Former police officer turned award-winning comedian Alfie Moore meets Becky Holmes, a writer and speaker who specialises in romance fraud and online manipulation. 

Becky, the author of Keanu Reeves is Not in Love with You, grew up in Stratford-upon-Avon and lives back in her hometown. She tells Alfie how she started interacting with – and ultimately exposing – hundreds of romance fraudsters on social media, accidentally becoming a viral phenomenon in the process. 

Alfie and Becky are joined by Mary Chater who was pursued by someone called Dani, who she met online. After months building trust and a relationship, he turned out not the be the person they said they were, and Mary wasn’t the only victim of this sophisticated scam. Mary talks openly about how the experience has affected her.
