Podge & Guich are joined today by someone who proves that, sometimes, the best careers are the ones you never actually planned for! Megan May. 

At 25 years of age and living in Kilkenny, Megan May started creating content around three years ago with one goal in mind. To become a musician. 

But somewhere along the way, the music took a back seat and the comedy, chaos and questionable life decisions took over! 

Fast forward three years and Megan has built a following of over 75,000 people across TikTok and Instagram, who tune in for the laughs, the relatable moments, the crazy nights out and, more often than not, the inevitable bad hangover the next morning! 

Her style is all about finding the humour in everyday situations, while keeping things real, and that's something that clearly connects with her audience. 

But behind the laughs and the social media numbers. Megan is very honest about the reality of trying to make a living as a content creator. The frustration of fakeness, favouritism, trying to find your place in the industry and figuring out how to actually turn followers into a sustainable career. 

And when she's not creating content, Megan works as a supervisor in a local theatre in Kilkenny, which, considering her life seems to involve a fair amount of drama, its probably the perfect job! 

And now she's looking to get back to where it all started, music, while continuing to see just how far this crazy content-creating journey can take her.
