How Two 25-Year-Olds Are Building a Construction Empire | Keaton Hale & Simon Preslopsky
Episode Description
What happens when two 25-year-olds leave home, move to South Florida, and decide to build something much bigger than themselves?
In this episode of the Gold Coast Podcast, Eric Winegard sits down with Keaton Hale and Simon Preslopsky, Co-Owners of Saturn Construction, to talk about building a construction company while they’re still in their mid-twenties.
Their journey started when an opportunity brought them from the Charlotte area to Florida to help manage and renovate a group of properties. That opportunity eventually evolved into Saturn Construction, which now operates in West Palm Beach and Tampa and has three licensed general contractors within the company.
Keaton and Simon break down how referrals and relationships have driven much of their growth, why trust and transparency have become major differentiators, and one of their biggest lessons so far: they weren’t charging enough for the level of service they wanted to provide.
They also discuss custom homes, commercial construction, hiring people who can carry the company’s values, using AI for estimating and operations, building systems that can scale, and their long-term goal of creating a company valuable enough to potentially attract private equity.
It’s a conversation about taking risks early, knowing your value, building a reputation, and thinking much bigger than where you are today.
