Episode Description
The time is now to visit (in many ways) the origin point of the entire 15 year Worst Idea project. Dennis Dugan’s directorial debut is Problem Child - a 1990 movie which itself is fairly problematic. Beyond the liberal use of the R word and a B-plot involving a serial killer (played by Michael Richards - famously the only unproblematic figure in comedy) being the 8-year-old protagonist’s hero, this movie just plain seems to hate human beings. On the other hand, it is the genesis of the Vibes-based cinema system pioneered by Dugan and perfected by Sandler.
