Speaker 1

This is Josh Zemon hosted the new six part series Hunting the Long Island serial Killer from Tenderfoot TV and iHeart Podcasts.

If you're listening to this message, it's because you're either a friend of the show or because somehow you've discovered this podcast and decided to give it a listen.

Either way, I'm glad you're here.

This podcast will follow my hunt for a killer one who terrorized a community for decades, the Long Island serial Killer aka Lisk.

I'm a documentary filmmaker, and in twenty sixteen, I released an investigative series where I came close to catching Lisk, closer than anyone had been before.

Looking back, there's so much more to this story than I originally thought, and so many questions that I now have answers to.

I want to share an exclusive clip of the podcast, and while you're here, please follow the show weeks.

We'll be releasing the official trailer, followed by the series launch on November seventeenth.

Check out this clip, and while you listen, drop us a rating and review.

You're listening to It's to a Tenderfoot TV podcast.

When Rachel and I first started filming in the summer of twenty fourteen.

The official investigation was only three years old, but for some reason, the Suffolk County Police Department wouldn't even talk about it, and they rarely spoke to the families.

So we spent two years conducting our own investigation trying to find out who Lisk might be.

As it turns out, we were far closer to catching Lisk than we thought, and those same clues that led police to cracking this case, we're right there, all a long, long, buried in our footage.

He was just this beast of a man, like six foot nine, three hundred pounds, white black, Hispanic white dude, fifty years old.

Monster.

There was only like a couple weeks right before she disappeared that guy was there.

On this podcast, we're going to reveal those clues as we sift through hundreds of hours of old footage from our show, interviews, phone calls, doorstep confrontations.

Yes you're looking for you, But we're also digging back in to confront an even harder question.

Could Lisk have been caught sooner?

And finally what so many of us have been waiting for for over two decades.

The upcoming trial of Rex Hwerman, the alleged Long Island serial killer.

The theory of our case is this defendant meticulously and methodically hunted down and murdered seven women.

Could this man have been caught as far back as twenty ten?

God forbid?

We find more victims that could still be alive if they had made the arrest back then.

And while we might think we know who Lisk is, there's still so many questions that this trial might answer, and we'll be there every step of the way until finally we get what may be the most important answer of them all, the verdict.

But until then, all we can tell you is what we've uncovered, and it's a story that starts back in the winter of twenty ten, exactly fifteen years ago, on our remote stretch of highway in Long Island, in an area known as Gilgo Beach.

All rights, wrongs, beach breaking news, and all duty cop walking.

His dogs doubles on a woman's dead body, his tail started waiting, and I saw the skeletal remains of the body.

From Tenderfoot TV and iHeart podcasts, Hunting the Long Island Serial Killer will be released on November seventeenth.
