The station gets some new personnel, including a transfer from the Kintsugi. Bontali meets with the Lyran ambassador, while Kyl works to shuffle around the scientific assignments. Gob's work on the roundabout leads to another watery incident. The protagonists begin to follow up that mystery from different directions-- leading to the discovery of a dangerous contraband.
