Episode Description
It was a small village in Hertfordshire, where very little ever disturbed the peace - certainly not the kind of brutal violence that unfolded when retired Army Colonel Robert Workman was shot dead on his own doorstep.
Robert was an old-fashioned military man: well spoken, private, proud, and known for his calm and easy-going nature. He lived a quiet life and had no obvious enemies. So when news spread that he had been murdered outside his own home, the question on everyone’s mind was chillingly simple - who could possibly have wanted him dead, and why?
