Episode Description
In one of the great revelatory experiences of Moses, he was taught an essential truth and confirming identity of God's sons and daughters. "For behold, this is my work and my glory, to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." (Moses 1:39) This profound statement of truth should provide pause in contemplating one's own mortality, future ordinations, and the interconnectedness of the work of the Gathering of Israel. What exactly is immortality and eternal life? How does eternal life progress to the plurality of eternal lives? Everything in the temple points us to the glory and work of our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. As we come to know Them through saving Their other sons and daughters, we gain an advantage in the Resurrection, grown in Their power and glory, and most importantly become like Them in every sense of the word.
