Growing God's Garden - the parable of the seed (Matthew 13:3-8).

In order to grow a seed, you must first choose the right soil. To do this we need to plant ourselves in prayer and in the word, so that when we share the gospel, we will see fruit.

We prepare the soil and then we plant the seed. Carrying Jesus everyday can be enough for people to see. But a seed won't sow by itself, we need to put ourselves in the position for God to move.

We need to be willing to say 'yes.'

Once the seed is sown, we need to feed it. We may have good intentions, but we often don't do this. Watering the seed means praying for the person whom we are witnessing to. Praying protects them.

Once the seed is sown and fed, it needs 'sunlight' to grow. We also need the 'son' to grow and spread his gospel to others.
