James Podesta 

James Podesta - the technical heart of Gangs of Asia - is a programmer, engine builder, and lifelong game-maker whose career spans countless games and countable decades. 

James completed honours in computer science and opted out of a PhD to work on Stargunner with Dave Pevreal, Leo Plaw and Craig Allsop, published by Apogee. Next, he went on to work for Auran on Dark Reign: The Future of War after which he headed over to the UK to work for Codemasters on TOCA 2: Touring Car Challenge, and spent some time prototyping their PS2 engine. He finally returned to Brisbane to work for Krome Studios. In 2008, James founded Wretched Games with Daniel Krenn, releasing 4 iPhone games on the App Store: Venger, Big Booty, Earth Vs Mars and Attack Force.

Jason Christie 

Jason Christie is a games and XR veteran who’s worked on many games including Star Wars and Spyro. He helped pioneer Australia’s first commercial VR application, and now Jason is bringing his vast artistic experience to Gangs of Asia.

As a GM at Real Serious Games, Jason has played a key role in the success of the company and its products over a span of 10 years. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Jason has worked on a wide range of iconic franchises, including Star Wars, Spyro: A New Beginning, The Owls of Ga'Hoole, and Ty the Tasmanian Tiger to name a few. He is passionate about his work and has a proven track record of success. 

Among his many personal achievements, Jason taught the first games course in Australia at QANTM, where he helped to nurture the talents of students with many going to work in the games industry or forming their own companies. 

He has also published his own game, Stunt Truck Racing, on Android and IOS, which has garnered over 500k downloads and is in the final stages of completing a game for PC and Switch that will be published by Microprose. 

Additionally, Jason helped develop the first Australian commercial VR application in 2014 and has been a pioneer in the XR space creating many R&D prototypes and Commercial products as the Innovation R&D Producer at Real Serious Games showcasing his ability to innovate and stay at the forefront of emerging technology. Jason's skills and accomplishments make him an asset to the XR and games industry. 

Jason continues to push the boundaries of what is possible and is dedicated to creating engaging and innovative interactive content.
