We are just under two days away from Eastern Michigan’s season opener vs. Sacramento State.

Sac State being a Mid-American Conference opponent certainly gives this game a weird flavor to begin with, but it’s also pretty wild that EMU’s hosting not just one but two California-based schools this season. 

If I had to guess, I’d say that Sac State isn’t going to walk into Rynearson Stadium with a passive attitude and just hoping to play their best. I think Sac State’s going to try whatever it can to be the new bullies of the league, and it starts with doing so on EMU’s gray turf.
