Episode Description

What if the problem isn’t a weak core… but how much we’re holding?

In this solo episode, we’re diving into something I see all the time with high-achieving women — especially in midlife.

For years, we’ve been the ones who hold it all together.
We push through.
We stay strong.
We keep going.

And then in our 40s…

our body starts to push back.

Leaking when we run.
Tension that won’t go away.
Shallow breathing.
Digestive issues.
A constant feeling of being “on edge.”

And it can feel confusing.

Because we’re doing all the things.

But what if nothing is wrong?

What if your body is simply saying:

you don’t have to hold everything anymore.

In this episode, we explore how that pattern of “holding it all together” doesn’t just live in our mindset — it lives in our body.

We grip our stomach.
We clench our pelvic floor.
We brace our core all day long without even realizing it.

And over time, that holding starts to work against us.

We talk about how this affects:

-your breathing and nervous system
-your pelvic floor and bladder control
-your digestion and gut health
-your overall sense of tension and anxiety

Because when we’re constantly bracing, we’re sending our body into a stress response — and it becomes our default.

I also share a client story that really brings this to life.

After a week of practicing letting go, she said:

“But now it feels easy… like I don’t have to try to let go anymore.”

And that’s the goal.

Not just learning how to let go…

but making “not holding” your new normal.

This episode is an invitation to start noticing.

To check in with your body throughout the day and ask:

Am I holding right now?
Can I soften?
Can I let go… even just a little bit?

Because sometimes the most powerful shift isn’t doing more.

It’s releasing what was never meant to be held in the first place.
