Former police officer turned award-winning comedian Alfie Moore meets investigative journalist Kaf Okpattah to learn more about cybercrime and the new generation of fraudsters. 

Kaf spent months in this shadow world and wrote about his experiences in his book Scam Nation. He tells Alfie about his childhood in Ghana before moving to Tottenham in London. He explores how easy it is for young people to be lured into cybercrime and why it’s never a victimless crime. 

Alfie and Kaf are joined by Detective Sergeant Ben Hurley from the Dedicated Card and Payment Crime Unit to discuss the increasingly sophisticated techniques that scammers are using, and to advise us about how we can protect ourselves from these types of crime.
