Untangling Ourselves
We’ve all experienced pressure to follow values that aren't aligned with our own: at work, in toxic family systems, at school, with friends, or in religious groups. This podcast is about untangling those pressures through deconstructing, deschooling, deprogramming: asking "why" and watching the "have-tos" and "shoulds" fall apart.
Guests share how joy, curiosity, and a sense of purpose lead to rethinking how we live our lives, who we think we are, and how we practice relationships. It's not just seeing what's wrong that leads to sustainable shifts--but seeing what's right.
Topics including: non-coercive leadership, unschooling, peaceful parenting, feminism, leaving high control religion, neurodivergence, disability, donor conceived people, free Palestine, arts and music, local organizing, mutual aid, trans rights, children's rights, CPTSD, and toxic family systems.
