Host Tia Smith, who taught this subject for years to young single adults including at Utah State Institute, begins with President Nelson's promise — repeated in "Hear Him" and "Temple and Your Spiritual Foundation" — that spiritual doors will open and you will learn to part the veil between heaven and earth. From there, why the veil parts for you: your foreordination and "holy calling" described in Alma 13, and how it applies to both young men and young women as priests and priestesses.
Along the way: the pattern of the great high priest in Hebrews 5, how intercessory prayer (the same kind missionaries offer to find people to teach) lets you ask who needs your help on the other side of the veil, and the difference between "hunting and fishing" (from the fishers-and-hunters prophecy in Jeremiah) — why growing into revelation takes more than pressing "ordinance ready," and how answers come through promptings, thoughts, dreams, and visions, just as Joel prophesied.
