It is that time of year again … grab your tennis shoes and pick a sport you want to participate in at the Oklahoma Senior Games!
In studio is Regina Stewart, who is a Senior Games participant but also is the Assistant Event Director, and Volunteer Coordinator for the games. Michael Getto is also in studio and is Media and Community Director.
Yes you can still participate in the Oklahoma Senior Games! They start August 7th and you can still sign up to be a participate. The games run through November 14th. Go here for all the information you need: okseniorgames.com
You can also sign up to be a volunteer or to be a spectator to the games at their website above. The Oklahoma Senior Journal has been a supporter of the Oklahoma senior Games for the last eight years!
Michael Getto is a retired Public Relations Manager for AT&T. After leaving the corporate world he opened his own Video Production Facility in Bricktown. Many of Mike’s clients were organizations that he helped promote for AT&T. He has always enjoyed working with non-profit groups from across Oklahoma. He continues that work today as Media and Community Director for the Oklahoma Senior Games.
Regina Stewart – After retiring from a Corporate Job and involvement in several Health and Wellness Organizations, the Oklahoma Senior Games was a great fit for Regina. Currently, she serves as Assistant Event Director, and Volunteer Coordinator for the games. Her love of sports, and the desire to help Athletes have a great experience is what keeps Regina involved with the Oklahoma Senior Games.
