Amrita’s Notes: Chital’s work touches on South Asian diaspora and it was very insightful to talk about how motherhood and the women she grew up around affected her character work. We talk of the 100-Rejections challenge (which sounds really fun and now I want to try it out) and her journey from rejections in the query trenches to an award-winning novel that won a book deal.
