It’s not. It’s a necessity.
And in midlife… we can’t afford to ignore it anymore.
I’ve got 99 problems… but my health isn’t one.
And in this season of life - it can’t be.
In this solo episode, I’m sharing a real, honest reflection on what it feels like to be a woman in midlife - navigating perimenopause, motherhood, business, and a full, busy life - and why taking care of your health is no longer optional.
Because something shifts in your 40s.
In your 30s, you can push through.
You can sacrifice sleep, stay up late, have a few drinks, and still function the next day.
But in midlife?
Your body becomes less forgiving.
And more importantly… you stop wanting to push through.
You start wanting to feel good.
In this episode, I talk about the transition from “getting by” to intentionally supporting your body so you can show up the way you actually want to - for your kids, your work, and yourself.
We dive into the reality that many women have normalized feeling “fine” - low energy, stiffness, poor sleep, brain fog - and why that’s actually a dangerous place to stay.
Because after 40, and especially into your 50s, there are real physiological changes happening.
-Bone density declines.
-Muscle mass decreases.
-Healing slows down.
And this is the window where we need to start banking our health.
Not from a place of fear - but from a place of empowerment.
This episode is also about modelling.
Modelling strength, movement, and nourishment for your kids.
Showing them what it looks like to fuel your body, to move with intention, and to take care of yourself - not because you have to, but because you value how you feel.
Because when you feel good, everything changes.
-You have more energy.
-More patience.
-More capacity.
And that creates a ripple effect in every area of your life.
