Lally testified that he had no prior knowledge of former Trooper Michael Proctor's racist communications and stated he would have recommended Proctor's removal from the case had he known. The judge limited further questioning of Lally about Proctor's voicemails since Lally had never heard them, suggesting instead that the parties stipulate to submitting the thumb drive directly to the court for review.
