The Polish auto industry is enjoying a phase of lightning growth, cruising into the lead over its larger European rivals with record new vehicle sales. In 2025 battery electric vehicle sales across Europe have hit a 20.2% market share after 27% growth, while plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) have passed 10% of the market following a 59% rise. Poland, encouragingly, is surpassing these trajectories with ease, its EV sales up a commanding 107.5% and PHEVs by 97% year-to-date
