Solomon – now a two-time winner of The Wrestling Observer’s Book of the Year award for his 2025 work, Irresistible Force: The Life & Times Of Gorilla Monsoon. Like Smith, Solomon also works for PWI, and on this special edition, the duo looks back at mat history and tries to determine when bad guy wrestlers went from rough-and-tough rulebreaking to taking part in seriously violent sadism and cruelty, even during televised matches.
