The Columbus Blue Jackets and Zach Werenski put an end to trade speculation with a joint statement early in July. With Werenski recommitting to Columbus, attention is now turned to signing Adam Fantilli longterm and keeping star forward Kirill Marchenko happy, too. Aaron Portzline joins Sean McIndoe to discuss the perennially underachieving Blue Jackets and if Jet Greaves, along with new additions Valeri Nichushkin and Ryan Lomberg, can assist Werenski in leading the Jackets back to a playoff spot in 2026-27.
