On our fourth episode of The Deep List we interview A.M. Shilling about her debut, THE DEVOURING which was released in April this year.

Amrita’s Notes: Shilling’s use of pacing and structuring techniques from Dwight V Swain’s sage advice, has made her novel almost unputdownable. She also talks of writing unlikeable and irredeemable, morally grey characters as the protagonists, which adds another layer to the complexity of this fast-paced thriller. We touch upon marketing and having full creative control of the novel as a self-publishing author, and more of her upcoming projects.
