverge to play it.

We talked about us before with God of War Ragnert Rock, where it's like, well, it used to be you can kind of get a trilogy out of something, you know, right, that's what it is.

You do too, and you get out of there and you think about something else, and maybe they should maybe they should have pivoted the quake already.

Know, if they wanted to do the medieval thing, they should have done Hexan or just something that, you know, they did some stuff different here, like the pit, the shield and whatnot, but maybe it needed a bigger differentiator and not just kind of medieval stuff, more cut scenes, kind of taking itself more seriously with the confusing direction.

I think for doom this right right now, it reviewed well eighty six on Open Critic, But yeah, I don't think it's going to get much.

I don't think it's going to be like nominated for Game of the Year or anything like that.

Let's talk about you want to get back to.

Yeah, split fiction is one where I'm like, I keep thinking like I need to do a co op show, and I know we're going to play a bunch of co op games together, Like Residuvil six is one you wanted to play, and I really want to do that.

It's like you need to do one of those and eventually just get the split fiction.

Hollow Night, Silk Song, let's talk about that real quick, just you know, I like, very fast, we've been talking about a lot that is a contender for my number one.

Is it like a lock?

No?

I'm still also.

Very much enjoying Expedition thirty three, which I pro miss.

Everybody I will get back to that has a chance to be up there, Blueprints has a chance to be up there still.

Even Bonanza, I think is like in that talk For me, I don't have a clear front runner personally, but I think if I like, you know, because they I recognize.

The recency bias there, we'll help with this.

But if I sit down right now and go to my gut, it probably a Silk Song that's a it's a mesmerizing, magical game.

Yeah.

Oh, I'm absolutely loving it.

You know I've been.

I've stayed up till five am multiple nights.

This week because I just kind of can't stop playing it so much fun, kind of towards the end where I am just like getting like, okay, well now there's like this optional boss I can do and that was really hard, but that was really satisfying, and like, I only have so many more of these things to collect, I may as well get the rest of them.

And I got an upgrade, and yeah, I absolutely love it.

It's just such a.

Good one of these.

I love the challenge of it, I love the atmosphere of it, I love the characters.

There's not much about it, if anything, that I would change, just absolutely loving.

Silk Song definitely a top contender for me as well.

It's one of those games that like I don't even really have criticisms of, but it makes me like think more about what I do like about games, and it's well, that's that's fun.

I could just tell this game knows exactly what it needed to be and delivered on that one and I wouldn't change anything about it.

It's good stuff.

But people often see people like got quick lays in this game.

No, No, it's really good.

It's so good.

Yeah, it's like you know, like I get like some people have issues and maybe it's difficult from them or two unforgiving on one ways.

But I can't.

I can't pretend to like the game less on your behalf, you know, I like it.

I like it like this right, we kind of just come on the show and say we really feel you.

And if it's a little annoying sometimes if you're not feeling the same way, I.

Get it all right.

And then one I want to get out of the way dispelow day.

That will likely be on my top ten.

Just a transportive experience to be in the shoes of someone else in another country and yet and like to a connection to a sport that I have some I followed a little bit, but like it's a it's an Ecuador, a place I've never been, a language I don't speak, a way of living I have not experienced.

And yet, despite all of these things that are alien to me, one of the most familiar experiences I've ever had the chance of playing in a video game of just being a child existing around parents, like having conversations and the world having a conversation about this one event that's happening, and then how that ties in politically to other events that are happening.

It is special.

It is so so so good.

Not that long.

People should still check this game out.

I hope it doesn't get completely lost for Game of the Year for a lot of people.

But then there's a kind of a pile of games, Mike that we could probably go through here pretty quickly.

Shouldn't you have some you start go ahead.

I was gonna say, shanobias, I should just let you go at it.

I was like, you're gonna forget about Shanobi.

Then you immediately said.

The word Shanoby Art a Vengeance, pip Ostrello and the Cursed yo Yo, Ninja, Guid and Rage Bound, Tony Owks, pro Skater three plus four, Rogue, Prince of Persia, one hundred line, Last Defense Academies.

That what it is, I've not touched that when I haven't touched some of these, Sean brought up a hundred line many of those Shanoby I do feel like I really do need to get back to and really play.

That's one that's like if I did like an hour long show every Friday, I can maybe play Shnoby before the end of the year or something like that, and a couple other things.

But I don't know of those like what sticks out to you other than let's start with Shanoby.

I guess yeah, I mean I really like Schnoby.

You plays through all bit there's a part of me that's almost a little like surprised, like Dan Reiker like Shnoby more than I do do.

Yeah, yeah, I like part of me is like, man, I wonder like I'm getting I hear some of that.

There's a part of me that's almost a little bit I wish this was actually a little bit more like Shanobi three, because there's a lot of ways it's not much like that game esthetically and through callbacks, but in terms of the game itself not not really.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean where it's like I think, I you know, because of you, you like turned me onto Shanoby three in a big way, and I was so I had something I had played in the last handful of years, and I be like, oh, that game rules.

They could modernize this game easily with this next one.

Now it's lizard Cube, right, lizard Cube went hard doing the thing that they do, making an excellent combat action game that looks astounding because of their animation.

Just maybe the best animation in the industry period, like including Next Level over in Nintendo just across the board.

An amazing game to look at, and it's like, Okay, yeah, they did their own thing and they knocked it out of the park.

But you're right.

I think maybe that's the reason I didn't like immediately connect with it, because I was expecting maybe.

A little bit more Shnoby.

That's fine though, that's not really a complaint about this game A major complaint.

No, look, I like it a lot.

It'll probably be my top ten.

I don't think it's gonna be my top five, is all I mean.

Yeah, you know, I have not played enough Shnoby.

But I think Sean might be saying I can't tell, but I Ninja got in Ragebound.

I might actually personally prefer But it's like.

Sean's saying it's better.

He's talking about me complaining it's not more like, ok I believe okay.

Sure, yeah, oh it's Oh it's better than Shnobi three, is what he's saying.

I I like Rage Bound a whole bunch.

That is one where it's like, oh that just clicked with me.

They they have enough platforming challenges and weird stuff, and it just felt really good and immediate.

It doesn't look as good as Shanoby, but I get people who prefer Shnoby.

I kind of want to play more rage Bound, because you know, that is kind of another thing Shoby is.

Like, Yeah, I really do like the platforming part of action platforming, and Chenoby is definitely more of a focus on the action.

So I think one that had even a bit more platforming might be might be my jam.

Uh, did you play much Pipastrello A little bit?

I started and I did.

I liked it.

I wasn't.

I don't know this because this game has incredibly good reviews some people.

Really ye, I was gonna go check the Metacritic against I know it was like the one in that one tier down from the very very very top of like right there, I've.

Been jumping on that game is before he came out.

Yeah, I think I played it on a Mega Man and I liked it, but I don't know, I didn't feel super compelled to get back to it.

Like The Drifter is something I started on a show, and that's one I actually do want to finish.

Before the end of the year that point culick adventure game.

But I don't know.

I don't feel super bad about not finishing Pit Pastrello got him.

I came back to check out Pipastrella, and there's like other games here that we kind of probably didn't play, but like we easily could, and like consider it like sort of the Sea as an eighty eight that's like number sixteen on Metacrik's the best games of the year so far.

I do, And that one was weird because it seems like people were when it first came out.

I was about to play.

I was actually about to play it on a Mega Man.

Then like they just fired People's like, oh, is that weird to play right now?

And then Monster Trained two, which, now that you've hopped on board one of those, maybe you can get down with Monster Train two.

Literally thinking of doing a Mega Man for that at like on Monday, because yeah, I want to check out Monster Ting two.

I love that game.

I thought that it was just so much fun, so engaging, had a great sense of humor, of incredible loop, a ton of variety.

Just yeah, of one of these kind of like sim management kind of games.

Tremendous.

My bullshit game, Jeff Grubbs bullshit game of the Year is going to be Roadcraft.

I want to spend more time with it.

I wish I had more time.

I want to play some more of it with you, honest, let's get back on there.

Still could Yeah, Like with remakes like that, I'm always like, I'm not gonna put it too high, but boy did I have a good time playing through it, like play through it on two different platforms because what then?

Yes, exactly, That's what I'm like constantly still just picking that game up and playing it when I need to just kind of feel something, and it's still perfect for that.

Uh And in some way, I like really like the pro goals.

Actually they're really tough, but I like them.

Yeah, it's good stuff.

Brogue Prince of Persia.

Any chance to play more of that before we go to game of these conversation?

Actually I really did.

I was really enjoying it when I was playing that again on Mega Man.

So I like to at least finish one run.

I don't know if it's one of these where I go back and like, do you know, usually they haven't sent to story reasons to do the run many times, but beating one run would be good for me.

And then last the last one.

I want to ask you about the one hundred line.

Is there a chance you try that?

You know, it reviewed pretty well and people seem to like it.

Probably probably not.

Honestly, I don't really see myself got him.

I And I know I've been defending sid Meyer Civilization seven.

I wonder how much I'm gonna defend it.

What if it's going to be in.

My top ten?

I don't know.

I mean, it's it's a fine game.

I don't have many problems with it.

It's just not, you know, as refined as the most recent one that got super refined over time.

And that's just the SIEVs story.

I love the stupid faces and characters and animations.

I think Peak is a bit of a standout this year.

I don't know other people's going to look at it because it's another Assassin's Creed is like, you know, but it's I think it's the best Assassin Creed in the last couple of years for sure.

I had a really good time with it.

It was it was definitely one I had to kind of say to myself, I get it and move on from it.

But it gave me the best feeling of like, oh, I could just kind of.

Lose myself in this game if I had endless time to play it like I did when I played Brotherhood or whatever.

It felt very similar to that.

So yeah, it lived up to the Assassin's Creed legacy in a really good way, all right.

Like I kind of sorry, kind of a weird one from me because it's a it's a compilation, so I don't know if it will make my list.

I had a similar one last year, but I really liked that Marvel Fighting Collection Volume.

Two with Cat con Versusses S and K two, Street.

Fighter three Upper or Alpha Upper, and they just like I did, characters to that.

Yeah, that was an incredibly good collection.

I played so much more of that than the New Fatal Fury.

Even I was like, oh, this is my fighting game right now.

Actually, I just want to keep playing freaking cap Converce S and K two.

So that was just a really good collection.

That is a collection I actually have booted up randomly a couple of times.

It's just I just love looking at those games.

And yeah, freaking that Plasma Sword.

It was just so Project Justice.

Hades two feels like a real problem for my list right now, a real problem.

So yeah, like tough choices are kind of happening where I'm like, no, I'm not going to finish a vout or doom.

If they spoke to me more, I would have finished them on my own.

I guess, like you know, Keeno Coom delivered to or even even desk Stranding.

It's like, yeah, to give those games a shot.

I'm going to try to find time, but boy, it's just getting wacky bananas up in here.

You know, like Dying Light the Beast came out today and I had code for that for a while.

I did even try you know, Okay, the review is kind of dropped a little bit.

It's turned down to like a seventy eight on PC in seven and.

Kind of I was hi rish at first, and I was at first, I was like I don't want to play this.

Yeah to bad.

Yeah it was like eighty it was like eighty two or something, and I was like, oh okay, and the like there's some of the reviews were saying, it's like looking like they really focused on the fun parts instead of some of the problems that were a problem in the sequel.

Like maybe I'll try that now I can be like, okay, look, I'm just I'm just not going to have time for that because that list of games I just said was crazy, Like goes to Yote feels like it could be a really good game.

But I just I don't know.

I don't know if I'm going to play that, Mike.

I don't know at least try that one for sure.

I mean, it's weird because I do have zero excitement for it, and I liked as like, I don't know why I'm not excited.

And it's even pretty different from games I play because I have not really delved into one of these big map games in a moment.

I didn't play the Assassin's Career.

I didn't even do the Death Stranding.

I haven't played a big triple A open world game in quite a while.

Honestly, even still, I'm just kind of like, I don't know.

Yep, it's I mean, you know, there's still the chance those reviews come out and it clicks and clicks for me, it's like, oh, never mind, I really want to play this, But in this moment, it's just like when those ones I am putting off to the side already, the ones I won't be able to ignore.

Haities two Men to the Hollower Metroid Prime four Ninja guide him for maybe probably at least that one, and then like for me, it's like I've never I've never played a lot of Silent Hill, but Silent Hill f it's getting good.

Do I need to prioritize quote unquote more important things or just play games I want to play, which is like I think I should do.

But you know, like, yeah, Ninja Kai and four, I definitely want to check that out.

Than Nintendo stuff.

It's part of me that's like, boy, legend Za better have a real strong start.

I just wasn't thinking about skating in general.

What were we on around this time of the original skate project He Project Date?

Yeah, yeah, right, American Wasteland Proving Ground that A yeah, it don't quite those I.

Don't think I ever played any Proven Grounds or Project Date.

I don't think I've ever touched those games.

I think I could play Project eight out of Kiosks a best SUPPI er, that's sounds right, But just like picked this up, I would be like, oh see how different this is from Tony Hawk, but also so fun.

And I do generally like the kind of slow paced vibe, like you know, I like the mission based timers, but that's not this.

This is kind of just chill do your tricks.

It's not a rush.

Kind of doing the different maneuvers with the way you flick the right stick.

It feels pretty good the way that grinds are really about balancing.

They're just more about the tricks you go on and.

Off of them.

Yeah, I was surprised how much I was enjoying it.

There's you know, there's some questionable things like I don't know why they decided to make some like Google AI stand in Assistant your Navvy character for this.

I'm not sure.

About that other WHI It's like, you know there's micro transactions, it's a free to play game, Sure there are.

I don't mean, I'm not too worried about the cosmetics on my avatar and I you unlocked some for free and I'm like, look, I'll find some garbage in there to wear.

I'm supposed to be a skater anyways, I'm not.

I'm a piece of meat.

I'm uncooked raw beef.

Yeah, yeah, exactly.

I haven't really done much with like the community aspect, aside from just seeing other people running around in skating, so don't really know how much there is to that.

We're gonna check us on upf plate together and see how we feel.

But my first impressions were surprisingly decent.

Yeah, my experience is pretty similar.

Mike, I tonyak guy.

I played some skate and I played some of those skate clones to the coming on over the last couple of years.

Never really did much for me.

But this one, like, I don't know if this the fundamental skating mechanics are just kind of chilling good.

I'm like, I see a place to grind, I go at it.

I flicked the stick, I land on it.

I kind of feel like it landed in the way I was expecting it to, Like it worked the way I thought it would, and that's like, oh, okay, this is already just kind of clicking in place for me in the first thirty minutes.

That's not what was what I was expecting.

I was expecting a little bit more learning curve.

And yet it still feels very distinct from Tony Hawk in terms of obviously just is it has a very completely different control scheme.

It feels like an early access game, but in like the right way where it's a little bit of a blank canvas of Look, we have the fun gameplay mechanics, we have an idea of how we're going to make money from this game.

Now, just like play the game, and we'll use the data from that to kind of give us an idea of like where we should be growing toward, Like what should this game grow into?

And like I was saying earlier, I think if they add proximity chat and just make it a real hangout game and maybe add some like fun I don't know, fun not necessarily mini games, but like challenges or like Destiny style world events that pop off things like that happening just make it feel a little bit more alive.

I bet they'll have something.

Will it be exactly the game that the skate fans were asking for when they were saying hashtag skate for I don't think it's ever going to be that, But I think it's the game that EA could justify making.

And does that suck?

Sure, But I don't think this is a bad game.

I think I think there's really something here.

So we're gonna be playing on UPF tomorrow.

Let's see if it stands up to that, like like a couple hours just hanging out playing the game, and uh, if it can, then I'll probably keep checking it out here or there for the next couple of years.

And at the same time, like I do not begrudge this game existing at all, Like it is exactly.

It is a four hour and fifty cent game.

That's what this was, and I think it was the right price for the right experience it has.

Do you know what?

The it's review on on Steam is very positive.

People just like it delivered what it said it would.

We we actually were never expecting some like really well thought out game.

Just make sure the digging feels good and that we can make some progression.

It's it's a clicker and really it was like it's not like compared to some idle clicker games.

It's also not very well designed, like there's a lot of clickers way better than this.

But I don't know.

I just like we went in there, we beat it in less than two hours.

We hung out, had fun.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, right, it made some discoveries.

I don't know, it was it was a good time.

It's like it has like the stuff for the loop of a game about digging hole because you know, it's like I said of the jet pack, you have this rope and it's the same thing and you have to like, you know, upgrade your energy.

But it kind turns out, well, just dig like an asshole and you'll find the way points teleporters and yeah, you just kind of go like a mania, especially with the multiplayer, which I don't think the game's balanced for how many players are in there anything like that.

So yeah, it really like was advertising itself.

It's like up to eight players, and man, I wonder what this is like with eight players just digging straight down and you're done in like twenty five minutes.

Maybe I don't know, it doesn't It didn't seem like it was adjusting for.

The number of players that were in the game anything else we have.

I'm like trying to remember what else I talked about.

It I was playing Roade Prince of Persia, which is out of early access actually, and I thought it was surprisingly good.

But yeah, I think people should check that one.

Out if they like roguelikes like Dead Cells with I think the platforming in this is fantastic.

It feels really nice.

It's a game that I think is gonna be a bit lost in the shuffle of a lot of good two D action games right now, So uh, don't don't let it pass you.

By completely if you think it's something you might be interested in.

I played Lego Voyagers with jan Achoa of giant bomb dot com.

We stream that that is a co op only game that is a split fiction like and I thought it's really charming.

It looks fantastic, like all these recent Lego games have, you know, And I guess if I say Lego games, people might immediately start thinking of like the Star Wars Lego games.

There are the there's the other track of Lego games like I can never remember the name of it, but it's sort of the the contemplative sort of inner piece game where you're playing playing as a Lego piece that moves around, it saws puzzles, and maybe you abandon your child.

I can't remember the story, but it was very sad.

It's similar to that, but now you are working together to sort of like solve very simple puzzles in a world where it's just like, uh, you need to get to that side.

So one person's gonna use a lever to get on this platform and then they're gonna fling you over together side, and then you do the same thing to them using the lever that's on that side.

Of the chasm.

A lot of simple stuff like that, but it oh just felt like every time we made a big reveal of like, oh, what is this lever going to do, or what is the solution to this puzzle going to cause to happen in the world, it's always pretty cool.

Like I think we were like setting off a rocket or something.

There was a big explosion and it happened over our head.

It was it was neat.

I think this might be a really good one to play with a kid who mostly understands gaming logic the way game puzzles are built, and as long as they get that, I think you'll have a good time.

It's like playing this as a family game or like with a partner or something like that.

That is interested in spending time with you playing games, but maybe it's not their primary hobby.

I think this one could deliver the experience you're looking for.

It's not I don't.

I think it's not as good as Split Fiction.

As far as I could tell, I've not played much split Fiction.

I played a little bit of it.

Split Fiction has a lot more going on.

That is a video game as video game for two people at the same time.

So if you're like picking and choosing between that, and you're like looking for the more premier experience, split Fiction is probably going to do it.

If you like Lego like these kinds of games, you want something pretty and chill to hang out with, I think this one can work for most people.

All right, uh yeah anything.

I enjoyed watching you guys play that game, Okay, Yeah, I was wondering what it was like for people.

Yeah, it just looked it was a fun game to look at.

It's very pretty, it's very check.

They didn't not even sure if they have ray tracing, and they had ray tracing in that other one, which Lego Builders Journey, I knew chat would.

I was going to look down them like, I bet there's I know right that one like was like, hey we have ray tracing.

That's crazy, and like I didn't even see that as an option in this one seems like a much more like refined or confined experience of like, let's just kind of make it smaller and go for it, probably because they knew they're gonna have a smaller audience of people who will play with two people at the same time.

Yeah, yeah, play with friends double the fans, so yep, they know that she's so.

This is the only thing I don't like about that game, it is the matches are still a little bit too long when you like especially.

I mean, how long are they and what do you expect or what do you know?

I don't know time why is how long they are, but they feel so kind of long, especially when like at the beginning when it first time out, it was if I didn't feel it, because we will.

You will either die right away or we will kill the other person right away, because nobody knows who to play the game yet.

But now that everybody's kind of level up and like it understands all the mechanics and they know how to defend and stuff, the matches are kind of stretchy, you know, they stretch out.

And I got like a couple of timeouts in a way that you kind of don't get another fighting games.

We're like, oh, it's just running down the clock.

And I've been told that the second alpha test that they did like a couple of months ago, like pretty.

Much every single match when the timeout.

And now it's not that problem anymore, so maybe like making a little bit more Like sure, even though you do a lot of damage in this game, it's just you have too many defensive options.

I feel like you have like you can roll away, you can wake up invincible reversal, you can wake up like super.

You have like just defense that kind of stuff, or like you have a lot of like defensive options.

Maybe take one out in me, I will accelerate the thing a little bit more.

But other than that, the game issues a lot of fun issues.

I like Little Later.

Yeah, I like live Let on top of that, so seeing all these characters like beating the ship at each other are really fun to me.

And I played in a tournament the other day.

I went, I went one.

Two, so my us kicked.

So it feels I don't know, it's it's it's a fun game.

It's still a long way.

I feel like they need they definitely need more characters because it's not enough right, and it's just fun.

Yeah, it seemed it just seemed like it was the game was in a weird place.

Who knows, it's probably I do ask for the specific thing every time it is an undercut, and I tell them leave the top as long as possible, to just clean it up, and then give me a one on the sides, and then sometimes I all them blend it and sometimes I won't, but I'm trying to grow it back out long on top, like that's the one that I always say this, that's the part that takes a long time to grow back.

The sides will grow back from just you know, as as it is.

So that's an easy thing to say now because I don't mind if it kind of gets a little bit bushy and weird like this.

I think it's so it's looking fine for me right now.

But yeah, if you are trying to keep it a certain length and you want them to do a little bit more to it, I think that's probably where we get in trouble.

And I do not know how to solve that.
