True Dat returns this week with special guest Dru Montana (comedian/other half of the 'Durag & the Deertag' podcast) to cover... The Zodiac Killer! This is probably the most infamous cold case in American history - not only are there multiple suspects and theories, but some of the puzzling ciphers the Zodiac left behind still remain unsolved. That is until this year, when an amateur sleuth claimed to have cracked the Z13 code, naming Marvin Margolis (AKA Marvin Merrill), as the likely perp. But there's a twist - Margolis may also be connected to the Black Dahlia murder, another unsolved case from 20 years prior. While this new theory has yet to be officially endorsed by law enforcement, we hope that it brings awareness back to the case so we can move closer to an answer.
