Discernment and Fear Are Not the Same | HEALING with Rev. Samantha Hasty, MDiv

May 14

Episode Description

Some women become so practiced at doubting themselves that fear eventually starts sounding responsible.

Smile bigger.
Need less.
Stay agreeable.
Stay exhausted.

And after enough years of disconnecting from your own instincts, it gets harder and harder to tell the difference between discernment… and survival mode wearing church clothes.

In this episode of The Feral Era for Women Over 40, Kirsten Bombdiggity sits down with Rev. Samantha Hasty for a conversation about spiritual scar tissue, religious conditioning, self-trust, over-functioning, and the quiet grief of realizing how often women were rewarded for abandoning themselves.

This conversation explores what happens when healing stops being about becoming “better” and starts becoming about finally believing your own nervous system again.
