This week on the pod we interviewed former Huntsville Police Department Officer Rika Shipley. We talked about when she experienced homelessness as a single mother, and how that experience influenced how she performed her duties as an officer of the law in Huntsville. Every day HPD are expected to help people experiencing homelessness. This is a task they shouldn’t have because no one should be without a home.
